Best experience I’ve ever had with a shop that actually cares about the quality of their work, had the exhaust done on my 18 Ram and Carl who was the technician that did the work on my truck was awesome with how precise his pipe bends were and making sure that the final look was to my liking. Definitely recommend this shop

I called on a Saturday. They were busy, I spoke to Chris. He told me come on down we’re gonna squeeze you in I showed up 5 minutes later my truck was up in the air and they were fast at work making it happen. I will definitely come back to Buckys. Those guys are great and they’re fast.

A 5 day delay, put faulty oil gasket in, had to redo it, denied price quote, charged more at pick up even over the higher quote, left a greasy burning-smell mess underneath (no new clean oil pan I could see), did nothing about driving whine I asked them to check which only started after they worked on the van but Chris manager said at pick up that if anything else is a problem now its not them (to cover themselves), Chris rude on phone but over-sweet at pick up to cover their shoddy work, and my mounted spare tire on outside back door was gone when i picked her up. Chris tried to make out I had never had one on it, and had parked my van in a neighboring lot because they had a crammed premises now (with a man down, he said), not like when I brought van in, as Chris instructed, last Monday with an empty lot and me first one there that morning. A day Chris didnt show up, nor the other guy down that week. If youre nice, and a woman, Chris takes advantage, does sloppy work, delays, and prices get extended.

The guys at Buckys are awesome very professional and friendly. I went in to get my coolant system flushed, tires rotated, and an oil change. I will continue to do work with the guys at Buckys!

Except for the grease on the inside of my car door, they did a good job! Got my oil changed, my tires rotated, and my AC inspected all in a little over an hour. The price was Very reasonable, as I was quoted $15 more from a different Buckys for the tire rotation, so that was a nice surprise. I will be going there again when needed.

I just had my 2nd visit to a Buckys this year, the first to 48th & Pacific. They were extremely busy, but managed to get my car turned around in a very satisfactory time. Chris, the manager, and Carl were very helpful and I never felt they lost me in their busyness. Im pleased and leaving this good review.

I love this Buckys. Theyve always given fast and honest service. I recently had both catalytic converters replaced on my SUV as well as exhaust installed on my vehicle. They close at 4pm on Saturday. But they stayed hours late to complete my vehicle. Im very thankful to them. And they will be the only one I have work on my SUV.

A great place for affordable auto repair. Best to drop off your car over night for oil changes but the price cant be beat. Ive been going here a few times for our cars.

Was told on the phone that they can get a stuck o2 sensor off by any means, but when we brought the car up there we left with the same o2 sensor in the car took ten min to say they can’t get it off. Not only that I kept telling them there was 2 o2 sensors and they kept insisting us to buy two more so we did to find out I was right it only had 2 o2 sensors, this buckeys team did not help me with my problem, in fact my problem got worst because I didn’t know where else to go but I found a lil body shop paid a man $30 and he got it out in less then ten min. Just shows customer service is not a priority no more

There were a lot of miscommunication with the staff, with only walk-ins or appt only. Anyways, I called on the weekend, first come first serve. So I came on a weekday, then I was told I need an appt. Ok I set it up the next day, come in and another person said We dont do appts... So I knew my truck had issues. I got it back for him to say it just needed to be topped off.. Umm I bought a complete auto care where they are supposed to check everything AND change the oil. The next day, NEXT DAY!!!! My engine light comes on. Chris SR. was not fulfilling his job with THEIR groupon they set up. If i wanted an oil change, I would have just gone to Jiffy Lube. I wanted a COMPLETE CHECK (hence the Groupon) as to why I bought it.

