Went in with an idea for my nails and they just immediately assumed I wanted the same thing as last time so they filled my nails in with blue then tried to paint over it when I said I didn’t want the same color as last time and the blue showed through too much so I had to get all my nails the same color and I had to go home and shape them myself because they were all round and thick and now the day after spending money getting my nails done they’re already chipping and coming off.Update: I got my nails fixed at T-Spa and they shaped them perfectly and fixed all my nails that were coming up and even did the design I wanted even over the blue sparkles Tip top filled my nails with and I’m in love! I moved from Texas to Seattle last year in December, since then I have been getting my nails done at so many places, no 1 impressed me or did an amazing job with my nails, I have heard about TIP TOP NAILS from so many of my clients and thought of visiting them and I did and got my nails done. She did an amazing job! I loved my nails, they are so friendly, I like the atmosphere!!! In love with there service❤️❤️ i recommend them..Thank you 😊

Very disappointed! I referred a family member and she was treated very badly. Her gel nails chipped after the first day. I called Miss Kim two days later she said she would fix when we came back not once but twice she said she was busy and short staffed then my cousins nails fell off called Miss Kim she refused to fix and wanted charge half price. Im DONE!!

I just moved to the area and needed a new nail salon, so I decided to try this place based on the ratings! I have to say I dont regret it one bit!!! My nails were professionally done as well as my pedicure! They not only do a great job but they are fast! I would definitely recommend to anyone!!!🥰🥰🥰

I’ve been going to this nail salon for about 5 years now! The staff is very friendly and Kim does amazing work! A very warm atmosphere and the new shop looks wonderful! Tony is amazing also but I must admit I miss Jennifer she was the bomb.com when it came to the nail game.. Overall I will continue to recommend this shop to all my friends and family ☺️😊

I have been going to Tip Top Nails since the late 90s. Kim and Tony have always taken care of me. I love the styles,colors,and services that they provide. My favorite nail paint is the mood changing colors ! There is a wide variety of colors and styles. Ive seen people come in with pictures and they have techs that can give you that look!!!The new location is comfortable and has plenty of space. There is ample parking.There are 6 or 7 pedicure chairs so you can call and make an appointment for you and your friends or do a walk in appointment. There are gift certificates too...wink..wink...I have seen a lot of men come in for pedicures and manicures over the years as well. The environment is open for everyone to be comfortable and relax!I love the paraffin dips and hot stones that come in one of the pedicure packages 🥰 my favorite part.I had Kim mircoblade my eye brows and they look amazing! I am so happy I did it 3 years ago! I recommend everyone to Tip Top when they ask me about my nails, eyebrows, or toes👍🏾I RECOMMEND you call first to see if there is a wait if you are going to bring more then 3 people at one time. For the most part the shop is busy but there are slow days and times and the plus side is the last appointment taken on the weekday is 7pm and they are open till 5pm on Sundays!

Very pricey compared to other places I’ve been, a few days later and the base of my mail is already lifting and catching my hair. The ombré looks pretty nice, but other than that not too great an experience. There were only2 other customers in the shop and my nail tech still seemed to be in a rush.

Very pricey compared to what they used to be. My wife has been going there 7 years. They did a full set of gel nails and toes and came off in a week.... when she brought it up they said it was her fault and she would have to pay full price for a new set. Never going here again

Absolutely loved this shop! I have been to many and none and have treated me as nice as I was treated here. Gave me beautiful nails with a design for a very reasonable price. 10/10 will come here again

The only nail place I go to! I love the arora and the environment. Ms. Kim does exceptional on my hands and Tony always have my feet looking heels ready. Comfortable for the whole family my son gets his feet done occasionally. Reasonably priced and the wait is usually under 30 minutes if there is one.

I cant say enough positive things about this place. I rarely do reviews but I love this place. Making appointments are so easy, its extremely clean and aesthetically pretty to look at. Always greeted with a smile and the service is consistently excellent!! My manicurist is the one who almost always does my nails and she is the GREATEST!

Tried this new place out and I absolutely loved the service and the attention. I got dipping powder and a regular pedi. The detail that was given to me was exceptional, I am not good with names but all the workers there were very attentive. The atmosphere there is very relaxing and just great overall. Definitely going to continue to come back here!

I dont think Ive ever felt so taken care of during a pedicure experience. My manicurist was super friendly!! I found this place on Google and holy shoot its worth it. Ive decided this is my nail place. Its such a luxury. Come here. You wont regret it.

This place has never disappointed me. I have always been able to get in within 3 days. They even fit me in to get a shellac manicure last minute and the girl who did my nails stayed after closing to finish and let me tell you, she did such a great job. Wish I caught her name :(. Anyways, I love this nail salon.

