Wonderful place to go. Snow Birds are returning, so appointment would be recommended!! Calm, pleasant atmosphere. I’ve been going there for 5 years.

I have been going here for more than 5yrs now...the faces frequently change, but the service has always been good. They make for a nice relaxing experience. I also feel their prices are very fair. I recommend making an appointment whenever possible, but they will always do their best to accommodate walk-ins. Having worked in and around their industry for a couple decades, I may not be the pickiest client they have, but I do know if there has ever been an issue, they do their best to make it right.

Tony is the Best on his Art nail work, He goes beyond the appointment to make you feel welcome and relaxed. Im a hairstylist, and he makes sure my nails are coated and sealed enough for the constant water contact not to ruin my Nails. Thank you Tony. Liz

Edit 1/2/2021: After 3 of my nails had peeled off, Tony fixed them free. Still wont be back but appreciate what he did for me. Gave an extra starWent 12/26 at 2pm out of convenience. Got a full gel set by Deb which took 2 hrs. She had to go outside 3 different times to smoke a cigarette and came back smelling like smoke which was extremely off-putting and gross. The powder was applied crooked and didnt meet the cuticle which she told me they didnt do because then it raises up or something like that so now my nails look theyve grown out and I need a fill soon. Powder on one of my thumbs is all warped and not smooth and its starting to peel up already, she noticed it but didnt so anything to make it smooth or re-do the powder. She told me shes been doing this for 30 yrs but how my nails look, I dont believe it. Definitely will not be back. For $50 I expect them to look almost flawless and they are not. I was sick of being there otherwise I would have had someone else redo them.

I almost don’t want to review them because I’m afraid everyone will find my little hidden gem!!! They always make time even for last minute appointments and I swear the service is excellent. I recently visited one of the big hotel spas and felt totally jipt cause they spoil me here and the big fancy spa was such a let down I had to run back to Estrella!!! Great ambiance, clean, excellent value, and I’ll come back again and again.

I was visiting and found this place because of the reviews and it did not disappoint. The manager did my pedicure and gave me a very natural manicure that was awesome!! She taught me lots about my nails and the products. Great salon very clean!! Thanks Estrellas !!

Just moved here from Seattle (part time) and trying to find my new nail place. My experience was just ok. Had the stone mani/pedi. Nothing exciting. Ok job. Everything seemed pretty clean until I went to the table where you put your toes and fingers under the light for quicker drying time and it was filthy. I mean, come on. We are all putting our fingers and toes on this thing during a pandemic. Sterilize it! Definitely wont be back because of it. No, I did not tell management. Its not my job. You can clearly see this is disgusting. Clean it up!

First time I attended I had a pedicure done from one of the men one of the best pedicures Ive ever had. I decided to stop by today for a dip manicure and the lady rushed did a horrible job got all the material all over my fingers and then filed it to where my fingers are raw. She filed so much I had loose skin everywhere and I asked her to please cut the cuticles and then she charged me $1. I think the material was bad and she rushed and I believe itll pull up in a day or two and when that happens Im going back for my money back cuz this is ridiculous to pay this kind of pricing and have such a horrific job done0 to do so I paid $47 for a horrific dip

I recently found into this nail salon on the route I take to work. From the moment you walk in the door there is a checkin process that supports accurate and timely service because you provide an electronic signature and list of services so you choose your service. There should be a reasonable expectation that we the customers know what services we want and if not then ask a staff member to clarify before registering. I like my technician Moka and So far the few times Ixe been there the ambience and service has been tranquil and stellar!

One of the worst polish jobs I’ve ever gotten. Half of my toe doesn’t have polish. I paid cash and didn’t receive change back without having to ask for it. Asked for water to be hotter and they put a bucket in my water to take some out. Will not return.

I decided at the last minute that I needed a pedicure and they fit me right in. Staff was friendly and helpful and the Deluxe Hot Stone Pedicure was the best pedicure I’ve ever had. Thankfully I work a few doors down so I can come back often!

Great customer service and mani/pedi. Did feel like they up charge for every little thing but not too much different in price compared to everyone else. They do not have partitions in between the pedi seats so if you are cautious of the Covid virus this might not be your place but overall very nice people and great service!

