All I can say is that I dont leave reviews. Casey towed my lowered car with the best level of customer service that Ive seen in a long time. Ive had countless lowered cars towed and theyve been demolished by the tow truck drivers. Casey took the time and knew exactly how to safely load and unload my vehicle. When I say my car is low, its truly an understatement, it literally drags everywhere I go. What he did, was nothing short of pure magic. If you call Casey at Stepps Towing and get even half of the service that he provided me, youll be more than pleased. Wow!! What great service considering when you need a tow truck it probably isn’t the best time for you. As I was sitting on i75 with a immobile jeep- and not from here, but remember seeing Stepp’s at the Grand Prix. I called- dispatcher said would be hour and half- so I waited. But it didn’t take that long at all. Ben was my driver! Showed up, very professional and got us off the interstate. He was super nice- went out of his way every step. The tow truck flew down the I4 shoulder going like 50+mph during a complete rush hour. He then cut off about 5 cars to get across the lanes. I dont even care if this is to get to a towing job, you dont put other peoples lives in danger because you have a lead foot. I would never use them based solely on this. What an @!!hole.

We had to go to the DMV and paid for a copy of car registration, because they kept on saying that there was none in the car. When we went to get the car the registration was there. So much time waste.

Stepps towing is a very large operation..They extort and take advantage of people who have been in a accident and are possibly be in a horrible situation.They pick up your vehicle and if you are in a hospital for a period longer than a couple of days you will find out who these people really are they part out your car then sell it and charge you multiple times then file a 300$ lean on your license..I would highly recommend them.If you are into that kind of treatment...and they only take cash on that extortion money... $300 at the main hub.

Let me tell you about this company, I had a vehicle stolen from me was impounded by the Pasco County sheriffs department in their custody. The sheriff released it to me I get out there I had two flat tires. So I went and got my service vehicle to come back and change the tires. I’m going to go get the two new tires. They would not allow me to work on the vehicle in their impound yard. So I asked him as a courtesy if they would tow it out to the street so I can do it. They said they had no one available and they don’t do that. His recommendation was to drive on my $500 each rimOut to the street where as I can change the tire. Here I am, I’m victim of a crime. Without my vehicle for 20 days. I get out there and they couldn’t even accommodate me by helping me get tires on the vehicle. I’m telling you, this is the worst company in the world. I’ve never dealt with such disrespect, and then unwillingness and an unwillingness to Assist a victim of a crime. I had to hire Pete’s towing to come out and pick the vehicle up and bring it to my house so I can Put tires on the vehicle. Also while it was in their custody for 20 days. I got a notice that the battery was failing, because they left the ignition in the on position can I have a notifications from the computer to my phone that says that this batteries failing, I asked them to charge the battery and make sure the ignition was off. Which they did neither over the 20 days it was in their custody. Do not trust these people with your vehicle! Do not trust that they’ll take it someplace and drop it off without you by their side.

I own a few custom vehicles and transport them myself to shows. My trailer axle went bad. Stepps sent me a flatbed in 46 minutes in the pouring rain. The driver was very professional while taking every precaution not to damage my car and reassuring me he knew what he was doing. BTW his truck was very organized. Will be calling again in 2 weeks

I’m in charge of a fleet of school buses and had one involved in an accident. Steppes rearranged schedule and had someone respond and there in under 45 mins...their customer service is top notch, professional and dependable. A big shout out to this company!!!!

You never want to need a tow truck but we’ve been using Stepp’s for years and we never have any complaints. They’re friendly and courteous and they’re sympathetic to the fact that you’re calling. They have a text service so you can keep up to the minute informed about where the driver is and they even text or call to let you know your car was delivered safely to the mechanic.

Last year they towed my car (my fault I parked in the wrong spot). They managed to scrap and ding my car while loading it onto there truck. Then claimed they are not liable for damages. Worst towing company in all of Tampa Bay.

Broke a piece off the back of my Mercedes. Parked it in a spot in my yard I didn’t say to park it at. All the women are very rude and nasty when I called today asking for help since the tower locked my steering wheel to the point that I can’t turn the key over to even put the gear in reverse to push the car to the correct spot myself. I’ve very unsatisfied and would never use this company again especially when they won’t even offer to come fix my car steering wheel being locked due to THIR NEGLIGENCE. Wanting me to REPAY for another tow! Do not use them!

