Awesome place.. really clean and also very relaxing and their attention to detail is amazing.

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! Everyone there is amazing and they pay so much attention to the details of your nails. I love the fact that they play music and really give you a spa feeling. They have so many gel colors, so many it usually takes me forever to pick out one because I love all of them! Ive never been disappointed!

This place has amazing pedicures, along with the chairs are super comfortable.However I did my nails I believe with the owner and to my taste they were too tick. They are really nice. I’m sure other techs there maybe do a better job as far as the owner unfortunately the acrylic nails were too thick.

Loooove this place!! I literally wait like a month or 6 weeks before I go back and my acrylics last the whole time. Never chipped or broke. Also when I have to get them short for school I get dip powder and it looks amazing! Smooth, and thick enough. This will always be my go to place, the wine is a plus.

All I can say is WOW! I was greeted at the door with a temp check and taken in immediately for my pedi. There was hanging plexi glass in between pedi chairs and mani stations and everyone was wearing a mask. Now for the good stuff... their professional massage chairs are AMAZING. Classical music was playing lightly on the speaker while I was getting an almost full body massage from the chair... Honestly I have never felt so relaxed! JT was absolutely awesome! He made sure my Pedi and Gel mani was perfect and was very engaging and sweet. For $55, I would 100% recommend Modern Nails if you are interested in quality nails with an amazing experience! Don’t judge a book by its cover, the inside is clean, modern, and classy! This will definitely be my go-to spot!

I went here to treat myself after being stressed for a while. 1st time here so when I booked my appointment I asked if they can do a certain design/style nail and the response oh, we can do everything here. No, no they cannot.I got there and was seated just a couple minutes after my appointment was scheduled. I opted for the orange pedicure which felt amazing and a gel single color polish came out nice. The chair is a full body massager which is great, when you figure it out.They have plexi glass/plastic in-between you and the tech, they use masks and of course gloves. I watched them sanitize the chairs and tables as well so it seemed safe. Not to mention they sat people apart from one another.I explained to the tech, using a photo and picking out the colors of what I wanted. I did tell her I prefer gel but if another method needed to be used to get the effect I wanted, thatd be fine too. Ended up getting a dip and nowhere near the colors I asked.My tech was nice and I think somewhat inexperienced since she needed to consult a couple different people a couple times. She tried to give me glitter on my nails which I did not want so I asked her to remove it. And ended up with just a simple ambre french nail. (I wanted an ambre but with 2 fall-like colors).It was fine, I was already there for 1hr 15min and it looked nice. I wasnt a big fan on the conversation being had in the shop (COVID-19 related) because Im there to escape/relax/recharge and techs are giving their opinions on how they feel about the current situation.Here I am 1 week after getting it done and they are chipping like crazy. Im not doing anything strenuous or out of the ordinary - they should be lasting much longer.*EDIT: Its been just shy of two weeks and over the last few days my gel nail polish from my pedicure is coming off with no effort on my part. Every pedicure Ive ever had has NEVER come off unwillingly...

I’ve been going to nail salons for years and I’m a very picky customer but I must give great credit when credit is due. This is by far the best salon that I’ve had the privilege to use. I happen to follow Tony on instagram and I’m dazzled by the art work. Ladies do yourselves a favor and stop by this salon and more importantly ask for Tony you will be blown away. He’s the very best.

Although the staff was very friendly, I stopped in for a quick gel finger polish and basic toe polish, no mani/pedi, $35 and my gel polish chipped the very next day, one nail fully peeled the day after, and my toes chipped 2 days following. Wont be back.

Ive been going to Modern Nails for years and Ive never had a bad experience. They always provide amazing customer service and they do a phenomenal job. You get amazing service for what you pay and Ive never left disappointed. Ill never go anywhere else!

I cant say enough about how great this place is. My husband and I visit once a month for pedicures. Sometimes we get the private area behind the curtain which is really nice. The chairs have great massage options and the pedicure treatments are better than any other salon. Cathy and Elijah and the rest of the staff are professional, friendly and always perfectionists! We love the spa menu, too- so many luxurious choices. We will keep coming back!.

This place is the very best in the area. Andy specifically is great at his job. I got the best pedi ever. 2 min after I left, I accidentally damaged the nail polish and he fixed it for me. He was very nice about it. The prices are fair. Ive tried a few other in the area that were slightly less expensive and all I have to say is that you definitely get what you pay for. The atmosphere at this salon is super relaxing and the place is always really clean. I wont go anywhere else.

Even with my barely-there nails they do wonders. When they say 30, 45, or 60 minute pedicure they do NOT disappoint. They are dedicated, AMAZING and offer really great service for the price.

So let me start off by saying I work a lot, so finding time to go to a nail place is hard. Finding a nail Salon that stays open late is even harder. When I found this spot I saw that they close at 8 and I got off work at 7. I called the shop and explained my situation and the nail tech said dont worry just come in and we will take care of you. I ended up getting held up at work and left later then expected, so I called again to make sure it was ok that I come in and again I was assured that it would be fine. When got there the nail tech was so polite and took her time on my nails. I thought it would be a rushed process because it was so late but it wasnt. I left the shop with my nails looking beautiful. The only downside is that it is so far from my house but its worth the drive. Im considering leaving my old nail shop just for this amazing customer service.

