I am so in love with this place and the people. I started going with my mom at the beginning of this year as something we could do together, and a way to cheer me up every few weeks as I was home from college. The staff are always friendly and try their best to make the customers comfortable and happy, even while it is busy. There have been many times where I’ve seen customers be short with the staff as it is busy, that is because it is one of the best salons and people want to get in! As they do take walk-ins, which people shouldn’t complain about, they sometimes do get backed up and run a few minutes behind, but have no problem rescheduling you if it is an inconvenience. Bee and Kim are so talented and sweet to my mother and I. I look forward to seeing what we can challenge them with every two weeks and they never disappoint. I am so sad to be going back to school in about a month and definitely wouldn’t have the heart to go to a salon down there. Worth the price and any wait time!

I have overlays with shellac. Went here for the first time. Tina was very rough with my fingers and two days later 7 of my nails were peeling. Edit: they did call me and asked if I would come back in and give them a chance to make things right. I did and so far so good! I appreciate them caring enough to reach out and request I give them a second shot.

Had a bridal party Book appointments a few months early for manicures and pedicures. Everyone had to do a $15 down payment at that time. On the day of 3 of the girls weren’t able to make it. The salon charges us FULL price for the 3 girls who didn’t make it. Even though they put down a deposit that should have been what they kept for missed appointments. Also they did NOT put the $15 down payment for each girl towards their service. EXTREMELY unprofessional! Do not recommend!!

Every time I get to come in for services everyone has always been gracious and professional, made me feel right at home. Katie did my nails this last time and she did an outstanding job, thanks Katie! And thanks Kim for doing some great Nail art on my daughters nails, it made her day!

I dont really know what to say besides for me it was a waste of my money. Ive gone here two times after hearing very good stuff about this place. The first and second time I got pretty difficult designs (pictures below) and I was aware of how much it was going to be to get this special nail art. The thing that disappointed me is that both times that I got my nails done the next day my nails were already chipping and for having to pay 75 dollars both times plus a tip, I would of expected the manicures to last a long time. It is always very hectic here no matter when you go and I feel like everyone is always rushing to get to the next person. I didnt really like the vibe here and I wont be returning. I didnt feel very welcomed.

Every 2 weeks i go to kim to get my nails done. i’ve gone to a lot of people but she’s my favorite when it comes to acrylic nails. she takes her time and pays attention to small details. i highly recommend to anyone who is picky and likes them perfect 💅🏼

They like to lie about your appointment time. When they overbook themselves. And make it look like you had the time wrong and so your late and then they say “you can still come, and we will try to work you in”And when u argue it they ask if you have “proof” of the appointment time. Like what? How would I have proof if I called and made the appointment like 1.5 hour in advance and THEY are the ones that told me the time?Also they respond to upset or unsatisfied customers with absolutely no professionalism at all.It’s sad, I otherwise really liked the place.

Went in to get dip nails. Showed the man what I wanted and asked if he could do it. He said yes. It was just colored tips. First he wouldnt let me choose the color I wanted and said they dont work ???. Then had to redo 2 nails. He then finished and you can see the nail extension under almost all of the nails. I was charged $65. My cuticles and all of that werent even cleaned. I had no manicure. They look terrible and are not worth the price. He was rude and rough at least 5 times. I sat there for almost an hour and a half. Was really upset with the outcome, but was already running late for work and could not stay. I called the manager the next day and she never called me back. I live 35 minutes away and I will NOT be returning. This place is a total rip off. To see pictures of the nails, my review is also on their Yelp page.

I found my new favorite nail shop, with them just being open for over a year everything is still fresh and brand new. The environment is so welcoming and cozy, and the layout is satisfying. I got a mani/pedi before my trip and it lasted the whole trip (5 days). I’m going back for a refill for sure. The staff is so friendly! Such reasonable prices for the services provided.

Ive seen different nails techs there and have not had one bad experience! Its like family when walking in there. Some even know me by my first name! Its a BEAUTIFUL set up. Ive had the pleasure with working with Bee. She has done my nails now for the last couple of times. She is the most kindest soul and so genuine. She isnt just my nail tech anymore, she is my friend! I can see when working with other clients she takes exceptional care of them! 10/10 recommend!

