So happy with the work provided by this staff and Dr Kalra. He is a first rate dentist and I will tell anyone that will listen how happy I am with my new smile. The doc and his staff were patient with my concerns and questions before we started and throughout. The staff and hours they keep (open late and early) are very accommodating and I seldom had to wait when I arrived for my appointments.I had enamel damage and a gap in my top front teeth that I wanted fixed. Estimates from my former dentist were going to take 1-2+ years and varied price-wise from $20-35k. Dr Kalra set me up with a beautiful set of crowns that look and feel great for a lower, reasonable price that we finished up in a few months.I’ve received numerous compliments from colleagues, family, and friends, including my wife who was floored with how good they turned out. My only problem is remembering to show them off when I’m smiling or getting pictures taken.Anyone looking for cosmetic work or just a change for routine dentistry should give them a call; couldn’t be happier that I did.

I was terrified on my 1st visit because Ive had bad experiences with other dentists and feeling embarrassed because my teeth had gotten so bad. The doctor and the staff at Agoka dental made me feel so comfortable. Ive had several visits so far and they have went above and beyond to make me comfortable.... The whole experience is awesome!!!I had two extractions at this clinic and from reception through billing (includes procedure, dentist and the assistant) everybody is extremely professional, communicative, polite and helpful.I don’t like undergoing dental procedures, even cleaning makes me nervous but the dental proficiency of Rajiv K is unmatchable. I have been to a handful of dentists and he’s by far the best in his demeanor as well as surgical skills!He explains the procedures, ensures minimal pain and bleeding, transparent about billing and accommodative with schedule and payouts.Yes there’s room to improve (waiting time, overall, billing procedures, etc.) nonetheless highly recommended!!!!!

Without question, this is the best dental practice that Ive ever been to. Indira, the hygienist, took her time, was extremely friendly and personable and even showed me that all tools were sterilized and explain how it was done. There covid-19 precautions are top-notch without being invasive. She made me very comfortable and with extremely professional and sweet. Dr K took his time, was gentle and did an absolutely outstanding exam. His technique is meticulous. Its old tradition and Family Medicine that gives a personalized service experience you cannot find nowadays. I highly highly recommend them to everyone

I would highly recommend Dr. K’s office and his team. I had to have two crowns done on my front teeth, and Dr. K spent incredible extra time and attention to make sure my crowns matched the shape and size of my teeth. Had a wisdom tooth pulled today. They were quick and painless literally took like not even 2mins to pull out. Very clean and straight forward. I would highly recommend them. Ill be seeing them again for my other tooth to be removed and for a cleaning.

This office was referred by the Cosmetic Dentistry Grant though the work I need done will go beyond what the grant covers. Dr K and staff have been so incredibly warm and knowledgeable thus far. When I arrived with my nervous heart, Pam greeted me with so much gentility then gave a tour of the facilities. I dont do well at dentist offices, never have done. Doctor K had to do some very extensive work on me and I told him I was terrified. He gave me some medicine that essentially knocked me out during the worst portions of my treatment, but after the worst was over, I felt relaxed enough that I no longer experience the abject terror I once did when entering a dentists office. For the remainder of my treatment and any ongoing treatment, I feel relaxed and at ease. Everyone at Agoka Dental has been no less than fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone. My wife and I have to drive quite a long way to get to Agoka Dental and we will continue making that long drive, even though there are dentists much closer. If I could give more stars, I would gladly do so.Thanks everyone!

I enjoyed my time at Agoka dental. I felt welcome and at peace, and getting my wisdom teeth taken out was completely painless which was great for me.

I visited last week to have wisdom tooth pulled. The staff and dentist made me feel comfortable. Im horrified of dentists due to past experience. However i felt at ease and he was able to pull my tooth quickly and i was able to go to work the next day with very minimal pain.

After relocating several times over the past 4 years I never made time to find a new dentist. Im so glad I found Agoka. Friendly (very), efficient, and painless! (as much as a good dentist can be). I love that they can handle any dental procedure in house and will work you in any day if you have any issues. No more being billed triple and waiting weeks for a specialist.Dr K, the founders son, is absolutely fantastic. After the free consult he told me what needed to be done, and immediately started work on it. No schedule an appointment for next month, but right then!Dont be put off by the typical Kennedy mini-mall store front. Inside is nicely decorated and he has all the necessary tech like CT scan, in room electronic x-rays, camera and monitor systems so you can see what needs to be done.

I was looking for a dentist when I moved to Tampa 7 years ago. I found Agoka Dental on google and read a few reviews, which were positive. I went in for my first consultation and they go over who they are and what they will do. I have used them over the past 4 years for simple cleanings and more complex fillings and bonding. All came out great and last a long time. Dr. Karla is great and his staff is awesome. Manny is the man at the reception desk and remembers you each time. I found Agoka Dental a few months ago in the midst of a situation I had with one of my teeth and they were close to my job so I was able to schedule an appointment. I was very impressed with their personalized attention and how clean and beautiful the office is. Because of that, I have visited them twice again and although they dont take the Insurance I have, to me it is worth paying out of pocket specially because I usually dont visit the dentist very often. All their staff is very polite, respectful, kind and I also got a little present on my first visit. I think its available to all new patients. The dentist listens to all your concerns and answers all your questions, he doesnt seem hurry to check you out and to me, that is very important, more than any dentist or doctor can imagine. Any one who goes to their office will feel exactly the same, I promise.

