What started as a recon trip ended with us trading in our SUV and getting a Tundra and RAV4. We needed to upgrade to two vehicles and David (salesman) and Nicole (financing) made it easy. Never felt any pressure from their team one way or another on things. Just informative options for me to choose from.The cleanliness of the location is nice. Plenty of complimentary bottles of water to keep you hydrated from walking the lot or waiting for the paperwork. Already received the service call for 1 of the 2 vehicles to get the windows tinted. Service was fast and waiting area is reasonably comfortable since shuttle only goes in approx 10mile radius.Overall was pleased with our experience and would use this dealer again.

Purchasing my new car from AutoNation was the best! I was able to complete my purchase 100% online and even though I did the process late in the evening, I still received my car delivered to my house the very next afternoon (FOR FREE)! The entire team was excellent and answered all of my questions. I wasnt pressured into anything I wasnt comfortable with purchasing. Plus their price was unbeatable!!! I was able to get my dream car at a great price and I couldnt be happier!

If you’re looking for a place that is going to give you great customer care from every different department this is your place. Zachary Becker in finance seriously will find you THE BEST deal for you and make sure you’re covered all the way around. I was having the worst time finding a car after mine was totaled. I was sad I didn’t really have the “yay! New car” attitude. Alex was our salesman and he knocked it out of the park. I really just didn’t want to deal with having to get a car and fast. Alex spent so much time finding every single car that had the features I wanted. It was like being waited on I felt pretty fancy. Then as a collaborative effort between Zachary, Alex and the Nick I was actually able to buy a brand new car! I really wanted the best safety features because now driving is a stressful. I got hit by a driver who ran a red light. They got me into a brand new Camry with all the bells and whistles! So many safety features I love it! I feel way better about driving. I have always driven luxury cars. This car has more and feels more luxurious then any of my other cars. It was a really awful situation I was probably THE worst customer because I just couldn’t figure out what I wanted. Zachary has the patience of a saint I think I had him run 5 different scenarios then changed my mind. Alex and my husband were the cheerleaders and by the time I got to take my new car home I was really grateful and happy for the experience. Thank you everyoneI appreciate you and I LOVE my car!

Went in to buy a car for cash worked the trade sat around for 2 hours to be told a I need a cashiers check after the bank just closed. If they where well ran they would have said something the three times I said I would be using a check worth my trade in. I was not looking to go back tomorrow, they could have at least offered to go pick a cashiers check from me tomorrow, but they didn’t.Just a normal car dealer they don’t care. Do yourself a favor for everything and shop elsewhere where they maybe are willing to actually seem like they are willing to make it easy on you.

Sales Randy was amazing. His bossa female not so much .The car was supposed to have had a 100 point inspection. That the mechanic checks off . Its all BS. Cabin filter rotten. Air filter black. All brakes and rotors shot. Front axle boot shot. This is all the stuff checked off at there inspection. It was never çhecked or replaced. Make sure you have someone who knows cars take a better look at the car. Also had another car that I wanted so they ordered part . Call a week later and said they had to use that part on another car.

I purchased a used Sienna to replace my older vehicle that was having too many issues. I was less than thrilled when my new vehicle died just 2 days later picking up my child from school. I was tempted to just take advantage of their 5-day return policy but thankfully it was just a dead battery and they replaced it free of charge. I feel like that should have been checked out prior to my purchase but I did appreciate the quick resolution and haven’t had any issues since. Otherwise it was one of the smoother car purchase experiences that I’ve had.

Max was our salesperson and what a breath of fresh air. He was happy, courteous and knowledgeable and looking out for our interest and no pressure. I have never had an experience like this buying a car. We needed to go to the bank while finishing our purchase and Max said I’ll go get a car and take you as I know right where it is. This is just one of the ways he looked out for our every need. I did most of my negotiations online before I got to the dealer and he was responsive and attentive. His mgr, Mike, was also so personable as usually seeing that guy is like seeing OZ on the wizard of oz, but he was joking with us and worked w us on the purchase of our Camry. Can’t say enough positive about this car purchase and it’s due to Max and Mike. Highly recommend.

