The driver was the best with his services. He went above and beyond his main duties to help assist past just assigned haul. He was very professional, very honest, upfront, great customer service all around.

Despite waiting for an extended period of time for my tow truck to arrive(which due to unforseen circumstances took nearly 4 hours), I found my experience with the company to actually be fairly pleasant. The operator I spoke with on the phone was extremely helpful and communicative( I believe her name was Ashley, thank you ashley). The tow driver allowed me to ride with him to my destination despite me not originally expecting to have to, and he was extremely friendly all around, which helped ease the stress of having to spend nearly the entire part of the early afternoon stuck on the side of the road. Extremely professional company that didnt leave my pockets empty when I was in need, absolutely recommended👍

The lady who took my call and the truck driver who towed my car were very professional and friendly.As it was a non-emergency towing, I was able to shop around and get quotes from various companies. Out of the other 7 companies, the lowest quote I got was $129 plus tax. With Gene’s, I paid $71 plus tax.The truck driver was very quick in not only getting to the pick up location but also with hooking up my car and delivering it to the drop off.

Puyallup location,Im not sure exactly who, the tow driver, the owner, or the desk clerk but one or all of them stole very expensive stuff out of my vehicle because they thought I wasnt going to claim it, I originally was supposed to pick it up on a Tuesday and when I didnt show or call they assumed I couldnt pay, when I showed up a few days later with the cash they were completely surprised, I seen the look on their face and also my vehicle was completely and purposely hidden and buried behind a bunch of burned vehicles, it took a while to figure out what happened but to many things didnt add up, its clear what they did and they know they can get away with it, right when you walk in youll see a poster of them stating they cant be sued or anything if stuff is missing, Ive been to allot of your places and usually they leave your things in the v vehicle and wont go through it, but clearly thats not the case here, if it was the tow driver and not the company they should still be responsible and at least, AT LEAST INVESTIGATE IT, and know whos working for them, Im not the type of person to make false claims, I just hope I can save someone else the headache and loss of their valuables, also the service was terrible, they wouldnt let me near my vehicle even after paying them tons of 💰, also my battery was dead and they wouldnt even give me a jump, I even went back a second time for some dumb reason and they wouldnt help me, they actually said I need to go out side and try to call the tow truck driver myself, very rude, horrible worst customer service Ive ever experienced, all they want is to take your car and valuables, keep it as long as they can until you cant pay for it so they can auction it off and scam you, stay away!!

I would have given them six stars if they could have drop it off by helicopter LOL. They beat the competition by shovel towing companies by at least 60 plus dollars. We got into an accident last night. The other driver does not have insurance. The police called Gene’s Towing. The man said publicly at the accident site it’s $180 per hour. Our house is just only 10 minutes away from the accident site. When he towed our car to our house, the man demanded we pay him $378. We told him he stated $180 per hour and he is taking advantage of our situation to fill his pocket up. We didn’t agree to pay him $378. The man from Gene’s Towing said he will bring the car to their property if we don’t pay him. My brother was standing near the towing truck’s door and tried to stop him. He could have run my brother over. Eventually, we have to pay him over $350 because we know it will cost us more if they bring the car back to there property.DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. Very unprofessional, deceiving and will take advantage of you.

Im coming from Olympia to view some apartments in Tacoma; however, as I was about to leave after viewing an apartment, my car wouldnt start. To make it short, called all the towing places near the area that had high google reviews first; however, some couldnt provide the towing service, some went directly to voicemail etc.. So, I called Genes towing after a referral from another towing service. I had Genes towing on my list to call; however, due to low google reviews, I was hesitant. However, I called them after a referral from another towing service. I called, Kim(dispatcher), she was good and helpful overall. Towing came about an hour later--seems like 60 minutes is about the standard time. Towing person Ron, I told him the car wont start, looks to be a starter problem.. he didnt hesitate and wanted to take a look. I already had a portable jumpstarter and he tapped the starter few times with a wrench, and viola!, the car started. There was no charge; however, I couldnt let Ron walkaway like that, so I had to offer to buy lunch. Turned out better than I had expected.

I read the reviews. Most of the bad ones seem to have come from dispatch complaints. While we did have to wait an hour (this is a normal wait time), the driver called us to tell us he was on his way & would be there in 20 mins, and he was. He wouldnt let me direct traffic because I didnt have neon safety equipment on. That was thoughtful. Once the truck was hooked up, he got our truck to the destination in no time, plus he parked it in a tight space like a champ. Price was quite reasonable. We are happy.

If I could give this place no stars, I would. Had my daughter call them for a tow. She had never been broken down before and was very shaken. The call taker at Genes was EXTREMELY RUDE to her getting her information. Kept insisting that the place she was at did not exist. Finally was able to get a truck assigned and then I showed up to wait with my daughter by the vehicle. No clear ETA was given to my daughter so I placed a quick call back to Genes to check the ETA and was told in a very disrespectful tone that my daughter was provided that info already. I asked them to cancel the truck and I would take my business elsewhere and requested to speak with a supervisor. I was then transferred to someones voicemail and that person has yet to call me back a day later. DO NOT call these people for a tow. They clearly have no empathy for those who are in distress at the call center and Id hate to meet the tow truck drivers who probably share the same attitude. Whats more is that management CLEARLY doesnt care that their employees are being disrespectful as nobody has called me to make amends or apologize. Take your business to Bills Towing where you will be treated with dignity and kindness.

