DONT MOVE HERE!! They hit you with trash bills, pest control bills, and more even if you don’t use them! This information was left out so we weren’t informed about these fees until 3 months into the lease!! Which is $200 more than what we were told prior to moving in. The managers are very lazy!! If you get neighbors that purposely make noise to make you upset don’t even bother moving here. Alyssa who is the manager won’t do anything about it, put in multiple complaints for nothing & now we have to deal with loud noises at 1 o’clock at night with a baby that is being woken up from it! We hear our neighbors bathroom conversations as if they were standing right next to us. There is at least 10 water stains on my roof, stains in the tub, the paint job is horrible! The gate is never fixed, it’s been broken since we moved in so false advertising, it’s not a gated community! They have a car wash that’s broken! Nothing in the car wash works but the vacuum, which doesn’t pick up anything! Save yourself the hassle and the disappointment!
There are some good things about this community but also some bad. They are all like that I suppose, some just better than others. I like the layout, especially the large kitchen and the carpet pad is really thick so hopefully Im not making too much noise for my downstairs neighbor. Unfortunately there is pretty much no insulation in the walls. I dont know if the complex is old and it all settled or if there just never was any. You can hear people talking in the next unit as well as TV and music. (My neighbors are watching an action film right now.) Speaking of noise...one of the front gates (which are broken as much as other reviewers say) makes a horrible noise when they open. I dont know how the people in the leasing office stand it. And speaking of the leasing office staff...so far Ive encountered one person who is competent and works hard to help you. Another who never seems to know what is going on and the other two seem to actually work at being as unhelpful as possible. Hopefully the unhelpful ones will get promoted to another property and well get some more people who actually care that the tenants are human beings.
I feel quite at home in my new apartment. Thanks Jared for answering all my questions and helping me with a smooth moving experience. My puppy and myself appreciate it!
The walls and floors and very thin and you here everything going on around you. The A/C always leaks, use a garbage bag and not a cup to drain the water out.
Amazing office staff! They are always quick to respond to any inquiries. Great, well maintained property with a friendly community. Love the property! Molly is amazing!
Probably the longest but most truthful review you will ever read... In short, I have had the WORST experience at Century Crosstown Apartments.NOISE: First of all, three months after moving in we had the unfortunately luck of having new neighbors move in upstairs. Our new neighbors blast their music, stomp on the floor, talk loudly and are up until all hours of the night. Despite us bringing this to the front office attention, we were told there was nothing they could do. Despite several audio recordings, the situation worsened over time.PET-FRIENDLY: Fast forward, 1-2 more months my boyfriend and I decided to get a Puppy... we figured it was perfect since we both worked from home and Century had several Dog Parks making it extremely dog-friendly. Unfortunately, we started noticing fleas on our pup. Like any other pet owner we treated the dog, took all precautions and continuously cleaned out our apartment. We started carrying our dog into our car and driving down the block to see if the puppy would still get fleas and to our amazement - he didnt. We did this for a few weeks, and then one random day decided to just walk him outside our apartment like any other resident just to test and see if the Front Office did anything about the flea infestation. Unfortunately, we found 4 fleas on our dog after just one walk. Needless to say weve been walking him down the block ever since.MAINTENANCE: In a matter of one week, we experienced two leaks in our apartment. Surprise, surprise the leak was due to our upstairs neighbors negligence. They tried running their dishwasher with a clogged garbage disposal. A second leak happened about 4 days later, Throughout both leaks we had documents, paperwork and a laptop computer get ruined.SUMMARY: We have had a rough several months at Century to say the least. I will admit that if we had different upstairs neighbors, the place would not be so bad. However the truth is, our upstairs neighbors ruined everything...and then theres the fleas. For anybody still reading, we did find a solution to this with the management company.
I don’t understand.. does this complex need to take notes from the one directly across the street? because their gates are never broken yet over here they don’t last longer than a day. it’s been this way for yearsalso, when will the gym be open at all hours like advertised??? residents are paying for this amenity and cannot use it if they have a job!
The leasing process was a little difficult and sometimes its a little hard to get through to them but they came through for me and got me my dream home. We moved down from Chicago and that was a stressful process but Molly and Alyssa were great and patient. And when we got here Shadreka greeted us with open arms. Our apartment is beautiful and I will recommend to anyone looking to rent in the Tampa area!
