The car service was fine and quick, but the twenty something mechanic decided to dispense completely unsolicited medical advice after I paid, telling me that masks dont work during an airborne pandemic because they proved the virus is passed through spores. Apparently the epidemiologist inspecting my car missed the day in med school where the teacher explained that spores are airborne. He went on to inform me that he had COVID (presumably because Mr masks dont work wasnt wearing a mask). Very poor customer service to badger your customers for following medical advice instead of Facebook.

I have been several times, in the last 2 to 2.5 yrs period, at this shop for diverse car issues. These fellows are terrific.Major problems they resolved for at least XX% of the dealer quote.My last visit, less than a month ago, it was to replace a component of my speed shifting system to the transmission... the part alone, I researched. was $500 and installation at least 3 to 4 hrs, hrs..They fixed it, the same day(!), there was no need to replace the component, since it were some missing components, pins, screw, and calibration time they did for much less than others quotes. Definitely, I trust them.
These guys were straight up with me. I appreciate their honesty and how fast they were to look at my car. I went in towards the end of the day but they still looked at it. I would definitely go back if I lived in the area but we were just passing the though.

Very happy with the quality of work here. My cars radio screen, lock senor and OBD port hasnt been working for months. Another auto shop did 2 electrical test charging me $200 total, while still not able to pinpoint the issue. Recommended me to swap out my entire radio.The gentlemen here charged me $20 to swap out a faulty fuse and everything is working properly again. Ill definitely will be bring my business here in the future.

On 2 different occasions my car was given back to me with a new/different issue than what it was brought in for. I went to discuss this and Nick the owner told me if they couldnt fix it they would just have to give me my money back, he said he needed to speak to his brother (the mechanic) to see if they could resolve the repair. After waiting almost a week and not hearing from them I drove there and was greeted as an adversary and not a customer who had paid them lots of money and was dissatisfied with an issue on my vehicle. I was all but told I was a liar and that they had repaired what I had asked. I was not offered anything for the issue, not even reimbursement for the thermostat they took off which I had just put on the vehicle (they didnt even call to inform me they were removing it) nothing for the tools I had to go purchase to complete the job they had already been paid to do. I was treated with disdain and aggression, I was told they would never work on my vehicles again, as if Im the one that did something to them. Horrible customer service and business ethics, dont do business with these guys.
My Acura was making a sound, went to Acura dealership, they wanted to change the belt and charge $1700. Came to Prime 1 Care, as usual, very honest mechanic but rather busy, fixed my belt issues with less than $200. So rare to find honest mechanics, doctors and dentists these days, glad to at least met one.

Efficient and professional. I went there today in an emergency that my wifes car needs the bad battery replaced. Its a Mercedes so its complicated enough for me to DIY.We arrived there, supplied the new battery we bought. No questions and hassles. They just put us in the next job, finish the work and reset the car computer. All was done in just less than one hour. Definitely go there again when my cars need helps!!!
I have an alcohol monitor installed on my car that was due for calibration. These monitors can be installed in any car for any reason. They can be required by work for company vehicles, installed by choice - typically by people in recovery, or required by law as part of probation/parole agreement terms. Regardless of the reason, employees should treat customers all the same. but then theres Brian...I arrived at this location, my first time to request their services for calibrating the equipment in my car. The lobby is closed in response to the Coronavirus, so I wasnt allowed to go inside. An employee is required to remove the device from the car so I was asked to stand around in the parking lot for about 15 minutes while I waited for the handheld unit to be calibrated. For an employee to remove the device, they simply need to reach in the car and manually remove the device, then the employee will ask what the current milage on the car is.The manager, however, got into my car, sat down and started touching every button, the gear shift, the steering wheel and obviously all over the seat. I think, during a pandemic, especially one that forces the lobby to be closed to customers, that employees (especially the manager) should have better sense than to be making so much unnecessary contact in my personal space - its mutual respect. Especially at a point when Covid cases are increasing in the area, it was way too much contact. So when the manager got out of my car, I grabbed a Clorox wipe and pumped a bunch of hand sanitizer on it and went to town cleaning my car real quick so the alcohol could dry and the handheld device wouldnt detect any alcohol.Again, the lobby is closed right now, no services, amenities, trashcans, etc. are provided and this business clearly hasnt done anything to adapt to the current environment. Since there was no trashcan, no dumpster, and no lobby access, I decided to drop the Clorox wipe under my car. A technician named Brian came running out and started yelling at me for littering. I calmly asked where the trashcan was so that I could dispose of the wipes, I had already been looking for one...Instead of coming to a resolution and directing me to a trashcan, Brian instead implied that where he worked was trashcan and that I was being disrespectful to him. I didnt really understand what he meant or why he was so angry. I immediately walked over and picked up the wipes, I had them in my hand and again, I asked Brian where the trashcan was so I could throw them away. We had started walking from my car towards the garage, I thought to find a trashcan, but Brian had already flipped his lid at this point and wanted to go full fist over this. Brian called me disrespectful multiple times, then got within inches of my face to call me a piece of shyt in attempt to intimidate me.At this point the manager/owner caught wind of this and came into the garage. The manager pointed to where the trashcan was, so I went to throw the wipes away then went to head back to my car. Instead of reprimanding Brian for confronting then escalating a customer conflict, the manager instead grabbed my handheld unit, in the middle of calibration servicing, and refused to finish servicing the equipment for my car. The manager put the device back in my car, while I pretended to call the police, then went back into the lobby. I sat in the parking lot, stranded, for about three minutes trying to get the handheld device to turn back on. At this point, I decided to call the cops for real because Im now stranded at a car repair facility with a car that the manager broke [when he ended calibration service in the middle of the process] and an wacko employee that has full support of the manager who, in his defense, I dont think really knew what was going on, he was defending his employee - BUT he kicked me out way before knowing that I was attempting to comply with Brians request and for that, the manager is clearly the ring leader of this circus of ignorance called Prime 1 Car Care.

