It was our 1st time going there. From the young man that answered the phone to the associates that assisted us a the facility......awesome. The gentlemen that were at the yard-brush dump site were in good spirits. Smiles on their faces and light-hearted interactions with customers. Definitely would visit again. Thank you.

Actually 1/2 a star!!!! First thing in the morning and had to wait an hour in line. Wait in line just to find out that The office sent us to the wrong side, found out as we were backing up to dump. Had to go back through the line just to go to the other side of the building and wait again in another line and dump right were we just came from! Same exact spot!! And then go sit in yet ANOTHER line to leave. It really shouldnt take 4 hrs to dump 1 trailer. Ridiculous

A great resource for residents of Tampa. Didnt have to wait long going in or coming out.

Usually fairly quick and clean but definitely slow on Saturday mornings.

It does not take a rocket scientist to check people out at mckay Bay in under 5 minutes Ive been waiting in line for a little over 20 minutes and Ive watched and timed the check out line takes 7 minutes for one vehicle ridiculous

Went to unload a few things. Cashiers are so incredibly slow, Id swear they were walking backwards. Also the worker that waived us in to FINALLY dump our stuff had ZERO communication skills and EXTREMELY unprofessional. Sat there for 20 minutes not even knowing if he saw us, couldve easily came to inform us they were going to be that long. The unnecessary comments he made almost resulted in a fight. Disgusted. Is this the best workers you could find?

Terrible place to go to dump debris. They’re very slow and let there own workers cut the line while you wait hours to dump and pay. Unprofessional and will never come back.

It sounds crazy, but I love this place! I go a couple of times a year and am always impressed by the whole operation. Im truly thankful we have such an amazing facility in our communotu. Just show your drivers license or proof of county residence and you can dispose of old appliances, mattresses, yard waste, etc. for a very small fee per pound. (Your vehicle is weighed as you enter, then weighed again as you leave - the difference is the difference is the basis of your bill.) After leaving the disposal center, I stop at the nature trail that abuts the north edge of the property (look for the entrance on your right just before Adamo) and go for a lovely walk (no kidding!).

Always great customer service very polite and its very quick to get in and out normally unless there was a holiday.

The worst customer service experience ever!!!! Long wait, rude people made us go back home for a recent bill because their system was down...

I come to this dump 4 to 5 times a week and I wait over 2 hours each time it’s ridiculous they need to come up with a new system!!

Tho the wait was a bit. The staff was all nice. Just have patience and be kind.

Not happy at all with this place. I have been here before with a decent out come. Today was horrible. What should have been a 30 minute or less in and out time was actually a one hour forty five minute joke. Something should be done to speed up this process. 👎

There is a black girl at the window that she need to be more polite with the people she has a really bad attitude the rest is bery nice

THE GOOD - easy to dump items, friendly staff, cheapTHE BAD - The wait is painfully long, ~30 mins to get in with 10 cars ahead of me, another ~15 to get out with 4-5 cars ahead of me (I arrived around 12:45 on a Weds). Also got a nail in my tire from a piece of debris that wasnt fully swept into the loading bayI guess you get what you pay for, but boy was it frustrating to deal with this place.

Tuesday is the best day to drop off waste. Weekends they do their best to get you in/out as quick as possible, but still plan on spending an hour

Organization is a lot better here than years past. Staff is friendly and charges are prorated.

I guess they expect to inconvenience the homeowner by making them ride in the dump truck of the workers with their drivers license and credit card. I have better things to do with my time than go to the trash dump I can pay people to do that. 0 rotten tomatoes for you🥴

You weigh in, you dump your trash, return to the scales and pay the fee. Its a dump. A well tended dump, but a dump just the same.

Customer service was perfect and all of the representatives we contacted were all very kind.

If I have something to tell about this place is that the people who work here are very friendly and that’s the reason why the public system works. Simple Congrats too everyone that works in here...

Its hard to imagine another establishment on earth run as inefficiently as this one. Maybe the space program. But thats it. Seriously you guys have one job, to facilitate the movement of trash.

Dont go here if youre in a hurry. Give yourself at least 2hrs. FYI, ONLY water bills get you in to dump free of charge. Without it you have to pay to dump, especially if its construction material.There is no employee to help you dump, it is SELF dump...cant tell you how many people go there and wait for assistance and hold up the line. If you cant do it alone, bring a helper, it also makes it go faster. Security guy does help get the lines to leave out faster sometimes. 4 out of 5 because the limited space for dumping makes it take forever.

Rude staff the person that was doing the check in was so rude and unprofessional and treated each question as if I was inconveniencing him because he showed up for work today as far as The dumping process went very smooth so as long as you dont have questions you should be fine.

The girl on the phone gave me the wrong info. I was told to bring any utility bill when i arrived at the scale I was told they only accept tampa water bill as a form of a utility bill. I called back to complain and i got a whole other explanation. These people have to get it together.
