This place is great, Cory is a G and does great work! I highly recommend and not they do ladies hair. You can get a beer while you wait or when your down with your new look. Highly recommend the Prospector hair products they sell.

This shop is GREAT! Nicole G. is by far one of the most talented stylists in the industry. She gave my boyfriend the best haircut he has ever had and he loves it! I highly recommend her and this barber shop. The owner Cory, and his staff are friendly and professional. I really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and all around wonderful experience we had at Local 501.

There was a miscommunication between me and Cory on what length I wanted which resulted in me getting way too much taken off. That said, I ended up loving this style way more than I would have thought and its hands down one of the best cuts Ive ever got.

When I look in the mirror after I leave this place I realize that what happens at 501 is more than just a haircut. An old school barbershop feel, with a new, modern twist.

I needed a faded undercut with some shear work on top. I was recommended to see Kenny and i was more than pleased with the service he provided me. Highly knowledgable and really took the time to deliver my wants and expectations. The barbershop itself has a great and fun welcoming vibe. I will most certaintly be coming back and booking with Kenny again.

Located at the corner of Macomb and Carolina St, next to the Frenchtown Renaissance Center. Mainly a barbershop, however I observed one female working there. With sofas and a pool table, the place favors a younger clientele. The TV and the radio are both on, not necessarily on the same program. It also sells alcohol, mainly beer. It has never been crowded the times, I have been there. Which is good, it means I can get in and out. Cost are comparable to most shops in close proximity of a campus.

Cory is the best. Only place Id trust with my look. The shop is chill and the staff is professional. Check them out!
