Riding mower quit on me in the middle of mowing. I called Steve and he was able to diagnose the issue over the phone after hearing the details. One of his guys drove out and got me fixed up quickly!

Steve made my day. I called 11 different shops & no one could help me or even give me 1 minute of their time. When I called Steve, he help me over the phone & he gave me all of his attention, answered all my questions, & explained to me what I need to try to do myself before bringing my generator to him. If I cant fix it, I will be driving from Savannah GA to Summerville SC just to have Steve fix it for me. He is a very nice, & professional person who i will always goto for help if & when I need help with a small engine...thank you again Steve...

I want to thank Steve for helping me with an issue we had with our Troy-Bilt tractor that was given to my two twin sons (12) and one of their friends for their yard business. They used it one time and the PTO cable broke. Ordered a new one put it on and saw the drive belt was messed up so changed that also. Put everything back together and the PTO didnt work. looked at You Tube until my eyes bleed!! and anything else I could think of to see what the issue was and how we could fix it . Co-worker that has used Low Country told me to call and see if they could come out and look at it. Called Steve that next day and explained to him what I had and what I was dealing with. All I wanted to do is to get this running for my boys... Steve spent around 25 minutes on the phone with me going over many different areas of the deck to look at and WHAT to look for. He didnt need to do that, who the hell does that anymore? We hung up and I went to work, did everything we went over and after 2 hours I had this machine back together and running!! The boys were so happy!!Steve, Thank you!! You really didnt need to do that, but I am grateful you did sir.

What a great guy. I put in a web request and Steve called me very quickly. He told me how to diagnose my issue and confirmed if that is the issue that it isnt worth fixing on my 15 year old mower, even though its a great model. I will absolutely come back to him any time I have a need and recommend that you do too!

How a business should be run! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Called and got an answer first try. Informed Steve of the problem with my outboard motor and instead of trying to heckle me for money or service he was more than happy to help me solve the problem on my own instead before spending ridiculous amounts of money at an actual repair shop. As a service member who doesn’t have a lot of time to deal with these things this was extremely helpful. He identified and told me how to fix the problem immediately and it was spot on. If I ever have any problems in the future Steve and his business will be the first call I make.

I highly recommend Steve! Very friendly, responded quickly, and gave me some things to try/check before even scheduling a visit for my mower that wouldnt start. Quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad ignition coil/module and even advised that I could do the repair myself (to save some time/money). Will be happy to come back to him again should the need arise!

Ok coolest mechanic Ive ever talked to. I called about a transmission problem, his response was super honest...oh, no sir I dont do transmission work, but... And we carried on with conversation about my potential problem with my 2003 Mercury. He referred me to the best transmission guy in town. Bottom line, if you dont understand how hard it is to find a good, honest mechanic these days, then you havent owned a vehicle lol.

I found Steve through a Google search and I can say I’m happy that I did. Steve was very knowledgeable, and exhibited excellent customer service. He and his son serviced an older edger and lawn mower that hadn’t run in a while. He quickly diagnose the problems and now they are running like new. Honesty I highly recommend his services. I made an appointment and he was prompt and got right to work. He also gave me a lesson in how to maintain my mower and edger. Five ⭐️ all the way!

Long story short: went to Driggers for a lawn mower blade. They sold me the wrong one, took it back, they could not find it in the right one in the system and told me to call the manufacturer. I called and they said it is discontinued. (The mower is only 2 years old.) I have a good working mower with no blade....thought to myself, get it sharpened. Driggers didn’t offer to do that for me. Which, I would never go in that store again!!I called Lowcountry Mobile. He said he would be able to get out to me for a few weeks, but it I was able to swing over to his shop he would sharpen it for me. No charge!!! It may not seem like a big deal to some people out there. To me it was..., God bless you for your kindness!!!

Called Steve, told him problems I was having with my lawnmower, and he told me that he could come out that afternoon. I was unavailable thenand we determined that he would come out on Tuesday to accommodate my schedule. He came out today and within a very short period of time had that mower running. I was very impressed with their timely schedule and the work they did on my mower. I would highly recommend them and intend on telling others about them. Thank you Steve👍🏻

Steve was great. I found his service after running over a root with my push lawnmower. He worked with me over the phone to ensure the issue I was having with my lawnmower was worth paying to have him come out for. By the end of the call we had diagnosed the problem and I had a window of time he would be able to come out with a quote I was comfortable with.He showed up within a few days and my lawnmower was good as new. I was happy to pay for the work and the convenience of having him come to me instead of going to a shop. I would recommend them to anyone who has this chore hanging over their heads to figure out in their free time. Call Steven and he’ll fix it.

