Please everyone, do yourselves a favor and take your alteration needs anywhere but here.I can sincerely tell you that I went there to have a formal dress hemmed to fit me, it was too long. This dress had 2 layers. The job they preformed was horrible. They hemmed it alright but it was completely uneven all the way around. In fact the bottom layer is longer than the top layer all in the front. I can’t even explain how horrible of a job they did. When I showed them. It was no big deal. Wanted me to wait another 3-4 days before it can be fixed. However I was not willing to leave this dress again. If they ruined it once they will ruin it again.They are the only place that requires payment before service. Should have known why!Won’t refund money either. Horrible attitudes and no customer service professionalism.Don’t waste your time and money.

Went into today to the establishment that’s over used multiple time over the years I was met with the absolute rudest human known to man she was extremely unprofessional and I will highly recommend NO ONE ever use this place!!! I highly recommend they shut down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very professional. Luis is who assisted me. I needed a zipper taken out and replaced with buttons and a pant jumper cut into a short romper. He assured me that he could handle the job and he did just that. I am very satisfied.

Business must be good as I was turned away, by a woman, from an empty lobby at 6:45pm, with the gate still risen.

I have never been disappointed. The work is done quickly and perfectly. Youd expect that with simple hemming but my daughters wedding dress was the above and beyond that clinched 5 stars. M. is barely 5; shes had everything tailored here so when she found an amazing dress at Goodwill, we knew where to go to make it her own. Within 5 days, it was shortened, the halter neckline adjusted and a corset with lacing created to get the best fit-it was beautiful!Im heading in tonight with 3 pieces.

Do NOT GO HERE!! This lady who is the owner was rude! She charged $50 to put rhinestones in half of a vest! She never finished it and when we picked it up, she said she couldnt finish it, said she been working on it for over 6 hours and refused to give us part of the money back! She said a Christian person would know that it couldnt be sewn with a machine! WHAT KIND OF FOOLISHNESS! She said we can just finish it!! Guess whos getting sued!! Do NOT GO HERE!!!!! I want to know how to give a negative 1star!!!

I had a very detailed beaded dress for a big out-of-town wedding that needed several things altered. I only had a couple of days to get the work done. The ladies at Sew Good were very kind and completed the work in a couple of days. The alterations were done well. My dress fit perfect!

DO NOT GO THERE. The owner lady is very rude she rips me off every time charging me arm and leg yet the work is very poor I had to ask them to fix it then she charges me $50 more for a still poor job.

Kept moving date for pickup of work paid for in advance. I guess Im looking for another shop now. Horrible customer service Any recommendations other than this place are helpful. I typically don’t leave reviews but I couldn’t help but convey how unprofessional these people were. No customer service skills at all. I did get the work completed as requested in the given time but because of the lack of professionalism I’d rather take my busy elsewhere.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Here are many reasons why.1) I dropped off my dress a week ahead of time. I came to pick it up and the dress wasnt even started on2) found out the lady supposed to work on it just didn’t want to come to work3) The other lady working named Carmen starts being rude to me when I picked up the dress because I didn’t have the receipt. A copy of the receipt was sitting on top of my dress with my name on it saying that I paid for it. I offered to show my ID to match the name on the receipt but she didn’t care4) Carmen also starts telling me rudely that she doesn’t get paid by the hour. She gets paid by each item she works on which was why she refused to look for the dress herself.5) She had me go in the back to look for my dress which was no where to be found on the racks. I found in on someone’s work tableI didn’t get a discount nor did she apologize for being rude to me. I wish I was making this up. I have never had to deal with people as rude and unprofessional as this place. Do NOT give these people your business.

First, these reviews are old. Everyone I spoke to was polite. I had two jobs needing done; a terrible rip in the seam of suit pants and a jagged tear on a long coat. I checked and checked. If it wasnt for my background in costuming (which my ex got the sewing machine in the divorce)I couldnt tell where the changes were made. Very well done. Very good price.Edit: I made a second trip and the woman, different woman than I approached 5 months before on my first trip, quoted me twice as much for the same type and number of repairs. This time these repairs were only pants. Unfortunately I had to take my business elsewhere as the didnt take my card and didnt allow me to pay post repairs. I was in casual clothes instead of work clothes this time.

The staff is very nice and helpful but their work is very bad. They require you to pay upfront and make sure you try on what you had altered when you pick up. They ruined an expensive shirt because the lady didnt take the measures properly on me (I wish it was altered too big but now its to small) The shirt has many long lose threads all over the alterations, one area has double/triple rows of sewing - maybe their was a problem with the sewing machines or thread. I tried to iron my shirt and the pleats are all messed up. I do not recommend.

