Horrible experience. I had a reservation for a 20 footer that was GUARANTEED to me online at 12:30. Came to this location EARLY to check on things and they tell me that someone was suppose to come fix the truck but they never came. They never called me to notify me, nor did they send a email. I now have no way to move my home across state lines. They aren’t considerate of others lives.They did offer me $50 and another truck but my belongings won’t fit. Very disappointed. Never again.
If you decide to rent from this location you better bring the truck back with more gas than they gave you because if not you are going to get a fat fee on your receipt

I highly recommend this location. My experience very pleasant. The customer service was professional and helpful. Well stocked. My truck was ready for me at the agreed time slot. The experience contributed to a smoother move. I just wished that there was a location with same customer service near me on Apalachee Parkway. I will have to check and see. Good customer service is not always easy to find in a gone mad. So I am thankful.
Wow...words cant describe how horrible it has been to deal with these people at this U-Haul location. In person I’ve had terrible experiences but by far the worst was trying to get them on the phone. Just to make a simple reservation edit I called over thirty times over two weeks along with my wife calling an additional 15 times and not one time did they answer their phone. We are out of town so we cant just go there to talk to them directly otherwise we would as that is the only way to get a hold of them. Seriously avoid U-Haul at any cost if you can. Go with some other mover. Nothing is worth your time being wasted like this. Horrible businesses have to die out or adapt and pick up their phones.
Avery and Stan were very friendly and helped my wife set up an appointment for us to rent a truck. They also helped her with the boxes and wrap out the building and out it in the car. Now that is amazing customer service. Very fine young men. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I was hoping to have a contact free experience at this location. Apparently the location did not get the memo. I thought I would be able to scan and get in a vehicle and leave. That was not the case. I had to interact and go through the same procedure as I did through the app and online, which defeats the purpose of me using the app.Why would you give the option to do some thing contact free when it is not so once you get to the location to pick up the equipment? The whole experience cost me time and energy.

I originally rented a Van. I did not need anything bigger. They did give me two options. To pick up an upgrade which wound up being way to big and to much gas money, or wait 5 hours to get something smaller. I unfortunately picked the 26 due to time constraints not knowing how hard this would be to drive. When I went to the second option later, they said at no point did they have the cargo van available. We were stuck driving this enormous vehicle with brakes and steering hard to control for our 7 hour drive back to Miami. Very disappointed.
They change the location of my reservation. I had been having network problems with my provider. So, most likely I couldnt be reached by phone. Once I got to the other location, I was two hours late. They overly compensated me for the extra mileage and were very compliant with my request and patient in hearing my complaint. Over-all an excellent experience.
Booked a reservation over two weeks ago and I still do not know of a pick up location for truck and car hauler rental. I have movers coming in two days and U-Haul seems to care less.
Phenomenal customer service! Highly recommended this location. There was a bit of a hiccup with getting a trailer/hitch. Jonathan immediately resolved the issue in the most efficient and helpful way. I cannot thank him enough.
The location on W. Tennessee St is horrible and unprofessional. I called several times and they don’t answer. I called them while their and only one person was assisting someone and no one pick up the phone. I tried to return the truck early and do the mobile site as online by their door but it stated it could not find my contract. So I took pictures of the dashboard and placed the keys in the drop box. I have been calling all day to verify that the return went through with no issues and no one answered the phone and I never received a confirmation email. I finally got a hold of Alex at that location around 2:40. He was unhelpful and disinterested in helping me. He stated that it was returned and an email went out earlier. I informed an email was never received and I get an email at that exact moment. I informed him that he just sent this email since I said something and he was like “OK...”. Looked at the receipt and saw that I was being charged more than what I was quoted for in the beginning for 20 miles. Mind you I only used 6 miles. Asked him why is that and he stated it’s the after hours fee. Stated to him why would I be charged an after hour fee for your company website telling me that they can’t find me. He stated if you don’t like it call the 1-800 number on the website. Then I tried to leave a review and it tells me oh you already left a review when I know damn well I haven’t but now I definitely will on every platform. I will never use your services again nor will I recommend anyone to do so if this is how you treat your customers and the games your company play.
Would not rent a car dolly to pull a Nissan pickup 2 miles down the road because (according to the computer) a Chevy Duramax 2500HD isnt rated to tow it. Absolutely ridiculous.Ill never go back to UHaul again.
Night shift staff has bad customer service horrible communication and basically just left me standing out in the cold because they didnt want to refund I mean close it out they dont want to take the key and return my money I feel like so it was really horrible returning it but the pickup process was great it was very clean the guy was very nice but the two guys from the night shift were disrespectful horrible and limited communication was given thank you try somebody else customer service is very important

