This was the only AC company who could send technicians to repair my AC on the same day. It was crazy hot and my AC stopped working completely, so I was happy to get absolutely anyone out to help. Coopers turned out to be very good. Technicians were on time, friendly, competent, and efficient. They did the repair in no time at all and I had a cool house right away. I feel the price was maybe a tiny bit high.....but I was so happy to have cool air, it wasnt an issue to complain about at the time. I will use them again!
Was not happy with the service whatsoever. First my problem was misdiagnosed. I was told I needed a new compressor that would cost me upward of $2,000. To come back later and say that it was actually just the capacitor. He blamed his Misdiagnosis on faulty equipment. It seems like he was just trying to milk me for as much as he could and that he wasnt very knowledgeable about his job. I wouldnt recommend
Great experience overall. Quick address by Coopers, tech showed up on time, and while it took a bit to diagnose, they did identify the problem. A fix was presented and installed, since then the unit has performed extremely well. Tech himself was great and professional, handled my dog wonderfully.

Joshua was the lead Tech on my air duct cleaning. He sanitized my coil and ran a long whip throughout my vents. He then installed an air purifier. He was very respectful and by cleaning my AC I breathe much better. I noticed the difference.

The techs that came out re-wired the condenser wrong causing low freon readings and freezing the coil. Then a 3rd tech recommended we replace all of our duct work. We were without AC for 3 days! After 2 other companies reviewed our unit and got it working they both said we dont need to replace the duct work. Finally, we asked Coopers for a refund of our cleaning and maintenance fee. Not only were we not granted a refund or any kind of compensation, we were accused of trying to blackmail Coopers! We never accused the techs of anything malicious, but they broke our unit and refused to fix the mistake. We will be writing bad reviews and reporting the issue to the BBB.

My mother-in-law is 88 years old and resides in Bainbridge. She had an emergency situation today where the water line from the outside meter to her home severed. The city turned off her water. She called Coopers and they were incredibly responsive. A very friendly and experienced technician immediately came to the home, quickly located the outside leak, and did a same day repair. The cost was more than reasonable. This is the kind of service we all dream about. Thanks Coopers for saving the day.

Mr. Nathan Beacham was very courteous and professional. He explained what was needed to get my AC up and running properly and options to choose what I could afford at this time. He allowed me to keep the old parts that were replaced, although repairs were costly, l appreciated his honesty. It has been several months since repair and unit is running better than it has in the four years since I moved here.The unit no longer continuously runs, the heat/ AC is even across zones in my home and I have noticed a significant decrease in my utility bill for the past two months since service. We have been using Coopers to maintain our AC unit for the past 5 years. This year we had Brett come in a perform a through check of out system. He was very courteous, prompt, and cleaned up after the inspections. He suggested ways in which we could save on our electric bill and suggested an energy audit (for free!). He even replaced the filter that I provided.Great service! Coopers, keep it up.
The company advertises after hour and weekend service. I called twice on a Sunday and the answering service guaranteed I would be called back. It is now Monday after 12 noon and still no call. I at least expected a call back, even if it was to say they could not help me.
If they return your calls then you might actually get somewhere with these cats. Ive spent 3 weeks and called over 7 times with no call back from them. Sadly I have to keep at them since I have a warranty thru Coopers.
Our AC issues started at midnight and Nathan came out first thing in the morning and had it resolved within 15 minutes. Y’all are great!!

My AC went out last night, so Chris with Cooper’s came out early this afternoon and quickly had me back up and running! The repair was so quick and easy to diagnose and resolve that Chris even had time to perform the semi-annual inspection and preventive maintenance that was due on my HVAC system. Chris was super nice and knowledgeable, and he answered all my questions. I have always been happy with the service I’ve received from Cooper’s!