They service people who dont have masks on and then sit them beside people who do. I was there with my pregnant daughter....we had to get up and move. We will never go there again

This salon is really great. I experienced this place for the first time and they serve our customers very enthusiastically. The cute owner was very happy while I waited, they invited me to refer to the colors then the girls worked very hard. and i had a great nail. I feel like this place. and next time Ill be back.

I dont even know where to begin. I walked in to get a dip manicure. They sit me down at a table that looks like it hasnt ever been cleaned. There was a thick layer of powder on top of the table. Im guessing it was from nail product AND other peoples nails. Gross. He starts off by using a dremel to remove my nail polish, after I already told him it was regular nail polish, so I had to ask him to use nail polish remover. Not really a big deal, I just dont want too much damage done to my already thin nails. Then he uses the dremel to file the top of my nails. Not a big deal, but again damage. So I asked if he would use a hand file. Anywhere else, theyve never had a problem with me making that request. He refused. Argued with me. Tried to tell me a hand file wont get into my cuticle and will cause the dip to lift. Im calling BS, because I always have other salons use a hand file and Ive never had problems with lifting. He was just being impatient. Anyway after a little arguing I agree to let him use the dremel lightly. When he gets done dipping my nails he asks what shape I want. I said Im okay with round, unless he thinks my nails are long enough to be squared. He says yes, he can square them. Shapes them and never once asks me if I like the shape, like everywhere else does. So he is getting ready to do the next step of filing down the tops, and I decide to look at the shape. There was no shape. They all looked like big bubbles. I tell him and He pretends to not know what Im talking about. Then he files down the top and doesnt ask me if I like it or want anything fixed again, tells me to go wash my hands. So I do but notice that they all still look like big globs of product on my nails. No shape. I wash my hands and go tell him again that I dont like the shape. He again argues pretending to not see what I see. So I just let him put the top coat and I paid him... I went home and filed them all down myself to fix them and used my own top coat. The picture attached is my left thumb after I fixed it, in comparison to the right thumb before I fixed it. Terrible service and the whole place was a mess. Two fish tanks with nasty green water. No surfaces look like theyve ever been cleaned. Just gross.

I read the reviews and I have second thoughts whether or not I should get a pedi at this place but no regrets love the service.

I went here three days ago. The people were super nice, but the quality of the nails are awful. I paid for the pink and white dipping powder. I had to come in and have them fix one nail. It completely came off after 15 hours.... The acrylics are chipping on every other nail near my cuticles. I’ve never had this happen. $45 for my nails to chip and one fall off is crazy. Don’t waste your time here.

THE BEST AND MOST RELAXING SPA

I took my husband for his first pedicure at 75 years old....he loved it! We had the team of Tony and Connie and they made it fun and enjoyable. My hubby says hell be back! I recommend this as the perfect gift for your hubby who wants to do everything himself....this will be a special treat for him.

Don’t waste your time coming here! I followed my nail tech that I liked a lot to this location, and it was awful. The place is dark and gloomy and the people are very mean. I got my nails done for prom and they were crooked and didn’t look good at all. They took five minutes to do my pedicure and they didn’t even paint my entire nail for some reason. When I went to go get my nails taken off, the lady refused to do it for me and just walked away, a man (I assume ran the place) agreed to do it. He struggled to even take the nail polish off. The lady had to give a step by step for two different guys on how to remove the nails. I left with my hand covered in cuts from how many times they caught my skin with the drinmel. My nails are destroyed by what they did. The men were nice but it’s not worth it.

I had my nails done a week before my wedding. Unfortunately 3 days later they were already lifting. I went elsewhere and had them fixed. My bridesmaids said the pedicures were good and inexpensive but Id rather go somewhere I can have everything done without having to have it fixed

Great pedicure packages. Also very clean. And they did an amazing job. I was relaxed and comfortable (and Im pregnant so thats hard to achieve.) I highly recommend the deluxe pedicure. I will probably come back for their more spa like pedis!

