After 5+ happy years with Dynamic Fitness, we are parting ways on bad terms. I suspect that theyre doing all they can to keep their business afloat during the pandemic, but that should never include false representation. After I requested an indefinite account freeze during the height of COVID in 2020, they chose to only freeze for three months. After another e-mail request in 2021 to freeze the account, they ignored me altogether. After filing complaints to the Better Business Bureau and Texas State Attorney General, they claimed that this was standard business practice. Is ignoring account freezes really standard business? Lastly, after visiting in person, and securing official documentation that my account has been cancelled, I find two months later that they are still charging my credit card. Sounds like I will have to take them to small claims court just to retrieve a couple hundred dollars. I realize that times are tough for businesses these days, and especially gyms, but ignoring valid requests from customers is should never be acceptable. I will make sure that the money they hope make off of me through false representation doesnt stay in their pockets. Why do they do it? Because they bank on getting away with it by most customers giving up.

I absolutely love this gym, the cleanliness, friendly staff and professionalism. I am especially happy with my trainer Chad White, he is extremely knowledgeable, always making sure my form is correct and the exercise is done properly .He’s very punctual and his sessions are only 30min… the longest 30 minutes ever !! I train with Chad White “5 days per week ( what was I thinking 😳). He said recently “I Love My Job”, I really believe he does, because its not only his job, its also his passion. There are many supposedly certified trainers… But “ Many are called but Few are Chosen “… The Quantity of trainers is at any gym, however the Quality is at Dynamic Fitness Sugarland. I am blessed to be able to train with him… and Trust the Process..If I miss a training, I miss an opportunity to improve myself. I’m 74yr old and my training is not an Expense ….its an Investment….

I have been going to Dynamic Fitness Sugarland for about two years now. This gym is absolutely amazing, from the front staff, to the cleaning staff, to the trainers, and regular clients. I have been training with Chad for about 6 months now, and I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made. Chad is very attentive and knowledgeable! I have learned so much from him and hope to continue to learn, he not only pushes me but also makes every session fun while ensuring that I get the best workout. Thank you Chad and everyone at Dynamic for making it a wonderful experience. :)

Joined February and I immediately felt comfortable. The trainers and staff members are always very sweet and helpful. The gym is always clean and well organized.

I was lied to about an annual fee when I signed up and got charged $50 without even being told by the manager himself. I also wasnt told about the hoops you have to jump through in cancelling the membership which includes a 30 DAY NOTICE!!! Now Im slapped with an extra month of membership fees because the absolute cockup of a salesperson, Mik, didnt learn key communication skills in signing on new members. They are NOT transparent! ITS A SCAM! GO TO FITNESS CONNECTION!

Expensive to cancel membership. The restrooms usually tend to be dirty. They did not let me know it would be so much to cancel. Now I’m stuck having to pay 180$. And it automatically renews every year so make sure if you are thinking about joining to keep that in mind

To the owner... We need to implement more rules to members about time limits on machine and equipment. Need to be more rules regarding putting up weights. There are too many machines that I feel are ineffective and need to be replaced. Been a members since the beginning and weight machines have not changed all that much.

These are scammers. The so called management are inadequate and disgustingly incompetent. They are only after your money no care or concern. This particular location refused to return back my money after I was hurt by one of their trainers. I have been at home for more than one month now, they refused to refund my balance to me. Instead they wanted me to come finish the sessions. They are just after your money. The managers and trainers work hand in hand, thats why I call them scammers. The worst part is there is no sensible one to talk to. Dynamic fitness your business is bad.

Great gym, cool employees, but they never answer the phone which is frustrating when I travel a distance to enjoy the facility.

Good gym to attend. Love the HOT TUB, pool and sauna are my favorites. The group work out classes are amazing .

Friendly staff I’ve been a client of this location for over 5 years and I’ve had not had any problems i literally have like 6 gyms on my way to Sugarland and I preferred to come to Dynamic

If I could give 0 stars to this establishment. I would. As long as Mr Mikiyas Woubushet is a manager here dynamic fitness will be ran to the ground. He’s incredibly clueless, and I’m not sure how he got his degree. This place has people coming out with injuries from their personal trainers, and not so much as a “sorry” comes out of their mouths. Do not come here

The gym itself gets the job done. It is very crowded from 430-730. However my complaint is the billing and customer service. I initially signed up for the premium service for access to tanning, massage, etc.. however I found out 2 days after signing up that the sauna and tanning services were not working. The tanning beds had half of the bulbs not working or flickering. The sauna was not working at all. I went to the front desk and he stated they were aware and needed parts to repair. I waited a few days and tried again and still not working. I tried speaking to a mgr 3x with no luck then finally 11 days after signing up I spoke w/Don who said he was a mgr. I explained the situation & asked that I simply downgrade to the gym only access membership which I felt was fair considering the premium services were not working. At first he stated that was not an option then he spoke to the GM & said they would allow it if I paid a fee to downgrade. I do not feel paying an additional fee is fair considering the circumstance. I asked to speak to the GM directly & Don stated he would have to call me back. I never got a call back. I have since called & left 5 messages, went by 2x and sent 3 emails with NO response. DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM! The customer service alone is shameful!