Modern Nails is a very upscale nail salon! I have been a client there for about 10 yrs! They do good work in a friendly relaxed setting!

Absolutely horrible customer service. The nail technicians do not know how to properly polish nails. The services are over priced and they did not treat us nicely when we asked for something to be fixed. My mother and I were extremely disappointed. I do not recommend this nail salon to anyone in Tampa.

I was very impressed when I walked in.. Had to convince the technician that my nail was crooked.. She semi fixed it.. Not happy with the finished look.. The nails were left looking bumpy and polish was uneven.. Went for the pedicure. Contracted ringworm on my foot.. I noticed they are not sterilizing after each customer.. Oh they have an autoclave.. Maybe they sterilize all equipment at end of workday.. But it is very obvious they are not sterilizing after each customer.. Very sad because this nail salon seemed to be top notch.. I will return but I want to purchase my own equipment.. Sad when you notice that during your pedicure they take a tool and dip it in your foot bath water then put it back in the tray.. Eww

On Sunday I went in looking for a liquid gel full set. The wait was not long and I was helped, but during the process the woman did it wrong. She didn’t cut back cuticles or lay down a base layer/primer for the gel nails. Now two days later they are lifting up. She ground down my nails very thin as if she was applying acrylic and then put the gel on. While she was setting the gel on I continually asked her to reach the edges of my nails but she did not and ended up filing part of the edges of my natural nails inward to match the width of the gel nails. I asked for square nails and essentially have polygon nails. This made my gel nails look like little teeth sitting on top of my real nail, which you can see my real nail on both sides of the gel nail. When I pointed out that some of the shapes were inconsistent from the real nail she reapplied extra gel but the edges ended up so gagged they caught on the fabric of my clothing and have chipped/broken off now. Not to mention since she ground my nails down so thin I had to purchase a nail restore kit for the exposed nails. The thickness of each nail is inconsistent as well as the length. This is beyond the worst nail service I’ve ever gotten, and not to mention a complete rip off. They changed $65 for the gel nails and an additional $10 to add glitter to my thumb and ring finger nails. I wouldn’t be upset with the price if the quality matched it, but it simply doesn’t. At all. Not even close. When I paid for the service she stared at me for an uncomfortable several seconds to ensure she would receive a tip. I’m beyond livid with this experience.

My experience here was horrible. I showed the girl a picture of how I wanted my nails polished and she said it was too expensive for me to use a different color powder and for me to just do regular polish and my nails look like a five year old painted them so when I went to say something and get my money back the owner refused to give me a refund and when I mentioned theres no sign that says no refunds she said they dont need a sign because of how long theyve been located there. Needless to say I will never be going here and I will never recommend them to anyone I know because they are rude and unaccomadable.

My usual spot isnt open on Sundays and the only day I could go last week was Sunday so I was desperate. This place has decent reviews and it looks amazing on the inside! But the pedicure I got seriously sucked! A guy did it and my nails are uneven and cut short. The polish looks horrible. I also had a lady do my eyebrows and my eyebrows were uneven. Never going there again. I love Katies by west shore pizza better!

Mia cut my fingers to where I was bleeding. This was horrible service all around and within 5 days my nails began to break from doing simple tasks and they have never broke when I went to other places.

I went to Modern Nails for the first time on Thursday for a full set and gel as well as a pedicure. I have to tell you it was one of the best experiences Ive had in awhile and will definitely be returning.

The place was very pretty and recently remodeled. There wasnt a wait being that I was the only one there. I chose the deluxe pedicure which was fine although I didnt notice any difference from the regular, except for a bag being placed on my feet for 6o seconds. I asked the guy to do designes on my big toes ( a few fall colored leaves). He asked a woman coworker to do this. Upon finishing, it looked like a kindergartener drew it. I relayed my dissatisfaction but nothing was done or offered to correct the problem. Definately not worth the $40. Wont be going back.

Called around 12pm to make an appointment and they scheduled me for 2pm. I got there around 1:50 and they told me they couldn’t take me because someone else had an appointment. Why schedule me then??? So annoying. I scheduled my day around this appointment.

I went here at 9am when they opened and I walked in and told them what I wanted done and they kept trying to make me sit down when I said I didnt feel like sitting . I dont understand why I cant stand and wait . They are very rude here I dont recommend .

My gel nail chipped because while i was putting on my pants it scraped against my nail. Bebe fixed it for free and when i tipped her she wouldnt allow me to tip because she said it was one little thing. I insisted and she accepted. 10/10 service from her

Supposed to be Cofin shaped right hand nails are clearly longer than my left I repeatedly ask Lisa who was doing my nails to fix the shape narrow then down more she obviously was incapable of doing so. Several nails are crooked. I wasnt pleased at all then had the abacity to charge me 35$ for a full set. Would give 0stars if could
