I just went today for the first time ever and had Jacob cut my hair. To say the least, Jacob was absolutely incredible! This is by far the best haircut I’ve ever had in my life and that’s the honest truth. Jacob did an amazing job cutting my hair, all while being personable and kind. I didn’t realize how much a haircut could boost my mood and confidence, all while Jacob made me feel like I was catching up with an old friend the entire time. I will be coming back for as long as I live in Tallahassee.

I’ve been going to burn the breeze since early 2019 and every time I go I’m always amazed how amazing wonderful the staff is. No matter who I go to for a haircut whether it be April, Jacob or Dallas they always bless me with the best haircut I could possibly receive. I will always recommend my coworkers or friends to come here if they want the best haircut in North Florida.

Having moved to the “area” the beginning of summer ‘21 I knew I would eventually need to find a new Barber. I started my research and wanted to find a place as similar to what I was used to in Philly. If I’m going to be willing to drive 20+mi for a haircut, it’s gotta be worth it… My first haircut with Dallas was exactly what I asked for and you can really sense the talent here.

I had a great experience there, great haircut by the gentleman name pinky nice guy and good conversation. He definitely cut my hair with great quality and consistency.

I told April I wanted shoulder length heir and I walked out with a pixie bob type hair cut. She said she went ahead and did me the favor of cutting it shorter so it wouldnt flip out on the ends........ Ive literally been hysterically crying all day..... I leave town in the morning and I look like a boy. I specifically 2anted 8t to touch my shoulders & that was basically all I asked for. Its so short I cant even pull it back.... the more I look at myself the more upset I get!!!! :( I cant walk past a window without crying. I look nothing like myself. Will never be coming back. Bf suggested I get wigs....

The best shop in town. Only place I go for a good hair cut. I hope more young people in Tallahassee take the initiative to open great businesses like this in our town. Here’s a pic of my before and after.

I have been seeing April for several years, and I always leave her chair feeling super happy and confident. She is kind and easy to talk to, and I feel like she really listens to what I want to get out of the appointment. From baby bangs, to maintaining length pre-wedding, to going from a natural brunette to a platinum blonde, I 100% trusted April to help me get the style I wanted. I am moving out of state soon, and that is the ONLY reason I am not booking with April anymore. Burn the Breeze is the #1 business I will miss when I leave Tallahassee!

Kelsey is such an incredible colorist. Her creations are like art, each individual color curated to what will look best on you. Every single experience I’ve had with Kelsey has been amazing. The shop is clean with a very laid back feel. Pre-COVID, they had beverages available, and truly nothing may be better than getting your hair done with a cold beer in your hand. Ive been going here for awhile, and Jacob has always been the barber Ive seen. He gives good haircuts. And hes a good listener to me complaining about when times get rough, which I tend to do to pass time, yknow. One day, while he I was getting a routine fade, he leaned down and whispered in my ear Youre a loyal customer.. I know life can be too much sometimes. So if you ever need me to Sweeney Todd you, just let me know. And that was it. He finished up my cut and I paid up.10/10 customer service, will never see another barber

The best barbershop in Tallahassee, hands down! They are all masters of their craft. Kelsey and April are some of the best colorists in the industry. But don’t be mistaken, they can also give you one of the cleanest bald fades of your life! Louis is like a young Picasso with the clippers and trimmers, his designs are out of another Universe! Dallas has superior attention to detail, and it shows with each and every cut. Jacob is the man, his Instagram is @easygoingbarber and ain’t that the truth! He’s so cool, calm, and collected, and after 30-45 minutes in his chair you’ll feel like a brand new person. The quality of service is unbeatable, there isn’t a bad chair in the house, and you’ll feel welcome and at home as soon as you walk in the door. Just be sure to book your appointment in advance, because these dudes stay booked, and rightfully so!

Dallas is hands down that barber in Tallahassee.The whole staff is great and each stylist is a professional who takes the time to do the job right. This shop is a great addition to the hair and fashion culture of Tallahassee. The staff provide amazing services paired with a pleasurable experiences in a welcoming, comfortable, open space shop. Dallas does phenomenal work on short hair. 10 out of 10 on a skin fade, which is no easy feat especially on my spouses thick, course hair.

Ive been getting cut by Dallas for the at least 3 years, and his new shop is a perfect reflection of himself: Artistic, chill, edgy, open, familiar, and loud with passion. Definitely recommend supporting and checking him and his staff out for an awesome haircut.