Our salesman was extremely helpful and nice in trying to get us in and out as quickly as possible…I can’t say the same for the finance end of the deal.On a Friday we drove down from the Prescott area arriving at 4pm plus the dealership had a 2 hour window to get everything squared away prior to us arriving. We warned them that we wanted to be in an out within an hour/hour and a half cuz we were paying cash for the vehicle. It should NEVER take over 4 hours to purchase a vehicle and customers should never be held hostage. The finance department wouldn’t take a personal check for the amount stating that it would take 7-10 business days to clear and we could be in South America by then. Then they turned around and said you could put 0 money down and drive a fifty some thousand dollar vehicle off their lot…NO PROBLEM! Insane! All they wanted to do was force us into financing the vehicle which we did not want to do. So our car buying experience sucked! The dealership was understaffed, unprofessional, totally disorganized and it was a major hassle. Get with it, check readers scan the bank account number on the check to see if there are sufficient funds. We should have been told about the check issue up front. We bought a car locally in Prescott in no joke under an hour paying cash with a personal check, maybe your dealership needs to take notes from Lamb Nissan on how to treat cash paying customers.

This dealership has been my worst dealership experience to date.  I have purchased over 20 cars and at least half through dealerships. I hesitated to leave a bad review because I wanted a chance for the dealership to resolve problems. It hasnt.I first placed my deposit for my 2013 Land Cruiser on the 6th of April this year (three months ago). I was located in San Antonio, TX and needed a vehicle shortly after moving back from overseas. My salesperson, Gabe, assured me that it could be shipped to a local Autonation within 5 days for an $800 fee, to which I agreed.Below is a timeline of the events which followed:6 Apr: Deposit placed7 Apr: Confirmed vehicle could be shipped in 5 days, that radar sensor on bumper would be repaired, plastidip removed from chrome trim pieces, and replacement trailer hitch cover sent by mail.7 Apr: Approval of purchase amount from Credit Union sent to dealer; waiting on dealership to send Purchase Order for check8 Apr: Dealership requested I finance through them if they could beat APR of loan. They could not beat it. Delayed finalizing by another day.9 Apr: Dealership unable to match rate. Purchase order provided and forwarded to CU for check mail overnight (Arriving Monday 12 Apr). Informed that vehicle would be detailed and ship 12 Apr, arriving by Friday 16 Apr: Told that it was no longer possible to pickup.12 Apr: Call to shipping department determined that no request for shipment had even been made and car wouldnt ship for a few days.13 Apr: Vehicle still not scheduled to ship and verified that vehicle could be picked up in person, plane ticket purchased for 14 Apr pickup14 Apr: Flew into Phoenix 8:00, dealership by 9:00, was told vehicle should be ready immediately. After an hour, was told that vehicle would not be ready to take delivery until 1:00 PM. I declined due to 14.5 hour drive to San Antonio, discussing with salesman and manager that there was a possibility for a detailing at another Autonation dealership, otherwise, would make right with new rubber mats (cost equivalent)Was informed that second key would be shipped from dealership once returned by previous owner and would verify mat shipment with Manager. I was offered a We Owe form, but declined because my schedule was tight and didnt want to further delay beginning my drive home. Was told that it would be sent later.19 Apr: Overcharged for sales tax (TX vs AZ) and was not given a clear answer on how to gain refund (TX DMV unaware of registration application) Learned later that it would take 30 days. Called Dealership to inquire about rubber mats, second key, and hitch cover which had been promised, was told I would  receive a call back.23 Apr: Followed up on mats, key, and hitch cover and was told they were working it26 Apr: Texted salesperson with no response on mats, key, and title.28 Apr: Called dealership on mats, key, hitch and was told dealership would not be completing either.29 Apr: Spoke to Different sales manager (Ray) and was told I would have a call returned by Emily and did not.3 May: Spoke to Ray and was told I would have a returned call.The vehicle I picked up had scratches from the previous owners that had not been addressed, dirt from the previous owner, the GPS/Satellite antenna broken from the top and duct tape covering the opening, and the rear parking sensor was still broken at pickup.I was verbally promised to have a repair of a rear parking sensor which was not repaired on my pickup.  To date, I have spent $1200 to get this vehicle into a condition it should have been in when I was told it was ready for pickup over a week after I made my deposit.This dealership, from my salesman Gabe to his sales manager, Emily,  had the opportunity to resolve these problems at multiple steps along the way and chose to string me along until I stopped calling. To date, I have received none of the promised items, no mats, no hitch cover, and no second key. Not to mention the broken antenna, and rear sensor which had to be repaired out of my own pocket.