Dynamic Fitness has been great for me. Very clean and well kept environment. It definitely gets the job done. Also Brady, who is one of the trainers, is great! He is very friendly and knowledgeable about fitness. Highly recommend him!

This gym is great, it’s not too big or small. They have a variety of classes and amenities to make anyone feel welcomed. The pool and equipment are always clean too.

One of my friends here had the worst experience! Please y’all do not come to this gym. Their personal trainer had her do exercises that inflicted multiple injuries. And the management did nothing, not even a refund. These people are insane. Please take your business elsewhere

If you think at any point in the future you may try to leave this gym, think again. They will tell you at the front desk they cant help you cancel, and theyll have you go to website that tells you to send an email, and oh by the way you owe them whatever fees pop up until the person answers your email, and then someone will respond saying they need clarification, and in the meantime you owe them $180 dollars, but it isnt clear if that is to leave, or if you just owe them that, because the cancelation process took too long. At some point, someone asks you to come down in person, but they admit that they wont be able to cancel your membership, they just think you should speak to a manager.I liked various employees I met while I briefly attended before the pandemic. I kept the membership and personal training for a long time after the pandemic hit, and then I got pregnant and decided to cancel. They talked me into a freeze, which, it turns out, made leaving more complicated when I decided to cancel (apparently, freezing had extended my contract!). Buyer beware, I guess. If you dont have hundreds of dollars to spare, Id find somewhere else.

This facility in Sugarland is a great place to workout. Friendly. Convenient and clean. The equipment is kept up and they have hours for business that fit most people. Dynamic fitness has impacted my life and fitness experience. Its worth it. Try it. Youll like it!

This is a great gym for serious fitness enthusiast. They have lots of plans for every budget (yes, even $10 a month) and equipment is well maintained. I stopped short of giving them a 5 star rating due to their inconsistent mask wearing policy enforcement. There are customers that literally never don a mask, walk within less than 6 feet of you and flaunt their lack of respect for the communal rules. I complained about the situation to management and they assured me they are taking the matter seriously. Ill update my rating once that promise is fulfilled.Update 11/2/2020Just visited DF and immediately noticed more signage and the staff wearing masks. A lot more of the patrons were wearing masks too, making for a much more positive workout experience. There are unfortunately still the usual holdouts (individuals and couples) but Im confident that will change in the next couple of weeks (change is hard for some folks). Ive increased my rating to 4 stars due to managements rapid response to the review, manifesting their desire to keep and maintain a safe fitness environment. Ill revisit the review again next week as I want to give this great business a 5 star rating.

The manager and stuff is communicating at a professional rate and always makes you get the most of the services that Dynamic Fitness offers.

Location of this gym is perfect right off of 90 and Dairy Ashford. Super easy to get to and close to the highway. Lots of different equipment, and it’s pretty affordable. The hours are the only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars. It closes at 9 on weekdays still 4/5 months after reopening.Update 1/23/21- They’re open 24 hours now. I love it! They’ve installed an Open Path key, so you use your phone to get in the gym after staff hours, but the entire facility is still at your disposal. SUPER convenient. Don’t have to worry about making it before closing time now. AWESOME update, and very much appreciated.

Descent facility, though once a piece of equipment brakes. Expect it to be out of commission for weeks if not longer. My only complaint is the fact that they dont maintain their equipment too often to avoid failures and risking people getting hurt. (I hope so, as its getting a little worst) one of these going on 3weeks, other 2weeks. UPDATE (OCT 5TH AND STILL BROKEN)

Unethical and worst GYM service I have experienced .Firstly I was never informed on the annual contract which is haunting the whole membership cancellation process, they keep billing and not put the account in freeze meanwhile they try to resolve the issue, but guess what!!! no one try to resolve the issue they make it worse with 3rd party payment company which leave you nowhere to go, they ask you to call to the gym and gym ask you to call them.... this is harassment!!!!!!

This is a great place to workout. Clean and well kept. Social distancing in group exercise classes. Sanitizer available for cleaning equipment before and after use. Hours of operation are convenient. Give it a try.