THE EXPERIENCE THAT I EXPERIENCED HERE IS AMAZING!!! CHRIS SR. WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL. WENT TO ANOTHER SHOP THEY QUOTED ME A FEW THINGS TO REPLACE AND CHRIS WAS HONEST WITH ME AND TOLD ME THE THINGS THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED NOW AND I COULD REPLACE THE OTHER STUFF WHEN I COULD. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

This place takes on more than they can handle. I brought my car in 15 BEFORE they opened for an oil change. After waiting 20 min the guy said there were 3 ahead of me. He told me to leave it and hell have it done in a few hours. I just think its very rude and unprofessional. He could of told us that when he seen us standing there 20 minutes. Jus sayin

I had my truck fixed at this Buckys and was extremely satisfied with their service. I was having trouble coming up with the entire amount that was quoted for the repairs and they actually worked with me and let me pay the amount that I had scraped together, which was so nice of them to do and really saved me as I work paycheck to paycheck as it is. I worked with Chris and Steve and wont go anywhere else for my vehicle repairs again. They were quick and thorough as well. Thanks guys!

My experience was pretty darn good. Chris was the front desk gentleman that I had spoken to on the phone prior to heading in and he was also the gentleman that greeted me.He was nice and honest, genuinely seemed like he wanted to help me. Answered all my questions and gave me something to think about when it came to the repair of my old beater.Needless to say my old trusty didnt make it but none the less the service I received here was great.

Dont know the gentlemans name that helped me but he was very nice! My hood decided not to latch for me so I took my car there! He fixed the problem in less than 2 minutes! Ill definitely be back if needed! :)

I allotted half a day to get my brake lights fixed. They did it in 45 minutes, without an appointment and for way less than I expected. I appreciate that. Staff was pleasant too. Good service all around. Thanks!

Prompt. Honest. Friendly. I had roughly a three hour window between sales appointments, which is typical of my work schedule. Chris and staff miraculously diagnosed, quoted, and completed the job within that time frame and I was able to get where I needed to be. This has happened twice now.

THEY SUCK.. THEY LIE.. THEY HAVE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE hung up the phone cause THEY are liars!! Took car for service told them my issues they didnt look obviously cause the next day same problem.. NOW its oh you need this you need that.. we need more money to fix it.. BUT when I originally dropped car off the inspection obviously wasnt done.. they just want money.. dont do good work at all I took 3 vehicles there.. had to take back 2 of the 3 all within the last month an a half .. spent more than enough money with them to STILL have the same issues.. many years ago I didnt have a problem but now new employees and new management.. they are terrible NEVER will go there again.. if I could take time I would stand outside in the parking lot an tell customers to go somewhere else dont waste your time or money here..

Ive have been and still am a mechanic/ welder fabricator for over 35 years with that said I was being lazy and took my wifes car in to have some custom mufflers installed. I must say the guy did a fantastic job. At an affordable price. I highly recommend and will be using there services agian.( when Im to lazy to do it myself.

They charged me for something I didnt need as I later found out and it was about double if not more than a local shop. They also seem to be the most unprofessional and discurteist people I have ever dealt with. I almost got sucked into a heated debate about why their part failed as they insisted it was not defective. I feel lucky to have escaped with my life. I will never return even though the part was warrantied. It just is not worth the upset.