This place is very relaxing and they have snacks! Lol got a pedicure and the guy was great but the eyebrow waxing left me with a bad impression. Maybe the lady was having a bad day? She slathered wax down to my eyelid (Im not hairy) and then handed me a mirror and said good? And withing a second she was out of the room. I wasnt happy with it but she just left the room like she didnt care anyways. Also, left wax on and around my brows. She was in a rush to get me in and out. I wont be coming back for the waxing but definitely for the nails

This is not the same people that I use to get great pedis from. I am licensed Cosmetologist for 30 years and I am pretty sure that most of the people are not licensed. The guy that started my pedicure poured the acetone on my toenails and aggressively wiped and smeared the old polish off onto my toes. SO I asked for another tech and verbally questioned if he was licensed. The next nail tech was having to mirror and ask my daughters nail tech how to do things. So I began showing her. This was my Mothers day outing with my daughter so I did not want to ruin it. BUT not only will they be getting this review they lost a client and will be receiving a complaint from the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology. SIncerely these people are putting peoples health at risk.

Service has declined. Poor management and lack of communication between technicians. I called to schedule a manicure/pedicure appointment for noon. The call taker took my name and confirmed an appointment at noon with Tony. Following my pedicure with another technician (not Tony), a party of 6 arrived. Apparently they had double booked. Sarah literally lifted the chair arm and grabbed me by the wrist and told me, come back another day. No apology for the unprofessionalism, inconvenience or ownership of their mistake. Just, bye.If you schedule an appointment here, speak directly with Tony. The rest dont know what theyre doing.

Regularly tried to be understanding but,they are always running late.Ive only lived here for 4 months and in that time two of my regular people have quit and left. Last appointment very uncomfortable, I was never called or told that my nail person had quit and left. Will not return.

They had so much attention to detail and treated me like a Queen! My new spot took a year to find a place to do my nails the way I want and treat me right....

This place is awesome. Super friendly staff and quality work. Got a French Dip and it looks fabulous. Im definitely come back.Updated - Oct. 2017:The couple that did my nails before no longer works there. I had a new person do it a couple times. Only once out of the three times she did them with any level of effort and they turned out nice. (Maybe because the manager was watching over the shoulder). The last time she rush through it and did a very sloppy job. It was very clear she did not want to be there or didnt want to do the nails. I asked for a dip removal and new set. She filed them down and slapped on more insisting wanted a fill. I didnt even know you could fill them. They where so thick and uneven. I ended up filing them down myself and made appointment with another place.Not sure why some of the nail places think its ok to treat their customers like an inconvenience. Hope their management will consider hiring some techs who actually want to work with customers and make them feel welcome.

Blanca is the best manicurist I have ever had. My natural nails are healthier and stronger because of her care. No one else touches them.

Also very clean and well organized salon. My new hairstyle is very enqueue and amazing. I highly recommend this salon to all.

I keep trying this place because it’s a convenient location, but I’ve had it with trying to explain to them what I want and nobody understands or speaks English. The one person who did has quit and gone to Scottsdale, so I will be looking for another place.

Awful.went for a fill and pedi..was there 3 hours!!! The guy that did my pedi kept on leaving me and always interupted..every color I picked they didnt have..and no gel /polish line that matched..my fill was horrible too..NEVER GOING BACK !!!

Been in there twice recently. Both times signed in, had no one acknowledge me at all, waited 20 minutes and ended up leaving. There are too many salons to get this. They had 2 people that worjed there, that walked by me....even if busy, just basic acknowledgement let me know wait time....anything!

My VIP OPI spa pedicure ! Absolutely amazing love the ladies here really made me feel comfortable. I can really see the results in my hands having such wonderful shape and design!

The salon is very clean, the atmosphere is relaxing and they do an excellent and thorough job. I usually use Christy and she is fantastic! My husband also came with me to get his feet done (after kicking and screaming, lol)--he loved it and has been in twice since! Awesome place! :)

I wont be going back. I had an upgraded pedicure and it just didnt flow. The guy didnt know that well what he was doing I dont think. I really wish i wouldnt have paid 45 dollars for that. It wasnt worth it. He didnt even put a topcoat on my polish if u can believe that!!! Not going back!!

I wont go back there again! I went with some aunts and cousins for my cousins graduation. Well, first the chair they put me in didnt work and no one seem to care or find someone that could fix it. Then after starting to paint my nails did they tell me it was an extra $3.00 because it was special. After that they accused me of not paying. The staff was rude and service there sucks. Oh and by the way the special polish they used chipped the next day.