Went here for a pedicure with a friend. Asked for the level one service. She tried to upsell me the level two. I politely declined. I’ve never had anyone be so rough with my feet. She dug into my toes with her tools causing pain. My friend agreed to go to the level two but was charged for the level three. They request you pay cash and will refund you the $2 atm fee if you take money out. I did this. Both employees could not understand what I was asking, despite my pointing at the sign. They gave me change in large bills trying to scam a larger tip. I feel like they were exaggerating the language barrier to extort more money from us. Never going back.

This place is two months old and absolutely beautiful on the inside. Equally the technicians are very nice and respectful. I had a great conversation with Paul and he was fantastic. The service was quick and beautifully done. Lastly, I love that when you walk in you sign up on an iPad to wait. They have tons of space and guarantee that it might get harder to get in as more people find out about this place. Highly recommend!

First time I came I got a dip manicure which took over two hours! I tried to give them another shot so I made an appointment. 40 minutes later Im still sitting at the station with no one acknowledging me at all. And in that time 3 WALK INS were served before me who had an appointment. Not welcoming at all. Not a smile on anyones face not even the employees want to be there. Its a shame because its a beautiful shop. Do better

Was so disappointed with the service :( I had my nails done here a week or two ago and finally am getting to leaving this review. I had previously called and booked an appointment for a gel set for my hands, with acrylics added to 3 fingers and a pedicure with gel. I also had stickers I wanted applied and they told me I could bring them in. When I sat down, they told me they had me down for a dip and that’s it and seemed like they had no idea about anything else I asked for. The original man who sat down with me acted upset at me not wanting dip and picked up his stuff aggressively. I hate confrontation so I just said I’d really prefer gel on my hands in one color, with the added acrylics and to not worry about anything else. They sent someone else over to do my gel after I waited a good amount of time. He was so rough every step of the way. At one point, he saw a previous acrylic was loose and used another nail from his box to slide under it and rip it off..... without saying a single word to me. When he saw me jump a bit at the pain, he went “did that hurt?” And laughed and that was it. I responded “yes” and the entire rest of the time was quiet, my fingers ripped around in uncomfortable angles and just painful and awkward. I hate confrontation so I just wanted to get it over with. When he saw he was done, mind you I had multiple nails that were crooked and jagged and none were equal in length to each other or the other hand, I followed him to the counter to pay. I lifted my card to pay and he just ripped it out of my hand and held onto it while he plugged in info on the iPad. I saw my bill double and asked him why it said $120 something for gel and three acrylics when he tried putting my card in to pay. He fixed it and put my card in again, but wouldn’t let my card go. After it glitched again for him plugging stuff in wrong, he took my card out again and held it against the side of the counter with a lot of people walking in and out. After he had been holding onto my card for over a minute or two, I finally went “can I please have my card back? I know how to pay with it” he said “what?” And I said “please give me my card back. I can put it in the slot myself.” Super uncomfortable, painful, invasive and rude. Please don’t just make decisions that hurt people without even talking to them and please don’t just be grabbing peoples’ cards, without asking, when we are fully capable of putting them in a slot after you’ve tried multiple times. Still tipped $15. Definitely didn’t want to at all :(

I would avoid Jay like the plague when going here. Hes focused on other things, he is rough on your hands. He will cut you and not even notice. Nails dont get painted all the way, and are missed shaped. Jay did my nails twice both times cut me, didnt do what I asked for, was busy paying attention to a zoom call he was participating in. I had a female another time, I asked for something fairly simple she said yea I can do that then never did. The only competent person that has done my nails there was the owner, and she doesnt do nails per her statement. She only did them because they were packed and didnt have enough nail techs. 😒

This nail salon recently opened in Sun Prairie. I cannot recommend this nail salon enough! I am incredibly impressed with the atmosphere, welcoming customer service, and exceptional manicure-pedicure. I was a walk in appointment on a Friday evening. I was welcomed with a warm hello as I checked in. The menu of services is extensive--ranging from the basics that you expect from a nail salon, all the way to a premium experience. This is great for every need and budget! I tried the cell pedicure and gel manicure. With the exceptional experience, they have gained a new client.

