First I had over 570 feet of 6 inch LesfFilter installed. Yes big house. We are new owners and the highest gutters had not been cleaned in years and some of the downspouts were clogged. The installers cleaned all the gutters, half inch of dirt and 2 inches of pine needles. The covers were installed as described by our sales man including replacing all hangers and ensuring proper run and drainage of the gutters. Upper downspouts were adjusted and tied into the lower gutters. No more downspouts draining across lower roofs. We have had several heavy rain storms since the LeafFilters have been installed and everything is working as advertised. I used to be able to walk around the house during heavy rain and see water sloshing out of the gutters. Now, nothing. The drone video inspection of the installation was also a nice touch. Its not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Buyer Beware! After a recent home purchase, we needed someone to patch and clean our existing gutters. We were not in the market for new ones or new guards as we had an abundance of other projects we needed to accomplish with limited funds available. I received a quote for $1988 (after his sign the contract today discount), which was to remove the existing guards, seal, clean, and put the guards back. My husband happened to get home while the crew was in the process of doing the work. The crew chief had pulled all the guards out and destroyed them so they could not be reused. I dont know whether the salesperson explained the scope of work to the crew at all as the crew chief called me before starting the job to find out what he was supposed to be doing (shouldnt the sales person have been there at the start to go over the job with them?). The crew chief spent quite a lot of time on the phone discussing this with someone at his office. I dont know what the conversations were. They told my husband they were done and said theyd clean up and be on their way.I thought maybe I would hear back from the company or the salesperson about the issues. I assumed they would be coming back since they left trash in the yard and about a 6 piece of guard hanging in a tree (photos attached). My husband attempted to call the crew chief but got no answer or callback.Things really went south when I called the salesperson the next day to discuss what could be done with the destroyed gutter guards and to ask about the trash in the yard. He said hed have to call the crew chief. He called me back a few minutes later and said my husband had screamed at the crew and kicked them off the job. I know this is not true as it is not in his character to behave in this way. Plus, I came home during all this and there was no yelling on the part of my husband or the crew. The salesperson said he wanted to make it right by offering me their gutter guards for around $4000! This of course, made me feel like I was being bamboozled and I pointed this out to the salesperson. To this, he replied if you cant see that Im trying to do you a favor by offering you this, I dont want to do business with you and promptly hung up on me. Unbelievable lack of professionalism! I dont know why he thought he was doing me a favor by selling me something I didnt want and wouldnt have needed if his crew had done what I had discussed with the salesperson.Since he gave me a discount by providing them with my credit card up front, Im sure theyll take my money and Ill have no recourse. Expensive mistake on my part.... We have contacted their corporate headquarter so I am hoping for some positive resolution.

I requested a quote to install new gutters and the Leaf Filter product on my home. The salesman (Randy) visited us and provided the quote. After the evening discussing the deal, my wife and I decided to accept the offer. I called Randy and left a message accepting the deal and asking him to email me the paperwork he needed signed. After waiting a bit and seeing no response I texted him. The following morning, having heard nothing, I called and texted again. Finally I got a call back, and Randy tells me youre not going to like this, then he informs me his boss told him he had written too low of an estimate, and that the price was off by $850 !!! These people are not to be trusted.

They allow their employees to have a mess in their yard and products delivered to a neighborhood. Old gutters throw on lawn and left. Wont use them because of filth they allow.

Awful experience!!! Quoted $18,000 for my house and $3,500 for the garage and I already had the gutters. Then said if I could sign today he could drop it to $8,000. I’m not stupid!!!

Beware. This company shouldn’t be in business. After paying way to much, the installers showed up and allegedly installed their product. Then during a normal rain, I noticed that water was overflowing the gutters in places. I called and they sent out an installer who installed baffles. The baffles have now collected a large amount of leaves, sticks and pine needles. I called again and was told that there would be a $95 service charge. Their personal are rude, incompetent and totally unaware of polite customer service. Knowing now what I know, I would never use this company nor their product. I would urge anyone thinking about using this company to think again. Their promises mean nothing, their word is worthless and they shouldn’t be in business.

Very pleased with all aspects of the Leaf Filter product. The presentation was straight to the point -- friendly but professional, thorough and clear what the product was, and wasnt. The installers were out four days later and although I have a fair amount of gutters, they were done in 90 minutes. Excellent service. Weve had several hard rains since and the filters work like a charm. Couldnt be happier.

