I live Mercer Crossing in Dallas Texas. Multiple times have they been late or not picked up trash!

Love the service! Never had any problems with missed trash or violations, 2 bags a night with no liquids and carry your own trash on the weekends.. Pretty simple guidelines if you ask me..

Pretty on point. I was fortunate enough to only be owed 50$ but it took me calling and calling. Now I get no response at all. Nick is by far a big fibber and not to be trusted on pay amounts and times. Beware!!

Not normally one to write poor reviews, but the lack of communication is very unprofessional and that is what Waste Away LLC seems to be most known for. We have them servicing one of our properties in Phoenix and have had numerous complaints from our residents that service was not being rendered. The company would never send nightly reports, so we were unable of knowing what was actually going on and whether it was the residents fault or the service. We FINALLY get ahold of our area manager after sending in numerous emails and texts to figure out what is going on, and so they schedule a meeting. When the area manager arrives for this meeting, we end up waiting 45 minutes after service is supposed to start just for the team they have scheduled to QUIT and say that he is not going to be servicing our property anymore because they always pick up the trash - although the area manager specifically told us that at our property their team had no idea of being able to clock into the app.... so how would you track your team and know they are here?Now its been two weeks since weve discontinued service with them, and have yet to hear how we are supposed to give them their trash cans back. Called 4x times and have not received a response, and anytime I try to call they say the person I need to speak to is on the phone.Completely unprofessional.

Wow, this company is by far the best. They will go above and beyond to insure great service to all of our properties!! They are a spectacular team to work with! We would highly recommend this company!!!

Terrible company. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT PAY THEIR CONTRACTOR|EMPLOYEES . THE will Lie about due to COVID-19 the post office is slow and come to find out they never mailed the check. I know a person that have missed two pay roll checks ( they are on there way per management) OH yeah was told if you quit without given your two weeks and working those two weeks, the company will KEEP that first check that you put in a hold. There has to be laws that are being broken here

Inconsistent service at the Quarter at Ybor Condos in Tampa. As of this review, no garbage has been collected for at least 3 days since 1/7/2020. We are supposed to have garbage collection 5 days every week, but within last 2 years the service has declined. In recent months, many days are skipped/overlooked. This company gets a lot of money from the HOA’s residents. Consider other options for trash valet services!!!

I see a lot of negative complaints. One main reason for the bad service is that this company does not pay their contractors/employees. They promise an amount to be paid and then never send out a check. So the person servicing the account gets fed up and stops working. Nick Dowell is a liar and always has the lousiest excuses for not paying. Since the properties this company services does not know how Nick is a scam artist they contract the company and then receive bad service.

This company does an awful job collecting trash in the community I live in. Inconsistent service skipping many days at a time. Was told by a neighbor that collector wasnt showing up because the company had not paid him. Truly a shame for a company to do that to someone who probably doesn’t make much to begin with. If you are considering this company for your complex please look elsewhere.

This company is by far the worst company to work for the supervisors don’t know how to treat their employees no wonder they never keep anyone for long, as a former employee I hope people see this and run the opposite way they are plenty companies that provide the same service but are not as unprofessional as this one. If I could I would leave 0 stars

This company is by far the worst trash service. My community currently uses them and we are just waiting until the end of our contract. They dont consistently pick up, they have ruined my breezeways and are very unresponsive to issues. Nick has been the worst rep I have EVER dealt with. This is your warning... they may be on the cheaper side, but you really get what you pay for with this company.

Horrible company. They have abused there power of having my apartment complex stuck in a contract with them by skipping pickups weekly. We have demanded refunds of our money for nights they dont do their job and they deny any such requests and continue to skip out on doing their job. My trash sits out all night and causes stray cats and pests to hang around my front door. A warning to all apartment complexes who have an interest in keeping their tenants happy, DO NOT HIRE this company.

They havent picked up my trash for more than a week.most of the time if you have two bags of trash, they will only take one.

My Apartment Complex currently uses this service and it is the worst!!! We are charged monthly for the service and they seldom pick the trash up, and then the tenent is the one who receives a trash violation for trash not picked up!! I have reached out to my apartment leasing office because I realized they had charge me 25 dollars on a few occasions where I know my trash was bagged properly and set out during the designated trash times. I have also tried contacting the service myself regarding the issue and they never call back. Do not use this service.

I would like to hear from Ron or Nick for a response to some of the posts about non payment to contractors? On more than one occasion we have had to beg for payment for services and have given waste away management the benefit of the doubt by believing our checks in the mail. After reading some of these posts I am wondering if we will recieve a check that was told it had been mailed 2 weeks ago and we even verified our address? Is waste away having problems making payrolls?? Managment please respond, the website states contractors serving properties will be paid every 2 weeks?

Another shady Florida company contacted out in Texas.I receive a second notice after never receiving a first notice about liquids in trashcans.First off, I dont dump liquid into my trash, I have a sink for that. Food does have juice, etc.Secondly, their employee didnt pick up my trash for over a week and complains about the smell and having liquids in my trash. Well, if he was doing his job, there wouldnt be much liquid bc my food wouldnt be completely rotten.Trash smells, thats why its called trash. Cat litter and chicken scraps smell God awful, especially when sitting out for almost a week.Their flyer states nothing about liquids in bags anyway, so even if I have put liquids in my trash, its a moot point...

Has anybody taken this company to court yet? They contracted me todo some work and never paid and they owe me a total of 5800$. I am taking them to court to sue. Everyone else i suggest doing the same lets get this company out of business!! Ron Walser the CEO is a scam artist DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY WILL ROB YOU

Spotty service. Service has declined in last year at my condo community.

Terrible company. I pay rent to have my trash sit for days, and when they do come I am awaken at dawn to some guy throwing trash over my banister. And to make matters worse, I get to dodge glass all day because the bags break from the workers shot-putting trash bags off the top floor.
