Great service, fast and friendly

My husband and I were in Temecula for the day celebrating our anniversary. We wanted to find a nail salon not too far from old town and I was a little hesitant at first given the star ratings, but oh my gosh, was it wonderful! We both got the luxury pedicures that were amazingly relaxing.The place was covid clean and staff were professional and welcoming. Give it a try, we’ll definitely be back!!!

Got a manicure with gel polish and a pedicure. I had long natural nails and wanted to change the shape of them (oval to coffin), so there was a lot of filing involved. I was a bit scared during the filing but luckily none of my nails broke and I walked out with nails I was pretty happy with, though my curicles were pretty sore from the filing for the removal of the polish i had on when I came in. A week or two later one of my nails did break, but I cant say if the manicure had anything to do with it. All in all the manicure was ok, but I think Im going to keep doing my own nails in the near future.The pedicure was nice and worth the money.

The staff is friendly and helpful and I always walk away happy with my nails and toes. Great selection of colors Salon & tools are clean. Prices are very reasonable esp for how good of a job they do. Highly recommend!Thanks Kim .

Had an apt for two mani and two pedis and two walk-ins got seated before me. I waited about 20 minutes to be seated and wasnt even sat with my guest I brought to show the salon to. My nails are crooked as all hell and it took over 2 hours because everyone was more concerned with being social. She charged me $5 to shape my nails and they arent straight with my fingers or nails. One side of the nail has an angle and the other side is straight !!??? Never going here again .

They always make your nails beautiful and they can do any design or shape that you want. I highly recommend going there! I absolutely love this place! Will forever go there.Thanks Salon!

Hot Stone Pedicure = amazing!

I was there today. I was very happy with the work done on my nails, and the lady who worked on my pedicure was friendly and tried hard to make sure I was comfortable. She even helped me decide what color to pick as I was having a hard time choosing.I have only one MAJOR concern and that is with the sanitizing (or lack of) practices that were observed on the nail implements used, and because of this - I will not return to this facility.As I sat in my chair getting my own pedicure, I watched the nail lady in chair #9 clean-up after her client as she was done with the lady. She BLEW the dust off the toe nail clippers and metal implements and put them BACK into her little case.(each technician seems to have their own individual cases) she also put the dirty implements BACK into what seemed to be paper wrapping that CLEANED implements are supposed to come OUT OF. These then went back into her case. This is HIGHLY unsanitary and I know her implements were not cleaned before the next customer. Cutting/nail implements are to be cleaned between each customer before each use!!!! The salon is extremely busy, and at no time did I see any sort of cleaning done between customers of nail implements. the wash basins where you soak your feet were cleaned but cutting/nail implements were not properly disinfected or sanitized. I know this because I watched her start on another client!!!! I am just making people aware that this practice happens - and unfortunately due to this - I will not return to the salon. The ladies were fantastic, but cleanliness routines - shady!

I just got my nails done here for the first time and I loved it! The people are very nice and the guy was very gentle with my hands. I havent had acrylics in years and was expecting them to be a little swore after but no they feel great! He also gave me the prettiest design on my ring figures that I cant stop looking at! Over all great experience and decent prices I will be going back many more times!!

We went here the day before our wedding so everyone in the wedding party could get manicures/pedicures. We made an appointment for 8 people and, when we arrived, it was very clear that they forgot about us. We made this appointment one month in advance and even called to confirm the week before. It took 3 hours for everyone to get done what they needed. And the worst part is that they did a terrible job. The girls had crooked nails and most of the acrylic nails fell off within a week. The ONLY good thing about this place is the guy. He did my wifes acrylic nails and they have lasted over 2 weeks and were done correctly. Unless you get the guy, dont waste your time or money.

I have never left a bad review on any site in my entire life- but I can’t let anyone else be done as terribly as I was here. My acrylics are absolutely awful, I can’t even look at them right now without getting mad anxiety because they truly look so terrible, like they belong on a 13 year old child that did them herself. My nails are all OBVIOUSLY different lengths for one, I asked for a simple HEART and it looks like a preschooler doodled it- I asked for her to redo it and it looked even worse so I didn’t ask again because I realized she was just incapable. One nail is completely lopsided, COMPLETELY, like a slide. I asked for a specific length and she filed them so much because she kept messing up by making them lopsided and now they are NOWHERE near the length I wanted- and I cannot stand short acrylics on myself. Now after all this I have to go somewhere else tomorrow, have them all ripped off and have someone do it right for me. You get what you pay for. If I could attach a picture of the picture I told her I wanted EXACTLY and a picture of the nails she did, you would all feel so sorry for me and run out the shop. Do. Not. Come. Here.

Love their service and theyre prices are fair. My husband and I planned to have a trip in this town and to have a little wine tasting. I just found this place from the internet. They have great services and friendly workers there. I really had a very relaxing experience. Highly recommend!!

