My wife and I recently joined. Ive been a member of several gyms and this one tops them all. She takes advantage of a lot more of the Gym than I do with the great additional things offered with the membership. Everyone has been very polite to me and helpful. The pool is very nice too.

This place is a rip off! Once they have your debit card....LOOK OUT!I HAVE BEEN CHARGED 170+ DOLLARS EVERY MONTH! Most of the time I am denied entry for non-payment. The people at the desk are ALWAYS confused and you are never allowed to see a bill. I havent been in for months, and still being charged $170 DOLLARS. i was told to end my membership in November, that I still owe for Dec, Jan, and Feb. Never let these people get your card number! Then they blame ME with no explanation. They are run by a computer glitch. The company that bills you doesnt comunicate with the actual club. Beware! Never been treated worse anywhere...even the Drivers licence office!

I have been a member since 2013 with Lifetime Fitness. They decided to raise rates as if I was a new member. The going rate for new members is $130 a month. I was paying $80. The raised the rates $50 dollars from what I was paying. I called to ask about it and the person who took my call stated that the rates are subject to change. Lifetime, is taking advantage of customers. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to the gym. They are ripping people off.

The indoor slides only serve as a backup to the outdoor pools. They are NEVER scheduled to be open. The outdoor slides are ONLY open on the weekends. The leisure and 1 or both of the whirlpools pools are commonly closed for unknown reasons (even the staff I ask does not know why). The different rooms have completely strange hours. For example, the rock climbing room is only open for half the days of the week. The way it should work is that the entire building should be open whenever the club is open. Picking and choosing what features/rooms are open is pretty terrible considering the amount of money it cost to have a membership at Lifetime Fitness.

I moved here from San Antonio and let me membership go. After being diss appointed at this location I decided to just stop my membership. This club should consider sending their employees to other locations for training.

The sweat sauna is AWESOME 👌besides the Yoga classes with Lee which r the best yoga classes I had so far in my 5 years of practicing different yoga styles... definitely will b back ❤

NOT A HONEST BUSINESS.Lifetime want money so bad that even the membership was canceled in person as THEIR REQUEST in August.They STILL CHARGED September !!!The customer service on the phone was rude, and claimed there was NO MANERGER to talk to and on duty.They have good amenities; HOWEVER, service is HATEFUL. Lifetime, people just want to cancel their membership, so how long and how much time do you want people to spend on it?DEALING WITH LIFETIME IS A WASTFUL OF TIME.THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS ARBITRARILY.

Would give zero stars if I could. Tried to cancel last year and a rep talked me into putting membership on hold, then was auto charged monthly fees for 6 months this year with supposedly a few email reminders that I never saw. Company this big would not refund one penny of the more than $700 they charged me when I haven’t set foot in their facility for two years. Greedy and exceptionally poor customer service!!! Do not trust their sales people!

My most favorite GYM/FITNESS Center in Sugarland & Houston Area. Very Large area having all kind of modern Equipments, exercises Tools which help communities fit & healthy by physical exercises.

Ive been a member since March. Overall the place is nice, neat and managed well. But please do not leave credit card or debit card in their system, you might be sneaky charged for minor amount that you didnt even notice...

The pool is open for family until 8pm now, which is very good.

Used to be a nice decent gym but presently with theheightenedrates, change of operation hours its certainly not worth the money at all. Gym itself is somewhat clean and kept kind of up to date and they have nice amenities but besides that this really isn’t it anymore in terms of gym background. LA fitness has pretty much the same stuff for a fraction of the rate...

I have reached out to the manager a few times about how dirty the gym is. The floor is dirty, the bathrooms are dirty. Last Tuesday I had to go to the gym at 7pm. There was a person smoking weed inside the gym and I had to deal with the smoke. There was no one to be found upstairs. There were towels all over the floor. No one cleaning, just absolutely dirty. I left the gym and sure enough all employees were downstairs chatting and on their phones. Management is just terrible and the place is dirty. I also go to Planet Fitness and I pay 10% of the price and the gum is 100% cleaner.

As like other lifetime this one is also fairly good... As a company although their charges are slightly higher but I would say they provide top class service and I have to credit lifetime for their environment which makes me go 5 time a week for last 5 years as the space is not overcrowded with machines

Amazing Place for a family great place to get in shape its like a resort its a must go for me.