I had a trailer hitch and wiring installed on a 2018 Escape. They performed the service quickly and were friendly and helpful with setting up another reservation for a trailer, but left terrible scratches on my car under both of the taillights. It was careless and unprofessional.
The location was very understaffed. The employees who were there were helpful but they were not prepared for the number of customers who needed help. The wait times to call into this location were also horrible, likely stemming from the understaffing problem.
This has been without a doubt the worst service I have received in my life, whether in the food or retail industry. I picked up my truck this morning with relative ease and came back later today to get my auto transport before leaving town. Its been two hours since I got here and have done the following: stood in line inside for 90 minutes while only one store associate was either helping customers or not even inside the store, and stood outside for 30 minutes staring at the auto transport reserved for me (at the front of the line) while employees have either assisted other customers first or neglected my existence.I was expecting to travel today and arrive at my destination with all my belongings by 6pm but will be lucky to make it by 9pm due to the horrible mismanagement and lack of customer service. This is my first ever online review and its because I strongly advise against using this location if at all possible.
I had a custom hitch installed on my car and these guys did quality work. My plans were to tow a trailer behind my car to New Mexico but after a string of unforeseen events I ended up having to turn back halfway there. When I returned the trailer McKenzie offered to charge me a daily rate instead of a one way rate which amounted to me getting $160 back. This really made my day and I recommend anyone go there.
Installed hitch and wiring harness on my new car. Capital Hitch wouldn’t even call me back, these guys did it in a few hours. I think this is the most streamline place for hitch installs in town
This place is scam shack. The trucks are beat up, scrapes and dents everywhere, and the rental agreement verification process is nothing more than a set up to get you to pay thousands for previous damage. Moreover, the attendants will not sign off on existing damage. The alternative is to pay an extra $30/day plus taxes for nebulous insurance to avoid additional charges. The advertised charges are $30-40/day. The actual charges are closer to $150 or more/day once taxes, mileage, gas and other fees are factored in. Boxes or packing blankets will cost you yet more. One is better off getting a friend with a pick-up and buying them pizza.
This is my first online review but I honestly have never had such a bad experience with a company that I was compelled enough to leave a review. Place is an absolute joke of a business. None of the employees seem to understand whats going on. I had to wait in the store for 30 min for what seemed like the only person working there to look at me. Hitch installation took 4 days and 3 different appointments. I almost applied for a management position so I could teach these people how to run a business. Dont even bother coming to this location. Try literally any one of the other U-hauls. Sheesh
I reserved the truck at Uhaul Northeast in Tallahassee two days in advance. The day before pickup, I received a text saying I should pick up the truck at 3726 Mahan. There were no trucks the there and the manager refused to help me. I had to call Uhaul and get a different location. This caused me to lose 1.5 hours of time I planned for loading and moving. I picked the truck up at Uhaul Florida State. The manager there was very professional and helpful.
I rented a truck and returned it with all equipment still attached and unopened, but received an additional charge for a dolly that I did not use. I called the company and was told that the general manager of the location was busy and that she would get back to me within 72 hours. That has not happened. I will be actively telling people not to use this location.
Staff was super helpful and service was quick. We were in a pinch and needed a truck right away. They suggested lower rate option to save us $ and switched out hitch to fit our camper. Ill likely not be back because I am out of state, but if you live here, I suggest that you use this location.
Rarely do I feel compelled enough to write a review on google, but my experience with Uhaul has prompted me to do so. Let me break the situation down so other customers can avoid this store and company like the plague.I had made a reservation for a 15 truck ~ 2 weeks in advance. When I arrived at the designated time to pickup my truck, I was told I had to go to another location to get it. No advance notice of this change. I arrive at the second location and Im told theres no truck available there either. I speak with the controller over the phone and Im told the closet truck is nearly 100 miles away. So they expect me to drive there, install a hitch onto my car, drive back pulling my car, and then load the truck in the middle of the night. Believe it or not, my moving help couldnt remain available all day to help, so I would have had to load my furniture in the truck alone. My apartment lease was also ending and I had to be in another city for a meeting the following day. To avoid losing my security deposit I had to throw away my furniture (since I had nowhere to store it). I lost time, money, and furniture as a result. In addition, it took 3 weeks and 10+ calls to finally get in contact with someone with any type of authority at Uhaul. Just for them to tell me they wont be compensating me for anything.I would give 0 stars if possible.

