I came here to get a new cord for my lawn mower and I just meet the owner. I have not seen this man since I was a teenager and now we meet again. This man knows his stuff and he has a heart of gold. I have a Husqvarna self propelled lawn mower that needed to have the drive cable replaced under warrantly. I contacted three authorized service centers closer to my home and was told by all of them that they eihter only work on items they have sold or larger equipment such as riding mowers. In frustration, I called Husqvarna and they recommended Summerville Lawn Mower and Heater Repair, which was 14 miles from home. I was a little concerned by the name (lawn mower and heater repair) but when I called, Joe Price put my mind at ease. He said that it might take a few days to get the part, and when I asked if he could order it and let me know when it came in, he agreed with no hesitation. When the part arrived I received a phone call and took the mower in. I was shocked that the repair was done in one day and I was able to use the mower the very next day. I higly recommend this business if you need your Husqvarna equipment repaired. He also seemed to have a good selection of other equipment as well.

Mr. Price was one of the only providers in the Charleston area willing and able to fix a Husqvarna Automower which fried from some above average rainfall. A month after his repair, my mower is still keeping our lawn looking better than my own hair. Thanks!

Wonderful knowledge about lawnmowers here. The 2 men were very helpful repairing the used mower we bought. The replacement parts were way cheaper than I thought they were going to be. Ill go back there with any mower questions, or buying a new one.
Had my mower for 3 weeks and its still not fixed.I paid for the diagnostic tests and took it he mower because of the cost to repair it ...I can buy a new mower... my mower is only 2 years old...it was running fine then it wasnt.
Not cheap an not in any hurry. If you drop off at the end of summer an dont need it back until next spring, then they mite be good for your needs. I needed one belt replaced on my riding lawn mower. So I got them to replace all three. Two an a half months later they finally called me back. After I had called one month before. I should have watched a u tube video an did it myself an saved 300 dollars. If three belts an 2 new blades put on that I didnt ask for is cheap for you, then they mite be perfect. I will not be going back.I have smelt less cigarette smoke in a bar room than I smelt inside the shop. If thats something that mite bother you also.
Attitude, service, and professionalism are below failing, and mowers have been there for 3 weeks, dropped off on a Friday, said it would be done Monday, and still currently waiting.....
I like this guy hes good and he knows his Parts. He seems to be treating people very fairly. Im nothing negative to say about him. But if I did I would say that his parking lot is a little Dusty when its dry out
I wrote a review about how horrible Summerville lawn mower and heater repair is about a year ago. Interesting now how it has been removed. Do not take anything there. Honestly. The gentleman is rude and unprofessional. He speaks down to individuals. Quite a surprise that he even gets business. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Stay away!!!!!!!

They had my weed eater for two months. They called and said it was ready. Upon arrival I was told it now needed a part and that it would be ready in five days. Seven days later I called and was told the part did not come in but that they reversed my choke and it now runs. They did not charge me for the work done but the weed eater still does not run at all.
I bought a lawn mower and took it to him to get tuned up since it had been sitting for while and only had 4 hours on it. I wanted to get it tuned for the season and then it got stollen at the shop. He wouldn’t give me the money that I paid for it and was reluctant on talking about the issue

I took my Husqvarna weed eater there to get a coil for it and the guy immediately said I needed a new engine! I said ummm no and left. Called my lawnmower guy and he told me to just go to the auto parts store and get a plug. Worked!Will never go there again. The only reason he got 1 star is because he was open and I couldn’t give him less than 1.
It was a bright happy day until I went to this place today Took my old lawn mower to see if I could get a price to fix it. Doors were wide open the guy that was behind the counter said we closed had a short conversation He would not give me any idea on cost of repairs. I ask about a ride on mower. This guy assumed I could not pay for it idiot. says you can put money down on it but the mower stays here until payed for Really.? I was about to pull out a credit card and pay for the ride on but he lost that sale 1400 buck walked out your door today because you were so hateful and arrogant . I will never return to this place ever. Lowes gave a better deal anyway.
Went looking for a replacement carburetor, the owner had to order one, gave $20 down payment on the order for$99 part. Picked carburetor up later, paid $79 cash took it home, it didnt fit returned it. I was charged 35% restocking fee plus$10 store fee, was refunded with a $50 check.Make your own judgement !!

The guy there was as the others posted...rude and no self awareness. He has no idea what customer service is. He was complaining about how busy he was and was hesitant to help me bc he said he had too much crap in his shop already. He finally told the young man working w him to just take of it now. He then continued to lecture me on the age of my mower and not to put money into it. The boy struggled to get the blade off bc I wanted a mulching blade. After about 30 minutes, they decided I would have to keep the original blade. He said looked at it and said you already have a mulching blade. It just needs to be sharpened. He then said that would be $18.00 for all of the work that we just did. Of course, after taking it home...it didnt start. I couldnt pull the pull cord. I dont look forward to calling this guy bc I know hes not going to care. Hes less then helpful.The address is correct. It is on Boonehill. Its not the one on Dorchester and Orangeburg.
I had an issue with my push mowers pull cord not pulling. I pulled it out of the back of my SUV and he fixed it within a minute. He told me what the issue was (hydrostatic something) and looked at me like I was stupid and shouldve known that. Then said thatll be $20. Im good with paying the money but his demeanor was all wrong and he was very rude. He got the job done but needs to work on his customer service. Because of this guy, I spend hours troubleshooting issues online and have learned how to fix things myself. I wont go back. The address listed on google maps doesnt correlate with the actual address. Its located at the corner of Dorchester and Orangeburg.
Extremely rude man who was seemingly unwilling to help us...we drove up to the side of building where the lawn mowers were kept to see where we should drop off our lawn mower there or at the front for repair. The gentleman yelled asking what?? As if he wanted to know why we were at the establishment. Very unpleasant experience!!!I I would not recommend this place to anyone!
Great service! Dropped my mower off on Saturday and it was ready Monday .... Now I just need the grass to grow!