So i signed up on june 19 for a month. So naturally i expect my next charge to be july 19. No it was july 2nd. Apparently, it doesnt matter when you sign up. they will always charge you on the 1st of each month as opposed to a month after you sign. So technically i payed two months of membership after just being there for 11 days. No one ever communicated this to me. Watch you wallets folks

Several pools, loads of equipment … awesome local fitness center

Former member and employee (promoted) that witnessed policy and time card violations. Reported. No one cared. Local Clubs Run Leader had stepped up to cover club and was later promised Run Coordinator role, but she was not given in the job...it was given to a younger trainer with significantly less experience. Having worked at more than one club and visited many, there is not much difference due to the toxic culture. As one RVP said, We [Lifetime] are often to prideful to admit issues [let alone address].

Our experience here have been a very good one. We plan on staying at this gym.

This place has really gone down hill. On top of it being packed all the time, at the start of my workout I saw a huge cockroach scurry out of a crack near the free weights only for someone with an ankle monitor to throw a ten pound weight at it. I then had to finish my hour long workout near a cockroach with its guts all over the floor.

Hella overpriced if you’re just looking to workout and not use all of the amenities. I think the company is tailored more toward families with young kids rather than young professionals. Either way save your wallet some money every month and go elsewhere

I cant stand the GM at this location. Everytime they have a midday visit by the corporate checkbox checkbox people, this gym is suddenly cleaned up but then during any odd day, it is a complete mess. Smh.

Great place, friendly staff, clean facility! Kids center staff and Aquatics staff are all great and work well with my 3 year old. The gym is good and making sure it stays cleans, sanitation supplies are always stocked and everyone has their masks, which isn’t the easiest, but they get it done!

A big, luxurious gym in the heart of Sugar Land. Life Time Fitness has a big family-friendly indoor and outdoor pool with slides, along with two hot tub saunas and one dry heat sauna and free towels to use. There’s basketball courts and workout machines for every need. But of course, membership costs a lot more than many regular gyms.

The gym need some cleaning and the machines needs to be replaced, some are old.

Straight up lifetime fitness is a waste of money during covid seriously for the amount of money we paid I’m sure they can hire staff that are willing to work longer hours. Some of us do not have 9-5’s. They need to have longer hours.

I went to this gym for about a month while on pcs leave. Paid for a month to month membership and forgot to cancel. Kept getting charged every month, but after speaking to the sales manager, Ketan, I was reimbursed for 4 months of payments and this really made me happy that I received my money back. Overall great gym and staff. Props to Ketan, as he is a very professional and understanding manager. Thanks Lifetime! :)

Do not come to this overpriced trash dirty gym, you pay 110 plus tax a month and only alound to bring in 1 person per month and if you want to bring in anymore that will be an extra 30 bucks plus tax per day. Not even worth it when it is super dirty, weights all over the floor, no one wears a mask at all and it is super crowded, definitely a place to catch covid so stay away! Plus if u want to workout goodluck and have fun waiting 30min for 1 piece of equipment ! Oh and the managers dont care for customer service.

I love this gym for my family and I but I dont care so much for the staff whos only focus it to get new clients for the gym! Youre nothing but a dollar sign to them! But the other staff are quite polite and always willing to help! love the gym equipment options! i also love the locker room set up and shower. The sauna and steam rooms are very small! Dont really care much for them but i still use them tho! lol Oh and I enjoy the spa! My experience wasn’t the best at first, but ever since I’ve loved it! Overall it’s just a really nice gym w/ pretty decent amenities!Oh and my daughter LOVES the gym daycare! She’s made a lot of lil friends lol and the staff love her and are always so welcoming to her when the see her come in the building! She’s 6 and too popping for her own good! Please help!

I really enjoy this gym. The bad ratings come from people that go at the busiest times, and are surprised to see that things get dirty. The staff constantly cleans. I go in the mornings, and the staff is friendly, and the facilities have been cleaned. I also see bad ratings because people dont know how the contracts work, and they complain about having to notify them 30 days out, or there is a change in price after they leave. Im going to look out for this Adriana though, shes all over the reviews.