We went to pick up my dress the day after it was supposed to be ready and it wasnt even started. They refused to show me my dress and it wasnt finished. They claimed someone was out sick and it didnt get worked on. I dont recommend this place, its very sketchy.

Service was absolutely rude charged to high and was rediculous I dont usually say anything but this place was just terrible, not to mention the immaturity of a woman clearly over 50 in comments. people dont leave bad reviews just because.

I am very disappointed with the service I recently received from Sew Good at University Mall. The folks in Burlington mentioned they were there when I purchased 3 pairs of pants. Ibtook them to Sew Good to be hemmed.I was at first with what seemed to be fair pricing. When I came to pick up the pants I brought them a suit to be altered. There was a man on duty that day. He gave me pants and prepared for alterations of the suit. His pricing was different from the lady that served me first. When I told him I would like to pick it on Monday having left it on Friday morning he proceeded to tell me he could not accomodate me. I finally got it on Thursday. To make matters worse when I got home later in the day after dripping off the mans suit, I realized I had only 2 pair of the pants I left them. I have called numerous times and the manager who took my original order of the pants has never tried to contact. She left word that as for as she was concerned they gave all 3 pair. Which is not true they had one on a hangar and suppose to be to pair wrapped up in a plastic bag. Not very professional for professional tailors. They have made no attempt to resolve my problem. Albeit the pants were not expensive they owe me for those pants. I do not recommend these tailors for anything. There qualiry of workmanship was ok but their lack of customer service and dishonesty is unacceptable. Please beware if you need any clothing alterations before using their services. So the rating of a 1 is generius in that that their work was at least mediocre

Dreadful. I was willing to overlook the brusque staff when I inquired about having a pair of jeans hemmed. Even when they threw a sales slip at me that had another persons name scribbled out and said, FILL THIS OUT.What I could not forgive is hem lines that look like a high school student did the work. Needless to say, if anyone drove like the stitching came out, youd be pulled over under suspicion for a DUI.On top of that, then there was an argument about a zipper (again, see half filled out sales slip up above) replacement that they thought they were not getting paid for. Even though the service is prepaid and even though I was only getting my jeans hemmed, I spent 5 minutes trying to explain that there was absolutely no way the zipper needed to be replaced on a never worn pair of jeans.Id do a better job myself or rather put up with ill fitting pants than ever use them again.

It’s different you have to experience yourself because I think all opinions would be a different experience for everybody

I had a few items altered here before and have never had an issue until recently.I took two dresses to get altered before going on vacation and as I was about to pay the seamstress ended up unplugging the credit card machine and wasnt able to get it turned back on so she asked me If I could pay when I pick up the items so she marked my receipt as unpaid.So because of this issue when I went to pick up my items I brought cash to pay. So I paid cash she gave me my items all thrown in a black bag and I left with receipt in hand and less than a hour Im receiving non stop calls and voicemails from her saying I need to pay and if I dont pay they will take that amount out of her check, so I call back no answer.I couldnt believe it first of all if you claimed I didnt pay why would you allow me to leave without paying knowing unpaid items come out your check and on top of this the dress straps are still falling off and this is the only thing I needed altered. I am done with this place!!!

Ok so idc how many times I break a Zipper, pop a button,if I’m paying # these people shouldnt have a problem fixing simple as that! that made me pay up front to do a haft job that I had to bring back I only return cause I can not find replacement zipper any where eles and it only Brescia cause I put in the washing machine witch is my fault but again if I’m paying then you should be happy to fix and that’s just that

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Spoke to an elderly lady working there, she has terrible customer service and lacks people skills. I took a shirt to get a simple hole fixed and the job was mediocre.

NEVER AGAIN!I had brought in two pairs of pants to be hemmed and my Wifes sundress to have two small seams repaired in the neck & sholder. The day I dropped off items lady was polite and used two safety pins to mark the two different seams to be repaired. A few days later when my Wife & I returned to pickup items two different older ladies were working. We had inspected the repairs and noticed the repair in the sholder was coming undone and still had a small hole. We had brought it to the ladies attention and she began to argue with us saying that the shoulder was not one of the items that needed to be repaired, so I asked her what was repaired? She just started yelling at me in Spanish (I have no idea what she said or called my Wife & I). VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. If the lady had just corrected the issue on the spot. I wouldnt of given you a poor review and you wouldnt have lost a customer.

Dress wasnt touch on the day of pickup never took off anything when asked for inconvenience of not being ready on day that it was suppose to be ready.... Beading falling off