This is easily been the best car buying experience Ive ever had in my life. Eli took care me from the get go. Granted when you as a customer go in prepared, things typically go smoothly and in your favor. Beyond that Eli and the whole team treated me with a lot of respect, helped me save money on my monthly payment, and got me into a vehicle that I love and appreciate. This is my first Toyota, but will certainly not be my last.

My appointment was for 10:40 - and the line to check in was all the way to the street! It took 30 minutes to get checked in. I dont understand why we make an appointment if they overbook their time! This is the third time this has happened since the spring - and the excuse is always that they are short staffed. The management needs to schedule fewer appointment times and manage the staff better

Overall great experience. Antwione was our salesman and he took great care of us. He has the vehicle I picked online ready to go for a test drive when we arrived. From there the process was smooth and even when I had a minor issue they took care of it flawlessly. I recommend this dealership.

They do great work. The service managers are very nice people, very considerate. But it always takes much longer than they tell you. Yesterday I decided to wait for my new battery and it was over 2 hours. Big mistake on my part. If they had been honest about the time, I would have taken their free shuttle back and forth instead of waiting there.

All was good. Except at the end. We only received 1 key copy and we were promised a call back the next day to get our second key. It’s been 6 days and I’ve called every day, haven’t gotten to speak with the sales guy or a manager or anyone willing to help us. We’ve left a callback request every day and have gotten Zero response. All of this for a second key I get it, but that second key is $2-400 if we end up having to get it on our own, but it was purchased with the new vehicle. Poor customer service.

Purchased a 2014 Toyota Highlander from Randy S. here at AutoNation Toyota Tempe and had a wonderful experience. Randy was quick to respond and made sure my wife and I were taken care of! He was very busy helping another buyer at the same time that I went in to purchase our vehicle, but he did an excellent job juggling us both and making sure everybody was taken care of and the transactions kept moving forward. I love our car so far, my only complaint really is that the cleaning / detail it was supposed to get before we purchased it was not very good at all, and I was pretty disappointed by that. Nobody wants to feel like they need to go get their car professionally detailed again after purchasing it from a dealer, you want that new car experience. Aside from that though, everything was great about the purchase so far!

The experience was a long one but they helped me get a pretty good rate with fair credit. They also gave me a good deal on my trade in which I was upside down on.I’m annoyed though, I asked the salesman if the 2013 Volkswagen Tiguan I was buying needed premium gas and he told me no. Come to find out, it does! It’s important to use premium gas if the vehicle is supposed to use it. I don’t know if the previous owner used premium and if not what damage may have already been done. I feel like I was lied to and would expect a salesman, who’s been in car sales for over 20 years, would know that.It’s been over a week now since I bought the car and I haven’t gotten any correspondence yet on how to make my payments. I was given a 3 month or 4K mile warranty which I was happy about though.I would probably go back for my next car but would be more cautious about the answers to my questions. Had I known about needing to use premium gas I probably would have kept looking for a different vehicle.UPDATE:So it had been 2 weeks since I bought my car and I still didn’t have my loan information AND my previous loan hadn’t been paid off yet. I called Auto Nation and spoke with the woman who put my loan together and she said she couldn’t find it! She promised to call me back by the end of the day but didn’t. I called the next day and left a message to call me back but heard nothing. I called again a few days later (I was working) and demanded that the GM call me back on Wednesday (today) and still nothing. My 3 star review is now a one star. I will keep you posted!

The actual service of car was excellent as always, and the service writers courteous and helpful. But since my previous service visits AutoNation Toyota has changed the procedure for checking out and paying. While sitting in the waiting room I was on my phone working and received a message from my service representative, I went up to the cashier site and was told to go outside to his office so I walk across the departing cars to get to an empty office, and since theres about 16 cars waiting on a service representative no one is sitting in the offices. What a ridiculous process! Finally the service representative came back, grabbed my paperwork and led me back to the cashier office where he took my payment.