The lady was very rude and not only that the tow guy was able to get into the car that was unlocked and there business REFUSED to give me a letter stating the car was unlocked when they got it, my purpose of needing that was because the tpd would not take a stolen report said the vehicle was locked and alarm was set when we was in Vegas IT WAS STOLEN AND WRECKED! And most phone calls the front lady answered she was rude to ppl, nope well now why would I Kno that Im not listening to anything that doesnt apply to my job title bad customer service overall and telling me to leave once I asked for a better of any kind saying they was able to put my car in neutral even that would say the doors was unlocked but NOPE!!

Not only was the service bad, but the representative at the front desk was using curse words in front of my 4 year old, and I had to remove him from the shop because she refused to do as I asked and grow a real vocabulary. I’ve made sure our insurance company knows to not send any vehicles to this company after an accident. This place sucks. You need to get a grip on your company.

Genes Towing was a little behind schedule (10 min) because of complications at a previous call, but they more than made up for it with friendly service and a fair rate. The Tow truck operator and dispatch office were both very accommodating and made sure that I was taken care of, to include driving me to my destination before taking my car across town to drop it at the auto body shop. I will definitely call Genes again if I need a tow. Thanks!

Locked my keys in a uhaul rental and triple A doesnt come out if you are in a commercial vehicle. Saw a sign at the gas station I was stuck at for Genes so called. They made it earlier than the time they gave me and the operator/tow driver took about 3 minutes to get me in my vehicle and was very professional and friendly.

Im being forced to pay a ridiculous amount of money to tow my damaged vehicle home and they think its acceptable to not even show up on time when they chose that particular time and to talk to customers with such attitude. I understand they get a lot of negative people they have to deal with but she was rude from the very beginning to someone who was being nice and cooperative.

Seriously, these guys suck. I could spend all day on the internet trying to ruin their business by writing as many bad reviews as possible. I dont mean to be a jerk, and Im not a troll, but Ive had to deal with them twice and they were horrible.I work at a hotel, so dealing with mean or rude customers is not at all uncommon for me. In fact generally, aside from check in or check out, the only time a guest wants to talk to me is when they are angry about something, but I keep my happy face on and try to provide good service regardless... because its my job. But I guess to be a tow truck driver or a secretary at a tow business you have to be either rude, snotty, dirty, smelly or inconsiderate to get a job at this place. These guys are straight political crooks.my truck broke down in front of a fruit stand. 3 or 4 blocks away a burglary on what. honestly couldnt tell you what because i was at my truck with my buddy trying to get it goin to head home. When all of a sudden puyallup cops with a dog in back of car with pc sheriffs and cops ready to kill with guns aimed at us approached us like we did something. To make along story short they impounded my truck on saturday then come monday release me for a multitude of problems with case no probable cause to arrest. No evidence . O ya and the video that was live feed the cops watched. N clearly saw it wasnt my friend and i but from monday till thursday that week i call nope no truck here. For 4 days tbey lie and say they dont have it till i come and look inside.the fence and see it and when i asked about it they didnt know so I start to ask how much you would be to retrieve my vehicle and they tell me four hundred and something dollars no problem I go to pay it they tell me about this initiative or something where if I was wrongfully arrested I could appeal to get my money back for the vehicle but I have to pay $80 to set up this hearing and then when I get there the judge decides to give the money back or not well I figured them arresting me for abs charge that they wouldnt give me back the $400 note thank you for the jeans I didnt have any chance of Hope there while they all had a nice attorneys and I thought it was just going to be you no matter where I was honestly you know they were in the wrong and I was honestly doing right but no I lost $400 plus $80 for setting up the hearing so when they feed you the ball about you can possibly get your money back its just money for their pockets this place is straight through they take peoples homes especially with the economy the way it is people live in their vehicles and they take them away and sell them to the highest bidder so they can get more money off of that

Our SUV completely died one afternoon on the corner of C street and South Tacoma Way. They were the first tow company we tried, and imediately I get this annoyed woman on the line who fits Bill Engvalls heres your sign perfectly. I explained to this woman what was happening to the vehicle, doors jammed, windows locked, and the engine wont turn over. It was literally living up to its name, Found On Road Dead. Her response, What you want me to do? Oh, I dont know, youre a tow truck company right, maybe I want you to send a tow truck or something to pick up my dead vehicle from off the side of the road. She then proceeds to ask me where Im at. I tell her, Im on the corner of C street and South Tacoma Way. That place doesnt exist, sir. Well then I dont know what to tell you, but the street signs Im looking at clearly read C street, and the other clrealy reads, South Tacoma Way. Well I cant help you. I know you cant sweety, I need someone with an IQ and the ability to use gps.