We had a technician come out on a Saturday and he stayed all day just to make sure we did not have to be without air that night. He called on Monday to make sure it was still working. Every person Ive talked to there has been so helpful and understanding. (I dont do well without air conditioning and can be a might snarky.) This time my unit restarted and seems to be working, but rather than cancel and have to worry about not being able to be seen for a few days if it fails again, the nice lady moved my appointment 24 hours. If its working, wonderful, if not, theyll have someone out. Such nice people who really are worried about their customers. Im very happy with all my interactions with them.

This summer we called them to order the service plan for our air conditioner. Mind you there was never anything wrong with our air and it was working just fine. They came out and took pictures in the attic and said we had a leak and we need a bigger system in the attic. It cost almost 4000 dollars, so we believed them and paid. A week later my air starting blowing hot air and so another tech came out and said that the other tech did not hook something up right and claimed he fixed it. Stated I was not going to be charged for coming out, which I should be because it was there fault. This past couple of weeks they came out because it was time for a check on our service plan and then claimed we had another problem and it would be 1200 dollars. My husband made them leave the house because every since they came and changed out something want more money. We decided to call Keith Lawson and they came out fixed the 1200 dollar problem for 119.00 and stated they( Coopers Air) had rigged up our air and when summer hit it would be messed up again. They fixed the messed up work from this company who cheated us out of almost 4500 dollars because Keith Lawson said the part they charged is 3400 for was under 2000. DO NOT GET ANY WORK FORM THEM...THEY CHEAT YOU BECAUSE THEY ARE OVERPRICED AND THEY DO NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED AND UPSET THAT I WAS CHEATED OUT OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY.

This company is deceptive, dishonest, and engages in decitful business practices. Absolutely not worth doing business with.I ran into two problems with Coopers. One very minor, which Coopers handled just fine. The second problem was not handled well at all.First problem: I called Monday morning to schedule a service call to figure out why my AC was not blowing cold air. We agreed and scheduled and appointment for Wednesday morning. I took time off and set my schedule around the expected service visit. I called Wednesday morning to confirm what time my tech is supposed to arrive. To my surprise the office mentions that somehow I am no longer on the schedule... After some discussion, fortunately, Coopers was able to still show up later in the afternoon. Although slightly disappointed, I was very appreciative they were still able to make it. Scheduling errors happen, I completely understand.Second problem: What I dont understand and am extremely upset about is what happened next. The service tech stopped by and took a look at the unit. After inspection the tech specifically stated that the entire system had to be REWIRED. In his words he stated the units wires are melted. The quote was for $714, to rewire the whole system. I was not provided a copy of the quote at the time but was told to sign the iPad. After which the tech began work. To my surprise the tech did NOT REWIRE the entire system... The tech changed a broken capacitor. The tech also moved one wire from the thermostat from one slot to another. No new wires were ran for the thermostat. One was mistakenly placed in a slot in place of the other. The quotes breakdown was $257 for the capacitor replacement. $358 for REWIRING and $99 for the service call. THE TECH DID NOT REWIRE A SINGLE THING aside from installing a new capacitor and plugging in a thermostat wire. I asked about where all the wires were that the tech had rewired. He mentioned they were in his vehicle and repeatedly refused to show me the wires he supposedly changed or where the rewiring occured. He only pointed to the unit and said, I rewired it in there. But the tech was happy to show me the capacitor he changed which he left on the floor and also left the thermostat still hanging out of the wall... I get it, he was in a hurry to leave... but really? Not professional at all.I am perfectly fine with paying for the service for the capacitor replacement but I am extremely upset at being lied to in regards to the rewiring of the entire system I pressed the tech for an invoice and unfortunatly the one I received was a different one than provided earlier! The invoice I received did not even mention a price breakdown. Just a total of $714. The tech was scrambling to come up with a new justification for the prices when asked about the service he completed. The last thing he mentioned was to take it up with the office.When I called back to the office to discuss the issue and I was told is that the $358 is the price for the wires and there is nothing they can do. ...Are these wires made of pure gold!? Did he lay down 50 yards of wire!? No!!Long story short, THERE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A $358 ADDITIONAL REWIRING CHARGE TO CHANGE OUT A CAPACITOR. That price should already be included in changing the capacitor. Coopers was deceptive and dishonest in quoting me for a service. And I am extremely frustrated that no one was willing to do much aside from offer me a $50 discount....