Couldnt get my generator started for nothing I called Lowcountry Mobile Mechanic he came out to my home and what in 30 minutes he had it running beautiful and the price was awesome great job five stars

Great communication, prompt, and took care of my small engine issue in no time flat. Will use again if needed! You might pay a little higher for the mobile side of it, but the convenience of having it fixed faster than 2 round trips to a service shop was worth it. Thanks Steve and son!

Needed help with parts when all stores was closed and he called me back withon 10 minutes and helped me solve my problem fast and easy no headaches

I left a message for Steve on a Saturday morning to ask about my lawnmower which had several issues. He called me back within 10 minutes and told me he did not have his schedule in front of him but thought he would be in my area on Tues/Wed of the following week. On Wednesday he called to let me know that he would have one of his sons come by to evaluate the mower. He was able to work around my schedule and his son Ethan did come by. It took him less than 5 minutes to assess the damage and told me what would be needed to repair it. I then got on the phone with Steve and we discussed options. It is so rare these days that someone actually shows up when they say they will, and actually follows through on all accounts. I would highly recommend Steve and his company for any repairs needed. This is the type of individual that I like to do business with!

Had Steve out to look at our generator and he charged us $42 without really giving us a real quote to fix the generator or any real diagnosis.. Only mentioned a starter switch that was possibly bad and said that part was $400.. I have looked up all starter switches for our generator and they are all under $70.. Steve was at our home for all of 20-30mins.. If someone asks you to come out and give a quote for repair actually give them a diagnosis of what is actually wrong not just a guesstimate of what might be wrong..Edit to review: You told us initially it was the starter switch.. Now it’s the ignition coil.. I looked it up and found the unfindable ignition coil for around $80 still not close to the quoted part price

Steve has been working on my lawn mower for a couple of weeks. He has communicated very well to let me know what was going on, what needed to be fixed, and what he had accomplished. My lawn mower had been sitting for a couple of years, and hes got it up and running. He gave me a quote at the first meeting, and he has stuck to his quote, even when unexpected things have come up. Very thankful for his work.

Gave Lowcountry Mobile a call one evening the very next morning he was there to look at my lawn mower. Parts had to be ordered, as soon as parts came in he was there the same morning to make repairs. He’s prices are very competitive for a mobile mechanic. Mower repaired an less than an hour and a half, runs better than when I bought it. Very satisfied

Great experience! Steve responded to my call set a day and time to come to our house. Steve and his son came out earlier than expected took care of servicing my mower(oil change, fuel system flush, blade sharpening) blower and weed eater. Very convenient and cost effective. EXCELLENT customer service and very fair pricing. Called Lowcountry Mobile Mechanic and they were at my door in a matter of hours. I bought a generator several years ago and did not need it until Hurricane Dorian. Apparently I put some old/bad gas into the generator and tried to start it, things went very south from there. Steve came out, checked it all out in a very pleasant manner and fixed it..... Then he double checked it by asking me to plug something into it. Been working fine ever since.

Wow! I really cant say enough great things about how personable, professional and reliable Steve is. I dont write reviews often, but man does he deserve it. I have a furniture company on the west coast and we had a table that was terribly damaged in shipping. We couldnt find anyone capable of doing an on-site welding repair in the Charleston area for weeks, but thankfully we finally found the Low Country Mobile Mechanic. I called one afternoon and hit voicemail. Steve returned my call before I was finished with my message and was able to get me scheduled for a carb cleaning within 2 days at my house. Fixed the issue with the mower but it ended up still leaking fuel after a day. Steve made a return trip and figured out the issue, made a recommendation on a part after checking his personal inventory for it. Purchased the part and he came back and installed it in no time, mower is working great now. Will be back to Steve for future mower service and would certainly recommend him as he is mobile and communicates well.

I needed to have my John Deer riding lawn mower repaired. The first place I thought of was Driggers, but when I called them and discussed my lawn mower issue they said that they would not be able to look at it for at least six weeks and also would charge $60 to pick up my lawn mower. I found Steve while performing a Google search. I contacted Steve and left a voice message. He promptly called me back and I described my lawn mower issues. He scheduled an appointment two days later that fit with my schedule. Once Steve arrived and looked over the lawn mower he was able to tell me right away what was wrong with my carburetor and valves. The price he quoted my was extremely fair. The lawn mower is running like it is new.

I didnt use his service, however I called because I was stranded with my motorcycle. No other services would help me.He was booked up for the day but took his time to recommend me someone to call. He didnt have to do that, but anyone willing to help someone out in a desperate situation like that has awesome customer service