The young man who did my pedi was great but the woman who was going to wax my eye brows was terrible! I was getting ready to have my nail color put on and shes already grabbing my purse & flip flops saying shes gonna do my eye brows!!!! :0 Then my nails werent even dried and she threw on my flip flops so I could go to the waxing room....there was no need to rush and they werent even busy! Yes, she left the wax on ( of course no gel or aloe either! ) and I couldnt wait to get home to clean it off and still had to tweez!!!! Not happy at all with the eye brow waxing and never again.

Decided to hold off on writing a review until I had visited at leat 5 times. I have had pedicures and SNS nails done. Spring does great eyebrow waxing here. My husband and son have had pedicures. We all agree this is a pleasant place, clean, friendly, and very accomodating for both young and older folks. English is well spoken here and that is a plus and comforting. Yummy snacks provided for free along with tea and water. Prices are reasonable and we have all left happy and satisfied. I have tried several nail salons in Surprise and it feels like an assembly line and very little customer service skills when greeted. Appointment times are strictly adhered to and I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Walk in times are less than a 15 minute wait and that is on a busy Saturday. I love they are open on Sundays too. Estrella Nails in Surprise is Surprisingly a business I would recommend to family and friends. I say, Try it out!. You may be pleasantly Surprised.

My 2 year old and I went in for a mommy and me mani/pedi and the results were fantastic, but the workers hardly spoke more than 10 words to us. They talked to each other the whole time, but we couldnt understand them, and I felt like they were talking about us part of the time. Its just uncomfortable.

I really liked the place it was really nice, but I didnt like the guy who did my pedicure all he did most of the time was get up and walk around he skipped a lot of steps in doing my pedicure. I would go back but not with the guy who I got.

I called ahead to make an appointment for 3 of us to have or nails done together. We arrived on time and picked our polish and were seated promptly. I thought this was a good sign...But then they they can only do two mani/pedis at a time. Ugh! So myself and one daughter are done and have to wait for them to even start on my other daughter. Also I could have painted my nails better. Bad service and shotty work. I definitely do not recommend this place.

I didnt have an appointment and they got me in right away. I had a fill done with a French gel top. They did an excellent job! Best ever!!!!

Would never go back to this place. One lady came over and started rubbing my leg while I was waiting for my nail tech. She rubbed it like she was mad. Other customers were left waiting after they had been told to come back in half an hour. Then when the pedi was done another nail tech told my gal not to message my legs as I had already had mine done. Left the salon disgusted. Will never go back.

Went to this place for the first time and the experience was absolutely wonderful! The people there are amazing and this place us so relaxing and every clean and the prices are awesome!

My daughter and I went for a mani. The salon was very clean and the workers were very friendly. We were told it was under new management. We were very happy and will go back again.

I can not believe what I just experienced at this place. First off let me start by saying I am a licensed cosmetologist IN ARIZONA. I am also a salon suite owner and have my Board of Cosmetology business license. I was not acknowledged for 20 minutes when I had an appointment at 4:30, not looked at, greeted nothing. Finally a man took me back, acted completely irritated that he had to do my fill. I told him I want my nails coffin and he started rounding them out. To top it all off, I started looking around and noticed that there are no licenses displayed anywhere!!! Your license HAS TO BE DISPLAYED at your station by law. I asked him where his license is he said hes from out of state and hasnt transferred it over. YOU CANT PRACTICE IN THIS STATE UNTIL YOUVE TRANSFERRED YOUR LICENSE PERIOD. I told him this and he got quiet and said oh its ok. Umm no its not. He asked if I was licensed and I said yes and I own a salon suite. He got quiet again. I said how long have you lived here. He said 12 YEARS!!!!!! In 12 years you cant transfer your license. Buddy I dont think you even have a license!!! I was done got up and left my money at the front and left. I will be contacting the board in the morning. I worked my butt off for my license and that man is not following any sanitation laws, chemical handling nothing!! HE KNOWS NOTHING AND HES TOUCHING OUR HANDS AND FEET WITH LORD KNOWS WHOS FUNGUS ON HIS TOOLS.