Do not not waste your money on this company. The sales person promised existing gutters would be cleared and sealed. The installer did not clear debris and now our gutters are leaking because they are not sealed and the installer did not angle the gutters enough so water is held up on the side that the downspout isn’t. They claim to have great customer service and stand behind their product but every time I try to talk to someone, they tell me it is not their fault. They blamed it on us needing additional downspouts for an outrageous price. Do not waste money or time on this company!

Had no problem getting protectors installed in one day. Came as stated and installed the next day. It only took a few hours. The installer aligned the gutter, sealed the seams and installed the LeafFilter, as stated. Only giving a four because the filters have not been up very long.

Thank God for Google reviews. Had Salesman in my house and although I like the product and was very close to proceeding I held back. I then went to the reviews and unfortunately my concerns were validated. I can see it wasnt necessarily the Salesman or this particular location. It is obviously the way Leaf Filter trains their Sales people to get the deal. When a company insists you sign immediately and have the job done the following day something is not right. I saw this was similar with many other reviews but what I did not know at the time was that there were major install issues as well. How they have such good reviews via Consumer Reports and Angies List is curious. The product itself seems good but the company and its way of doing business leaves a lot to be desired.

Nothing but the best. When the original salesperson had car trouble, the manager himself came and explained how LeafFilter works. The salesman showed up on time but he gave me a quote of 6739$ for about 100ft of gutters. He refused to provide details for the quote because my wife was not present due to a twin pregnancy and COVID restrictions. Thanks but no thanks. Poor sales tactics are blatantly obvious, rude, and poor customer service.

The installation and product seem fine so far. However, I agree with the other two reviewers comments about the sales/service tactics. On the day of installation, I was informed that I needed to be present to inspect the installation. I could not leave work on such short notice and advised of this fact. The gentleman with whom I spoke said that would be fine, and that the inspector would return to meet me at the house when I got home from work so that we could perform the inspection. As it turned out, they did not complete the installation in one day due to rain, which was fine. It was raining the following day, so the inspection could not be completed that day either. The guy called and wanted to do the inspection the following day, but I had a scheduling conflict. I offered to do it anytime the following two days, but he said he would be out of town for the holiday weekend so we scheduled a time for the following Tuesday. Then he said that he really needed to get my check so he could pay the crew. Wait, what?? Is this business operating on so thin a margin that it cant pay its crews?The time came the following Tuesday for the scheduled inspection, and the inspector did not show up. Instead, the original salesman appeared and said he had been sent just to pick up my check. He knew nothing about an inspection, and said he didnt have a ladder to do it. At this point, I was incredibly frustrated. I told him to talk to the guy who was supposed to do the inspection, and I then left the house to go pick up my children. Upon returning, I found a business card in the door signed by the inspector, saying that he had been in the area and had inspected the installation. However, I wasnt present, and that was the whole point, was it not? I have been very displeased by the disorganized, unprofessional hustle. Once the installation was done, it became clear that all they cared about was getting a check, and not completing the inspection and ensuring customer satisfaction. I will definitely not be recommending the company to anyone else.

I ordered my gutters on Friday and they were installed 3 days later. They look fabulous! Mike M., the representative of the company who came to my house, helped me pick out the color of the gutters because I am terrible at doing that! The color he picked for me is perfect with my house. The installers were polite and answered all my questions, they were efficient, and even after battling horrible traffic to get my house, extremely nice. Everything that was promised was delivered and there were no surprises. This is the kind of company I like dealing with!

They never leave a voicemail but will NOT stop calling. Absolutely obnoxious way to run a business - I am not interested in your service please stop calling me.

Just an FYI do not EVER invite Leaf Filter Gutter company to your home. Their pushy and over the top salesman disrespected me in my own home, and said we had ample time to make a decision because we contacted them in April. Our special needs daughter had been in the hospital for a month which is why we had to push the date out. When we told him we were not buying today he got angry and said we wasted his time. All we wanted was a quote and we had somewhere to be this afternoon. As soon as we realized it might be out of our price range, we told him thank you and we wouldn’t take anymore of his time. Extremely aggressive sale tactics. The salesman’s name was “Lou”.

