Truck was clean. I reserved 2 furniture dollys, a month before, but they didn’t have any. Drop off was super easy.
I rented a 15 foot truck for a very short afternoon move. The checkout process was easy but the lady who checked me out did not review the contract with me she just folded it up and handed it to me with my license. When I picked up the truck from Uhaul it had 3/4 tank of gas. I returned the truck with slightly over 3/4 tank of gas. After returning the truck I noticed I was billed $17.50 for 5 additional gallons of gas. I called to ask why and the guy who answered the phone said the truck was at 7/8 when I rented it. I told him this was a mistake. I rented at 3/4 and returned with slightly over 3/4. The mileage on the contract showed that I only drove the truck 7 MILES. I put over $10 gas back into the truck to bring it back to 3/4 but upon return I was charged for an additional 5 gallons of gas for a 7 Mile trip! The guy on the phone said it didn’t matter. He was very rude and said it was my fault for not catching it when I rented the truck. The contract said 7/8 and I had to pay for an additional 5 gallons of gas. There was no reasoning with him. I told him I was going to call corporate and he hung up on me. I called Uhaul corporate and they are issuing a refund. The customer service agent at corporate was pleasant and was able to look at the situation and see there was most likely an error. It would have been very hard to bring the gas from 7/8 to 3/4 for a 7 mile trip even if I didn’t put $10 gas back into the truck like I did.
Fast and easy pick up and return of moving vehicles. Friendly staff and great service overall.
Extremely poor customer service. The easiest task to do is to win your customers with kindness and professionalism on helping your customers understand their options when there are plenty of options. The owners need to understand what kind of staff they are investing into. On July 25, 2020 @2:00pm... This staff of two woman working your front counter are costing you money if potential paying customers, such as myself, are walking out with a horrible experience never willing to return. The town is full with plenty of options from which are willing to make a sale. Good luck.
The local store has been great but the online approval stage at the time of pickup was a little frustrating. I did it online as I thought it would be quick and easy but it wasnt. The website asked for two contact people in case there was a problem with the return. It didnt say that theyd be called at the time of pickup but then my primary contact was texted and called (8AM on a Saturday). I would have liked to have notified my contact person about this ahead of time but there was no mention of this prior to the pickup time. It also felt like a very long time for my reservation to be approved (online) at the time of pickup. I think it was 15 minutes. These things could and should have been done prior to the time of pickup, so that I wouldnt have had to wait in the parking lot. While I was waiting for those 15 min, the on line agent was completely silent in our chat screen. After 10 minutes, I attempted to chat with the rep and ask if he was still there but I didnt get a response. The local staff invited me inside to finish the process in the store after one of them came outside and I told her how long I had been waiting for the online approval. Just as we were starting, the online rep finally approved my reservation. The local store has been great, no problems at all. The truck was easy to find and well maintained. The local staff were pleasant to work with and offered to help take the boxes out to my vehicle. I took advantage of the free used boxes and bought some directly from the store as well and was happy to have both options. The online return process was easy fortunately.
Very easy and smooth rental experience. The cargo van was very clean for transport of the new sectional I purchased. Torrey was very knowledgeable about size and fit of furniture I was moving.

The staff were very nice and professional. Modifying the rental period was efficient, and the return after hours was also easy, but you need a cell phone to upload photos to confirm certain parts of the return process. The truck was clean upon picking it up. I would recommend this place if you need to rent a truck.
The previous renter left their dolly in the truck and I was charged for renting it even though I had no idea it was in there until I had arrived at my moving location and didn’t use it.

Outstanding service and consideration! I stopped at this location to have the U-haul trailer hitch checked out just before along trip. Ms. Laura at this location was very kind and helpful in correcting the mistakes Id made when attaching the trailer to my ball mount. She also checked the tail lights, checked the tire pressure, added air to one of the tires, and made sure everything was set for a safe trip. I was very pleased with the entire experience. We received great service and I highly recommend this U-haul location.
Very rude customer service. The lady was too pre occupied watching her toddler instead of working. I did all the work on self check out and left. Got home and there was.no appliance dolly. I called the store and the lady said she has no way of knowing what I ordered and it was my responsibility to get the dolly. I said that customer service is to make sure I have what I ordered. She grunted. I said I didnt need the dolly and I will make due, just refund my money. She said she could do it and hung up on me.
Truck not ready. 20 minutes in I asked about the on time guarantee and the woman did not know what I was talking about. She called manager and eventually @40 late gave me a truck that had been there. She refused the guarantee. I’ll be contacting customer service. Horrible and set my schedule back.