I’ve been coming to Tempe Toyota for over 20 years. My family and I have all purchased multiple cars here through the years.Today I came in for an oil change and née brakes. I always see Randy Scott in the service department. He is always so kind, professional and has a lot of great knowledge of Toyota’s in general. I always call ahead to make sure he is working in a day when I bring my car in because I know I can trust him. That’s just a big thing for me as I’m sure it is with most. He just gives the beat customer service from beginning to end.

This location provided very poor customer service for my oil change yesterday. Compared to my other visits, this time there was No courtesy call for service being done only a text message. No initiative to recommend services based on check. When I arrived at the counter to pay I was told to go search for my service advisor to collect my paperwork only to not be found and no one offering to assist. What location tells a customer to go in the Arizona heat, wait and find your advisor. Highly doubt they were busy as plenty of people just standing around and no new customers waiting. When I was finally offered help I then still had to go back inside to turn in paperwork and pay. What is the point of searching for my advisor when it is just to collect and walk back to pay. Never had to do so much and waste so much time for them to take my money. The only good experience was when I went to the parts counter, the employee there was very kind and answered all my questions.

Took my vehicle there to get serviced. Doug was such a great advisor and really did well to get a competitive price for my repair. Repair went fast and vehicle is up and running! No funny business. Service advisor was deceitful with pricing and service director required micromanaging and continuous followup to gain resolution. Theyre all great at returning phone calls when they think you are going to give them money but when it comes to resolving an issue they are quick to ghost. Advisor failed to honor a discount and did it in a very deceitful manner. Verbally communicated that they applied the discount and quoted a price. Price on invoice matched what they quoted, but a closer review revealed they did not apply the discount as stated. Took over a week in multiple phone calls plus an in person visit to resolve. Definitely do not recommend.

I’m mad very mad about everything. The car I have got is already back in the shop and they gave me a car with little cracks in the window. Um it sits low to the ground I noticed the body of the car is covering the tires looks dangerous. I want my money back and my trade on car unless someone there can find me a better car . I put to much money into this car to be worried about it . It rattles when I drive it on the drivers side .I need someone from corporate to teach out to me.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the vehicle inventory. Most of your vehicles were downsized options of luxury cars. Also, the wait time for paperwork finalization was extensive. It seems to be quicker to apply online directly through a dealership; however, I appreciate the opportunity to do business despite not having a job {being employed}. I realize dealerships take chances when extending credit with the possibility that repayment {recourse} isn’t realized. and/or guaranteed. I look forward to hopefully securing a financial business deal.

I was sold a ‘oil change package’ when I purchased as well as a ‘maintenance package’. Both were extremely expensive and would not have bought except truck was for daughter going out of state to college (LSU). I was told it would be valid at ‘any Toyota dealership nationwide’. It turns out that is not the case. Only good at AutoNation dealership which, you guessed it, they have no locations in Baton Rouge… or Louisiana for that matter. Oil Change Package is basic oil change you can get anywhere, but at over inflated Dealership prices. Any ‘extras’ (air filter-$75, cabin air filter-$55, etc) were additional. Service was quoted as 1-1.5 hrs, so I waited. 2.5 hrs later, I inquired what was taking so long and ‘they were just finishing up’. My truck was up within 5 min. Basically, I would guess somewhere the paperwork got put in a stack and I was forgotten about.

I was there 10/03/2021. I wanted to buy a vehicle in transit. They said okay to my deal but then i brought up that i had a POA for my deployed husband, they said we dont accept that. I said okay, can you do an e-sign document through email to him so he can sign. He said we dont do that either which i literally work for autonation, they can do BOTH of those things. Then the finance manager threatened to come in to my store and talk to my GM. I laughed in his face because he thought he scared me. The finance manager was justin. Ive also seen the sales manager treat his employees like complete trash too. He almost made one of the sales girls cry last time i was there. I cant believe the poor service i got! How could they treat a military family like that?? It does not matter that i work for autonation, my manager does everything they can for military families but this one treated us like garbage and acted like i didnt know what i was talking about