Why am I being charged for carpet removal after moving out when that’s normal wear and tear ? My carpet was in mint condition no pets no kids I was barley home . That carpet would have to be cleaned regardless for the New tenant .i knew getting my deposit would be an issue and not to mention my last days there I was 3weeks without air conditioning!thank god it’s cold, they refused to fix it Maintance gave up after 3rd attempt to fix it ....I guess they knew I was moving anyways. I like the area of apartment but management has changed.
I lived here for 2 years and would 100% recommend century to anyone looking for a home. The community is well kept, great amenities, rarely was there any issues in the apartment and when there was... maintenance always arrived in a timely manner. Molly, Alyssa, Shay, and the rest of the staff were all awesome and always helpful. 5 stars!!
Pros of the community are:Staff is friendly and always helpfulApartments are modern and look niceGrounds are well maintained
My husband and I moved here just two months ago but love this community! Its like living at a resort every day. Our neighbors are very friendly and when we visit the office we are treated with kindness and offers to help. We occasionally bring our dog and she is treated even better than we are! :) We also utilize and enjoy the amenities such as the dog park, pool area, pool room and especially the fitness center. We highly recommend Century Crosstown!
Century crosstown is a great community. Staff is helpful and the grounds are beautiful. More attention can be paid to upkeeping and upgrading existing amenities - it often feels like parts of the property are neglected (horseshoes, gates etc) and the community can upgrade technology (smart apartments etc) accordingly. Some walls are thin, and we can hear upstairs dance choreography, but then we go days with our hearing anything . Close to everything, but quiet and secluded - love it
Such a quiet and friendly environment. The staff is so bubbly and inviting. It really feels warm and welcoming. Only thing I would get rid of us the worms that keep finding their way in my apartment.
When will the security gates be fixed...? I see posts over a year old complaining about it. Why are residents paying for this amenity if it does not even work.Edit: it’s been over a year since comments about fixing the gate on other posts. Everyone would like to see this taken care of asap
Like the apartments wish grills and fire pits worked. Since we have lived here, there is usually something broken in the community or the gates have been damaged by a member of the community. Even with social distance it would be nice to be able to know that the area that we live is being taken care of and respected.
So far it has been a great experience. Move-in paperwork was easy and straight forward and the office was pretty communicative through the entire process. The only complaint is I think we could pressure wash more frequently. Some of the units have algae on the doors.
Century Crosstown continues to amaze us with their customer service. The grounds and apartments are very nice and modern. Anything that has gone wrong or is broken is fixed in a very timely manner and the staff is happy to do so! The community manager, Molly has worked with us throughout our lease and we feel blessed to have a staff that takes care of our needs so well. Alyssa and Shay are also wonderful! Would highly recommend this community to anyone, especially families. Very safe!
Transferred apartments for health reasons. There was severe damage that was half fixed showing water damage. The office refused to do a mold test. Then the day before I had to leave to be with my father due to cancer, we had a major water leak in 4 spots in my apartment. I went and spoke with management and told them my situation and asked for this not to be a problem to be resolved as I had to be out of town. They assured me that no it would not be and it has turned into a disaster and added extreme stress and side effects to my wife still in the apartment. I called corporate several times as well and no one would return a call
Awesome place to live! Beautiful home and friendly, fun and serene environment! All of the staff has been amazing! I love space of my home, the amenities this community has to offer and luxuriousness of my home.
Everything was prepared and well organized. The unit smelled clean and get felt clean. Neighbor is quiet. Doggie bags available. The employees were kind.
Only upside to the complex it was a quiet place. I was looking to transfer to another apartment in the same complex they quoted me a price and a move in date (Aug 4th), they rushed me to put in an application and pay the application fee. After they came to do an inspection one of the managers told me that the apartment wouldn’t be ready in August it would be ready in September and my rent would be $60 extra a month because of the mistake that they made. The property manager refuses to honor the quote given to me originally. Also the paint is very cheap you cannot wipe it without it coming off. And the whole complex has a silverfish problem.
Century Crosstown is peaceful, feels safe, has good amenities, friendly leasing staff and the apartment is spacious and modern. There is however one issue.. some of the general amenities (grills, gym, restrooms) have poor maintenance. Most of the grills are full of grease and ants, the gym has a very strong shoe closet odor and the bathrooms also smell quite bad. Were these details to improve, I would gladly rate 5 stars, as it still remains as one of the best places Ive lived in.