Life Time facilities have ruined it for me when it comes to other gyms. Their prices are high but for good reason. Restrooms are so clean, and the staff is extremely helpful. The weight room never had a machine down, and if it does you can expect it to get fixed right away.

I actually really love this gym! I moved from out of state recently and was hoping to find a place that felt like home. The gym itself has many perks and amenities that are awesome: saunas, pools, the cafe and spa, excellent selection of weight room equipment, the bathrooms are nice and clean. Honestly, the humans Ive met at this club are what makes this club unique - my most favorite of which being the friendly and incredibly loving front desk girl (Adriana!) who took the time to not only warmly welcome me but who never misses an opportunity to address me by name and ask about my family and how I am acclimating in Texas, to the trainers on the upper floor (David and James specifically!) to the cafe staff (Mike!) who knows my order before I even walk up to the counter. The level of professionalism and kindness that these humans show to members is exactly why I love this club so much. They give it heart. Stoked on being here!

I been going to this gym for almost a year now and I love it. The staff is very attentive, the gym is always clean and doesnt smell like sweaty men. Its one of the busier lifetimes so its rare to find it empty. Excellent covid precautions, staff constantly cleaning, everyone wears a mask(even though I hate wearing them), plenty of cleaning supplies to wipe machines with and a lot of hand sanitizer available.

We’ve been lifetime members on and off since 2002 at both Cinco and the Sugarland location. There was a time when Cinco Ranch was the club to go to but that time has passed. We recently decided to give the sugarland club another try and I’m sure glad we did. This club might have more registered members but it sure doesn’t seem like it. We’ve gone at 3:30pm and at 5:00pm and we’ve never felt like it’s crowded. As far as this Covid world we live in for now I feel very comfortable working out at this club. They do temperature checks at 2 stations (to prevent a line) and require masks only while walking through the club (not working out). You do see them wiping down equipment and there’s plenty of alcohol wipes if you need them. Needless to say this is our home club again!

Love this place! Such a fun place to workout and spend my free time. Staff is great, club amenities are beautiful. No other gym compares! Way to go Lifetime!

This place is positively gorgeous, and very well maintained, but because it has become a teen hang-out place, parents drop off their kids, and they sit on the equipment and text and do selfies. I found I was always leaving angry. The price is outrageous and they refuse to have ceiling fans, because of the aesthetics, so your sweat has no chance of evaporating. Classes are all packed. I finally quit, and joined 24 Hour Fitness and Dynamic Fitness for much less than my $75/month membership fee at Lifetime.

Love this place! Amazing staff and amazing amenities! This gym has ruined all other gyms for me. Well done Life Time!

My wife and I have been active Gold members for seven years, and we have two daughters who are also on the membership with us. However, recently, both my daughters have been having issues whenever they are being scanned in, specifically by a employee by the name of Adriana. She has caused a nuisance multiple times with them. Our daughters are 23 and 12, and whenever Adriana is at front, our daughters have experienced trouble with her letting them in. She claims that my older daughter may not take my younger one inside as they are not on the same family membership and the parents will always have to be there for the 12 y/o to go in. After resolving this issue with member services, we were told my elder could freely take the younger one after they issued the 12 y/o a card. No problems happened until just today when again my elder daughter took our youngest and Adriana (the assistant member services manager) stopped them and informed them that our youngest is no longer active on the account. They tried to get more information on the issue but Adriana would not elaborate. My daughters called me and explained what happened so I asked to speak with the employee as I had no indication from the club that this has happened. Adriana spoke with me on my daughters phone and was very rude throughout the entire conversation. She kept giving me attitude and was not helpful at all. She kept repeating that corporate had reached out to us, whereas there were no such communication whatsoever. My daughters also noticed her body language where she stood rolling her eyes and huffing all the time. I asked her to send me an email explaining why she could not let them in and what was needed for us to reactivate my daughters membership. She told me that she was going to send an email in a couple of minutes with that information, however, all I received was a promotional email to which I did respond confirming our conversation. She held my daughters for fifteen minutes before letting them in. I am very disappointed in this type of conduct from Lifetime and Adriana. I expected better customer service for being a longtime loyal member.