To make my story short Ive always been really scared of the dentist. I went to the office with very low expectations and not looking forward to it at all. I got to the office, which has a perfect location, and from the same moment I walked though the door I told myself... Wow, this is something else. The waiting area is very clean and organized. They got everything in there... from up to date magazines to water, coffee, and apple juice. First, they give you a tour of the office. Then they show real interest on knowing a little bit about yourself. Everything with my procedure went beyond perfect. I have no words to say how thankful I am. All the staff treated me like family, I felt like I was at home. I plan on staying with the office even when they dont take my insurance because theres no better place. You wont regret visiting the office, youre going to find relaxing scenarios on the treatment rooms, high tech, very safe xrays, and a family for life. Thank you everyone at Agoka Dental.

Agoka Dental is a rarity in today’s world. I went to their office for a second opinion after being told I needed two root canals. Not only was their price just about half what the other dentist was charging but I also didn’t even need the procedure. Dr. Kalra was able to fill both teeth, and now I am pain free. Agoka Dental is honest and really cares about your dental health. It seems like a lot of dentists today just want to charge for root canals with larger cavities, instead of using their expertise to save the tooth and your wallet. I will never need a second opinion again because I know that Agoka has got my back.

I am so amazed by the quality of care and treatment I have received at this office!! The entire staff, every single person in the office, is incredible. I came in for my appointment in pain, embarrassed, and terrified because my previous dentist had done work that was beyond horrible.From the moment I walked into the office, I was treated with incredible compassion and respect. I was taken on a tour of the office, introduced to the staff members. There was an evaluation to just talk about what I was dealing with and what I would like my teeth to be like ultimately. In the chair, Dr. K was cheerful, professional, polite. He took his time and explained everything to me, made sure I was comfortable. I never felt like he was in a rush to finish and get me out of the office. The work he did is night and day different from what I was dealing with before. The staff members checked on me later that day and the next to see how I was doing.I cannot speak highly enough about this office or Dr. K. The best commendation I can give is that I recommended this office to my dad and took him there myself. He was in excruciating pain, and Dr. K took great care of him. When we walked in, the staff recognized me and greeted me so warmly.This part I think says it all: when your insurance does not accept Dr. K as a provider and youre willing to go into your own pocket to pay for your care up front just so you can keep seeing this dentist, THATS when you know youve got an excellent provider. Thats what my family has with Dr. K and Agoka Dental. We wont go anywhere else.

Absolute terrible experience! I never leave reviews but I am incredibly disappointed with this. Called a week prior and spoke with receptionist to make sure my insurance was accepted. Explained in great detail that not many providers accept my insurance and to please check and make sure before I request the time off of work. She came back to the phone and said she was sure they do accept it. I asked her to please be sure and she checked again and asked me to hold. She came back to the line and assured me it is accepted. I requested the time off of work and got to the office 45 minutes early to make sure I would have all of the paperwork filled out. It wasnt until I asked to make sure my insurance was accepted that they finally told me unfortunately the woman I spoke with gave me the wrong information. Waste of time making sure they got the correct information ahead of time and waste of taking time off work.

I had to have a root canal and I have no insurance they worked with me and they are incredibly incredibly I cannot see it anymore incredibly ethical, meticulous and very very careful and educated on everything they do I have never had a better experience in my life with any dentist hopefully they wont retire at any time soon. I refer everyone in Florida anywhere please come to them, I am being as sincere as possible it was an incredible experience.

They used drills and everything. Sounds scary, right? But it actually wasnt so bad! Dr. Kalra and his staff did everything they possibly could to make me feel as comfortable as possible, and they were very careful and gentle during the procedure. So for those of you who are apprehensive and fearful of dentists using drills, just know that youre in the best possible hands with the people at Agoka.

Not too often do individuals walk out of a dental clinic excited for their next checkup. However, Dr. Kalra and the Agoka Dental team were outliers as they provided me with an extremely comfortable experience for which I am very grateful. As I walked into the spa like establishment, I was attended to promptly and given a tour of the entire facility. The clinic was armed with state of the art X-Ray equipment, massage chairs and computers in every room. At first I was a little scared, as it was my first time at this clinic, however Dr. Karla was very friendly and informative thereby reassuring me that all my needs would be met. Needless to say I was overall content with my experience and would recommend everyone to visit Agoka Dental for an equally wonderful Dental experience.