Shay at Century Crosstown has made our move as smooth as possible. From getting all of the paperwork done through our move-in and even follow-up afterward, it has been a great experience.
This place was excellent! The staff (Molly and Alyssa) were very friendly throughout the leasing process and continued to be very available and helpful throughout my time here. I thought the apartments themselves were great - especially for the price. I never had a problem with anything going wrong to be honest This place is very accommodating if you have a dog – they do a great job at landscaping maintenance which makes it enjoyable to take walks. The amenities were also great to have.I think my only issue would be the gates were broken a lot - not too big of a deal as the area is safe. I moved for work, but if this location suites you I would highly recommend this place.
Weve lived here about 2 months now. So far we love it. The neighbors are all friendly. The staff is also very nice. Clean property. Lots of events throughout the months for residents. Great pool area, gym, and clubhouse. We live on the second floor and upstairs neighbors are loud, but doesnt bother us that bad. Gates have several issues, but we always feel safe here. Really great location also. Close to so many things like the Brandon Town Center, Top Golf, Hwy 301, SR 60, faulkenberg. We like it a lot.
Stay away from this place! Looks nice initially, but after 6 months of being here we have had nothing but problems. Moved in to flea infested apartment... didnt come spray when they said they would. Air has broken 3 times. Freezer has broken. Shower didnt drain on move in day. Gates never work. When you email apartment manager about a gas leak on a grill that burned off all of your boyfriends leg hair she ignores you.. even if you sent it 3 different times. Place is not what it seems.
I love living here! We recently moved in and have been blown away by the staff, the apartments, the grounds and everything in between! We toured 21 different complexes and I am glad I chose century crosstown!
I love living here! Its a great place for dogs. Multiple dog parks and even a dog wash station. Great for dogs to mingle and make friends. The kitchen is beautiful, and the bedrooms are a great size. And the staff is very friendly and helpful, as well as professional.
Have lived here for 6 months now and its a nice upscale apartment. Amazing Kitchen! The community and surrounding Crosstown Center area is very calm and peaceful. Crosstown Center also has nice walkways for morning/evening walk or jog.
Beautiful community, with compassionate management team, and friendly diligent maintenance crew. I have so enjoyed the social events, theyre very well planned and engaging.
German Cockroaches!!! (Picture of bites on my back from them!!!)When we first moved in we were amazed at the new appliances, landscape and the central location. After a few months we began to notice the quality of the apartment. The paint was very cheap, the AC would go in and out and neighbors had GERMAN COCKROACHES! We called constantly to get matters fixed and all they did was place a band aid on it to fix the situations temporarily. The last straw was the German Cockroaches. Apparently our neighbors who lived right above us had a huge impact and we found out by the exterminator knocking on our door to come inspect our home. At the time we didn’t have them but shortly after they made their way to our apartment. I’ve called corporate several times and I get forwarded to a mailbox to leave a message (which still hasn’t been returned). Like I said the apartments are beautiful but they need to get to the root of the issues. It just doesn’t seem fair that I had to break my lease to get out of this situation and still have to pay when this was totally out of my control.Update: It’s been 4 months and I still haven’t heard from the corporate office. I’ve called, left messages and added this review. This is so sad and unfortunate.
Its a nice place, I like very much the staff, I like my apartment, I like everything. Its perfect for me and my family. I recommend 100%.
This apartment complex is one of the best I’ve ever lived in. What makes it really great is the Apartments Life Team!!! I’ve never lived somewhere that they had community activities and parties where I’ve gotten to meet other neighbors, enjoy food trucks, introduce my puppy and generally feel so welcomed.
My husband and I moved in about a month ago and we love our new apartments. The community is so nice and clean. The apartment itself is breathtaking and the kitchen....omg, it is so luxurious. The gym is a great size and is open 24 hours. The pool is beautiful and we even have a car wash station. There are multiple bark parks around the community and the community is always having something going on. We have Food Trucks here mostly every Wednesday and the management staff are amazing. We are very happy to be living in this community and all of our family members are completely blown away then they come in every time. This area is great and very conveniently located by the mall, shopping and restaurants. We couldnt be happier to live here.