Mike was very professional and very experienced at his job. He unloaded the machine without any problems! Great job Stepps and Mike. Thank you.

Had a blowout on I-75 S and managed to get my work van to the nearest off ramp. Called Stepps and they were very professional on the phone. Told me that it may take over an hour (which I was OK with, no choice but to wait) for the tow truck to get to me because of their volume. Tow truck showed up around 20 minutes after I called. Driver, whose name escapes me right now, was very professional and took very good care of loading my van. Thank you guys

Dont know who to blame here my scooter was stolen in 2017. Brand new I might add. It was recovered in 2020 Sheriff sent to Stepps lot even though they knew it was stolen and had my contact info.Scooter was pretty much trash, and still Stepps leined my drivers licence for 340 dollars. So now I was a victim twice,as I had to pay so I could renew my vehicle tags

On 7/3/30 we had to get our vehicle towed to a dealership, as we were broken down and stuck on vacation. BMW Assist sent Ben with Stepps Towing. He was extremely professional and careful with the entire operation from pick up to dealership delivery. He may remember us as the LSU fans and our common admiration of Joe Burrows great year in football, as Ben mentioned he was a buckeye fan. Great service and professional employees.

Not the fastest or cheapest, but courteous and professional. Did a good job once there. I will say they should be more sensitive to the stress that builds every minute youre stick on a highway. I texted them back after an hour to ask if they were close. I heard nothing but the driver arrived about 10 minutes later. Much later when we were pulling into my driveway I got a text saying well be there in 5 minutes. That was clearly a dispatcher sending a bogus, wrote, and quite late response . I didnt appreciate that much and its kind of embarrassing for them (or should be), but those things aside its essentially 4 star - but they clearly could do better.

My welding rig broke down on I-75 south of Gainesville needing to get back to Lakeland. Not knowing anyone in the area but always seeing those white trucks with red stripes everywhere I hoped Stepps had a location near. They didnt but said they would have someone from their Pasco location which was the closest head my way. 15 minutes later a truck pulled up. I was 😲. The driver was actually from their Orlando office but had just cleared a call in Lake City. Man these guys are everywhere.

Repeatedly lied to me that Im on my way . They also have no problem with leaving a customer sitting and waiting for over 2 hours then saying Im on my way, a more important call rerouted me. The competition showed up in 30 minutes.

These guys are the real deal. I called them because I’ve seen their trucks and have heard they had a good reputation for being on time and getting the job done. They lived up to that expectation and then some!I needed to move my 4 post car lift and wanted to do so without disassembling. Stepps arrived early with all of the right equipment to get it on a truck. Eric, the technician, took his time to ensure that everything was moved with zero issues!I can’t say enough good things about my experience!

It was About 6:00 am driver was really nice.

Really disappointed with the service that was received! I was referred to them by another towing company when their truck was down and I had received a $500 estimate to move my container 1 mile... I specified with Management on the phone that they needed to send a driver out that whats good with the truck because it was a tight situation... They sent a driver out that got the job done but required three of my guys on site to make that happen. Took 2 hours to hook it up and pull it one mile the container was hanging off the side of the truck not even properly put on there so they required an escort one of my vehicles in the front and one in the back just to get the container to my other property! I was then charged almost $1,200! Oh and let me also say this was after to schedule changes where they did not even give me a heads up and I had employees waiting on site for them to show up so after two different days they had to reschedule this is the service I receive on day number 3! Then I am told that the owner will contact me to adjust the price of which I have never received a phone call! I did call twice and was told the last time that the owner was walking 5 minutes down into his office and would be calling me... I have no problem paying $1,200 but I feel that this company has some management issues that need to be addressed because that driver should have never been sent out and the truck that came out wasnt even working properly and required my guys to get up and pull the winch out just to hook the container up otherwise the driver would have been sent back to the shop to get a different truck because that one was not working and required my guys to get it working for the driver... I just dont understand why I was treated this way and would highly recommend anyone wanting to move a container contact another company!