This place is chaos. I came 15 minutes early to pick up a truck that I reserved 2 weeks prior. It took them forever to get me in a truck. I was given the wrong truck. I came back with in a hour and so workers could check the truck in. The guy tried to tell me to leave the truck without checking it in after charging me twice the amount I was supposed to be charged. I will NEVER use this office again.

Buyer beware!! I was given a proposal for a storage pod delivery and pick up. Once they had the pod in their possession, they would not deliver it until they charged me a second time. This is bate and switch. They said that someone quoted me incorrectly, but they would not remove the second charge. There are many other better, less expensive options out there. Get everything in writing if you decide to do business here.
Absolutely a horrible experience. They are extremely disorganized. I called for a delivery on the the 23rd and asked for a time frame. They said they would get back to me. I called again the next day and they said they would confirm before the day was over. I did not hear back. Called again a third time and did not hear back. 23rd came and went. Called corporate and they responded. Delivery day came and they had to cancel. Forklift was broken. Boxes finally came filled with ANTS. Box just had books and clothes, and furniture. This was just half the struggle. They wanted to charge an extra 380 dollars for some missing furniture pads. I strongly suggest using another company if you are moving. We did the online schedule but had to make 30 phone calls to correct everything. You get online access to check status. Good thing since Boxes were being shipped to the Wrong location.
Never go to this location they lie and say they refund you and dont even take the time to get your name...so how do you know of i was refunded you dont even know my name. Youll be better off renting a truck form enterprise or asking a family member to help you out. I made a reservation for a 10’ truck TWO weeks ago at this uhaul which is only 5 minutes away from my home. On the day before I’m supposed to pick up the truck, I get notified that the closest location with the truck that I need is in Thomasville, an hour away from my house.
Made a reservation here to move to south FL and I was forced to drive to Bambridge, GA because they didn’t have my truck there the day I went to pick it up. I booked with the manager and dealt with him on my pick up day. He was unsympathetic and seemed to not care that the customer was inconvenienced. When I contacted customer service I was told that they have more reservations than physical trucks and there was nothing more they could do than add 100 miles to my estimated miles. I was then forced to load the truck with the hitch and my vehicle still attached because they refused to take it off so I could load the truck up. The entire experience was completely unprofessional and not how moving companies should handle business. This was my first experience with a moving company and I will never do business with Uhaul again. They deserve 0 stars.
Understaffed and really hard to spend money here when you have to wait 45 mins just to buy one item......this is Everytime I come here. Please staff more to allow customers not to waste so much time just trying to get what they need.

Staff was helpful and worked fast for me. Was sent from a local dealer uhaul to this location to install trailer wiring in my truck. I was there for no more than 30 mins. Was offered a seat in a clean waiting room, and even a drink. Couldnt have been a better experience
When all else fails when dealing with uhaul, these guys take up the slack and sort out whatever the central reservation system tosses up. Straightforward and polite, Maxxs management and no nonsense crew go hard, end of story.PS- Store could stand to have some music though.
Service here is si bad that it feels like they dontdneed customers. They even reduced de parking spaces. Thae wait when there is some cleck is ridiculous. Usually i find this store with no personnel heloing until someone just walks in like nothing is happening.

This place beat me out of 20 something dollars are $26 and some change I rented the truck I had 30 extra miles on it when I brought it back more than what I had originally thought I was going to have the original cost was $51 with the extra miles it came to 70 something my dollars I get home today I checked my bank app they have taken over $100 out of my account I am not happy and cant get anyone to respond on the phone

This is the worst u haul i have ever tried to rent from.This is the second time i try to rent from them and they just cant get it together.I made a reservation and asked them 3 times to make shore the truck will be there when i pick it up and they tell me it will 2 hours later the call back to tell me the truck is not going to be there. I would not recommend this uhaul to anyone.

I returned my truck a day before I was supposed to return the truck. I had just pumped $75 to fill the tank and the girl said it something sixteenths short of being full when it was obviously visually full so she charged me $15 more. Then she charged me an additional $40 telling me I kept the truck an extra day because i was supposed to return the truck at 10:30 am and it was 1:30 pm. So I was charged an additional $65 on top of the $396 I was already being charged! I was so exhausted after a 2 day move plus the eight hour drive here, I just paid it because she wouldnt budge! I have rented from different companies for years and they usually waive the extra B.S. Especially when they know it was their fault or a misunderstanding. Next time I will use Budget instead of dealing with rude nasty people that are only geared toward $$$ without having outstanding customer service!