This place appeared to be great in the beginning my husband and I even moved to another floor...the first floor to be exact and ever since we moved in it’s been a total nightmare; I can’t wait until our home is built the courtesy officer sucks as well as the people in the leasing office all but one person I should say....there is this lady with an animal for a kid who runs and jumps all day long even at night...it even knocked down our picture frames in less than 20/25 mins of them being up, there was even a confrontation between the neighbor and I and guess what was done absolutely nothing!!.. the people at the office minus that one person didn’t do anything but ask us to record the banging and running....they do nothing but sit in the office and do nothing! Any other apartment community is better than this one...
Love Century Crosstown!! It is a beautiful property with many amenities and the office staff is wonderful!! My wife and I enjoy everything that the community has to offer the neighbors are always friendly and it is very pet friendly community. Great location with easy access to the Selmon expressway and the causeway.
Lived here for a year. I have zero complaints at all. Great place to live. Quiet and clean. The management is fast, professional and very efficient to your inquiries and maintenance follow up.10/10 would recommend this place.
PLEASE READ ALL OF THE REVIEWS BELOW BEFORE WAISTING YOUR $20,000+. I have never written a bad review in my life but our experience at this place was HORRIBLE!!! The staff is sorry as hell!! From the Manager Patricia to the Assistant Manager Molly down to the Sales associate APRYL. There were several issues brought to their attention that was never attended to or resolved. EVERYTHING IS CHEAP!! THE PAINT, APPLIANCES, CARPET, FIXTURES AND AC UNITS. None of the Amenities EVER WORK so please dont let them sale you on that. The pool, the fire pits, the car wash stations or the gates. I wish that I could go into detail about everything but in a nutshell THIS PLACE SUCKS!! LOOKS GOOD but SUCKS!!
I moved into Century Crosstown in July of last year. I love it here. Close to everything. Ive read the previous reviews. First, the office staff is more than accommodating. Ive always had speedy work orders done. Second, you cant blame the office staff for the actions of those in the complex. We do have people who disrespect the rules and speed. If you dont make notes and turn them in, how is the office responsible? There are also tenants who are just plain pigs. They leave dog droppings on the ground, they put trash on the street. Again, turn them in if you see them. Smoking is a problem and again turn people in who are violating the rules. Dont complain and do nothing and then blame the office staff. Molly and team are always there if you need them. Apartments are nice and well laid out. Overall, Century Crosstown is a great place to live.
Do not rent here. You would be better of renting anywhere else around the area. They do not take care of their people, they do not keep up with maintenance around the property (the gates are notoriously broken, the trash compactor is now a dumpster in the driveway) and they would rather throw stuff out that is left behind than to try and reach you to see if you left it by accident.
Me and my fiancé have lived at these apartments for 3 years (2016-2019) before relocating to a different city due to my job. Out of all the places weve lived - Century Crosstown is one of our favorites.Molly & Alyssa have been very understanding and accommodating. The maintenance team always addressed any issues in the apartment within the same day our work order was placed.Pros:- Quiet- Clean Clubhouse & Resort Style Pool- Clubhouse was accessible 24/7 which worked out for printing last minute things- Clean work out center- Within 15 minutes of everything Tampa, Brandon, or Riverview has to offer- Business district, spacious land around apartment complex to walk/ run- Friendly management & staff - they will listen to your concerns- Neighbors keep to themselves- Property is landscaped every week - The landscape team is also friendly- Food trucks every Wednesday- CARES team always had events - never participated but it was nice to know the complex offered this consistently- Weve lived on the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd floor and never had an issues with bugs- Easy move in process!! We didnt know the area or seen the apartments before move in day.Cons:- Our dog had to get mouth swabbed upon signing the lease, so they know whos dog poop has not been picked up- Its an apartment complex - yes, there will be noise. yes, the bottom floor of all apartments will be dimly lit- Unless you have a garage, parking is on a first come first serve basis & is really tight the deeper you go in the complex- If you have children, there are no playgrounds, just 3 dog parks FYI- Make sure the granite counter tops are cleaned ASAP, theyre not sealedFor us, all the pros outweighed the cons & if we could move back, we would. Im giving Century Crosstown 5 stars because our current apartment complex is a nightmare and always reminds us of how peaceful it was there. Thanks for the time Century Crosstown!
