I loved the vibe of this place! The people there seemed really nice as well! They make sure they have a complete run down of what you’re looking for and make sure you’re satisfied with the end result. My only issues with my first time there was the price; on their website it says a walk-in men’s haircut was $17 (before tip) but it ended up being $26 (before tip). I liked my haircut, but they need to update their pricing on the website so people aren’t taken by surprise. Also the chair I sat in was broken and I had to keep my feet on the ground so I wouldn’t fall over, and I ended up getting hair all over my shoes.

Livin in the Cut is hands down Tally’s best barber shop. Cam became my barber after an exhaustive months long search. Cam is both artistic and precise. He consistently exceeds my very high expectations. Spencer is also a talented barber and has cut my hair several times while Cam was out of town. I enjoy and honestly look forward to my weekly time with Cam, Dan, and Mel. Give any of these guys an opportunity to make you look like your best self.

Have had my hair cut by Spencer a few times and most recently by Chris. Both guys did an excellent job. Honestly, though, Id trust any of the barbers in the shop to give me a cut. I always recommend them by word-of-mouth but figured Id leave them a review because they deserve it.

Brent is an artist. 5 stars, as always. Hands-down, best guy in town, and unlike a lot of others, he really knows what hes doing when it comes to trimming and shaping a full beard. Plus, hes just a great guy to talk to, and yes, that matters when youre sitting in a chair for half an hour or more.

Spencer has been my go to since I moved into town and has always exceeded my expectations. I was so relaxed sitting in the chair the first time I got a cut from him, I was falling asleep. When I first moved to Tally, I was very hesitant to try new barbers up here. My brother spent a good amount of time looking for a new barber, until we came across Livin In the Cut. He received a haircut from Cam and has not looked back since! Very professional, very clean. The prices are very reasonable as well. Great place to go if you are looking to for a haircut.

What’s the point of working based on an appointment system if you’re still going to end up waiting 30+ minutes and then get your appointment canceled on you?? Cam J is a really good barber but you gotta learn to respect people’s time!

Ive been going to Livin in the Cut for the 3 years in Tallahassee and theres a few things I must say. 1) Ive had my haircut by most of the barbers there throughout my visits and never had a bad haircut. 2) Spencer and Brett are the two best faders Ive ever came across.

Brent has been my barber for a few years now and is my favorite barber in the greater Tallahassee area. Have had the best haircuts I’ve had in... well, forever! The shop itself is always clean and has the best barbers and environment. Everyone is always welcoming and willing to have a conversation. You can clearly tell that all the barbers are great and can have a laugh together all the time! The only complaint I see is waiting. Just book 1-2 days ahead and you’re all good... they don’t fill all their daily spots because they suck... quite the opposite. It’s worth calling ahead or booking online. LITC is the best!

The barbers will have appointments set up all day and still tell you to walk in, waste your whole day sitting in a barber shop lobby, there is only two good barbers the others barbers are below average.

Spencer is one of the best barbers in town. He takes his time and really knows what he’s doing. You can always trust that you’ll come out of the chair with the best fade. The barbershop is always clean and everyone is chill

My boys are very picky and when we moved here, it took a while to find the right barber shop. This is definitely the best one in town and worth the 30 minute drive from our house. Cam and Miguel are terrific and Mel is amazing. Nice atmosphere and they usually run on time.

Some barbers there are better than others, but I never walked out of there with a bad cut. The atmosphere is amazing. If I could make a recommendation to a new customer, just spend the extra few dollars every time to make an appointment. I always did walk ins, and sometimes I would get seated right away, other times Id be waiting like an hour an a half. Greg should be pretty proud of the establishment hes built. In the 5 years I lived in Tally before I moved, the service and appearance of the place has only improved.

This is the best shop in the the big bend area by far! Staff is friendly and make you feel at home. The shop is one of the cleanest I have been in as well. I have been driving over and hour the last few months to come get my haircut here. Spence is truly a master of his craft!

Went here for the first time as a new Tallahassee resident and I definitely got a good cut. I got a trim by Jovan and it was exactly what I wanted. Took less than 30 minutes and was pretty cheap. Even started early since I got there a few minutes ahead of my appointment. Did a really good job on it, I will definitely be coming back here.

Mel has been cutting my hair for about 4 years now. Everytime I get a cut somebody ask who cut it. The shop is clean, and chill. No other shops can even come close to LITC.

Did not get what I asked for – I got something much better! These guys definitely know their stuff. Its my first time getting my haircut since Ive moved up here and its safe to say that I found my new go-to barbershop.

Great experience. I have gone to a few different barbers there and have not had a bad cut. I recommend downloading their app so you can make an appointment. When you do that, it is the smoothest haircut experience you can have.

Hands down the best shop in Tallahassee. The barbers are all amazing, the shop is clean, they take walk-ins and also have a slick app to book appointments. This place is what a barber shop should be.

The interior of this place is awesome. They have a ton of TVs with something entertaining of all of them, and the layout overall is great. However, the quality of the haircuts and the staff is mediocre. There are one or two employees that give consistently good haircuts. I went here for about a year or two and it was a coin flip whether or not Id get a good cut when I used the first available barber. It seems like theyd rather focus on hiring cool employees to keep an image rather than hire quality barbers. I found a new place, and the service is 10x better. If youre going to take a chance with this place go with Brent. Hes a cool guy and gives a quality cut.

I could give you the list of things that support my rating, but instead Ill just tell you not to waste your time at this establishment. Been here twice, been very disappointed twice. Better off going anywhere else in my opinion. Unless you enjoy waiting 2 hours for a poor haircut.

If I could give no stars I would. I arrived 15 minutes after the shop opened. I was told there would be a long wait and I was prepared for that. It was Saturday and the shop was busy. The problem is that there was no effort to extend me quality customer service. The barbers were not accommodating to walk-ins and did not explain that to me. I dont mind waiting a few hours, but tell me how your shop operates so I can make an educated decision. If I would have waited two or three more hours, no one still would have communicated that to me. I also had my son with me and the barbers and customers were cursing. This is not a family friendly establishment. I then went to Clippers down the street and received excellent customer service. They actually appreciated my business.

Scheduled an appointment through the barbershops app. Scheduling was a breeze and when I arrived, I was able to get seated immediately. My haircut is sharp and I got great service.

Upscale barbershop with skilled barbers. They take their time and make sure you are satisfied with your cut, unlike some other places that rush through to get to the next client. They take appointments, which is great for those of us who dont have time to wait. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend!
