My parents used Vaskos for such a long time and trusted them (for roof repair, window installation, bathroom remodel, other small projects). We needed to get house on the market. Scott prepared an extensive list of repairs. Though I live far away, I knew I could count on Scott and his team to take care of the remodel. He was honest, candid, performed good work and trustworthy. I would highly recommend him. His team, Britney and Patty, were great too. Vaskos did an excellent job of building a small (600 sq ft) house for me. The prices was very good compared to the three other estimates I received from other builders in the Summerville area. The work was first class, could not ask for better job. His sub-contractors showed up on time, did excellent, quality work, and cleaned up when finished. Scott Vasko kept me informed of progress and brought any possible problems to my immediate attention. He answered any and all questions I had and was a pleasure to work with. I have used Vaskos for two different bathroom projects a year apart. They do excellent work with great attention to the details. They also paid extra attention to what mattered to me. Vaskos Quality Builders just finished an outdoor deck on our home in Mount Pleasant. The quality of the work far exceeded our expectations. The deck looks beautiful and there is not one detail that was not completed to the highest level of professionalism. They are punctual, courteous, knowledgeable, and the projects are closely monitored by Scott. They are doing an excellent job of accommodating our needs right now by working to make sure the disruption to my elderly, handicap father is kept to a minimum. We highly recommend them.

Mr. Vascos crew remodeled our master bathroom this past spring. Tina and Charles were punctual, professional, and very good about explaining the work and options as it progressed. The bathroom is absolutely beautiful and was finished on schedule. Would recommend highly and have, in fact, done so since.

Vaskos did an excellent job installing French doors in our house to close in a room. Their quote for the project was very competitive with the 4 other quotes we received. While there were some delays on getting the quote, the quote itself was very thorough. The communication during the planning was excellent. Once scheduled, our project was performed within schedule. The work was performed in a very clean manner and there was no disruption of the remainder of our house. The final product was better than our expectations with meticulous attention to the detail. We will definitely be looking to contact them again when we have another home renovation project.

Terrible! Had Scott Vasko install a new front door in my house. Halfway through the installation, I noticed the door was out of alignment and made my discovery known. No sweat says he and continues. Upon final installation, he was satisfied with the misalignment. I stated my discontent and he accused me of nitpicking. The door stuck out 1/2 inch past the jamb on the bottom and was even at the top. At that point the door swung easily. He attempted to fix the problem and although the door was more evenly set it the jamb, the door was binding because he moved the bottom hinge without aligning the others. It will not move freely now. He tells me nothing was wrong now. I had a rep from the door company and the lumberyard he bought it from come to my house and they agreed the movement of the hinge caused it to bend. The door company sent a new hinge to the lumberyard and they in turn sent it to him. Calls and emails have yet to be returned from Scott.If you have Scott Vasko do a job for you, be be prepared to accept his less than mediocre work or be called a nitpicker if you expect better.

Great team, professional and easy to work with

Doing Gods Will in the Workplace - yeah Right.. They were contracted by LOWEs to do a bath tub remodel. The Tile Work was substandard which could have been averted if they would have taken the time to make sure the walls were plumb and level, faulty work led to water damage to the floor below the tub, and the patchwork to the wall cut through to fix the leak looks like a child did it. I could go on and on. Scott - the owner admitted his team did a poor job on the obvious issues even stating that he would stay with the crew to fix it. During the time that he was supposedly watching the crew they placed tiles upside down making the whole thing look horrible. Never - Never - Never hire this company. I was blessed to have worked with Lowes and at least got my money back. One last word - Scott would say to me you have an eye for detail when I pointed out things that needed to be fixed. I wish he and his team would have had the same eye for detail. ---- Mr. Vasko is incorrect in his response. The Lowes representative that visited our house to check out the work agreed that the project was not being completed to industry standards. Now that the walls have been exposed again it is clear where the problem started. Just take the time to ensure that the walls are plum and level and the tile job will work itself out. We are not moving forward with another company. We look forward to the quality that one should expect when spending several thousands of dollars.

Worst company ever. Vaskos roofing put multiple holes in our porch railings by hammering roofing nails to it to hold a tarp to catch the old shingles. They never fixed it. One leak that they cannot fix after coming out multiple times caulking around a boot on our roof and the worse part is their was a major leak around our chimney that ruined a non replaceable painting which they said is not their fault and wont pay us back for it or do anything about it. Actually scott Vasco himself said that nothing is wrong with this roof. Homeowner beware your in for a scare!!!