This was my first time coming and I will never go back ! Not one nail is filled straight. I have nail polish and acrylic stuff still on my fingers. The guy who shaped my nails made my thumbs way smaller than the rest of my fingers and they didn’t even paint all my nail so it looked like I’ve had them on for a few days when I got them done yesterday. Then they wanted to tell me they couldn’t finish my design that I PAYED for after I called them on the phone before I came in asking if they still had time to do my nails. None of my toes are straight either. I DO NOT recommend this place.

Miss Kim and her hubby..Tony have taken the ugliest hands (mine)and made them beautiful. I feel like family when Im getting my nails done. I finally found the only place I will get my nails done .

This was my first visit to this nail salon, I did not catch the ladys name who did my nails and eyebrows, but she was fabulous and I will continue to go back with her as the tech. She was very knowledgeable and understood what I needed, the first time.

They cannot polish good at all for pedicure and do not take anything off as of percentage because of the quality. Don’t waste your time there’s better places in WA as far as pedicure goes . Sat there extremely long time with two ladies just looking at my nails repainting instead of using another bottle or fresh paint

I started coming to this shop almost 27 years ago. Kim and Tony are such delightful spirits, The nails techs are friendly as well bringing a nice atmosphere about the shop, your treated with respect and once you get to know them your treated as family. They really pour out of their hearts to make sure everyone is treated and seen on a timely manner thanks Tony & Kim keep doing the fantastic job yall do!!!

Best nail shop in tacoma!!!

First time going there was amazing. Tony had done my nails and someone who replaced kim (while she was on leave) did my eyebrows. Second time a little weird... got my nails done by the famous kim... during the time she asked if I was paying card or cash two times and told me half way through doing my nails that I needed to pay before hand since it was cash. I wound up going in for eyebrows and a nail fill. It was supposed to come to a total of 70$... but I handed her 80$.. expecting change and she sold me the rest was her tip.I thought it was disrespectful to say the least. Especially since she did not even complete services. I have been in there once after to get a nil fixed that broke off. Now I have 2 nails that have broken off in less than a weeks tim . I am extremely upset. I will NEVER go here again. Before I had heard so many wonderful things from my roomates and now all 3 of us do not go to get our nails done or any other services due to the lack of her work ethic. My roomates have been going to her for year .

My daughter and I have been going to this place since I can remember and they treat us like family she has watched my youngest daughter grow up there is no other place I would go to. we love you miss Kim love Susan & Kelsey

GARBAGE. lied about prices. ignored us for a good hour. started my sisters nails then walked away to do someone elses. i asked to have my cuticles straightened they did not do it even though they said they would and then blamed me for the second grade paint job they did. not worth almost 200 dollars

Friendly staff however they tend to push other services on you, for example, pedicure, wax, eyebrow, etc. I do like the diversity of nail designs and styles they provide because other nail shops I’ve been to don’t do some of the styles they do like ombre style, matte, rhinestones, etc.

This salon completely ruined my nails! I went in for a fill on acrylics and they cut into my actual nail and severely damaged my nails. I mentioned that it was hurting when they were shaving down the old acrylic but they didn’t care, said it was normal. I was new to fake nails so I trusted them. When I left with crescent moon shaped marks under the acrylic I knew something was wrong. After I had the fakes removed I had to grow out my nails for more than 6 months to get the dents they created out. Worst experience ever.

Amazing service..they have matching shelliac polish and regular polish for tjose that love to match nails abs toes. The sitting area is better than a coffee shop

I absolutely love going here. It is the only place I go to ( I once went to another place closer by and they were unbelievingly rude!) My nails always come out beautiful no matter what I request. They are professional and friendly plus affordable. I brought my friend in for a pedicure and he loved it so much he suggested his mom to come on down ( all the way from Everret )to get her beauty needs met ( and she is seriously thinking about going in).

Went there and Loved Ms. Kims work. I have long stiletto nails and she breezed through my nails! I was in and out. No waiting forever. She did a great job for a great price. She really knows about nails.

I respect that the owner has been doing nails for 35 years and her shops been her for 20+ but ouch literally hurt me to get my nails done!!! She just filed my skin to death and she didnt do the touch-up regular nails places do...super old school lol

I dont plan to go return back to that salon, honestly I could of done my nails myself and it would have looked better, it wasnt a very clean job but the guy was kind until I didnt tip and he got mad and there was a lady who did my sisters nails and she was very mean and litterally hit her with the file because my sister was trying to help her with her crooked finger and I think only two of the ladies knew what they were doing. I wouldnt recommend this place.

Mrs. Kim, her husband and daughter Jennifer are the best... they do nails (all kid kinds ie gel,acrylic,white tip, ect ect), pedi,mani, eye brows, eye lashes, piercings, tattoo make up... the are just the best and designs are hand done and awesome... open 7 days a week and unti 730 on weekdays and Saturday..