Quick, clean, a good place to go if youre on a budget. A basic, basic Mani is just $10 plus tip and they do a great job. Their spa packages with Mani/pedi options are why I go, and the chairs are comfy and massage well.

Ive been going to the same salon for 5 years, but when I finally decided to get gel, they came off after 4 days. Disappointed, I left and searched for a new salon, and best city nails took care of me. They dont rush, and they make sure you are well taken care of. Nina is amazing, and I wont go to anyone else but her. My gel lasts more than 3 weeks without any chips, and Im a busy woman! Definitely recommend coming here!

Always loved going here, but when I tried to get an appointment with Mike I was told he was on vacation. Then I read a review and it said Mike moved to the Best City Nails II, because this one was sold. My experience was not good with the new owners, and I am glad I found Mike again.

If I could give them no star I would got my pedicure done in May and they removed my ingrown on my big toe. The Way the cut it was crooked and on top of that the hurt my toe with the things they use to remove it. Couple days later the side on where they took it out got infected!!! I tried to get rid of the infection my self but i couldn’t. Had to go to the dr and get it removed bc of it!!! I’m never going back here again! They need to disinfect there tools!! Do not get your pedicure here!!!!

I went to Best City Nails for eyelash extentions with Kristy and had a great experience. They said she was on vacation when I called for a fill and gave me someone else they said was great. She was awful. Uneven and lashes are falling out less than a week later. Kristy was great but she is gone; no wonder. I wont be going back again.

My friend went here yesterday (04April2017) and had the WORST experience. The lady doing her nails turned out terrible and the service was completely unsatisfactory. Lady was disrespectful and threatened to call the cops when my friend wanted to stop the manicure and leave because of the terrible service.Highly recommend finding a different salon to have your nails done unless youre looking to make your day worse. Youre better off having your daughter/sister/mother/grandmother do your nails!If I could, Id leave this post with 0 stars because they dont even deserve 1.

I used to go here all the time and get my nails done. It was good at first, and I would recommend them all the time. ( I work at a nearby hotel) but the last few times I have turned to dislike this place. I had requested a simple nail design on my nails, after lots of confusion and elapsed time, I left very unsatisified. my nail designs were expensive but very sloppy! I told the lady (nicely) to fix some things, and although she was nice she wasnt very cooperative. I had already been then an absurd amount of time, and I was ready to go. I paid and left, the very next day I came in and explained the situation, and how I didnt like how they turned out, and that I would just like to repaint the two designed nails. ( just normal designs, no studs or a anything) the man said specifically well we wont do it for free and charged me $7.00 for a repaint on 3 nails! after I had paid $10.oo the day before for a crappy design! I was pretty bummed, but paid and left. I hadnt been back since, but had been getting some recent complaints from hotel guests that I had been referring there (a lot) and made me not want to come back. Recently, my manager came down and she offered to get my nails done with me. She goes to best city nails. I got my toes done, the end result was okay, but they tacked on $3.00 dollars extra on my pedicure just for using blue on one foot and pink on the other! no design! since when is that? I couldnt believe it, it was only $3.00 but still. Not to mention, 2 days later my paint is dang near all the way chipped off, after no vigorous activity! I dont know whats going on here, but I will not return, nor will I refer my guests here!!!

Over crowded salon, terrible terrible customer service. The lady who did my nails spoke such little english she didnt understand me asking for a different color. She repeatedly wiped her nose with her hand and continued working.. which was gross.

Its a good place with good prices but I dont like how much they pressure customers into paying more for extras even if you say no and how they pressure customers into tiping more.

I went in for a full set and a pedicure one afternoon. My pedicure turned out well, but it was definitely not worth 40 dollars. When it comes to my manicure, the manicurist grew ruder and ruder as time went on. She asked me if I wanted my cuticles cut, which ended up being an extra 5 dollars, which she didnt tell me about until she was halfway through. When I asked for a nude shade, she gave me a pink, and said she picked it for my skin tone. As she got ruder with speaking to me, like I mentioned above, she started getting more aggressive with pulling my hand toward her to file, and started clipping my cuticles too far, etc.Not related to me, but I saw a woman come in wanting a re-color, and they said it was going to be 20 dollars. She left from that price being ludicrous, and once she was out the door, the employees began gossiping about her. Highly unprofessional.

I have been going here for the past 4 years I was at a party and asked a friend were she had her nails done she told me Best City Nails so I went and they are the BEST!!! I go to Mike only I have been to so many places all over Temecula and was never happy... I also have my mom going to Mike as well and my mom is very fussy and picky about her nails as so am I... I would not go any were else to have my nails done but here...

I told the lady with short brown hair that I only wanted to cut my nails a little shorter than the original length and she cut them all off. Her hand also kept slipping while using the file machine and cut my skin. After she advised me to file down my actual skin and asked me if that was okay. I strictly said no many times and she still did it. I dont understand how can I get my point across. She was beyond rude and did not listen to me. The moment I realized I was done with her was when she was filing my nails very crooked. After that I told them I wanted a different person. The next lady did not even know her own products. I told her I wanted a blush pink and she said it was a mood changing color, forcefully advising me to go against what I wanted. Her efforts were useless because she told me they didnt have that color after all. I decided to leave after the series of poor treatment I received, they wanted to charge me and refused to let me leave without paying. They even threatened to call the police. Their service was absolutely horrible and I would highly encourage you to go elsewhere.