This is the best salon in the area! The service is phenomenal and the entire team is astounding and always takes pride in their work! Bee is the best technician and I request her everytime!!! If you are going any place else try this place next guarantee you will keep coming back !

Made an appointment, arrived on time and still waited over 40 minutes to be seen. Was finally sat down and they forgot about my 7 year old daughter who just sat there waiting until I asked. Seat was broken so that was a fun 10min adventure for the lady to try and fix, but was unsuccessful. At this point patience was running thin and she seemed to move as slow as a sloth and repeated we so busy. If you are so busy and can not accommodate, dont take anymore appointments. Even had the nerve to ask if we wanted manicures. Do NOT waste your time.

Yes I am editing my review again! I had a hiccup with my previous service when I went to someone new. I was able to speak with the owner (Kim) and voice my concerns. In fact she reached out to me to figure out what happened and how she could make it right. I was very happy to feel understood and cared for. It’s clear she cares about her customers and business and wants everyone to leave satisfied. If anyone ever feels unhappy with their service, I highly recommend speaking to Kim. She wants her customers happy and excited to come back. With that being said, I came back for a pedicure this week and it was top notch. I am so glad I was able to voice my side and return for a great service!I am a repeat customer who’s had dip manicures as well as pedicures done here. I go to Kim for my manicures and she does a great job! She’s super gentle, sweet, and helpful as I’m really indecisive with what I want. I have gotten several pedicures and each time they’ve been awesome. I like that they have a list of the different pedicure options. (My BF loves coming here for pedicures. I’ve also brought my best friend and she’s a repeat customer as well!) They offer many different services and have so many colors to pick from both in dip and shellac. I feel this place is very well maintained. I definitely recommend Sun Prairie Nails and Spa! I included a picture of my most recent dip manicure by Kim. I wanted something fun and let Kim lead the way and I absolutely loved them.

I’ve gotten my nails done here a few times, and have always had a pleasant experience. All staff are friendly, professional, and talented, and it is a clean environment with necessary Covid-precautions.Today went with my mother and aunt to get a gel pedi and a dip mani, both done by Lynn, and it was my BEST and favorite nail experience ever. Lynn took her time and listened to what I wanted. She was gentle with my nails, but still gave me a relaxing massage during my pedicure. I gave her a picture for inspiration for my mani and she went ABOVE & BEYOND to exceed my expectations. She suggested additional designs and took initiative to create her own version of the picture I showed her. My nails are seriously perfect, and I am in love with how they turned out. I highly recommend this salon, and will return to see Lynn :)

This is by far my favorite nail salon I have been to in the Madison area. The nail tech’s and quality of the nails is great! I would recommend them to anyone!

My mother and I had #3 Soaking collagen spa pedicures today and they were phenomal. Our techs Jenny and Julie were very professional and really took their time to perform the service to the best of their ability. We will definitely be back soon.

I was very excited to try this place based on past reviews, but was a bit disappointed with my experience. My friend and I wanted to get a mani/pedi together, so made an appointment on a Sunday. We arrived at our appointment time and were asked to wait a bit, but waited for over half an hour before getting seated for pedicures. My pedicure started first, and was done before my friend’s even began. I still got my manicure, but she cancelled hers for the sake of time.Overall, rating 3 stars because the actual pedicure I got was great, but the mani left something to be desired for $20. And, we weren’t actually able to get the services together, which was disappointing.

My first time here- Good experience but bad end result. Place was clean, staff polite, felt safe with COVID precautions. But I got a shellac that started chipping after only 1 week. Shellac manicures always last at least 3 weeks on my nails.

Tony did a great job on my shellac pedicure. I was initially very happy with how my shellac fill turned out; however, after 3 days all of my nails are already lifting like I’ve had it done for 2-3 weeks. Very disappointed in the quality of my fill.