I cannot believe someone like that is allowed to be employed in a company that interacts so closely with the costumers.I did my reservation online and when I went to pick up my U-Haul the manager did not let me get the van because my drivers license is from a foreign country, when their website and COSTUMER SERVICE says explicitly that you CAN. I had only one day to move all my stuff, this situation ruined everything and had to end up renting a car and spending way more money than I planned.Seriously, just DONT GO.

Really a terrible company in general their telephone systems are ridiculous and if you take out a storage unit it requires 24 hr notice to retrieve it for you but you cant leave a notice only corporate phone system can. Employees are lacksidazical and show no motivation or hustle when the line is out the fricken door. Dont come here if u know whats good for you!!
This company charges for miliage when other u haul companys dont then they will double charge your card, so please dont pay with your card.. they will come back and charge another 2 weeks down the road... poor services, you be told one thing by the rep, and the 1800 does another Do not follow up with this company, I am fight an over charge now with this bad as company...

Went to this store with my brother. Waited 45 minutes then asked to move my car as it was blocking someone trying to leave. Would have parked in the correct spot except they had trucks in the handicapped spots. Went to move my car and turned took one step then another and tripped over their display floor falling on a box with my right arm in it. I have a nerve handicap and banged my elbow inside the box on the way to the floor. Not even a sir are you ok or can I get you a chair like a piece of dirt. The made the police wait 25 minutes before the manager or owner came out to talk to the officer with me there. After all this they put a wet floor sign on the side I tripped on. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR STORE THEY ARE RUDE OBNOCCIOUS and said they would not rent to my brother if I filed a cliam.
The manager is a complete jerk, dont trust this Uhaul!He mistreated us and refused to let us take the vehicle because we had a foreign driver license, when clearly the website AND the customer service state thats enough.He ruined our whole moving day, too bad we relayed on this Uhaul.

Very inexperienced...food truck owners beware! We took our propane tank there and the guy wasnt familiar with the tank style and filled it incorrectly. When I hooked it back up to my truck it blew the valve and leaked half the gas out. We had to beg a repair man to come replace the valve on short notice because our opening day was the very next day....cost us $180 and could have caused an explosion and injuries. When it comes to gas...if you dont know what you are doing then DONT!!!!

I experienced countless problems when interacting with Uhaul for my out-of-state move. From the very start, customer service was severely lacking. First, Uhaul never provided me a courtesy call or text message to notify me of my truck availability the night before my move (as I was later informed at a different location is expected). When I arrived at the location, they informed me that they did not have a truck available for me (I had reserved a truck over a month earlier). They told me to drive 50 miles away to get a truck double to size of what I needed, as it was the only available truck in the area. I drove 50 miles away to the Uhaul at Keiths Auto Repair only to find that they were not open and were not answering their phone. Til this day, I have not received a return phone call from them. I drove back to the Tennessee location, and, when my father spoke to the manager about the problems we encountered and demanded good customer service (he was not rude to the manager) the manager pointed his finger in my fathers face in an antagonizing manner and told him that he would have to see if he had a truck available. He then disappeared and did not return to speak to us. My mother discovered that the manager was sitting in his darkly lit office, presumably hiding out from handling our situation. He eventually gave us a truck and trailer that evening, but when we got home we realized that there were no trailer brake lights-- they were never set up. My mother spent hours on the phone trying the have the situation remediated. The solution proposed was that we drive the truck and trailer back to the Tennessee Street without brake lights. I was stunned that Uhaul would propose a solution that was not only dangerous, but also illegal! A service truck eventually came out to my house to fix the problem after approximately 5 or so hours on the phone with Uhaul. They fixed the problem efficiently and actually provided good service. I dont expect as a paying customer in a business situation to be treated in such an unprofessional manner. Uhaul is severely lacking in organization, customer service skills, and professionalism.
Guy named Maxx was in the restroom then when he got out he left us waiting without introduction and was sitting on a chair not acknowledging our existence. Worst cx service ever he had an attitude

Terrible customer service, avoid this place at all costs. Go to the UHaul on Capital Circle instead. The GM is so unwilling to work with customers even though they have repeatedly used this location for a number of years.
Good help getting our box and trailer hooked up. They twisted a long chain in a way Ive never see before to secure the trailer to the truck.

Set an appointment to install trailer wiring harness at 8am. Arrived at 7:50 and was told by the only employee that help doesn’t arrive till 10am and she will take walk in customers over my car. It’s now 9:30 and my car was just pulled around to the mechanic bay.
