This place is a nothing short of a barber gem in the city. The level of skill both barbers have is unheard of. I recently started going here and wont go anywhere else.

I don’t usually go to a barber but for a special occasion I decided to give them a shot after seeing their other reviews. I was not let down! RJ did an perfect shape up and style, I will defiantly be a returning customer!

Tijani was great! Cut my hair perfectly. So glad I came to this place. Made me feel at home. I will be coming here once a week from now on. Prices are very reasonable. This is one of the best barbers I’ve ever been to. I can’t tell you this enough. You MUST go here and get a very nice haircut. Ask for a good fade and you’ll be very happy. I love this place and I will be coming back every week like I normally do.

Heard about this barber shop from a friend at USF. The employees definitely put in the effort and its one of the best haircuts Ive gotten while in Tampa. Will definitely be returning here, its right along route D of the bullrunner too, couldnt be a better location.

I really enjoyed my experience at Tijani’s Barber Shop!! Unprecedented and one of a kind! Hands down my fade was on point and for two weeks I have people in Tampa, Fla asking me where I got my fade at. This shop was very hospitable and understood exactly the way I wanted my cut. I am prior military and I must say I’m super picky about my fade. I was recommended to this shop and they didn’t disappoint. I highly recommend them for all of your barber needs and especially military or prior military. This shop has a heart for all people especially soldiers!! Bless up!!!

While I havent given myself the time to get a haircut there because for some reason I cant have more than enough money to spend on myself, Ive heard and seen his work and I must say its pretty top notch. Its got reasonable prices and a Playstation if you ever feel the need to distract yourself from waiting to be the next person in line. The barbers there also are really good with communicating with their customer and making them feel as comfortable as can be. Would highly recommend going here if you want a good time

I’m here at this barbershop every 2 weeks and receive nothing but the best service every visit. Tijani is very professional and really one of the only barbers that know how to use scissors properly and give a perfect skin fade. Highly recommended if you want the best cut and consistent service.

Had an appointment at 11 and sat there until 11:30 with still no show and no call to let me know they were running late. Additionally, they are supposed to be open at 10 am and not a single person was there by the time I left.

I would not recommend to USF students. Not your typical Barber shop. However, the people were nice and laid back. You can play PS4 while you wait!

Went here after all the raving reviews on Google, just to get myself prepped for a couple of interviews that I had lined up. And voila - Blake here does the best that he can do to screw my hair up for a good couple months. Told him not to make it too short on the top, and with the way the haircut was being done - I had no idea if he was cutting it too short or leaving enough on the top.Thanks to him - I look like a crazed psycho, with a half-tonsured look. Never heading back to this place again, and I advise others not to as well if you want your hair to look even half-decent.

Tijani has the BEST barbershop in Tampa hands down! Known him for 7 years and each hair cut is consistent. Moved to St Petersburg and came all the way back to Tampa just to get my haircut at his shop!

I had trouble finding a good barber since moving to Tampa, but that all changed when I came here. Was greeted by the barbers and the gentleman that cuts in the first chair sat me down and just...wow. You know when a barber is good. Go check them out. Prices are even good.

Tijani’s barber shop is by far one of the best barbershop experiences I have ever had. I first started getting my hair cut by Tijani 3 years ago and never thought of getting it else where. Prices are extremely low in comparison to the quality and satisfactory you receive. You can not go wrong with this barber shop and barber. 5stars

Good. Used to be very good. But now a days, it hard to find Tijani. The new guys does care you well.They don’t wear mask properly either (only cover mouth). No cleaning of seat after completing a customer. I had told them. But they didn’t accepted that well, too. Replied that some people doesn’t care about the mask. 😇

Tijanis is such an awesome place. Hes so talented at haircutting, the shop is interesting (guitars in shop, awesome international music) friendly and entertaining atmosphere. And he sings this cool song from Morocco which has been stuck in my head for like a month now. Highly suggest checking this shop out, you wont be disappointed :D

Had recently moved to FL & was desperately looking for a barber to fade up my sons hair. (As a previous cosmetologist myself- I am very picky on whom cuts my sons hair) by luck; I was driving by & saw the now open sign & decided to stop by to check the place out.We have been clients of Joses now for a few months now & he is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I would not trust anyone else to touch my sons head asides from him. We recently moved to the area and my husband has struggled finding a barber shop that does flat tops. He has gone to several locations only to be told that they would “try” a flat top or that they didn’t know how to do them. My husband came here last night and they did an amazing job. He finally found a place that can do flat tops in Florida. The service was amazing. I highly recommend this location.

Great place to go if you want to look like Beaker from the muppets show. I asked for a trim and shave, got my skin scrapped up because they apparently didn’t know what shaving cream is. A hybrid haircut with a buzz on the sides and a kid-n-play eraser top, and he tried to hide it by slapping on more product than Lady Gaga uses. Save your money and let your 5 year old loose with a pair of clippers and you will look as good as you will walking out of this butcher shop. Have a nice day!

Tijani was actually the one who gave me my cut. He was super nice - probably the nicest barber Ive ever had. The cut itself was really good too. I think Tijani has a good eye for hair cuts as he gave me a slight fade. The only downside was the cut was shorter than I had wanted but it was honestly my fault because he had even warned me how short what I had said wouldve been. Another downside was that he couldve done a better job getting the leftover hair off of my head.

Heres a place you wanna go if you want a relationship with your barber, attention to detail, good prices, and a place to relax for a while....2020 Update: After being a client for over 3 years i am dropping them as they have gone downhill. Owner is never there. Barbers are always changing. Last time I came in before quarantine barbers were rude, standoff-ish, very aggressive with my hair and were jokingly threatening to charge clients $40 + for their haircuts after they had already started. Acted as if I was lucky to have even been seen at all. Did not do a good job with my cut. On normal visits barbers talk among themselves but do not make an environment for you to feel comfortable to add to conversation. Waits have also gone up and on average you can expect to wait more than an hour to get a seat with a barber that doesnt remember your name after 3 years of coming in. A huge let down from my initial experience. Goes to show you, good things dont always last....In response to the owners comments. It does seem contradictory but I did complain over the 3 year period and kept being reassured that things would change but they never did. I never left because I believe in loyalty to a company or its people. I tried to be optimistic about this company but I guess thats my bad. I guess the lesson here as the owner put it is to complain earlier and pray that after you do they dont mess up haircut in retaliation.

DO NOT GO HERE. FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWS. These barbers take forever. They dont take reservations. Dont go here. Waste of your time. No customer service. Painfully loud music. No receptionist. After waiting for 45 minutes I was told my expected wait time was 45 more minutes. They managed to cut one persons hair the entire time I was in there.