Everyone hates the dentist, me being a big one haha! However, Agoka dental has made my dental experiences a little bit more tolerable. As soon as you enter into the office, you automatically will feel the calming atmosphere. The office is very organized and clean. Thus far, I have had a root canal done here, as well as a minor gum treatment, and a crown placed which were all great experiences. Dr. Karla is amazing at what he does, and always wants his work to be 100%. After my first visit getting my root canal done, Dr. Karla even gave me a call that evening to make sure I was doing okay after the procedure. Agoka Dental is the best clinic. Start from the front desk, Felix, Dr. Rajiv Karla, his assistant Indira and entire staff are Very knowledgeable. This place made me to feel very very good, (reliable), comfortable, they are so friendly and the most important, very professional, with many years experience. They clean my teeths, painless and very detailed explanation in each tooth. I highly recommend them! Thank you so much Agoka!

I am a dental hygienist. I have been working with different dentists in the past, and working with Dr. Kalra have been the longest. I am still one of his patients even I resigned four years ago to be a stay-home mom. I know Dr. Karlas office well. He is very meticulous on every dental procedure and his staff are highly trained. So I know I am in good hands. He is always keeping up with his dental continue education and always passionate about the new dental technology. He always wants the best for his patients and provides top notch quality work. Id highly recommend him as your family dentist.

I had a sharp pain in my jaw earlier this week and had to find an emergency walk in dental office to see what was going on. The women at reception were so kind over the phone and scheduled me in for just a couple hours after I first called. When I got to the office I met with Dr. Rajiv Kalra who told me what was wrong and answered all the questions I had. He was very attentive and made sure I completely understood everything. He was a great dentist and Id definitely recommend going to this dental office and seeing Dr. Rajiv Kalra! Despite undergoing 2 operations in 1 week, this was the best dentist/dental office I had ever been to. Really great staff and very nice people.

The first time I came to Agoka Dental I knew it was a good choice. The front office staff are very attentive and provide great customer service. The dentist and his dental staff are all knowledgeable and provide excellent guidance on at home dental care and are very concerned about the patients well being. Costs are reasonable.

The Dentist and staff were absolutely wonderful. They truly go over and beyond to make sure you are comfortable as you wait to be seen. The office itself is gorgeous and spotless. From outside it doesnt seem like much but once you enter its like a diamond in the rough. The biggest praise I can give is for their understanding and willingness to work with me. I was suffering with severe pain from an infected cracked molar and had nothing to my name and no dental insurance to speak of. The dentist (Dr. Kalra) was willing to work with me, God bless his heart. The tooth was extracted and I am now resting at home on antibiotics and finally able to sleep. So many thanks!!!!

I went to the Dr. for my wisdom teeth extraction. I tell you; it was great, I hardly felt anything. This my first tooth exaction and I was terrified. But it was nothing as I expected.Great dentist. Highly recommend him and his team.

The doctors here are amazing! I had my 4 wisdom teeth removed in one day. It took under two hours and I had minimal pain during and after the procedure. I returned to work the very next day and hardly needed pain medication. Dr. Kalra was very patient and made sure to explain to me what to expect and made sure that I was not in pain every step of the way. The office is very clean and modern. The staff at this office are always eager to help, kind, and remember you after just one visit. I would highly recommend Agoka dental to anyone.

Like everyone else I am not a big fan of the dentist! Especially since the dental care Ive received in the military have all been bad experiences. As soon as you walk in the staff makes you feel welcomed. Manny at the front desk is always so helpful and always smiling and Lorna the Dental assistant was very caring and helpful when it came to calming me down for my wisdom teeth extractions. I had all 4 extracted in one day and though it was painful afterwards which is normal, I was better within two days and was already back to work. I will recommend Agoka Dental to everyone!From the caring staff to the awesome work you will not regret it!

Im a student in college and driving down back to Tampa is well-worth the long drive down. The care I get from Dr. Karla, Martha, and the staff has been the best dental experience I have ever had. Highly recommend them if youre looking for a new dentist.

Let me start with Manny. He was the first contact I had before coming to this office and he was so caring and reassuring that my anxiety level had already lowered by the time I actually came in. Once there Chrissy continued to reassure me she walked me through showing me their setup. Nothing hidden, very clean. Then came Dr. K. He has such a sweet disposition! I had a suspicion that I would need a root canal and was extremely nervous. He sat next to me and explained the procedure, they have videos that you can also watch. He assured me that I would not be in ain and he did not lie. This office has completely diminished my dentist phobia and I will be coming back to them many times. I will soon bring my son in as well. Love you guys!!!!!!

I highly recommend Agoka Dental. After putting off a dental implant for years due to my own fears of pain and recovery time, I am THRILLED to say that Dr. Kalra put those fears to rest. As a fellow medical professional, I know it can be difficult to deal with anxious patients but he and his staff went out of their way to make me feel as comfortable as possible. Sure enough the procedure went better than I could have ever hoped for. Ive had ZERO pain and thats not an exaggeration. Again, I would recommend Agoka Dental to anyone and I will continue to put my trust in the doctors here for all my dental needs for years to come.