Worked on the mercedes and the F150. They quoted several prices based on what would it could be once they got inside the engine and it came back the lowest price they quoted. That is honesty which is hard to find in the auto repair business.

In my 20 year of car ownership both in Texas and Massachusetts, they are the honest mechanics Ive ever used. Ive had small and large jobs, and the prices are always reasonable. Recently, on a very tricky electrical issue, they failed to diagnose the issue the first time around. And when I ultimately brought the vehicle back, they made amends and waived the prior fees. I mean, who does that??

Assumed when driving by this would be a Jiffy Lube type of high traffic, poor service shop. Noticed the good reviews here and used it for annual vehicle inspection. Very impressed with the level of organization and attention to detail found here. It is one thing to just keep your car running and up to date, but when you feel the shop is trying to deliver high quality customer service, that latter part is so often lacking. Not here. Never thought I would use the words “compassionate” and “caring” to describe the customer service at an auto mechanic shop, but that’s what the service is like here. They accommodated me quickly for a car inspection, they went the extra mile to make sure my radiator fluid was ok, and they had me in/out in 20min tops. No one ever wants to deal with car trouble, but I know where I will go if I need the service.

My tire sensor light came on, took it to my dealership and they said it’s defective and I have to get a new one installed. Up to now I was very pleased but Prime One jostled the CD player while replacing the alternator and refused to fix. They went so far as to accuse me of lying about the situation! Not the same since it was sold. Will take business elsewhere since they can’t be trusted to fix what they obviously broke.

They were the cheapest I could find for the work I needed and the reviews were good so I went. They never called me to tell me my car was done. They put my parts back together in such a way that the hood was pinching my windshield wiper hoses. Had to hire someone else to fix it.In the end still cheaper than most places including additional labor but they couldve spared a little hassle.
I returned this year again for the inspections on both my vehicles. Each time was in and out in about 20 mins. I refuse to go elsewhere, this place and the people are awesome and friendly.

*** Customer Beware... This Business will charge far more then quoted and then try to life to cover it up!!! Dont make the same mistake i did. Consider a repair shop that will not try to scam you to overcharge and then lie in an attempt to cover their attempt to get more money from you. See my BBB Complaint and their attempt to lie and cover to cover along with more detail from me on how they really are to work with....I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 13244131, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.The response from the repair shop is not truthful except for the fact I did request an oil change however the oil change was not the topic of my complaint. The service shop took the vehicle in to evaluate as there was a check engine light so in addition to my requested oil change i asked them to read the service code generated by the vehicle and let me know what it would take to repair. I took the car in, Two days later on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend I received a call where ONLY AT THIS TIME stated that there was a $75 fee to diagnose. AFTER the diagnostic was done. At that time I was also quoted a price to repair the vehicle of $693.88 for parts and $315 for labor. I was told the repair would take only one day. The mechanic stated that many parts suppliers were closed and he would get additional parts pricing on Monday as the only part price he could find was from the dealer at $693.88. On Monday afternoon, when I had to call to follow up since I did not hear back from the shop I was told the $693.88 was the only price he could find. I approved the $693.88 part price and $315 labor price and was told the vehicle would be ready the following afternoon. I was never told there was a programming fee. The car was not ready on Tuesday as promised. In fact it was not ready, Wednesday or Thursday. Finally on Friday afternoon when I called again to find out status on the vehicle i was told the vehicle had to be taken to the dealer at 10:30 for programming Saturday morning. Even at this time it was NEVER mentioned to me there would be a programming fee. Finally still no word back from the service shop till Tuesday morning letting me know the vehicle was ready.It appears to me the service shop had no idea they would either need to program or did not know how to properly program or they would have never quoted me a 1 day turn around on the repair. What then appears to happen is they spent days trying to figure out then finally had to to take the vehicle to the dealer to fix or finish the repair. Now they are trying to pass on the expense of their mistake to me. I can tell you with 110% assurance that the statement made by them that I was notified of a programming expense is completely untrue. Additionally, the assertion that my grievance about this complaint was to get a discounted repair. I can assure you this is not the case at all. I am a successful local businessman who can certainly pay for whatever I need. This was my first time coming here and I was positive I needed a new power steering pump. So I my mind I was preparing to cough up alot! James explained to me that they will look over my car and will contact me later with an update. As soon as they found out what was wrong James called me and explained everything in detail ( which it was not the whole pump just a small piece, saved me a bunch)I can not rave enough about this place!! Stay away from this place! I took my car in to get info on why my service engine light was coming on and he told me to bring it on over and he would get to it tomorrow. I get called late in the afternoon the next day and am told that I have to take it to the dealership to find out what is wrong with it. So I go to pick my car up and he charges me 70 dollars for the diagnosis which doesnt give me any more info as to there being an actual mechanical problem with the car or if it is just a sensor tripping the engine light. I paid 70 dollars for a piece of paper that told me I need to go to the dealership to see whats wrong with it. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the many reputable businesses that are willing to give a diagnosis free of charge. Drivers Auto Repair, AMCO, NTB, the list goes on and on. I will never go to Prime 1 Car care again.
I would enforce the statement, the owner is very attentive to the clientele, the prices are very reasonable compared to other shops. Plus they work fast, take the time to investigate the problems keep you posted and, again, help you with the price.
We take our school buses here because George is the only on that can work on diesels.
