Went to this car dealership due to location between home and work. Ended up much happier than I expected. Super friendly staff! Despite constantly selling the cars I wanted, I ended up getting something ill be quite happy with for a long time. The process was smooth and they were open and interested in helping me out the whole way. Super clean atmosphere and very low pressure (although that tends to happen when your lot consistently sells out month after month consistently).Adam was my salesman and I thoroughly enjoyed working with him. He kept me updated regularly until we found a car that worked for me.Im hoping the service department will impress me just as much!

I’m not going to lie, we had a few headaches with our Kia mechanically over the past two years. But the customer service at First Team Kia has been their saving grace. No matter how frustrated I’ve been time and time again. They’ve always managed to make the situation better by actually listening to me and addressing the issues. Engineering wise, Kia still has some ways to go but if they can fix that. They’re brand will be stronger than the rest.I might lease a EV from them in the near future….. we’ll see.

My wife purchased a 2021 KIA K5 back in October 2020. Since then the vehicle has been in and out of their service with various issues. It has always been like pulling teeth attempting to contact their service department, who I have never actually had pick up the phone. Issues have primarily stemmed from the electronic safety system on the car but also included a faulty steering column. At this point we are counting the days until the factory warranty is up and things are no longer covered. In this latest incident, some work was being done and we had an alignment and rotation done. A few days later my wife finds what appears to be a tool still attached to the rear suspension on her car. We were lucky that we found it before it caused a serious issue! As a whole this just adds to the seemingly laziness of some of the employees. Only one person we talked to, Taryn (Who was fantastic), seemed knowledgeable about what was going on and ever offered help. Extremely unsatisfactory.

I purchased a 2021 Kia seltos from here last week and it was a good experience! Chase was excellent and answered all the questions that I had. Everyone was so welcoming to when I first walked in the door to when I left. I live all the way in Virginia Beach so they are a tad far from me, but it was all worth it! They don’t bombard you like most dealerships do. They will forever be my go to place when purchasing a vehicle. I will definitely be referring all of my family and friends here.

I have been to quite a few Kia dealerships as I have moved around to different cities, and this was by far the friendliest and most accommodating service I have received. Service charged me $100 for a diagnostic to check the code for my check engine light...didnt tell me the price until AFTER it was performed. I could go to AutoZone and get it done for free...what a rip off

Great service dept! One of the few dealers Ive dealt with that havent tried to convince me to buy stuff I didnt want or need. I started coming here after getting tired of another Kia dealerships BS. Im definitely sticking with First Team.

The Kia K5 that I wanted was at another dealership and they had it sent ASAP. When it was delivered, Maddy, who was helping another client, tag teamed with Ashley to show me all the features and set up my IPhone to the car. A few weeks later, I dropped my car off to get the leather protection done and couldn’t get a ride when it was ready. Ryan, from the service department, sent a courtesy van to my home to be bring me to the dealership. Not only was the leather protection applied but the entire car was detailed inside and out! I am a very satisfied customer.

Came into Kia today only to hear some employees talking about a fellow employee named “Sade” working while having covid and not taking time to quarantine. I was appalled. I have very at risk family members who face potentially life threatening issues if exposed. My family takes great precautions. I was already upset walking in to see hardly anyone wearing masks and that has been the case through the entire pandemic as I have been car shopping for 9 months now but now to hear that first team allows employees to work with a positive covid status allowing them to infect and risk their customers is beyond alarming and I refuse to do business with them and will be contacting the CDC ASAP!!! Just horrible professionals

I brought my car in for an oil change and was notified by Ryan Davidson that I had not done my mileage maintenance as required by manufactures warranty. He was able to add that to my list to be completed all at one time. When I had my oil changed last time nobody even mentioned it to me. Want to send a shout out to Ryan and his staff for a job well done today.

Sales people were great, but had to take the car in for a recall, Service Department in theory have sent a shuttle to pick me up right where they dropped me off, I’ve been sitting outside my work for over an hour with no communication, and can’t get anyone on the phone in the Service Department. Seem to be nice people though, especially the receptionist who’s trying to get through to service for me!

Mrs. Taryn was outstanding with helping me. She was 10/10 with being professional. She definitely deserves a raise or promotion. Im a loyal customer because of her she did a wonderful job.

I brought my car in for a recall and they offered me a free inspection which I accepted. They called me later and said my recall was done, but my marker lamps was out and they could replace them for $200. I declined and said I would do it myself. I bought the bulbs for $6 and replaced them in 10 minutes. I had to wait a few weeks for another day off and brought the car back for a reinspect. This time they said my headlights weren’t bright enough and they could replace the assembly for $500+. I told them to reject the car and I would never be back at that dealership.

Dont shop anywhere else! These guys were great from the beginning to end with customer service! Starting with AJ the sales manager, he is amazing at what he does and he keeps you in good spirits all throughout, Rheana was my sales agent and actually drove all the way from Suffolk to Norfolk to pick me up and bring me to their dealership because my 18 Forte was having issues. Now thats service! She was very knowledgeable and friendly, and extremely helpful. I also love the fact they have a female finance manager, Jessica, who is super fun and made the car buying experience a breeze. They are not your typical pushy dealership, they go at your pace, which I really appreciate. Overall, I will definitely refer them to everyone I know, my mom is even thinking of buying her next car from them now after seeing how great they took care of me!

I purchased a plug-in hybrid Niro from Rheana. There aren’t many cars of that type around here, but she was able to help me learn much about the car. She was very patient since I needed to try out the car twice before making my decision. AJ the manager was also very helpful and I never felt pressured to make a snap decision which I very much appreciated. I enjoy my car and I will be able to charge my car from home soon to avoid getting killed at the gas pump.

The service team is the worst. I have had issues after issue with my vehicle . Kia never knows what or how to service my vehicle because its a hyundai. Going through loop after loop just to have my vehicle assessed is an inconvenience. Making an appointment is pointless as they will hold your vehicle for consective hours and then once you call before the service department closes you will either get no answer or informed you will have a response regarding your vehicle the next day . The extended warranty is a joke . I can not wait to quickly pay off my vehicle to purchase something with no issues. Mind you my vehicle had an engine before I could make my first payment . Pros friendly sales manager I stand firm on raheed Mason being a nice sales man but they could”ve kept the hyundai sante fe that was sold to me . I will not be editing or removing this post as I did the last time I was asked .

Staff was very organized and got the vehicle that I wanted in the price range I was looking for and had me in and out in no time at all. Another sales associate Chase went above and beyond to test drive vehicles with me and give me video walkthroughs of all their vehicles. The people you will work with here are trustworthy and do not pressure you like smaller dealerships do; they truly want to help you as they would a friend or family member. They back their cars with life time oil changes, VA inspections, and if its under 50k miles even include lifetime power train warranties - this was a key indicator of trust for me.