I have never had my nails done before. When we walked in they made it very easy to follow along and were very hospitable. They made sure that I got exactly what I asked for and were very nice about the fact that I didn’t know what I wanted. I am very satisfied with my first experience of getting my nails done and when get them done again, I will definitely come back to sum prairie nails and spa.

I wasn’t overly impressed with this place. It’s not any more aesthetically pleasing than other salons in the area. I got a full set with dipping powder and the result isn’t bad bad but nothing to rave about. I did notice they paid more attention to my cuticles than most places do. They do not use a fresh file on each customer nor did I see or believe the metal tools were sanitized. My biggest annoyance was the price listed for the service says “ and up “ I was charged ten dollars more than the service menu listed. No idea why as I didn’t get a long or unique style. I got a glitter accent nail and that’s it. I’ve never been up charged for that anywhere else. It seems that’s how they make up for the “complimentary” paraffin dip. I probably wouldn’t visit again unless I needed to get in somewhere quick. On the plus side they were adequately staffed!!

Came in yesterday with an appointment time of 6 and arrived a bit early with my 2 daughters. They had us put hand sanitizer on upon entering and took our temperature. We waited no more than 2-3 minutes to be seated.My 4 year old daughters nail polish is almost all peeled off already.. but my 7 year olds look great and they did a wonderful job with both of my daughters.The lady who did my nails was Kit and she was very friendly. I showed her a picture of what I wanted. It was more of an inspiration to me than replicating it exactly but the colors are spot on and I’m in love with the colors. My only complaint is that on both hands their is an accent nail and it had a straight line going down. Line isn’t so straight and doesn’t match on both hands. I would probably love it more without it. However, she did try very hard to get it to match and as straight as she could.The location is just gorgeous on the inside and very modern. The chairs are actually super comfortable.I loved the warm wax dip at the end as well.I already want to come back for a pedicure next!

The person who did my manicure did a really good job. The person who did my nails did not do a good job- This review is a week after I got my nails done and some of nails are already coming off.The building was nice and clean but everyone was really busy which made the experience less personably. I did not feel super welcome.

I was served by kim, I got a gel-dipped powder and she was very professional and gentle with my fingers. She listened to what I wanted and asked me how I wanted my nails and given that I was a walk in at a busy time, she was still able to take her time on my nails. I will 100% will return and be sure to book with her next time.

Kept adding money to total which was different then advertised prices and i had to correct the worker on pricing multiple times she claimed the price of basic full set with a coffin shape and a design on 2 fingers was over $80 when i know that was completely false they try to ripoff people by adding outrageous amounts to a customers total I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK

Very busy at the time we went which they were not prepared for. 15 minutes after our scheduled appt we had to ask when we would get service. Employees were not friendly or helpful.Got the dip manicure. The man had my fingers burning while he was shaping my nails, very painful. He used too much force with the grinder. I have 4 cuts on my fingers because of this.

Moved to WI and have been getting my nails done by Kim - amazing job, strong nails, super clean, great conversation! Also have had a lash lift by Bee. It’s far better than the ones I’ve had in the past and I’ve even been able to go a few days without wearing mascara because my natural lashes look so good! 🤍😊 Thank you, you all are great!! Highly recommend this salon!

Very impressed with this new salon and so happy I found it! Very beautiful new salon that is very COVID friendly- they make you sanitize and temp you as soon as you come in, they have plexiglass barriers at every station and someone cleans each station after use. The pricing and colors/packages/products are on point as well! Will never go to another salon. Thank you!!!

I almost always come here for my pedicure unless Im unable to get in for an appointment. I went yesterday for a pedicure Van did it. I could tell instantly that he was going to rush me. He asked which number pedicure I wanted I usually get #3 or #4. He instantly said number 2 in which I was like yeah lets go for it I could already tell I was going to be rushed. Upon completion and me paying it came to $74 I gave him $80 and asked for xhange for a $20 so I could also tip the wo.an who did my brows. He gave me the $6 back and said $20 for tip. Well it wouldve been nice for to give him the tip I felt he deserved. He left paint on my nail from the last pedicure I had so I can still see some pink around the nail. He didnt use the callus scrub on my feet nor did he scrape/scrub the bottom of my feet properly so feels as if I didnt even have a pedicure. I wouldve talked with owner however there was some commotion upon me leaving with a employee and owner. The last time before that I had an older lady who was causing me pain while doing my pedicure that I couldnt even enjoy it. Sad to say but yesterday will be my last time going. You cant choose who you book an appointment with online anymore. So they throw whomever they have available seems Im always getting the newbies.