Beyond disappointed, I would never do business with this company again. The salesman is very good at his job and makes promises that are not kept. The installation had to be rescheduled with no notice. Then when it was installed it was not fully completed. We had to call several times to try and get them to return to do the install. When they installed a downspout they damaged it and when asked to replace it tried to charge us $180, by the way its still damaged. Then, the first time it rained...it was like nothing had been done. The gutters still leak and drip near the doors. Again, when contacted to fix, no one responded for 2 weeks. And when they did wanted to again charge us $180 to fix. It was never installed correctly because if it had been we clearly wouldnt have leaking less than a month later. The whole sales pitch that they will cover issues and own your gutters for life is bull. Its been 2 months and guess what - weve had no resolution. I would never recommend this company to anyone, they dont stand behind their promises, cannot communicate with their customers & overall SUCK!!

I used them when I moved into my home 5 years ago. The actual screen system works well, but they apparently do not know anything about how a regular gutter system works. They took short cuts with the routing system and I had a recycle barrel that one went down to. They routed it to go straight into the barrel, not both ways like it was. When it pours the barrel overflows every time. They also didnt even replace a section on the other side that also went into a recycle area. They routed it to go directly in also. My gutters overflow from the roof . Also whatever they used to put the item in with, now has turned the top of my gutters a light black color and pressure washing doesnt come close to getting it cleaned. It was poorly done. The screen system works great, I will say that. But do to the quality of my gutters now, they need replaced because it? I was promised that they would fix all those problems at install, not only was it not completed but somehow made worse. I called them and left messages a couple months into it afterwards, I was told someone would call. Eventually I just accepted I had been taken for money. Now I need new gutters and the system would need to be reinstalled again per someone else. Crazy! Find someone else to do it, not this company they do not stand behind their work or what they say when you get the consultation. Vedonna Sutton

Leaffilter was installed Feb. 2nd, My gutters were not cleaned or aligned as per contract, no sealant was applied per contract and worst of all the installation was poorly done so i wasted $ 4315.00 appr 25.00 per ft for a 2.00 per ft guard. water flows behind and over the gutter in light rain. emailed my salesman no response, spoke to operations manager and was told we would meet.. 1 week has passed and no call. what a waste of money ! WARRANTY i dont think they know the meaning of the word.

Ill keep this short. Originally, this was a 1 star review. I was happy with the product but the customer service was lacking, post installation. After posting this review along with a TrustPilot review with a one star rating, the local operations manager reached out to me. Long story short, he took responsibility for a miscommunication on his end between he and the sales rep that dealt with me. He fixed the issue and the refund I was supposed to get originally for LeafFilter being unable to install a section of gutter on a portion of my house is being sent to me. I cant give them 5 stars just from the small headache Ive had to deal with, but if you throw out the miscommunication, I have no problem recommending LeafFilter of Summerville for gutters and gutter protection. Im posting this on my wifes google account. Mine wont let me post for some reason.

Salesman spent 45 minutes selling me on the filters. Charged me for a “complete gutter system.” One year later, I found out thevfilters were never installed. They wanted $700 more to install the filters. Definitely a bait and switch tactic. Very disreputable company. Beware.

After spending $5000 on this produce I have to clean the screens more than I had to clean my gutters before the product was installed. When I contacted the company they sent a installer to inspect the problem. The installer informed me that the salesman was no longer with the company and had made promises the company would not be keeping.

Please just look up the YouTube videos of people that have had this system for a while. The screens get particulates in them and clog up anyway, leaves cover the screens and cause the gutters to sag and pull away from your home. Top contractors and builders all over the US will tell you to avoid this product because as soon as you have your gutters and you enevitably have a problem then you can’t get anyone to return phone calls, they’ll claim it’s not their issue, you’ll get every excuse in the book. I’m so glad I passed on these gutters. Everyone I know in the Charleston area that has these will tell you to avoid them.

My project was not completed, there were no leaf filters installed on the gutters. This was not realized until some time after initial installation when i had opportunity to be on a ladder to do other repairs, I noticed that NO leaf filters were installed on the gutters.

I found them to be too aggressive in their sales tactics! Used car salemen of gutters! What a waste of time! Its an excellant product and I like it, so it gets 1 star for that. On the other hand the company is a hustle! Within 24 hours of scheduling, I had 4 calls from various Leaf Filter sources and not leaving messages. I knew something was up when corporate wanted a spouses number as well when scheduling and offered 10% off for it. (What, to sell or guerilla market?) Not a great start. I wanted to by-pass the sales schpeal and get down to business. Could not get a straight answer, when I finally did, come to find out it didnt include the top! WTH! The whole point of coming out was the system! Sorely dissapointed!
