A bit intimidating if you are there for the first time but there are folks around who can direct you. The first thing you do is roll up on the scale when it is your turn in line and hand the attendant your drivers license and utility bill if you are a resident. He or she takes you license which will be kept until you exit on the other side of the scale house on the second scale. The attendant gives you a receipt and you follow the signs for residential dumping. Pull around and wait for an attendant to motion you over to the bay to back up and dump your rubbish. On the way out you get your license and pay if you are dumping construction materials or other materials that you must pay to dump.

The City of Tampa is doing a great job in this facility.

Dumping takes time and only 2 people can dump at a time that are dumping building materials or appliances and furniture. If you are only dumping yard wastes and limbs 4 or 5 people can dump at a time. Ive noticed depending on the help customers bring with them depends on how smoothly things run. Workers who attend and direct the flow of customers arent always there to lend a hand. Its up to others in line behind someone whos struggling to help. Good luck.

Its a dump...so no big expectations. However the Barney Fife security/traffic director that was on duty 4/3/18 seemed to have an itchy trigger finger. watched his interaction with others ahead of me inline and was entertained. Until I also became a target of his Napoleon ego. BAD idea to put a gun in that guys hands!

No wait, straight to drop off and right out the fence with no wait. Have your trash prepared properly and you wont have any issues!

I live in a condo downtown and was told I could not use this facility because I do not have a water bill. Excuse me, I use city water and pay city taxes. What cant I use city services?

Wait times are rediculious everybody that works there do a poor job besides the security guard. Needs a lot of inprovement

Too strict and took forever this is not a cost effective way to dispose of junk

Terrible customer service, very long wait times and inconvinient.

I know this is a dump but the wait times are outrages there has to be a better system that could be in place at the end of the day we are paying to dump even if it is trash this is bad customer service

Needs work very over grown and trees that have fallen over trails it could be nice, a lot of potential but its just not there, unless u just want to sit there and read a book, and the air smells bad but youll get use to it