A friend had recommended this place, and so I thought I would try it out. I was getting the DIP powder done. First off, he never took my old nails off, he only filed them slightly, every place I have ever gone always takes the old nails off first. With that being said that lasted about a week, and I am upset. I have never had such a poor experience before. I felt as though they were friendly, but they were lacking professional nail skills. I will not be returning.

Sub Prairie Nails & Spa is a clean, organized, very friendly establishment. Been going there since August of this year...always happy with my results!!They have nice and easy covid precautionary measures that are safe and easy to follow!

We had appts. @ 2 pm. We walked in and they put us in the corner. They did not ask if we had appts. Or even what service we wanted. After 25 minutes I went an asked what was going on. Then then rushed to g et us done. My granddaughters are leaving for Florida on Monday and the wanted something fun. My one daughter asked for a pineapple she had turquoise nails and ended up with red dots on 2 of her nails. It was awful. They take all walkins and rush people through. We had to stop at Walgreens to get polish and go home and redo them. I would not recommend this place at all.

I am so happy to have a wonderful salon so close to home. Stopped in today for a gel manicure and I am beyond impressed. The staff is very friendly and greets everyone like they are an old friend. The manicure itself was excellent! They have a great color selection and the manicure process was delightful! It ended with a paraffin dip and my hands feel amazing. I will for sure be coming back!

Me and my two daughter and I got a pedicure. It was by far the fastest pedicure I had was in and out . Pedicure was okay, the price was high for what you get. environment was clean and nice. This happens to my daughter after we got home .

Jesse was very prompt at welcoming me as soon as I walked in. The salon is beautiful, spacious, and most importantly- CLEAN! Kim did an amazing job on my nails from a picture I showed them! I really loved this place!! This time was my first ever time there. The pedicure was sooo nice! They had four different ones to choose from. I got the second level one. I also got a dip full set. The women doing them was so talented. You can check out all the super cool designs online and on their instagram! I had left and decided they were a little too long. When I came back she gladly fixed them up a bit. Will definitely come back!

I had the most wonderful nail experience at Sun Prairie Nails & Spa. The spa is beautifully decorated, clean, and welcoming. There are tons of colors to pick from and the nail technicians are willing to do specific nail art if requested. Bee did an AMAZING job, was so friendly, and I enjoyed talking to her! They also have wine and mimosas. This will definitely be my new nail spot!

I came in with high expectations based off reviews. You did not disappoint! Everyone was friendly and kind. The location was clean (as youd expect from somewhere new). Over the last few years, other nail salons in the area have lost their touch, either because they become too busy or lazy... Sun Prairie Nails is now my go to. Bee was friendly and did a great job. What an amazing place! I had the best experience today. I got a beautiful ombre dip manicure, with the most amazing pedicure Ive ever had along with a glass of champagne. This nail spa is beautifully decorated with great prices and the nicest staff. I bought a gift card for the holidays and cant wait to bring my family and friends back. Congratulations.

I was referred here because I am on vacation from Arizona. I showed the tech a pinterest image that I wanted and wow, did they deliver. A second tech helped out with picking exact color matches while my tech worked on my acrylic fill. They were clean, kind, friendly....I wish this were my nail salon in AZ!

Love coming here! Bee always takes such great care of me and makes my nails look bomb! She takes her time and you can really tell she cares for her customers. The salon is so nice and chic. Highly recommend this salon!

This was my first time at Sun Prairie Nails & Spa and I will definitely be coming back. Not only was the service excellent with amazing staff, but the place is clean & beautiful. I haven’t found a nail place that I enjoyed as much as this one!
