Worked for a call center. Not for me. Time to for payday they didnt see my last day punched. Have to wait a week now. Love games

They emailed me about a Work From Home Customer Service opportunity I took the position. After going thru a drug screen with COVID-19 getting worse not to mention started virtual training week 2 on Tuesday I was told the job was ending. WOW

I had a very pleasant experience with the agency. Crystal was professional, informative, and very helpful. I had inadvertently applied for a full-time position, which wouldn’t have worked out with me being a full-time student, but Crystal informed me the company I was applying for also had a part time opening and got me set up for part-time instead. After the initial interview and some testing on their computers, I received a call the same day to let me know their client was interested and to schedule an interview with said client.

DISCRIMINATORY? OR NOT DIVERSE?I Received a call from one of the 3 women working there named Mary, who received my resume and said i seemed like a good fir and wanted to bring me in for a interview the next day, she was going to email me documents I needed for the next day. She never emailed me anything, documents needed for the job or even a point of contact or address.i walked in wearing a big smile said good morning, and their expressions were why is this women wearing a tie and man pants?! I let her know about this and she seemed to doubt she could have done this mistake.I smiled and spoke to all 3 women who were over 40 and Caucasian and none even attempted eye contact or spoke back. They rudely threw me into a room and simply took my ids for copies and told me to do some test to prove my skills and fill out paperwork. It took close to 2hrs, and as other applicants came in looking for jobs, I noticed how they were greeted and furthermore explained the job they were brought in for. They did none of this with me, regardless of my resume that had them call me in they didnt ask me any questions pertaining to work history as I heard them do others. Once I was done she rushed me out the office and said we will review your scores call u if u match up. Didnt confirm my number or email seeing as though they didnt have it right the first time. Nothing about that expirence was pleasant nor professional. Thankfully I had another interview I got hired for that wasnt thru temp agency, that were looking for people with great skills and work ethic not how they looked or were perceived. With select staffing being a small agency especially, as the selectors you can tell they pick people that look like them and arent diverse at all. Very bad experience

This should be an important review because I used to own a Staffing firm which placed two to three thousand people a week. I know how a staffing firm should operate.As an employer in need for my small post-retirement company, I contacted Sheri Shirley from Select Staffing on May 30, 2018. she sent me a contract to sign the following day. I signed the contract and sent it back the same day. that was the last I heard from her until today June 12th. I had called her twice left a message and sent her an email on June 5th asking if she had made any progress.Given the current employment situation, it is understandable that she might not be able to find a candidate. But it is unforgivable that she did not contact me back for two weeks. When she did call today she did not even apologize for the delay.I would recommend you do not waste your time with Select Staffing of Sarasota.

I am not pleased with not getting hired by this agency for the Data Entry job I have applied and qualified for for no reason. When I have recently interviewed there (at the Tampa Select Staffing site), Mary told me that I passed all three tests and said she was confident that her client (her company) will call back to schedule me for an interview and then said Im waiting to hear back from the client., but it never happened. But when I have called her back a week later to follow up on the job, she just sounded like she had an attitude, saying The client didnt call us back, alright! and I was like Ok. and just hung up the phone. So she obviously didnt care if I got the job or not, no matter how qualified I was and she didnt even say As soon as I hear back from the client, I will call you back, ok?, so it just left me cold. Maybe shes just a racist and I feel Ive been discriminated against ALL because Im black. Because I feel this way about Select Staffing, I will NEVER recommend this agency to anyone because I think they are a racist agency and I will never call them again!!!!!

Cannot believe I just received a call from this agency - person by the name of Crystal just called me. How about you have a system in place of who you had as candidates in the past who have screwed me over, have upset me, and blamed me for not showing up for a interview years ago with a recruiter who gave me the wrong location. This agency has refused to ever help me get work again and called the other agencies affiliated with this one to never help me. Hope they rot in hell. T horrible treatment I have received from the recruiters who are liars at this agency as well as in Clearwater that I dealt with in the past and the management staff included. I was never at fault - this agency discriminates, lies, and blames candidates such as me for things that the recruiter has done wrong but comes up with lies and fake stories that I NEVER did. I am not at fault here it is the horrible, and despicable agency that should be shut down for how horrible they treat candidates like they did me. If I had the money, I would have sued a long time ago. I hate them and if they call me again I will find away to sue them.

Mary Strickler is not only rude and abrupt but once she places you she swill mes you paperwork and no follow up. She is extremely rude and never calls you back especially if there is a problem. She drops the ball in follow through and leaves you hanging dry. I felt like I sent her emails and voicemail messages to no avail. I tried to complain and they just had her reach me when I wanted to go above her so nothing was ever done! I also felt like she did not help at all with understanding the process of working through a recruiter and who to get help and support from. I had to take off for medical attention and had understood i could take off without pay but when I emailed and advised I had to stay longer due the a surgery I was told ok but then when I returned I was told my contract was not renewed. I thought that was very dirty, unethical and illlegal; not to. Mention just wrong and I wasn’t told ti I returned from my través and I called and emailed to verify about my job. Come to find out later that not only was I not renewed but I was replaced, and I had just gotten health insurance which was now null and void! And to add insul to injury, all my personal belongings were stolen/nor returned to me despite all my pleas, calls and emails to the staffing company, her and the hiring company and HR! Completely unheard of! Who does that!!?? And to top it off she told me to “let it go!” She should be fired for her lack of courtesy, professionalism and ethics. It is illegal to not return personal property within at least 90 days. I should’ve filed a small claims court suit and called the police on them. Liars, cheaters and just plain scum that they are!

Good place to go if you need work they will hook you up, and their schedule is flexible.

Great recruiters who really want to help you find a position you will enjoy. Only negative is they have a pay card through Com Data that charges you to use the card for normal transactions a bank card or other card would not charge you for.

I was very pleased with working with Select Staffing, very professional.

I;m not the only person who know these folks dont promote diversity, but align themselves with companies who routinely discriminate again the temp workers Select sends to them.

All of the recruiters are mean and disrespectful

They are racists, I called and asked in English and I imagine that since I did not hear that I did not speak it perfectly, the receptionist told me that I should be 100% bilingual and also only had work for professionals ...As if those of us who speak Spanish are not, and all those who speak English are! Hahaha ridiculous !!!!!

It seems you are in the army in that factory of Hit promotion I prefer to clean apartments never again work for that agency uuuuffffff at last I already got a super good job and earning 10.00 an hour