Absolutely love the gym. You have access to almost anything you can think of. Clean pools, basketball gym, rock climbing, sauna, jacuzzi, yoga and Pilates classes, salon, healthy meals (to buy), kids camp, etc. Youll love it!I gave 4 out 5 stars because for the time being they are under renovations, so access to some things (like the womens locker room) is either restricted or nonexistent. Once thats done, 5 out 5 stars worthy.

The expirience is definitely worth the amount of money spent. They have everything including, multiple of every lifting station, a pool, basketball, yoga, and everything youd expect from a high end gym.

I had been a member since 2015 and we put the membership on hold then finally cancelled in June. I called up the gym on August 24th to ask about re-in statement and was told twice by their sales staff and the front desk to come by before 8/30 and resume the membership. I showed up on 8/29 and was told the rate would go up to $99 v/s the $89 I was given over the phone. They kept quoting me their so-called policies but its a shame they hide behind their staffs incompetence. They should have found a way to make this right but instead chose to act like its okay to jack up prices when clearly the pandemic has hit us all badly and people are struggling to get back to their normal lives.

I love the gym. It’s ample rooms to showers with towels. No issues there. But I ran into repetitive issues every year with holiday opening hours. They never open door at right time on the morning of Friday after the thanksgiving day. Around 10 people waited to no avail and I left at 0430. It was supposed to have opened at 0400. This happened every year for several years now.

Its ridiculous that they wont consider relocation as an exception for membership cancellation. In fact, I was told by the manager that immediate termination is only possible if its your own death. Who even says that? Its unacceptable, this is plain greed at its finest. With the level of prestige and luxury that the Lifetime chain claims to be, it seems to me that there is a serious lack of professionalism. Please consider wisely and use your honest judgment if you are thinking about joining.As a warning to everyone who is still here, or is thinking of opening an account... beware once you try to cancel your membership because membership service staff will not give you an easy time. For the amount of money that you have to dish out, there is no excuse. I expect more for what I am paying for. Also, you would think that since membership dues keep increasing they would do a better job at maintaining and keeping the gym clean... I get so disgusted at the amount of hair thats everywhere inside the showers and the dirty towels that are thrown around all over the place. I also cant tell you how many times where Ive walked into the restroom and no toilet paper was available. As a result, over five years have now gone straight down the drain. To say that I am disappointed is a complete understatement.

Terrible staff. Dirty area EVENTHO they seem to appear walking vacuuming.Dirt is visible under all of the machines piles of dust and hair. Also the air vents are covered in dirt and dust. The machines are packed in so tight youre almost touching the person next to you. Absolutely terrible experience for what you have to pay. Only thing halfway decent is the outdoor pool.

When are you going to open later hours? It should be open till at least 1am. Closing at 10pm is a joke for how much we are paying, there is no mask rule anymore

Love this place i wish they will stop raising price and renovating for something that doesnt need to renovate so they can just increase their price. I am very surprise it only gained 2.8 rating.

I love this club so much! All the staff is very friendly; they really try to get to know you as in individual. The facility is always clean!I also love the cafe! They have a great variety of delicious and healthy food!Not to mention, its pretty cool how they have a Spa inside of the gym! I have always had fantastic services when I go to the spa and I love how inviting all the technicians are!The Lifetime Fitness Sugar Land feels like a second home to me!

I joined this club at the end of December, and Ive been super impressed with how nice and welcoming the staff is at this location. I especially want to give a huge shout out to Ashley Murphy, one of LTFs group fitness instructors. She is so energetic and informative (gives a lot of different options for all levels of training so you do not have to be an advanced athlete to get a great workout). I highly recommend this club!

Kids club and swim academy staff is amazing. They have a real problem with consistency of the rest of the staff: some are great, most act like they dont care. Cleanliness is a big issue here. Locker rooms and showers are usually pretty dirty (hairballs, underwear, band aids) and theres never enough towels, not even at the pool area. Its rare to see staff going around the locker rooms making sure that theyre clean and tidy. Weve complained to staff, and it seems everyones aware of these issues, but the problem persists. Id love to give a higher rating because the facilities and variety of services are great, and the hours and location are very convenient, but they just need to get in line with other life time clubs in terms of cleanliness.

