Last Friday my vehicle was towed from my friends apartment complex. I had money in my middle console and it magically disappeared when my car was towed, I was told the man that towed my vehicle was Larry by the dispatcher Matt. Matt supposedly sent Larry a text addressing this issue and gave Larry my contact information. I have not heard from Larry or anyone from American Eagle Towing and Recovery. My car also seems to have suffered some damage during that tow. We were also told that they always have problems with Larry, well why does Larry still have a job? I dont understand how someone could allow things such as this to happen within their company, the fact that your tow truck driver went through my belongings in my vehicle to begin with makes no sense at all. He had one job! My middle console was not open, my car door was not unlocked, and I know exactly how much money was in my middle console due to the fact that the money was supposed to be used for a specific purpose. Whoever at that company took my money out of my vehicle needs to give me my money back and I feel as if I should be refunded my $105 that I had to pay to get my car back. This company is extremely unprofessional and the have thrives as employees! I have already filed a report with the Leon County Sheriffs Department and I do not care what I have to go through to get my money returned to me but you just dont steal out of a persons car as a tow truck driver. American Eagle was in possession of my vehicle when my money went missing so the company as a whole should be at fault! Dont waste your time dealing with this company, if they were really concerned about the reputation of the company I would be compensated and Larry would be without a job!

I was recently in a wreck and called American Eagle to come tow the vehicle. They were there in the time frame specified and the staff was very friendly. The whole process was hassle free on my end and I couldnt have been happier. Great people... would highly recommend.

I have an issue with the customer service and advertisement of American Eagle Towing.I came to American Eagle Towing office to pay for my towed vehicle. I am not disputing the fact that towed my vehicle. I believe that they were legally correct.As I was paying for this service, I noticed large writing on the receipt stating We Support Our Troops. I explained I am a military service member that missed my appointment in Veteran Affairs hospital earlier this morning. I kindly asked if there is a way of getting any kind of discount for military. The gentleman(possible named John) who was serving me, was pretty short with me, saying that there are no discounts for military. When I asked him in what way they support military. He said that I will have to call the owner about the purpose of this writing on the receipt. I asked him to provide me with a owners phone number. He said that the owner wouldnt like that. When I asked him to call the owner himself on the speaker phone, the gentleman told me that he doesnt have time to deal with this and his breakfast is getting cold.Guys like myself were eating a cold package meal(MRE) in face of constant danger in Iraq and Afghanistan. I never refused to do my job over there because my breakfast was getting cold. The whole incident wouldnt be a big deal if this business wouldnt claim that they support our troops. Its not about me getting break. Frankly, I dont care about 10% - 20% that most businesses give to military and veterans. I was simply disappointed about pay up or get out philosophy of this shop. It would have been enough for me to hear that they sending care packages overseas or flying American flag or helping some homeless veteran. Instead they ignored me and insulted me by avoiding responsibility for their advertisement. Let the God be their judge.The only pro of this towing office was the fact that they were quick to process my payment and get me out of there. But I think it has something to do with the fact that they felt uncomfortable about their inability to answer my questions.

I have never personally used this company and neither has anyone I know, but it seems like they do not have very high expectations and standards for their employees because my cousins car was towed by someone who worked for this company and it was done as a supposed favor and it was done illegally because neither had the proper paperwork. Would not consider this a professional company.

Cons and crooks. Towed my legally parked car, waited for 45 mins for the towing man to show up. The man was rude didn’t even acknowledge us upon arrival he opened the door without telling us and sat at the computer saying nothing. My car’s emergency brake was also on before towing and upon entering the car it was magically let down assuming the man entered my car with skid marks to prove at my residence. Called the police because the man wanted me to pay for my legallly parked car after we began to go back and forth and he started yelling in my face to get out. The sheriff arrived and I was finally able to get at least one of the cars of the two that was towed. They have no respect for people and their property let alone his 2 year old daughter was there as he blew smoke in her face, poor soul. If I could give this place a negative rating I would. My next step is to contact the property manger and my dads lawyer regarding this civil matter. Asked to speak to a manager and he refused as well.

Worst tow company I have ever encountered. My neighbor is new to the neighborhood and never received a parking decal for her car. They towed her car which is their job but when she called up there some man answered the phone and was extremely rude and disrespectful. He said, I dont give a damn because in 7 days Im going to own your car! After saying that he hung up in her face. All she wanted to know was what proper channels she needed to go through to get her car back and get a sticker. This happened today 09/26/2017 At 8:45 AM. If I could give it no stars I would the sad part about this is that its not the first time they have done this and acted this way towards someone I know. The mans name is Matt.

Great service ...excellant staff took very good care of my vehicle.

I called this guy because I was broken down on the side of the road. He said he was on his way. He called me back and said he was going to be late. Never showed up, never picked up the phone again, and he almost had me prepay for the tow because he said thats the only way he could process my card. Im glad I didnt get to the point before he blew me off. I really didnt appreciate how much of a time waste this was.

Theyve towed me from my own apartment twice now.... Im sorry but I have much better things to do with my time and money

These guys are heaven sent! Very forgiving and very understanding given the right circumstance (depending on your situation, go in there with the right attitude and no chip on your shoulder) I can never thank them enough for their help and kindness during an unfortunate situation!

My Dad use to detail cars for them

These people stole things out of my car when it got towed. I had to file a police report and consult with an attorney and they still havent given me my items back! My items were worth at least $2000. Little did they know, I am currently the property manager at an apartment complex that they tow from here in Tallahassee and I fired them as soon as I got to work. I will be suing for my stolen items and the damages done to my vehicle.

First day I move into my new apartment complex they tow me, ok my bad. A month later the tow my car THAT HAD A DECAL for no reason whatsoever. Bunch of crooks this kind of business should be illegal. Run by a bunch of hillbilly morons who prey on college kids. Absolutely disgusting.

Just wanted to add another bad review to this scam company. Had my car towed because I drank to much to drive the other night. When I picked it up I spoke with the owner and he didnt have any direct answers for me about their towing company or times they tow. If a college kid whos dad happens to be a lawyer, Put Them Out Of Business.

Towed me from where I stayed for 8 years and stole 160 dollars out my center console. Worst tow company ever unprofessional needs to be shut down.

This company towed my friends truck from a business that we were given permission to park at. Then when he returned the vehicle he had the nerve to tell us what we needed to do and question us. This company is terrible and I hope it goes out of business.