While some aspects of purchasing a car from here were fine, what brings the score down for me is the utter failure to deliver my car in a timely manner, while giving me incorrect information on when it would be available.I understood the evening I purchased it that it needed to be detailed, but was unable to get any information until 2 the next afternoon regarding availability, which then branched from merely needing detailed to now needing brakes and an oil change. At this point I am still driving my trade in, which I had already signed over to the dealership since they did not have the ability to give me a loaner.Sure, I can see it potentially needing the work, since it was a recent acquisition, but that should have been made clear the night before when I signed papers. In addition, based on discussions I had with the sales person and others there, it seems like the process to prepare it to give to me didnt likely get started until after 1pm that (next) day, instead of putting it in the queue in the morning. Since the information I had originally been given was that it was going to just need a 2 hour detailing, and because I did not wish to risk damage to my trade-in, I took the day off work to be ready, only to have done it needlessly.Then, when the end of the day came around and the vehicle still wasnt ready, I still could not get a confirmed time, and so we moved to the NEXT day, with me still driving the car I traded to them. And let me tell you, driving around a car whose value was part of my down payment on a car I had purchased is rather uncomfortable due to the risks involved.On that day I was not able to get any sort of idea as to availability of the car until it was finally finished late afternoon and I was able to come in and finally take possession.Finding a vehicle, great.Finance, great.Lack of correct or complete information on delivery/taking possession, total failure.44+ hours to finally take possession of the car that had started on the dealership lot, didnt have to be shipped, and being told the only delay was a 2 hour detailing? Abject failure.Regardless if the poor information was accidental or deliberate, it has definitely told me never to do business with this branch of AutoNation ever again. I cannot trust them to tell me the full and accurate truth.Side note. When you start sending your automated emails to me after purchase, and I click on the unsubscribe button, the generally accepted next step is to take me off the mailing list, not continue to send me emails. In this situation it is like salt in the wound with you showing you clearly dont care about my preferences in addition to not caring about getting me the car I purchased.

I was grateful for Amy’s over-all knowledge of the cars my family looked at. She had facts about various cars and understood my family’s needs after carefully listening to what we wanted in a vehicle. Our experience here started off very positive when we were looking to buy a car. Everyone was nice and our sales person was helpful and very accommodating. We didn’t have time to sit and go through the entire car buying process so we paid a $500 deposit to hold the car and had plans to return the next morning. Sadly, overnight we had second thoughts and decided it wasn’t the right time for us. So we called and they said they would refund our deposit but it’s now been close to 10 days since we paid this deposit and we still haven’t received it. This review is more a review on the poor communication and follow through we’ve had on this matter. There has been zero sense of urgency and everyone is giving us the runaround. Every time I call and email the finance department or leave a voicemail no one answers or returns my calls/emails. I’ve had to resort to communicating with our sales rep who tells us so and so Is “looking into the matter”but then went home early or had a family matter to attend to. Whatever the case has been it’s all been met with zero follow up or communication. I’m not really sure what else to do at this point because nobody seems to care so hopefully the poor review rating will get a higher ups attention to help to expedite this process.

The service itself was timely and done correctly as far as I can tell. But getting there was an entirely different story. I had an APPOINTMENT. Doesnt that mean they should be expecting to see my car to arrive? I sat in the check in line no less than 30 minutes waiting for someone to speak to me. The check-in dudes just kept walking past. I assumed they werent assigned to me. I finally opened my window and asked and the response was I didnt think anyone was in the car. Seriously? Then it took another 10 minutes for my advisor to appear. When I made the appointment, I also set another meeting with a business associate at a coffee shop about a mile away. So had planned on taking the shuttle there and back. The shuttle was 15 minutes late. Needless to say, I was very late to my appointment. The shuttle was on time to take me back to the dealership. The service was done. But I had to wait 15 minutes for my advisor to appear and another 10 for the valet to appear.

Delt with Rodney from used car sales. I was interested in a used vehicle and he was great at first until he realized the vehicle was going to get wholesaled and he became very hesitant to respond about the vehicle after I specifically asked him when meeting with him in person if the vehicle was going to get wholesaled and he told me it was not and that I was the first one to look at it. Anyone who is trying to buy a used car or truck right now at a decent price knows it is very difficult because the market is full of way overpriced and over mileage vehicles so this experience is very frustrating after being lied to straight to my face and after he let me know it was being wholesaled by text he wanted nothing to do with me so thanks Rodney keep up the great work!