Myself and my daughter went in for nails and granddaughter to get pedicure we were told 5 mins and to pick our colors. This place was very very warm with no air circulation. I found a color after being told had to pick from certain section. The guy that runs around like a crazy person said he would find the color I picked and took me to a seat. Need to say he never found the color so I picked different color sat down again no one to help me for 10 mins meanwhile my daughter was seated and she wanted flared nails they did not have those but girl would make them for her then the girl said would take to long and would cost more. So daughter said just put regular nail tips. Finally a girl comes to help me she drilled polish off and did my fill then said need to let product dry and walked away(in all my yrs of getting nails done never had wait over 20 mins for nails to dry) now my daughter nails are on and the girl is telling her there would be a up charge for the colors she wanted so my daughter said never mind and just wanted to pay just for fullset so the girl said would charge her less but wanted cash she didnt have so they wanted her to use their ATM she said no didnt want to pay bank charge they kept pushing to use their ATM. Now I asked if the girl doing daughters nails if she would finish mine she said no and disappeared I said I need to go and needed someone to finish my nails then my nail person came back from doing a pedicure???? She finished then putting on polish it was very streaky and on some of my nails the polish separates she said it was type of polish. So my little granddaughter never got her pedicure and they had taken 3 more people for pedicures so my granddaughter said they definitely need to hire more people. I would never go back to this place or recommend to anyone!

Terrible experience!!!!!!I ask one of the guys to removed an ingrow nailThe one on the right side he made it bleed, he apply a liquid and moved on to the one on the left.On the left he wasnt as harsh and did not made it bleed.My right toe continue to hurt for a couple more days and yesterday it look red and purple so I squeeze it and puss came out.I took a picture, I went to the salon to explain what happened .No manager available I was told he would give a call the next day. Then the lady told me he was on vacation.The guy who did my feet got up from doing a manicure and started yelling at me in front of my 2 year old saying it was my fault .That I ask for the ingrow to be removed.I said I understand that, but the fact is that I now have an infection and all I wanted was the insuranse info to go to urgent care.He refused, he then started talking about me on his language with the other employesThen in English with his customer so I lost it, I try to take a picture of him to file a complain and another employee push my arm twice. Even tho I was carrying my kid.Today I called the manager. At first he seem nice and willing to help, but it turns out he gave me fake insuranse information.This is not cool, I was nice, I didnt ask for my money back Or behave rude and this is the way they treated me.

Had a dip powder manicure with Tony. He filed my side walls down so far that they bled. All of the nails are crooked and uneven and he tried to use cuticle nippers to dig out part of my nail bed when he realized how bad they were. He also charged me an extra five dollars to trim my cuticles and put lotion on my hands. There is a huge gap between the powder and my cuticle and it looks grown out. Worst manicure I have ever received

The salon was nice, showed the lady the design I wanted on my nails which didnt seem to be a problem until she was halfway done and then said she couldnt do it, this on top of her rushing to finish, producing poor quality work was beyond frustrating. Wont be going back.

Christy is my nail tech and I like her (as long as no other people come in). If people are waiting to be seen I get a rushed job. Ive only been here twice, my second visit was by appointment. My first appointment went very well, my 2nd I was rushed out so my nails suffered. Some of the SNS product hung of the side of nail bed (some nails looked like press ons). She will definitely get feedback from me at my next visit......Update: I saw Christy today and she listened to my concerns and my nails are fabulous....

I only gave it a one star cause google says I have to... I liked that when I walked in there was hardly anyone there. Hang tight tho, there is a reason for that.. I grabbed my color off the wall, looked around for pricing but nothing was on the wall. Not a big deal, I found there brochure. OPI pedicures read $29 Dumbfounded, I triple checked the brochure thinking maybe I just missed the standard pedicure section. As im looking, a woman walks out with a client towards the front where I am standing. Asks how she can help me so I ask how much for just a regular pedicure? She looked at me almost in disgust and replied We dont dont do regular anything shoves me out of her way and continues to check out her client... Im sorry, but that is NO way to treat a customer. Not to mention the over charge of $29 dollars for a pedi when Pretty nails across the street has better quality polishes that arent OLD, DRIED OUT and CRUSTY and their pricing makes wayyy more sense.. Even if they lowered their prices, I would NEVER step foot in that place AGAIN!!! 😊

While rhe staff was quite friendly, they are way over priced for what you receive in the pedicure. About a 23 dollar pedicure for 31 dollars plus tip.And not the attention to detail you would expect.