Had to call 11:30 at night when our A/C went out. They were here the next morning, these guys are just awesome! They do excellent work and the Techs are always very friendly and answer all your questions without hesitation, which to me means they know exactly what they are doing. The tech had our air going within 15 minutes. We have used Coopers for the last 3 years and they have always done a great job with Maintenance, being on time, and they send you reminders of service calls when its time. This is the best A/C company we have found
It was very hot in the beginning of October and my air conditioner went out. Repair person came out and determined a part needed to be ordered and installed. Well, he was going to be in training so it wasn’t going to be fixed until the following week. YES, they want the same tech that comes out to inspect, to complete service. I was not okay with this and it took 3 days for management to return my call. FINALLY, the 5th day of no air, they sent a tech to fix the AC which took 45 min to fix and cost me over $1000 for a ‘fan blower’. The part had been delivered for 2 days, but I was not a priority. Also, they charge $79 for dispatch. THEN, when you agree to hire them, they charge another $79 to return! Never have I heard of THIS!!! If you want them to change your filter, call them. If you need serious work done, call another company.

Needed immediate service since the AC went out during the heat. Cooper’s was able to come out within 24 hours. The tech, Joseph, inspected the problem and was able to explain to me the issues with the unit and how to stop the same issues from happening. In 4 years of calling companies out, Joseph is the only person to diagnose the main issue and offer a solution. I definitely recommend this company and especially Joseph. Coopers is my third attempt at finding a quality service provider, having had contracts previously with two other major firms in Tallahassee. It was a delight when the Coopers technician made the first visit - knowledgeable, equipped, detailed service, and terrific communications. And no heavy handed sells pitch for other services, like I experienced with previous agencies. Since then, Ive had multiple appointments with Coopers and every time Ive felt 100% satisfied. The office staff/scheduling staff are just as good as the technicians. Im renewing my service contract with them and plan to be a customer for years to come.

Joseph came out to perform my $39 system check I got at the Tallahassee Home and Garden Show. He was courteous and willing to explain things as he went along. Upon checking my system he found I had some issues that while not stopping my system from functioning, were going to cause me problems in the future. He also gave me several options on how to take care of those problems in the best way possible. I learned so much about my system and how HVAC works and signed up for the monthly payment for future seasonal maintenance. I highly recommend Coopers for their service and willingness to work with the customer for the best solution.

The initial service was thorough and quickly detected problems with my older unit. Coopers was able to schedule my installation in a timely manner and complete it despite the hurricane! The came in on Friday, installed the handler, and heat pump unit outside as well as blown in insulation, cleaned my duct work and vents and installed an Induct Air Purifier. They left my home completely clean inside and out. More importantly, took time to explain the system completely and answer any questions even on a late Friday afternoon! Follow up has been fantastic as well. I know the people who have serviced and installed my unit by name as well as McKenzie who works in the office scheduling. Everyone has been friendly, professional, prompt and eager to earn my business. I highly recommend them!

