Took my son here for a cut today and was glad I did. The woman who did his hair was very meticulous and quick and my sons hair looks great. She did a good job with my kiddo and he felt like he could actually relax. (Every other place hes been to hes complained about how rough they were with the clippers and has come home bright red and full of marks more than once!) I noticed that everyone who came in while we were there seemed to be a regular, which is a good sign. The people working there also seemed good at making conversation with more chatty folks while being cool about being more reserved with those who were less talkative. I also liked the decor. It was a cute place with a nice vibe.Seems like whether you want a place thats cozy where you can connect with people while you get styled or you just want to get a good haircut and go, either way youll be satisfied.

Very nice lady and clean place. My only gripe would be she didnt seem to be up to date on modern styles.

Probably one of the best small barber shops I’ve been too since getting out of the military and moving back to Texas. They were kind and professional and I didn’t feel any weird looks or different treatment I usually get covered in tattoos. I will definitely be back here again! 10/10.

A very small family owned and operated barber shop. Since I have moved to the area I regularly only get my hair cuts here. Owned by a couple who are family-oriented locals who are excellent with mens haircuts. They are incredibly flexible and regularly stay a bit later than their normal hours to accommodate for me getting my cuts on the weekdays. They take card or cash with fair prices on consistent quality haircuts while also offering basic mens haircut products. Well earned reviews, support local business and come to Bakers!

Both my boys get their hair cut from here and Im always surprised at how great the wife is with my youngest. Both husband and wife do amazing jobs and my husband (who takes our boys there) loves this place for our kids! We dont go anywhere else anymore.

I have been coming here the past year and a half, and the Baker team are the best barbers I have ever had. They are quick, while still giving a fantastic cut, and do a great job with their straight razor. They are both very down to earth as well. Definitely visit them and let them do their magic. Came here for the first time this last weekend due to needing a haircut and a beard trim. The reviews won me over and I decided to give them a shot. Located in downtown Temple right off Adams. Ms. Baker is as skilled a barber as any, let me tell you. I came in not knowing how I wanted my trim and being a beard shape novice and came out looking awesome. I can see now why there are so many good reviews. Its more than youll pay at super cuts but its worth the service.

I must say I received the best haircut in my entire lifetime. I am a very picky, distrusting of new barbers because of bad haircuts in the past and I must say I was not anxiety ridden when I sat in the barbers chair.The atmosphere is great and very welcoming and the barbers very talkative and appreciative of you walking into their establishment.Great job guys and girl!Loved itRobert vargas

If youre looking for a sharp fade.. Not this place. The older woman in there messed me up good. When I got home my wife saw how bad it was in the back. After letting them know, they told me it was not there place. Which is insane. I wish I could give this less than 1 star

I m 52 yo and like a really good precision haircut, so I have primarily went to Salons for those. I have been getting my hair cut for most of the last 20 years by the same lady. Well she moved away and I was forced to find a new place, I had read the reviews online and my wife also knew the Bakers and their reputation. So with that being said I gave Mr. Baker a try and he was very friendly and was polite to listen to my expectations for a haircut. He did not disappoint it was exactly what I asked for, a good precision haircut even trimmed my eyebrows. So if your anywhere close to Temple and they are right off I-35 on the north end of Temple give Mr. Baker a try. His wife cuts hair there with him and is also great to.

My sons first hair cut, didnt let his dad off the chair to hold him. Wouldnt let me get involved to comfort him. Just ripped his tangles out. Werent patient. Awful awful traumatic experience.

Good for family hair cuts my husband gets his and our daughter gets a trim. Its NOT getto. Very professional and its not only for men. We love this place and its family friendly. Men dont have to wait 1hr and a half while getting thier hair cuts like other barber shops.