Great place to workout they have sanitizer and wipes to clean the equipment after use and have every other cardio equipment marked to give everyone their own space. Masks are required unless you are doing high intensity workouts. The staff is very nice and helpful too.

Please do not waste your money. More than half of the cardio machines are out of order. People at the front are always on the phone and they stopped doing towels before covid.I cancelled my membership during covid and now I received a letter saying I owe money to collections even though I cancelled. I also called the office once they reopened and was told you are good and no need to worry about a call I received about bill and now I am stuck with a bill that was supposed to be cancelled.Please please save your money and go another gym with cleaner bathrooms, better cardio machines

I used to enjoy my time here as it was close by and great value. I canceled my membership here because an employee there made me feel very uncomfortable every time I went and staff didn’t do anything about it. I’ve talked to others who share my opinion. Be careful girlies.

This is a small-medium gym that is conveniently located. It has all the amenities that you would need in a gym. They have a variety of classes available as well. It is the perfect size and not usually too crowded to get the workout you want. Great gym for the price.

My friend Henry used to be an employee here and he introduced me to Dynamic 4 years ago. I haven’t left. I never canceled my membership even during the pandemic or lock down.I really love this gym because I have access to multiple locations. I called to cancelled my membership last month and was instructed to send an email request. I sent an email 8/26 to request my account be cancelled and was charged at end of month again. I have called several times only to be told a manager will call me back. Up to this point, no one has called me back. I keep calling only to be sent to a full voicemail. I have had this membership for 2 years and only visited 4 times. Their customer service is the worst. Am about to report them to BBB.

I wish I could give this gym a good review because the people are AWESOME, which is why I was willing to overlook subpar cleanliness and constant broken machines. That is, until they gave me a hard time for trying to cancel my membership a few months early. I have asthma, and with Covid I’ve been very cautious since I’m more susceptible (and so are both of my parents, as they have cancer). After I hit the maximum limit on the freeze on my account I called to cancel since covid is still in full force. They refused. They said I needed a dr note. So I made an appt, got the note, and submitted it to them. They then told me that the note wasn’t good enough. I ended up calling their billing company and they looked at my account and canceled it for me because they saw just cause. I was informed that all communication and decisions came from Dynamic Fitness Sugar Land, the billing company was just the “messenger”. I had heard numerous people complain about management at this location, now I’m experiencing their lack of professionalism first hand. After the amount of time and money I spent at this gym, not to mention the amount of people I brought in as members, it’s a slap in the face that they would fight me over less than $400 and question my health issues. This could be the last gym on the planet and I wouldn’t go back.

Fabulous facility and staff. However the pool water in inconsistent and they cancelled the Aqua class due to COVID many former class members are hoping they will resume the class after the no mask policy goes into practice on Wednesday

The Dynamic Fitness keeps their gym really clean right now! I like that Im able to go during my lunch break or after work. Its never too crowded and I can use the machines I want.

This gym is a complete fraud, they are scammers, beware! They had a lady who had been injured because of the exercises her personal trainer put her through and they did nothing. The management just covers for them. Get a gym membership anywhere but here.

Good location, good base price - they dont really list the annual fee on the website or in person - you have to ask them about it as they seem to not want to mention it at all. Overly pushy sales people, who again act like the annual fee doesnt exist.The 2 story gym setup is slightly off, as the entire 95% of folks are generally in the workout area, but its kinda slammed into one corner of the large space. You would think with all that extra empty space no one seems to use, you could balance it out a bit more.Machines and weights are good, you can get a good strong full body workout in.Before you sign up, just make sure you get real answers.

Inexpensive but not high class. Has the essential gym equipment. Two squat racks, 3 bench press and one power rack/cage. There is no free ez curl bar, only the preloaded ones.Go for the low price membership if you sign up. You will pay little and get little. Annual fee is opaque and will likely surprise you. At $54 it equals 5 months of $10 membership. Water fountains are warm. Weight racks are loose and might soon fall and drop weights. Honestly I recommend you pay more and find a higher tier gym.

Please beware that they will not inform you that if you want to downgrade your membership they will charge you an enrollment fee. This is very upsetting as I was debating between the lower and upper tier. I was told to get the upper tier and i could always call back and switch if I changed my mind. Now I’m stuck with a membership Idon’t need or want. VERY DISHONEST. Im done with this gym.