Beware of this money hungry location! They will do anything to avoid giving you back your deposit at the end of your lease. I stayed at this location for almost 2 years and had to break my lease because I got another job opportunity out of state. I left my apartment in pristine condition, cleaned the oven, vacuumed the carpet etc. I was informed that they will not be able to issue my initial deposit back to me because the cheap vinyl in the bathroom was coming up and they hadnt had this issue in any other unit. That wouldnt be an issue had I not complained to them on 2 different occasions that the vinyl is coming up in the bathroom near the tub and they actually came out and glued the vinyl back down. So why are you charging me for the same issue happening again? The vinyl wasnt properly installed to begin with, it was simply glued down and of course with time and water exposure it will come up. This by no means is an expensive fix, it cost nothing to glue down the same way they have in the past, however they feel its worth my deposit. Ridiculous!! Not to mention the bug problem, my apartment was infested with Silver Fish and I complained time and time again...nothing! Lastly, my unit in building 9923 was right near the highway, I cant tell you the number of times my sleep was disrupted due to loud sirens, motorcyclist, and horns honking. The issue with this is that they did not disclose to me at the time of move in that I would be near a freeway and would be subjected to loud noises all times of the day. Management here is rude, and dismissive. I did not have a good experience with them. Parking is inadequate, if you get home after 4:30pm be prepared to drive several buildings down just to find parking. Parking is a real issue at night when its dark and unsafe. I do not recommend staying here when you can find comparable amenities literally right across the street for less money.
Very unhappy been with this property since April 2018 and they can never fix my A/C correctly. Went to the office serveral times and the Head Guy over Maintance is very Rude and disrespect. I am sick and tired of my A/c getting fix for the moment and it runs for a few days correctly but then it stop working. Air never blow into my room. I have very Bad Allergies which the office Manager is aware of this. But they still will not fix the problem. Four time they have came out to fix this unit. As of 8/08/2018 @ 3 the machine has not been working for hours. I am upset to be waking up out of my sleep and I can not breathe. I am Tired of this same problem.
My sister lives in this community and it is beautiful dont get me wrong BUT she lives like a prisoner in her own home that she pays good money to live. Shes had complaints about closing her cabinets for Gods sake?! The rules are ridiculous I wouldnt recommend this community to anyone
Cars get broken into, garbage never gets picked up, gates never work, maintenance never works, dog poop everywhere. Attached garage seem nice but they never give you one in your building and put you in a “waitlist”. Don’t let the photos and nice kitchens trick you; stay away from this property.
This place has some good and some bad, lets start with the bad, floors are thin so you hear your neighbor stomping allll the time or a dog running around... When things break it can sometimes take awhile to get fixed. Not the maintenance guys fault though, if they need a new part or something they have to order from a specific place. Corporate will not allow them to run to Home Depot like a normal place would. The maintenance guys are nice. My apartment has a mosquito problem. We get them gone and they come back.. Really annoying. Some of the amenities do not work from time to time. Like the grills and fire pits. But that also falls on the neighborhood and tenants cleaning up after themselves. The dog DNA charge is a joke... I see dog turds from time to time. The car wash hose is always broke. They fix it and then a tenant of course finds away to break it. Pool table sticks are all broken... The school district though is the problem for us... Its a bad school area... Nice area but the school zone area is bad.. Makes no sense.. Thats our reason for moving. Heres the good. The ladies in the office are nice, the scenery is beautiful. The pool is nice, the inside of the apartments look great. Nice floors, cabinets, and appliances. Very convenient to places like ybor, Brandon, the interstate... Walking distance to top golf...Nice place, but for the money we pay to live there, the amenities should be well better taken care of.
Ive lived here a little over 7 months and my biggest issue is how THIN these walls are. I can hear and Im sure my neighbors can hear EVERYTHING. I cant tell you how tired I am of hearing my neighbors bed creak! Also most of the amenities they boast dont ever work. Ive NEVER been able to use the car wash machine its always broken. The fire pits are all show and never have I once seen them work. Otherwise its a pleasant community, with great kitchens. However, I wont be renewing my lease and look forward to an upgrade in privacy!