After speaking with my Dad again, I went out of the way to see Amy. What a complete different experience. She was kind, patient, LISTENED, and knew more than the other salesman at the other dealerships. Much more helpful than “go out there and take a picture of the one you want”. Fantastic dealership. There are many factors that make a dealership great. In this case it’s how they responded to a mistake they made. I had a deal worked out for a truck only to find out at the end that it was already sold. I was definitely not happy to say the least. Instead of telling me there’s nothing they can do, Kenneth went to work to find me another one. I was particular to a certain color and he got me into a slightly more expensive one at the agreed price we already had. In a time where new vehicles are scarce and flying off the shelves, Ken and this dealership decided to do what’s best for me. We all make mistakes, it’s how you respond to them that separates the good from the bad. Autonation Toyota of Tempe definitely chose the good path.

We didnt buy that day but was well taken care of by Jesus Garcia. There was no pressure to buy and was allowed to test drive a car Ive had my eye on for awhile. If I could give negative stars I absolutely would. Do not go here. We had brought in our cars to trade in for a new truck. The salesperson (Andres) told us our trade in offer and what the final price for the vehicle we wanted would be (which we were absolutely excited and ok about), but then brought us inside where we saw the price of what we’d owe was $7000 dollars over what was originally stated. When we questioned Andres about this and said he intentionally misled us, he just flat out told us to leave. I asked to speak to the manager, but he wouldn’t give us the time of day so we just cut our losses and left. Clearly this is their game to see how much more they can get you to pay. Not only terrible customer service, but rude in general. Like I said, do not buy a car from them.

Service ok but do not like the lines when arriving. If someone has an appointment they should not have to wait to get signed in.Need more lanes or separate lanes for appointments vs Drive ups. Also took over an hour just to rotate tires and do check of vehicle.Either need more service techs or change the way an incoming vehicle is handled.if things do not change on next visit will look for another dealership to purchase cars and get service.

Horrible place to go they treat you like garbage and do not care about you. I went around around 6:00, credit was checked and was waiting for finance for my vehicle, was waiting for almost 2 hours to be told go home we will call you tomorrow since everyone wants to go home. Also I explicitly said to only run my credit through Toyota financial, then to realize the following morning that they had run my credit over 8 times to banks i did not want to do business with. Good luck trying to get a hold of someone as my poor excuse of a salesperson Kasey does not answer my phone calls or messages and when i call the dealership directly and get transfer to finance it goes to voicemail.

I started my car buying process at the beginning of the week without exactly knowing what car I wanted. Kassandra asked all the right questions to help navigate my process to the car I am in now and LOVE!! I put her through the ringer asking to look at Nissan, and then Jeep, and then Toyota, etc. She never got frustrated with me being all over the place but continued to help me find the car that was going to fit all my needs and desires. Nicole was the finance manager that also helped me and I am so grateful for her! She went above and beyond to get me an incredible interest rate and a warranty that made me feel safe buying a 15 year old car. Wow. Disappointed with my routine service visit. Normally, the service advisor -- if he or she finds an issue -- will consult with me before simply finishing my appt., giving me the option of whether or not Id like these other items found during inspection tended to or not. But at checkout of my visit I was informed of all of these other things that were found but not attended to, nor offered. I asked, When can I get these done? I was told that Id have to schedule another appointment. The facility was NOT busy at all, and there was no reason why these items couldnt have been handled that day. Disappointed. Plus ... no more donuts for waiting customers? How cheap can you folks be?

Highly recommend buying at Autonation Toyota Tempe. I just purchased a new SUV and the experience there was top notch, from walking in to driving off with my new vehicle. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and helped. Highly recommend seeing Alex Boyle in Sales if you need help purchasing a vehicle. This guy knew his stuff and answered every question I had and more. I never felt pressured into buying. And while he was helping me, he took the time out to make sure every other customer we walked by was being helped. During the test drive, he completely floored me with all his knowledge of the vehicle I was in (2021 RAV4). That helped make up my mind before we arrived back in the lot. Super easy, no pressure used car purchase. Ryan OReilly was friendly and informative, and Michael Miller helped with creative financing to get us on our way. Very satisfied with our experience at AutoNation Toyota. UPDATE: My mechanic also loves the car, but noticed a 3-year-old AAA battery. The nice folks at Toyota explained that the battery passed their 125-point inspection and despite acknowledging that batteries generally last two years here in Arizona, would not replace it on their dime. May I suggest a 126th inspection point for your loyal Arizona customers?