HORRIBLE! They gave me a menu & i chose the mani pedi for $25... I decided to add gel to my nails but no fake nails & the total price came out to be over 60 bucks! They overcharge & its not even worth it! Ive been to cheaper & better nail salons than this one! My best friend also gave them a pic of what nail polish she wanted before they did her nails & they told her they HAVE it. Come to find out, they lied! They did her nails completely wrong & only gave her a $5 discount from her total amount of $65!!! That was my first & LAST experience there! I recomend everyone to please save your MONEY & go somewhere else!!!!!

Horrible experience! I went for eyelashes and nails. The First Lady that tried got eyelash glue in my eye within the first 4 minutes, I got up and told her I changed my mind because my eye was on fire! My eye was tearing up and it was really hard for me to keep it open. I got up and started wiping my eye, the wonder got called and she told me the First Lady was new and sent in another lady who was on her lunch break. I told her it was ok that I could wait til she was done but she insisted on going my eyelashes. She took over 3 hours to do them and it was the worst experience of my life( aside from labor lol). She kept on getting my top and bottom lashes stuck together and the glue would go in my eye. I was miserable I couldnt stop my eyes from crying. When she was finally done she claimed the stinging would only last a little until the glue dried but she was wrong!! I kept on telling her that it wasnt normal, Ive gotten eyelash extensions at other places in San Diego and never once did my eyes sting! I got my nails done afterwards and my eyes continued to cry. I told her my eyes were burning and she told me she didnt wanna hear it. She then accused me of going there before and leaving without paying? Wth! I have never in my life been there, I took leave to get my eyelashes done and it was the only place available. My eyes continued to get worse, I didnt even let her finish my nails. She said I was exaggerating and that its my fault my eyes hurt because Im not use to the eyelashes. She said the pain was normal. Ive gotten them done at 2 places in San Diego and 4 times overseas and never once did my eyes sting or burn. My eyelashes arent even at all! The picture I took right now shows how uneven they are. My eye still burns and my only goal is to get them off now! The owner was extremely disrespectful! I went to the restroom to clean my hands and try to wash my eyes and not only was there no hand soap at all, but the bathroom had 3 cockroaches on the floor! The room where my eyelashes were done was dirty, it smelled of sewage. I will never ever go back again, And I dontRecommend this place to anyone! I shouldve left when I had the chance.They charged me over 100$ for my eyelashes and my nails, I called the police dept and they said it would be best to pay them go to the emergency room and sue them. I went to my truck and called my husband crying hysterically because everything was blurry and i was in pain every time my eyes were open. I went to the er, my eyes are infected. I have reported them to the BBB.

Been coming here for ten years. Since the 8th grade. Today i will never be going back. Heard mutiple customers ask why they havent been able to book with their favorite. Hes not in today or shes not in today is what they respond when asked. They seem unable to keep anything managed. The man doing my nails stopped more then 15 times to sit other people and answer the phone mutiple times. I understand thats how you keep a business, But maybe not so much when you are in the middle of painting someones nails. This is after the fact he cut me from being in such a rush mutiple times. The paint job then looked like a 3 year old painted them. I had enough and told him. Walked right out. Called Ken at best city nails II. Turns out they sold it. Thats why they are telling clients that their favorite employees are on Vacation. Instead of being honest about buying the business out. So for those who are wondering were your nail tech went, Hwy 79 Best city nails II. I went back in let them know i know the place was sold will be getting taking my money back. Lost my business. Dishonest & rude.

Ive been doing my nails for over 10 years and I have not been so pleased with any other place. I moved away, but I still drive to Temecula to get my nails done. Oh and there is hardly ever a wait =)

The fist few visits I would have rated this salon 5 stars but as time has gone on service has gotten worse and worse. I went for a pedicure they sat me in a pedi chair and the tech said she would be right back but noone returned for 45 min. Im very reasonable and if they would have just let me know i would have understood but it wasnt until i stood to leave someone approach me. After several unsatisfactory visits i returned with my daughter for one more chance ( mainly because i hate looking for another place to go. We were both getting acrylic fills. All my nails were lifting and I pointed out all the places and asked that he please remove the lifted areas. He completely ignored my request and went about a normal fill. One of my nails actually broken off so he had to replace it and once he was done fixing it I look down and it was pointing sideways and I asked him if he would please fix it and all he told me was all thats how your nail grows. Hu no its not. He never fixed it. Once i paid and tipped my daughter showed me her nails and they were noticeably lumpy. Not the professional job i paid for. Long short we wont be returning. Plus the review from Tracy lynn is 100% accurate.