If I could give this place negative stars, I would. This apartment complex was hands down the worst place I have ever lived at. When I first saw the model, I was blown away by the granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. I didnt get to see the apartment I would rent until the day I moved in...when my furniture was to be delivered within an hour of my receiving the keys.To say that I was horrified would be an understatement. There was animal hair ALL OVER the floor and carpet. It didnt even look like they had tried to clean it. I was disgusted but had no time to do anything about it. After the movers delivered all my furniture, I called management and asked them to do something about it. Did they send out a steam cleaner? No. They sent a maintenance guy with a regular vacuum. As you can imagine, that did nothing. The carpet had stains on it when I moved in. Guess who got charged for the stain removal when I moved out? I did.If those were all the issues I had I might have been more forgiving but the floors and walls of this complex are paper thin. I spent 12 months listening to the woman who lived above me clomp and stomp around EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, well into 2 AM and sometimes later. I only complained to management when she left her alarm clock on all night, which happened quite. Management alleged that they called her and spoke to her each time but it continued throughout the entire time I lived there. While this may not be so much of a management issue, if I continue to call and complain about someone who is truly disrupting my life as much as this woman was, I would sincerely hope that management would actually do something about it.To make matters worse, my AC kept going out. It started in May. It would work fine and then all of a sudden, the air would be on but the apartment would be getting hotter and hotter. I called management and they sent maintenance out who would fix it and then leave. But within a week, the air would again be on but only get hotter and hotter. I had a terrible feeling that something was seriously wrong with the AC unit and so for about 2 months this went on with my AC breaking every few weeks and maintenance guy fixing it. Come July 4th weekend, the AC finally dies. It is the dead of summer in Florida people. My apartment got up to 90 degrees. The best part? They needed to order a new part which they couldnt do until Monday. It ended up being a broken compressor or perhaps condenser (sorry, Im not an HVAC person). I spent two days without an apartment. This AC issue took place over the course of two months. I find it hard-pressed to believe that they had no idea that the compressor or condenser was at the end of its life given that it was looked at multiple times.I dont ever write reviews about anything...ever. But I honestly had to write one about this place. I thought I had hit the jackpot finding this complex, a quick hop on the crosstown to get to work, conveniently located near the mall and a ton of restaurants and really quite reasonably priced. NO. It is not worth the headache, the hassle and the money you will spend when they nickel and dime you over absurd fees when you move out. Take your money and live LITERALLY anywhere else in Tampa.
We love Crescent Crosstown... the people here are great. The property is beautiful and the staff is helpful, professional and efficient. The location is the best, with easy access to Tampa and Lakeland.
Friendly people, great service. The staff is quick to take care of problems as they arise. A pleasure to live here. Quiet.
I’ve lived at this complex for 2 years now, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. From the employees to the maintance crew, I give it 5 stars. I would give more if possible, any time I’ve ever had an issue with anything in the apt, maintance has always been very effecient & fixed it very quickly. The front desk employees are always so friendly, and answer all of my questions without question. The apartment itself is absolutely hands down beautiful, I love love love living here and I wouldn’t recommend any place else!! The manager (Patricia) is so sweet, if you have any questions then her or the Assistant manager molly are always there to help! Also the blonde girl (I think her name is Elisa) working in the front has always answered all my questions without making me feel dumb for asking, I’ve lost my key at least 2 or 3 times and every time I go up to the office I don’t have to feel judged about any of my concerns.
This place isnt what it seems and office staff forget it a bunch of bimbos that dont even know whats going on!! Moved in Feb. moving out at the end of June. Dont be lured in my the nice amenities that dont work. Neighbors that get away with complaining without knowing where things are coming from. False accusations about smoking and loud noises. Put in an emergency work order for a broken AC and it took them a week to come out and fix it, a week in an 80 degree apt. Ill take my 1,500.00 a month elsewhere.
I love it here, its very quiet, clean and has many nice amenities. Honestly its probably the first apartment that I have truly enjoyed living in. It does come at a higher price, but its definitely worth it.
Im sorry but I think there are WAY MORE IMPORTANT things going on at Century Crosstown Apartments than door slamming!Lets start with the 60.00 dog DNA fee you charge and there is dog waste EVERYWHERE!! Or how people disrespect the rules and employees of CENTURY CROSSTOWN smoke on the grounds and drive around the parking lot like its a raceway. The pool area and bathrooms are always filthy and the fire pits do not work. These are the issues that should be addressed as well.
