Normally cut my own hair. Always packed when I go by but luckily I sat for 5 minutes before getting in the chair. Barber was flawless and did an awesome job. Will be returning again if Im too lazy to cut my own.

Nice big building. One of the larger barbershops Ive attended in Tampa. Plenty of seats, couches and chairs to get a nice cut. I had Will fade me up nice. Very friendly and welcoming. Try them out!!!

Seems like everytime they get a new owner it still goes down hill I will never bring my kids here ever again Barbers not professional I highly recommend choosing a new barbershop or dont go to barbers named Will or Oz both rude no manners cut your hair how the want it done they dont listen to customers on how the want their hair cut I tell them how I want my style and they would get mad New Era needs new ownership and newprofessional barbers that actually care

Miguel is a great barber. Unlike other barbers he will actually listen to your request and follow instructions just like you want a barber to do.

Sadly I am changing my rating from 5 stars to 1 star.I have frequented and sent many friends to this barber shop.For the 3rd time now I waited hours for barbers to just skip me.When Joel was there this was never an issue.He always greeted the customers and made sure everyone got a timely cut. I walked out this time after waiting from 5:35 to 8:00 to be told I can get you in after this haircut.I wish I could leave 0 stars as I have tipped very well everytime. I walked in and the only person to greet me was a Girl Barber. So i decided to sit in her chair i was nervous i aint even gonna front. But she did her thing and was respectful and professional. By mid cut i was comfortable and confident i got a good barber. The music was not so welcoming and some of other barbers seem unfriendly and a little cocky. I would go to her again any time. But the shop it self needs some revamping and some people skills. Wasnt impressed by the barbershop but i am impressed by my new barber. Shout out Leishmarie see you again. Check her out!

Unlike everyone else who has experienced a minor inconvenience at the shop. I’ve waited for my barber Miguel or anyone else and they take their time to make sure everything is precise and to show that they are the best in the area. They get backed up because they have a lot of business. Book an appointment and get the cut at a set time. Shout out to Miguel!

Great Atmosphere.

I been in tampa for 11weeks now and went to 4 different barbershops and finally found one that is perfect for me laid back atmosphere nothing but good vibes, barbers that greet you with respect second you walk through the door, barbers that take pride in there work, it shows when a person has a passion for his job, these guys take there time, make sure they understand exactly what it is thg that you are trying to get, and make sure that you leave out of there looking clean, and feeling great about your haircut, I suggest everyone to new era barbershop

Cali is my regular barber and he does the best job. He is the most talented barber Ive ever had. So ask for Cali

One of the barbers cut my hair too short and cut me a lot of times he was supposed to give me a comb over but ended up cutting my hair way too short my hair used to be around 5.5 inches now its 1 centimeter on top and almost bald/shaved completely on the sides never going there again. Sometimes they do great and then u get what I got.

So after that review I put up I came back up to the shop talk to the owner Joel and he made everything better and apologize for the inconvenience. Also he gave me excellent service. If you ever need a good Barber shop guys this is the spot to go to they got the best cuts in town. They open on time and will not leave you hanging/waiting for a hair cut.

Took my son for a haircut, they are not female friendly. No greeting or acknowledgement when we arrived and the whole time we waited. If two other people hadnt walked out it would have taken 2-3 hours to get a cut with 2 barbers and 5 customers. Wont be going there again.

The barber was very professional and polite

Went in there a free weeks ago and didnt get the cut I really wanted for my son. He didnt even make his hair look freshly cut and I felt that I was over $20 a childs hair cut all he did was edge him up and take a little off the sides. I will not return for another cut and wouldnt recommend to anyone.. I shouldve known better when the shop was empty when I went in.. Lesson learned

My 12 year old son went for a line up. He got served quickly but it took 50 mins to get the line up complete. He said the baber kept walking away. It shouldnt take 50 mins for a line up and i think $10 is way too much for a line up especially for a child! Ill stick with my babershop kut it up.. in the plam river Plaza awesome prices and quality work!