We recently moved to Tallahassee and needed service on our ac systems(dual). We contacted Cooper’s air based on the reviews that they had. We also contacted 2 other companies but decided on Cooper’s. We are happy we did. From the dispatch to the service technician that came out, everyone was pleasant and professional. The technician was very thorough and explained everything. We had and older system and I asked the pros and cons of repair versus replacement. I chose to replace both units. That is when my experience became even more pleasant. Chad Johnson was my sales representative. Incredibly professional, pleasant, thorough and knowledgeable. Always available (and I mean always) to answer my questions and provide guidance, even after the sale. While there were a couple of hiccups with the installation process, Cooper’s air kept their promise of immediate satisfaction. In fact, they have thus far kept all of their promises. A few days ago we had Cooper Heating and Air come out and do a service check and replace the filters. The Service Person was Shane Boone. He was not only knowledgeable but also very personable. Shane did not mind me hovering and asking questions. Shane was also observant that we remove our shoes when we enter the house and he put on some shoe covers when he went to the thermostat. We already had a filter and when he went up into the attic area he changed the filter up there for us. All voltages were checked along with the coolant. This was well worth the price.This was the second time we used Cooper and the first time was also great so we called the second time. I feel we were swindled $500+ from Coopers Heating & Air. Our air went out and we called them. They were prompt about coming out the next day and they stated that there was a slow leak and that they could refill refrigerant/coolant or whatever it was to get us by until we would get a new system installed with them. Well not even 48 hours later and $500+ spent, the air is pushing out hot again.I called several other companies after them to see if they could help and they all agreed instantly that they have all had to go behind Cooper Heating & Air to fix the initial issue. AND ALL of them fix it for a much lower cost for the same product.Please do yourself a favor and call someone else.
I had routine maintenance performed on my AC unit by Coopers. The technician arrived at the promised time for the appointment and took measures to cover his shoes and keep my carpet clean. He not only performed the required maintenance, he took the time to explain what he was doing and explain things that could be done to heat and cool our home more efficiently. Upon completion, he offered suggestions on items that could be purchased to possibly extend the life of our AC unit but did not try and pressure me into buying something. I purchased my AC unit in 2012 from Coopers and have been extremely satisfied with the service received and the operation of the unit. I highly recommend this company for installation and maintenance of AC equipment.

Last night my AC went out! We called Coopers and when I arrived home from work they were there! Joseph Worley, our service technician was very professional and a pleasure to work with! He was very diligent with the diagnostic of our system, and his recommendations! I highly recommend Coopers, and we will be returning customers!

Hurricane Michael took out my 11 year old Goodman unit. I had not had any real issues with the unit since I purchased the home in 2012 but I knew it would probably need to be replaced soon. The jury is still out on the York brand since Ive only had it one day but I am simply reviewing the installer(s) and salesman. Chad, Daniel and Mike all made me feel comfortable, they were professional, quiet, and efficient. I hope adjusting to the new unit is as smooth a transition as it was working with these guys!

I have two systems in my home that are aging, and not very gracefully. I have used Coopers to put in some new duct work, enlarge return vents, and several time for working on bits of my systems. From Peyton, the estimator, through the guys cutting holes in the walls, to the phone agents and to Joseph, who seems to be my personal repairman now, I have found the whole crew to be timely, honest about cost up front, and courteous. They even wear shoe protectors in the house. I have always been pleased with their service.

Coopers has helped our family through the heat of last Summer when we were gimping along with an insurance company that wouldnt replace our unit. They have been awesome at following up with our new unit, and each time they visit they take great care to be respectful of your home and time. (I love that they put on little shoe coverings!).
I called Coopers around 10am yesterday and the person who answered the phone was friendly and helpful. She put me on the schedule for the same day and later that afternoon called to assure me that the technicians were on the way. When Nathan and the other tech arrived ( did not catch his name ) they immediately took care of my issue and did so in a friendly professional manner ! Two thumbs up start to finish.
They can not be trusted, ordering the service plan from Coopers was the worst decision Ive made in a long time. Absolute liars and thieves, never will this company ever be allowed in my home again. Theyll find a 3k 2k problem when they arrive and Im Ric Flair yeah right
Thank you for prompt and professional service. Being new to the area, I took a chance by contacting air conditioning services through a google map search. Coopers Heating & Air provided wonderful service. I was able to schedule a service for the next day. Ashley at the office made scheduling and billing a breeze and Jason the service technician was knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing. I decided to start a service agreement with the company. I highly recommend their services.

My AC stopped working in the evening- I called them at 8pm and my AC was working great by 9:15pm. Nathan was wonderful! He was very kind and respectful of my home. And Nathan was also super cool about my sleepy, grumpy 1.5 year old repeatedly telling him bye bye while he was trying to work :) Im very grateful that I didnt have to try to put my son to sleep with it being 84 degrees inside!