The complex is nice, but the staff are picky on which rules they want to follow. Absolutely no smoking, but there is dog poop everywhere. The maintenance staff are slow when coming to fix anything, and every time I had them fix something, it wasnt fully fixed. I had to have 2 service calls to fix my ac after waiting 3 days for the first fix. Three days later it went out again because the guy didnt fix it properly. These apartments are too expensive for the half-assed service youll get. I recommend looking elsewhere if you want to enjoy your complex and the staff that comes with it.
Absolute waste of time! In the digital age, why do I have to come in to get pricing for an apartment Im not even sure I want? That is just absurd. It should be provided on your website! Oh wait but then you cant pressure people if you provided them with details via the website. Regardless of if I come in or not, If I dont want it then I just dont F*ing want it! Had to go out of my way to get pricing and details just to find out it was not within the range I was willing to pay. Somebody should tell these people that $1,300 a month for a 1 BEDROOM APARTMENT is ridiculous. No matter how luxury it is, ITS. STILL. AN. APARTMENT. You still have to deal with paper thin walls and someone living below or beneath you or in some cases Both !Ive rented 4 BDR HOUSES for cheaper! I guess thats why they dont put the prices online, they figure if they get you in the door they can sucker you into paying these ridiculous prices. I told the blonde chick 3x I did not want to put in an application and she still kept pushing! Whats even worse is she was doing this while training another girl. Had the prices been online I would have never stopped in to begin with and saved us both sometime.
Ive lived here for about a year now and have resigned my lease for another 13 months. Moved from a 2 bedroom to a one bedroom. I absolutely love this place. Upscale living and quality for reasonable price. The office staff is phenomenal and very quick to help you with whatever you need. Im obsessed with the pool area and the gym rocks for the basics too. You can use the main front building whenever you need to. Theres a huge TV and some other entertainment in there. Ive had a few pool cookouts with close friends and always have the best time. They throw events all the time where stuff is free to the residents, wine wednesday, tacos on cinco de mayo, you name it. Theres a different food truck about once a week too. Pet friendly, 3 awesome dog parks. Maintenance is super nice and is always quick to take care of problem and Molly the property manager is quick to follow up and replies to emails very quick. The location couldnt be any better there is never any traffic getting out of the complex and onto the main roads. Extremely conveniently place since it is on either side of two main roads that have everything youll ever need from grocery stores to any restaurant or home shopping place you can think of. Even a mall about a mile away. The selmon expressway is right there too so youre in downtown or SOHO in 15 minutes if need be. For fun there is also top golf, dave and busters, and an indoor skydive place basically across the street. You wont ever have to leave Brandon. I have lived in 5 other apartments before and have never been treated so great and loved a place so much. I wont be leaving here until Im forced to move out of Tampa.
Just moved in, love the area, the apartment and April from the office was amazing, thank you :*
These people very obviously are posting fake 5 star reviews
I lived in this community for a little over two years. The location is great. It is close a lot of the retail outlets in Brandon and is right by the Expressway. The complex itself is nice, but has steadily declined over the last year or so. Likely contributed to a new management company taking over. The amenities, which are a primary selling point for management, are not well kept. The car wash rarely works, grills and fire pits are usually without propane. The pool area is kept nice, and it is a very nice pool. The apartments themselves are also nice, good layouts. The worst part of the community, in my opinion, is the management. They are not very accomodating at all, and dont seem to care about the residents. They only care about their policies and procedures. Rent was one day late one month (due to their online system not being able to post due to a holiday weekend or some nonsense) and I was promptly delivered a warning of lease violation and possible eviction notice along with a late fee. This was the only time in the two years rent was late, and it was one day on a weekend where they knew there were system complications so a check was required. Not very friendly or understanding. Then upon moving out I was charged an additional day as the keys were not dropped off on time. I finished cleaning on a Sunday evening when the office was closed, and instead of dropping the keys in their make-shift rent drop box (an exposed folder in the mail area) I opted to return them the following morning in person. The FOBs are $25 or $50 a piece and I advised I wasnt comfortable just leaving them in the drop area. Again, management did not care. Their policies state that they HAVE TO charge an additional day. Whether the management company is inept or just doesnt care, it is not a friendly and welcome environment. Management is simply inflexible. If youre looking for location, it is tough to top this one in Brandon. If you want a friendly, and professional, environment where youre more than just a number or lease.. I would recommend looking elsewhere in the area.
