Gave South Street Motors a shot based on the excellent reviews and so far I am very satisfied with their honesty and the price of the repairs they conducted.I cant yet comment on the quality of workmanship as the repairs were just completed, but so far they passed all my tests with flying colors.I have a scanner and some quotes from the shop where I get my oil changed, so I came in knowing what the issues were, test procedures required and cost of the parts involved.Other shops I looked at had around a 100% or more markup on parts, but South Streets were negligible. They also discovered that work I personally believed was going to be required was not in fact. Other shops would have been tempted to run with the work and either replace the part or tell me they did. They simply reset the error codes, tested the part for viability over several days and deemed it must have been a one-time fault my personal scanner had captured.Very impressed so far.

South Street Motors was extremely accommodating for myself and my two children under 3. You can tell in a good way it is a family business, they were so understanding that I needed a way to entertain my kids and even took us home though we live outside of Sun Prairie, while our vehicle was serviced. They did an excellent job and were very fair. I felt safe and taken care of there.

I do most of my own repairs when it comes to maintenance of a vehicle. When the repair goes out of your realm of expertise and it time to call a shop. This shop will give you honest feedback about the problem and give you option to repair based on your needs. Nice to have a local shop to support.

Recently bought a new car and a different shop botched my smart start installation which caused me to break down on the freeway on my way to vacation. This was the closest smart start affiliated shop and Rob took the best care of my car. Opened up on Sunday so I could return home, fixed my car, and recommend a go tow company. Would recommend this shop to anyone!

Kudos to South Street Motors for not only their friendliness in providing a quote via phone, but also their concern and promptness then in getting my truck into the shop to repair a corroded brake line. They were transparent with their quote, which was quite reasonable, considering they ended up running an entirely new line. Despite living maybe two miles from the shop, they arranged to shuttle me home. Knowing I work 3rd shift and wouldnt be able to pick up my vehicle before the shop closed, Rob arranged to bring it to my home. That level of OUTSTANDING customer service is almost unheard of nowadays. Everyone Ive spoken to at South Street Motors has been very friendly, and has shown that they not only care about the service they provide, but also care about customer satisfaction! I had TWO vehicles disabled when I chose to have them make my repair-- theyll be working on my second one very soon!

Im a regular customer of South Street motors for several years. I have always gotten great service from routine work to specialty jobs.I trust Mark and the auto techs with my vehicle and my safety.They serviced my older Honda Accord and now my newer Honda CRV. They will even give you a ride if needed or you can wait and itll be done on time. I recommend them highly. Five stars!

I went to Smart Street Motors for the first time today and I really like how they were honest to me. I went to one of those instant oil places before and said i needed a coolant flush. Well I came over to smart street motors and they looked at my car and said my coolant is good. No Charge I recommend going to South street motors.

The owner is former military (Thank you for your service). Very kind and hardworking guy. He has become family over the years, and my son thinks highly of him as well. Ive always been given total control as to what gets repaired, or how much money I spend. Mark works around my budget, and can always get me back on the road. Ive moved about 40 miles away from the shop, but I always bring all of my family vehicles in, despite the drive. I even get vehicles towed there for repair in emergency cases. I am ALWAYS satisfied, but most importantly, I am always treated with respect.This is a local family business, and none of that pressure to repair unnecessary things bull either. Found them through Groupon; they found the problem quickly and replaced it just as quickly and for a good price, and didnt mind all my questions about the procedure and process. Informed me about all my warranty and national network service options for my Catalytic Converter replacement. Gave me a free ride to Madison for work since I was without a car, too - that was a 40-60 minute round trip for him!