Your facility isnt large truck accessible. Although your manager did account for helping my customer with a free month of storage when they didnt have to. Thanks Uhaul. Look up my name a see how many trucks Ive rented. Ive paid at least 3 of your employees. I appreciate the good service.
Will never do business with this location. Really poor customer service. I had a few questions about renting a truck and neither employee seemed willing to answer my question. One was preparing to eat and the other was sweeping the floor. I completely understand that it was Sunday and no one typically wants to work on Sunday but at least fake it for two minutes when a customer walks in. I am not sure if this is an everyday occurrence but I am not willing to find out. This rating is strictly related to customer service and not necessarily the price since I choose to rent from a different company. I would not recommend this location at this time.
These guys were GREAT! So very helpful with our rental truck needs... Clean and nice facility with lots of supplies for any moving needs! You cant do any better for outstanding service with a smile.
Created an online reservation for fast pickup, as I had people waiting for me to help me move in. The person working the front had to check me in like normal anyway. They were new, so it is not entirely their fault, but they probably needed more training. They needed me to open a link on my phone in shop to take a picture of my drivers license for some reason? (which was really strange, as I had already entered my drivers license number in the online reservation and they could have just photo-copied it if they really needed a picture of it. This just ended up making the check-in time even longer) And then about 20 minutes into the check-in process their computer froze for about 15-20 minutes. They had to clear the form and enter all of my information manually a second time. I really dont understand why they have the online reservations if they do not utilize them. While waiting for their computer to unfreeze, they were able to help a few other people while I waited in the store for an hour in total. This was very frustrating and really made my move-in process worse than it needed to be. You guys really need to update your computer systems, and maybe try to better the situation with a discount or something like that when you have someone wait an hour past their reservation time.

Helpful staff but not nearly enough of them. We had reserved a trailer and been sent from another location here. After waiting in line over an hour, they didnt have one either. Luckily, someone got tired of waiting to return theirs and dumped it in the street...so we got that one. Bad way to do business though.

I made a reservation for a pick up truck, a 5x8 trailer and an appliance dolly at the Lake Ella Uhaul in Tallahassee Florida more than a week ago. I received a text message yesterday asking me to call and confirm a reservation I had already confirmed and even pre-checked in for.I drove over 200 miles from Jacksonville to Tallahassee, only to be told that someone else had needed an appliance dolly, so they let them have the last one. I asked what solution they had for not honoring the reservation. The woman said she could call another dealer. She called and then hung up the phone and walked away. I asked what she had found out and she said, “ Nothin’, they ain’t answering the phone.” She then stated that we could drive to another dealer and “see do they have one.” I said that an appliance dolly would not fit in my small Hyundai Elantra. She shrugged.Her rude attitude and unwillingness to do anything to help after I had driven more than 200 miles trusting in the reservation I had made and confirmed, were appalling.I asked to speak to the supervisor, and she told me she was the supervisor, and indeed, her name tag read, “Jolanda Hicks, OWNER.”I asked her if she even cared how inconvenienced a customer had been by this and she stared at me and said nothing. My wife asked her what she could do to help us out and she stood there and stared at her.We left.We found another uhaul dealer on Capital circle in Tallahassee and and told the manager, Lacretia Smith what had happened. She logged onto her computer and found a third dealer who had everything that we needed AND FOR WHICH WE HAD MADE A RESERVATION, and contacted them and asked them to hold the van, trailer and dolly for us. This is the level of customer service we have always had at Uhaul, and which we expect in order for you to win and retain our business.We arrived at that dealer on Tennessee Ave in Tallahassee, and their Manager greeted us and had the paperwork ready for us and the items we needed. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes. It was pouring rain the entire day through all of this, and a very pleasant young man hooked up the trailer for us while getting soaked himself. I have him a nice tip for excellent customer
Quality storage facilities and well maintained.
Disgusting place. Their cart hit my car I was told everything would be taken care of. That was two months ago. They literally dont care AT ALL. Now im banging my head against the wall dealing with u-hauls insurance who is doing everything they can to deny the claim. Just go somewhere else avoid U-haul not worth it at all.

Went in no one at the counter waited 15minutes still no one, called so the phone would ring and the guy answered and didnt even listen to me in the lobby and put them on hold and walked off again when I called out excuse me sir. I made a reservation for a 10’ truck on 9 Oct 21 for 9AM - 3PM. I was not able to get there by 9AM to pick up the truck. I looked up my reservation online bc I thought it was strange that I hadn’t received any communication from them. I discovered after having to search for the reservation, that my reservation was cancelled. When I called the store to ask why it was cancelled I was told that “they had other reservations” and bc I didn’t pick it up at 9AM my reservation was cancelled and the truck was given to someone else. If I’m they only had o e 10’ truck, why then did they have additional reservations?!! I was not notified and no one called to ask if I was coming to get the truck. I do t understand this business practice. If I reserve a truck from9AM - 3PM then that truck is mine and should not be given away bc I was at the store directly at 9AM. Moving is a very precarious activity. Things often do not go as planned. A reservation is a reservation, even if I do not pick up the truck until noon, then I only have the truck for theee hours, but that’s my choice. UHaul advertises “guaranteed reservations”. The person that I spoke to was rude and not in the least sorry for cancelling my reservation or for not notifying me. This is absolutely unprofessional. Now I am inconvenienced bc I cant pick up a truckFrom another Uhaul until later today. I called the corporate office and of course they were apologetic, but not in a position to rectify the situation. Beware This Uhaul location is shady and unprofessional.
