Great office. I found them when I needed a cracked tooth looked at. They got me in the same day and put on a crown. Only one visit as they make their own crowns. I went back for an exam and cleaning and they did another outstanding job. Highly recommend them.

I moved to Tampa in 1999 and I needed a dentist, John had a small office in Hyde Park before his new office which is amazingly beautiful and always with the BEST staff. I immediately liked him he was a Florida grad and I was an Ohio State grad. We both loved our football teams. John has always been a great guy professionally and personally I have met him out many times over the years and consider him a good friend.I went through a terrible time in 2020. I lost my lifes savings. I honestly did it was devastating. I chipped my front two teeth in May 2020 but had no money to pay for a dentist. I was very insecure with smiling around people. I always took great pride in my appearance. Late in June of this year a bridge with three of my upper teeth fell out. It was a Friday evening and I had enough! I texted John to let him know what just happened and he was kind enough to let me know he would see me the following week. John was on vacation in Nashville when I texted him but texted me back within minutes regarding my crown bridge.The following week John saw me and put the bridge back in and also told me he would take care of my front teeth as well. He knew I was broke. But, he said he had me and that meant the world to me. He did replace my two front teeth with new crowns that look fantastic. It was such a relief to see I had a smile again I did not have to be ashamed around people. My life became very BRIGHT because of a simple act of kindness.John you are THE BEST.UPDATE!! August 31st 2021I had one of my crowns on my lower back molar side fall out over the weekend due to it being in my mouth for over 10 years it was due to fall out at some point with the cement becoming brittle over time along with all the grinding of my teeth especially! lol I emailed and texted Denise first thing Monday morning Aug. 30th and she asked if I could come in the next day which I did. John took care of everything again for free knowing I lost my lifes savings last year. Having the health of my teeth being back in order means the world to me. Ive had a tough year but this definitely put a smile back on my face. John is a good soul. People dont know him the way I do. We need more John Redds in this world thats for sure!Love you Man!

Full confession - 2020 was a crazy year and I opted to skip my scheduled cleanings. Not always the best idea for someone that is not an avid flosser! Dr. John Redd and his team are amazing. Ive been going to him for many, many years and he always makes the experience a good one. I recently had a cap replaced, and his wonderful staff was able to fit me in quickly. The front desk staff is friendly and welcoming, the hygienists are excellent at their job and very reassuring, and during each visit I always get the feeling that Dr. Redd is using the latest advances to make the visit as painless and efficient as it can possibly be. The individual TVs in each room are a great touch and a nice distraction. I highly recommend Dr. Redd, especially for those who are a little apprehensive or anxious about going to the dentist. He really does make the experience pleasant and does a top notch job.

From the front door to the back room I cannot express how at home I felt. Going to the dentist has always been a scary thing for me due to the trauma I have endured at other locations. When I saw Dr. redd he greeted me with such joy and happiness and made a plan of care to get my smile back on the right track. Each visit went extremely well. In fact, half the time I didnt know how long I was in the chair before it was over. My dental anxieties were a thing of the past when I decided to allow Dr.Redd take care of me. My teeth were in pretty bad shape and I was afraid I would at need at minimum 2 or 3 extractions and that gave me a great deal of fear as I wondered how would I ever smile again if they were extracted. Not only did Dr. Redd save them but he was able to make my teeth look like there was nothing ever wrong with them in the begining. My very last apt was for a wisdom tooth to be extracted. I will admit I was a bit nervous because the last extraction I had felt like my sinuses were being ripped out of my nose. But Dr. Redd was AMAZING!!! Within 2 or 3 minutes top it was out and I felt nothing!!!! It was the best extraction Ive ever had. Overall this facility is one I would recommend to everyone. The staff starting with Denise at the front all the way to Vanessa in the back and Dr. Redd with his empathy for each and every patient regardless of the oral history were nothing short of amazing. I am finally able to smile again in family pictures. Something I have avoided for years. I am truly blessed to have been able to have Dr. Redd fix my teeth. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart you guys have no idea how much this means to me. I am forever grateful for TAMPA SMILES!!!

This place is incredible. I walked in for my first appointment this morning. I was pretty late and was coming to just apologize and reschedule. Tamara walked up to me and smiled. I had a tooth that chipped in the back of my mouth, and Dr. Redd was able to fix the problem because he approaches every situation as fixable. A lot of other dentists just want to pull your tooth out or give you a crown. Holy Wow! This office rocks!!!I had a situation where my dentist was no longer available and I had a crown pop out the night before while I was flossing.Everything from the very first phone call to the last goodbye when I was finished, was awesome! Denise at the front desk is a sweetheart-very understanding and very helpful. Vanessa is a wonderful hygienist. She explained everything they were going to need to do. Dr. Redd was fantastic. I haven’t had to see an actual dentist within a practice in years, and I’m not a fan of drills and needles. They made my new crown right there in his office so I wouldn’t need a temporary and then have to come back again. It’s a one step process and they fit it to your tooth right there! They have flat screen monitors installed in every room so that when they need to show you pictures of what’s going on in your mouth, it is right above you! It telescopes over you as you lay all the way back in the chair! Then while they are drilling, they give you nose canceling headphones, the remote, and you can watch whatever channel on TV to keep you pre-occupied! I will be going back for my regular care!And so should you!