I have been a member of this gym close to 14 years now and im there 6 days a week.. i have nothing but good things to say about this place.. The people who work here are very friendly and kind ... its a place where you can come with your family.. the equipment they have is top of the line.. the group fitness classes are jam packed which means they are GOOD .. there fitness trainers are well trained and highly knowledgeable... there cafe serves healthy food .. i eat there every day.. the spa has top notch hairstylists .. massage therapists and skin care technicians .. i get my massages .. hair done and facials from the spa.. the locker room is always clean ( UNLESS THE MEMBERS THROW TRASH ON THE FLOOR) the staff in there works very hard to keep this place clean.. IM VERY HAPPY TO BE A PART OF THIS GYM.. would not trade it for no other gym in this world !!!!!

I have been a membership with Lifetime Fitness for 7 years and I cant go to the gym due to covid-19. The gym also closed for few months due to covid-19. I just noticed LifeTime charged me monthly fee so I called LifeTime to cancel the membership because Im not comfortable going back to the gym. I spoke to the membership manager Michael Cairnes and asked him to give me the refund since I have not been going to the gym and not planning to go anytime soon, but Michael said he needs 30 days of notice before the billing cycle so he is going to give me a refund, and also going to charge me at least 11 days in July for around $30.

I love this gym. Wasnt too wild about the guy selling me a membership but the rock wall was the main reason I picked this gym and it was awesome. The people who work at the rock wall are super friendly, nice, and helpful. The only thing I dont really like is how limited the rock wall hours are. The trainers in the regular gym are helpful and also nice. The selection of workout equipment and the state its in is great. The locker rooms are pretty clean and spacious. Ive never seen them in a gross state like others are talking about. Spotless? No. Its a constantly moisture rich environment so you have to expect some funk but they keep it not disgusting. Have you checked out the other gyms in the area? I dont worry about leaving my son in the child center. It doesnt smell weird and he always looks like hes had a good time. Overall, I love the place. Its a tad pricey but you get what you pay for.

Im a Life Time member and love the location I frequent. I was in the area and went to this location and have to say it is not up to the Life Time Fitness standards. I would not recommend this location to anyone looking to go on a regular basis.

The gym is big and nice, however a lot of their staff is rude, Adriana Connell never ever smiles back when she is at the front desk and so are some others don’t remember their names. Recently I called the member services number and Amy, a lead associate spoke to me extremely rudely when I was just trying to get some help on my account.1. On Machines or someplace visible it should specifically say that if another client is waiting then the member should alternate sets; however nothing is mentioned anywhere and as a result I often see people sitting on machines for 12-15 mins, they do a set; check their phone, sit on the machine and chill there till all 3 sets are over.2. Sauna room should be quite however here people play loud music and talk loudly and no one can calmly stay n breath quietly inside. A note outside the Sauna room would help but management doesn’t care working on feedback.3. Family locker room have same gender in the shower room. Eg - mother-daughter and father-son. A note should be specifically put outside each bathroom stating “if you are of the same gender as your younger one; do not use this shower” . I have always waited 15-20 mins in the family locker room with my son after his swim to give him a bath and I always see a father n son walking out or a mother-daughter walking out.. this is not acceptable; I’m never allowed to take my 4 year old to the ladies shower room and the family locker room is occupied by same gender.I quit the gym cause definitely the price I was paying was way too much for the services received.This Setting should work for clients who took the membership several years ago and are paying Less than $50 per person, however for someone like us who pay more than $85 this gym is a rip off.

What can I say about this place other than it has It all 2 floors of pure excitement, any machine you think of its there

Ive been a member at this gym for 4-5 years. The gym is fine, but I hate their business policy, especially the one month advance policy if you want to hold your membership or change anything. Besides, they charge you a fee whenever you want to make a change. The sales guy is just very slick, but you can tell they are thinking about commission rather than there being helpful.On the positive side, the locker room is cleaner than other gyms. That is why I am still going there, but I am seriously considering cancel my membership.

Love this Gym, its better then the other gym I was a member at. The fitness classes are amazing, the machines and weight lifts works great, the locker rooms are so clean, and the employees are so nice and great at there jobs. I have been a member since April 2017 and it has been so amazing. If you are looking for a Gym PLEASE I would highly recommend this Gym. I give this Gym 5 stars for the hard work they do here.