Would never use this towing service as, apparently, they dont even believe in wearing masks during the most deadly pandemic in a century.They host hate-filled, maskless rallies that Im sure most of their employees attended so....some of them have probably now contracted the virus which they could then pass on the their customers.How unprofessional...would NEVER use this towing service. Today March 9 my car broke down around 4:30. I have Verizon Roadside service and they used or attempted to use this company Stepps to come to my rescue. Stepps accepted the request and Verizon sent me a reference number that they would take 74min. At 7:30 Since they where taking very long, I call the towing company for them to tell me they notified Verizon 8 minutes ago that they couldn’t do the request because they didn’t have the proper equipment to tow my Nissan car. What towing company doesn’t have the equipment to tow? Why accept when they weren’t able to do the service? Because of their lack of integrity and honesty I’m writing this review. My journey today started at 4:30pm and ended at 10:30pm with a different towing company. If Stepps from the first contact Verizon had with them, if they would of been honest that they couldn’t do it, I would of been home a loooong time ago.

Trying to pick up our vehicle that was in here since this morning. Called at 11:40am to be told their soonest available is 3pm. My grandmother is disabled and can barely walk. The form is a great idea but I have to force her out of the house just to get it notarized so we just came together to the location instead. So now I have my disabled grandmother & my 3 children to come get the vehicle before 6 still. Then when a driver shows up and doesn’t even ask when he sees a family who was waiting with kids at the gate if they had an appointment. After 5 minutes when he deliberately acts we are invisible til I have to call back again and ask where the associate is who I had an appointment with over 45 minutes ago to meet for my vehicle. No apology for the no show of their person, not even a call that the guy was late nonetheless. Barely got an apology just for waiting with kids. In light of situation I sill was nice to the driver who still showed no customer service. And still waiting over 20 minutes for a receipt after he was asked to help us finally at 353pm. Yea consideration is unreal. If I wouldn’t have called I would’ve been later after 6pm and got another fee for their inconvenience. Shouldn’t be a 11:40am - 4:12pm ordeal when the appointment was made for over 3 hours in advance. Lost my whole day and with my children to wait when I had plans for them I rescheduled for 4pm because this appointment.

You ever get a tow truck driver that jumps out with a smile, greets you with a handshake, helps you figure out why the car wont turn over, then gently loads your baby onto the flatbed, taking into consideration the low ride height of the car so as to not cause any damage, then carefully strapping down your custom wheels, right before jumping in the cab and giving you a ride home in a super clean, excellent smelling tow truck, all the while just being the nicest guy out with a great attitude? Well...that happened to me last night, Enrique is a champion of a human being. Stepps Towing....good job for employing people like him. I would have gladly paid double for that type of kind, customer service based interaction.

My friend payed for this towing company and they left her stranded for 4 hrs because her car was lowered (NOT EVEN THAT LOW) and they refused to tow the car. Terrible.

Horrible company. Was stranded on the side of the highway for nearly 5 hours in the hot Florida sun. No AC in the broken down vehicle. They estimated an hour to and hour and a half. Would NOT recommend this towing service to anyone with half a brain.

After waiting for three hours on a no show tow service, I finally called Stepps. They were there within 30 minutes. The gentleman that helped us was extremely helpful and kind. I would highly recommend their service to anyone stranded!

Im a long haul truck driver. I wish I could give a negative rating. Avoid Stepps towing or you will be Stepping into a big pile of $#!t. I was quoted a flat fee for no more than 4 hours. The tow trucks drive shaft broke while it was towing my truck and they are trying to stick me with a bill for the time their POS tow truck was down. Had me on hold for over 35 min, then transferring me from operator to operator. No customer service, just a bunch of lip service. Then to add insult to injury they tried to charge me for 2 days of my trailer being in their yard when it wasnt in there for 24 hours. Stepps reasoning? They go by calendar days. So if you are there from 11 p.m. til 1 a.m. they will charge for 2 days. They say their practices are fair and legal. They are not. They are exactly what is wrong with businesses crushing smaller businesses. They do it because they can.

We had no complaints with the driver. Management was rude, they charged me $214.00 when my car was towed due to accident. Show up and they wanted cash, only cash. They did not care what was said, they were just rude. Behind times, who carries around money, then they had not change had to go down the street to get change for $20.00. Unprofessional!!!