They lied about the work they did and charged me for more parts and labor. I took it to the dealership and they said both my break pads and roter were bad, especially the ones with burns on the pad and roter. I had to get both of them redone. Heres my story: I went in tget my brakes done. they told me i had to so both front and back, front costing about $300 and back $400. At this time i could only afford the front and its what was making noise. So i left it and got a call several hours later telling me its done. i drive home but something didnt feel right and smelled but i though it was bc it was new brakes. I drove it to a couple of places that day and then on Sat, the next day, after driving to 3 places within 10 miles of my house and to each other, it smells really really bad. When we got out of the car the front right passenger side had lots of smoke coming from it. It was too late to call Buckys and since Sunday they were closed we were not able to talk to then until Monday morning. I called and the guy said the smoke and smell is normal but told me to bring in my car so they can check-dismissive but at least he told me to come in. I go and they take my car for a 10min drive but I didnt know so I asked and he said annoyingly for a test drive. Then the guy comes back and you can tell something is wrong. The manager and the mechanic talk and 10 mins later the manager tells me the calipers need to be replaced. $600. I ask for a few minutes bc i wasnt expecting this. I talk to my husband who said in the receipt that they did caliper service. it should be covered and i shouldnt have to pay. The manager then gets upset and annoyed and proceeds to say all they did was take it off and put it back on that theres nothing they could have done to cause it. (by the way my car is 2015 forester that i bought in 2016). And that they did have troubles putting it back on but it was able to be out on so it was fine. So then I told him why he didnt say anything then and then let me drive off their lot with a car that wasnt working properly and could have caused a fire. He said theres no way ot could have caused a fire. My husband came down and talked to the manager and the next thing I know he denies us of any service and said i had been giving him attitude all day and he has it all on camera. I told him good bc itll show you the truth. we had to wait for the tire to be put on and the mechanic who originally worked on it was trying to tell me what happened and the manager told him to stop.I took my car to the dealership and found out that both front pads were bad! one had burns om the brake pad and rotor and the other side was warn. THEY DIDNT EVEN GIVE ME.NEW BREAK PADS OR RO4TERS! They manager NEVER even mentioned that the brake pad and roters had burns on them and are no good. SCAM ARTISTS! I felt.like it had to do with the fact that I was a female and they were trying to take advantage of me. I complained from Better Business Bureau and called the corporate office who I havent heard from yet. BBB didnt help much as of yet. BAD AND SHADY BUSINESS. AVOID!!!!

These guys over charge and also caused problems to my ride during my last tune up. I told them they created the problem but they wouldnt fix it unless I paid them hundreds more! These guys are ripp off artist, been here two times and both times they tried to grossly over charge me so I give them -5 for a score!

Seriously disappointed. Used to bring all my rigs here.Old explorer was always good for a new front end every 18 months or so. Took my ranger in for emissions work and this place tried to handle me. $90 for the diagnostic. Ok, I can give you that. $200+ for a mass air flow sensor? Really? They start at $80 at auto zone. If I really wanna be cheap I can get them all day long online for 50ish. No thanks, on the mark up guys. I understand being in business, but price gouging. No.

They did an oil change for me with my AmsOil filters I provided. They do have a disclaimer that says they will not warranty customer provided parts.

Incompetent management, poor work and bad customer service. They do fake diagnosis test and just tell you whatever instead of doing the actual work. Their corporate office is just as incompetent and they support the bad treatment of customers. They charge you an arm and leg for minor things. I dont recommend anyone to use any service at this Buckys on 48th and pacific.

Well wanted to get an oil change. Tried last weekend and they said of we dont have any more appointments for the day. Called today to see if i can get a damn oil change and they say no its first come first serve based. When i said thats not what i was told last week. Dude litterally said whatever. And hung up. Customer service is so bad i dont trust them to touch my car.

These guys quoted me over $500 to replace my worn muffler(flowmaster)..they had their expert crawl under my truck to inspect the exhaust system and he said my tail pipes were shot also and the wouldnt replace the muffler unless i did the tailpipes too.. I took it Carrilos on Mckinley ave and they replaced the muffler for $150!! They said my tail pipes were fine and didnt need replacing at all!.. Stay away from all Austins businesses!!(promax) overpriced ripoffs!!

Ive taken all my cars here for years w no complaints. untill now, i brought in my car for brakes and some exhaust work. had a bad oil leak and they said its was an easy fix that they woukd fix it for nothin if i got the rest of tbe work done. deal. go pick up the car everything was fine....until i realized tbey did nothin to fix oil leak and horrible job on exhaust. they have all new employees and wouldnt trust them to work on my sons big wheel. pro max is my new car care center as they do great work great cust service.

Getting an oil change here is like catching a unicorn. Can show up an hour after they open and they will tell you to come back the next day or keep your car all day then call in the afternoon to day they couldnt get to it when its to late to take it anywhere else.
