I have hired many contractors this summer, only to be disappointed in workmanship, not showing up or not completing job. My dryer was not(and still is not) drying. I called Terrys appliance. The repair man came for 10 minutes and said the dryer was working fine and there was nothing he could do. Giving 2 stars because he didnt charge me the service fee.

Fridge was leaking from clogged line in freezer. Terry patiently took everything apart, found and fixed the problem in a relatively short time. Hes professional, knowledgeable and explains what hes doing. It was fun. I highly recommend him.

I gave this business 2 stars for the convenience of setting up an appointment. I had an appointment for today at 11:30… 9/8. No show no call so I called. The gentleman who answered said he did not have me down or yes I have you but GE repairman has to come out.I thought he fixed all appliances or at least came out to evaluate? I took the day off and then no show or call but told oh you need to call GE. Well I got no notification of this. I had a confirmation for today’s service call last week. I waited patiently. When I called I got a sorry, I am in Cazenovia now. Ok that is great. Can I send you, Terry, a bill for wasting my time? This is just crazy . It is very hard to find good repairman or companies to respond or to do a good job. So disheartening. I would not recommend

CAUTION!!!!!! If your concerned about being taken advantage and ripped off, DO NOT WORRY. This is about the most honest guy I ever met. His normal fee includes coming to the house to repair your appliance. He came and could not fix the item. And he did not charge us anything. Who does that.....only the best of the best. I pray that other folks see this review so that you can feel comfortable and at ease. I would highly recommend any man of character and this fella demonstrated that he has character.

The technician told us that he would be working on the job between 9 am and 12 noon. He did not show up for the work at all. We texted him and called him 3 times and did not receive any indication that he would be late or would need to reschedule. Upon booking the original service, he was at the drive through window and was more concerned about placing his order (with us on the phone) than with understanding our needs. I would strongly urge anyone considering this technician to find another provider.

I scheduled an appointment with Terrys to look at our freezer since it decided to thaw without warning, ruining a bunch of food. They called the day before the appointment to ask a number of questions about the situation - one of them being the year that the freezerwas manufactured. Seeing that it was made in 1997, he told me that it was simply too old and to replace it. He could have shown up for the appointment and told me that, after he messed around for an hour - and charged me accordingly of course. Stand up operation and my future appliance guys for sure. Honesty actually does mean something!!!! One of the good ones.

I was able to get Terry when I needed him, while other appliance repairmen said it would be a week or more. My issue was that my dishwasher seemed clogged. Terry quickly found it wasnt clogged, but rather that the drain pump was shot. He found the price of a new pump, which is quite expensive. When I told him the dishwasher was 17 years old, he recommended that it be replaced, and that I have a plumber install the new one and install a dedicated drain, rather than have it continue to be pumped through the sink by way of a jury-rigged drain line running behind a cabinet and eventually through the sink. He was very friendly and his fee was most reasonable.

I had an issue that couldn’t be corrected and was a manufacturer flaw..He came same day found the issue, contacted the manufacturer and verified there was no fix..He advised me there would be no charge ..I can’t say enough about this..Myself and anyone i know will be using him from now on..

I have a GE refrigerator with a bottom freezer and it was leaking. Terry knew exactly what was wrong with it. It had to be taken apart from the inside which I would never have figure out. He explained what was wrong and showed me a small drain within the freezer that was clogged and he fixed it. He also tightened up the drawer handle and answered my questions regarding my stove. Terry is a great great! Smart and professional. Ive already added him to my cell phone contact list for future calls.

All good with this service. Terry arrived at specified time and was very professional in his approach. Wed called him about our dryer but the problem was at the breaker -- it was only pushing out 110 instead of the 220 required. He advised us to call a licensed electrician before hed do anything b/c the same thing would happen. His service call was reasonable and he answered a lot of questions that I had. So well get the breaker (maybe burned out) replaced and then well see if the dryer works. If it doesnt Ill call Terrys Appliance Service again. What a great experience... Our freezer alarm went off last night, and the temp was rising... I had no idea who to call... I did a Google search for repairmen in my area... Terry stood out by having so many great reviews... I was pleasantly surprised that on his website, you can view his availability, and make an appointment... I made an appointment for 10 this morning... Terry showed up a few minutes early, and was done in 35 minutes... He found and replaced the broken part... We chatted for a few minutes before he left... First, the on-line scheduling option is great. Our oven died in the evening and we were able to pick a convenient appointment time that same night.Second, Terry (the owner-operator) gave a courtesy call to see if he could arrive a little *early!*Third, he identified the problem with our 11-year old oven quickly and had the part with him. (That might have just been luck, but it meant that from diagnosis to fixed took less than 30 minutes.)Well definitely call him again should we have another appliance problem!

Terry is great at his job!I called Terry for service on my refrigerator and dryer. He recommended purchasing a new refrigerator instead of replacing the circuit board on a 13 year old fridge. He suggested staying away from certain brands of refrigerators which tend to have a high failure rate.He cleaned the lint from the dryer and installed a replacement part he ordered; the service saved me a significant amount of money versus having to purchase a new dryer.I highly recommend hiring Terry. Terry correctly diagnosed the problem (broken drain pump) on my LG front-loading washing machine, ordered the new drain pump, and returned the next day to replace the broken part. My mother-in-laws washing machine died in the middle of a cycle. A friend recommended Terry and I promptly called him.