Pros: Place is always pretty clean and parking is not an issue. Nice that they provided free child care.Cons: Their trainers tend to use 3-4 machines at at time with no regard for the other members. The downstairs water fountain has not poured out cold water for the last two years, and I have told management repeatedly. Pool is rented out to an Asian swimming school, not cool, we the membership payers want to use it too! And like all other reviews stated, if a piece of equipment breaks down, expect months for repair.Over all: Nice gym, but owner avoids investing in maintenance and repair as much as possible. Trainers need to respect other members, I know they are making money, but they cannot hog up the equipment.

Dynamic fitness is the best gym chain in Houston

In May of 2020 I was sold a 2-month membership for $70, and told that if I cancel by July 25, I would avoid any other charges. I found I was charged $50 on July 1 when I called to cancel on July 25. I have been in contact with the Ops Manager, Jenna Breuneman, and she acknowledged multiple times that I was misinformed by their sales representative, but continually refused to refund me the $50. Additionally, I was never provided a copy of the agreement that I signed in May.I attempted to escalate the issue by contacting Greg Lawrence, as referred to me by Jenna, only to be ignored and now my email address has been blocked in their system. I will be filing a chargeback to get the $50 back that was taken (STOLEN) from me.Edit: I have received a response from Greg, however I have yet to receive a refund

BEWARE. Garbage place with no compassion for life circumstances and they love sneaking in hidden fees. Even if you have a legitimate reason to terminate your membership per the contract, they will likely just put you on a hold and sneakily start charging you again. They refuse to give refunds when they do this. This has happened to others I know and I wish I had listened before signing up.

I came here for personal training to lose weight a couple of years ago. Its a nice gym with many of the equipment i need. Even though my sessions with my trainer are over he is still a great resource to ask any questions about...

Pretty good gym for the price. The added a relaxation area which is cool. Wish they still had the towels but can’t hate too much on that. Definitely recommend it.

Good gym at reasonable price

Review update - its worse.My husband has back issues and has been told by his doctors not to lift weights, do squats, rowing, or many other normal exercises. They told him to use swimming as his main source of exercise because it takes the pressure and weight off of his back injuries.This is the reason my husband got a membership at Dynamic, because they have a pool. However, the pool is never available. Since he started there a year ago, the pool has been occupied most evenings by swimming lessons, closed for no reason some weekends, or out of order.Ive gone with him to swim a couple times, and the pool was freezing cold. The thermostat is broken often as well as the pump. Right now the pool has been broken for over a month - since before the freeze. They are blaming the freeze for not getting parts in, and keep pushing back the date it will be fixed.In the meantime, we paid in full for a membership that my husband has not been able to utilize. Its beyond frustrating! The staff does keep adding days to the end of his membership to make up for the pool issue, but what good is that if he cant ever use the pool?

The whole staff is amazing! I love the caretakers in the day care! My son has such a good time and i dont have to worry about him while I work out.I love that you get a free training session when you sign up. Keith worked with me today and he was so professional and thorough! I think i will be getting personal training. I feel really great after and look forward to being pushed and getting in shape.If your looking for a great atmosphere this is your gym! The staff is so friendly and personable. Its nice to not be a dollar symbol.

This Houston based gym is small and cozy. The facility is well kept and the staff are amazing. I recommend Dynamic Fitness for their low membership cost and friendliness of its staff. They have a swimming pool, racket ball, and all kinds of weight equipment plus classes. Plenty of parking too. Its my no-nonsense afterwork 5 Star hangout. 👍🏽

Its amazing how much time the employees have to text on their phones, yet cant even make sure we have towels. And then they get an attitude when you ask. Well what do you expect from anyplace that hires the lowest of the low? Stay away from this gym.

At the Sugar Land location, they have great instructions and equipment, but the air conditioning is always so warm. The spin room is tiny and packed, so the temps are unbearable. Group fitness and weight rooms are also very warm and uncomfortable. They seem to always have a/c problems, and its annoying to see non-members sneaking in because the front desk people are either absent or not paying attention. Membership cost is very inexpensive.

Poor management, I have membership and i never shared my kids information to anybody there, some one calls regularly my son who is 11 years old, telling him the caller is from dynamic fitness sugarland, to join fitness. This is nasty and unwanted being he is minor. I called the customer service who did not reveal his name, instead of apologizing, he was ver rude and did not want to reaveal information of call and very angry and rude.This is unacceptable from dynamic fitness

Same as other reviews have a contract with Dynamic Fitness Post Oak, the gym closed and transfer to another location. They want to charge me 150 dollars to cancel my membership, but I found a loop in the contract that says it must be a Dynamic fitness center or owner the new relocation. So I just call the new location and they say the are not own by Dynamic nor their owner. You can call and cancel it by telling them the new gym its not own by Dynamic and try to not get charge.What a horrible experience I am having. By the way they will give you a Email that does not exists and a phone number that does not work.
