Shy was great. She also showed me a way to lay down on my back without neck and head pain. I have not been able to do that for years. Im so grateful to her and feel lucky that I took a chance on Massage Envy. When I first started I was concerned with the call but the level of comfort and positive effect on my health as well outweigh the cost.

I have been consistently receiving massages at this location for the past few months. John is my go to therapist for every massage. He focuses on the areas that I need the most and I leave without pain every time. I have noticed a decrease in my pain and tension between massages. I’ve also seen a decrease in my chronic migraines since Ive started seeing John! I intentionally request him for every massage because I know he will provide me with the best massage possible. There is never a single doubt in my mind. There are so many incredible things that I can say and absolutely recommend him to everyone. The staff at this location are not only professional but they are always friendly. If I ever have any scheduling issues they are always happy to help and never make me feel like an inconvenience. Thank you everyone for all that you have done and continue to do!!!

Great experience. Tranquility Room is pretty mellow. I love the deep tissue massage. Highly recommend! A little pushy with the you need a 90-minute massage sales pitch, but Im pretty sure management makes them do that and hey, it makes sense from a business perspective.

Went to make appointment after getting Vaccinated. Found out my 8 remaining credits from my paid in full account had expired. with no policy to extend past the 2 months grace period I thought for sure I was out sever hundred bucks. Especially after reading other reviews with similar issues. The staff was very professional and nice with every interaction. To my elated surprise they extended my credits an additional 2 months allowing me to use them. I know others have had other outcomes but I cannot comment to those experiences. The Massages I have had in the past have been very good depending on the therapist (one was a bit too light pressure) and the staff at Harbor View has been nothing but courteous and professional every time. Thank you.

Kay gives absolutely wonderful massages! Communication is terrible! I told the staff 3 different times I wanted to cancel my membership and I was told the manager has to do that and theres not a manager available. Finally, I filled out the paperwork and canceled my membership and the manager said she would call me because she was helping another customer. She called and left a message. When I called her back...not the same day the girl said my membership was not canceled and the manager would call me.

Im used to European massages where they care more about working out the tight spots then if they keep my sheet covering every inch of my body that they are not touching. they are very professional and should know that its only professional and I want a great massage. they kept asking if I was okay and interrupting my relaxing mood, I had to ask for more pressure because they never asked in the beginning what I prefer and I dont know about some people, but butts are muscles too that need masseuse attention and they barely did anything im assuming in fear of making someone uncomfortable, I said no area(besides the obvious off-limits areas as stated in their beginning survey) was off limits!

I have always been a loyal customer of Massage Envy. They have several places all over the country and have visited several while on travel for work. But my experience at this Suffolk location has been the best. Michelle was my massage therapist and she was pleasant and fun to talk to. She made the visit enjoyable and provided medium pressure, just what I needed. This location is highly recommended!

Never again! I sent a loved one to get a Deep Tissue Massage at Massage Envy located in Harborview. We were told to arrive early. We arrived early, just for the masaage to start 23 minutes LATER! Had we arrived 23 minutes late, they would have been ready to take 23 minutes from the massage. So, I called and requested to speak with the manager regarding my concern. I was reassured the massage wouldnt be cut short and that because of COVID, the massage therapist was taking a little longer cleaning. Well if you know it takes the therapist longer to clean, space out the appointments. Now back to the massage, guess what...it was cut short by 5 minutes. That might not be much to someone else but I paid for an hour massage, which is really 50 minutes long. I expected for my loved one to get a 50 minutes massage. Lastly, my loved one told me the first thing the young lady told my loved one when she began the massage was that she doesnt do deep tissue massages and she talked during the ENTIRE massage! Who in the hell does that??!! A massage is for relaxation!!! I was told it was one of the worst massages ever as the young lady didnt even stay in one area to workout any kinks or tight muscles. Im embarrassed that I even recommended this place. I wish like hell I knew all of this before we pulled out of the parking lot because I would have went in there and talked face to face with the manager. I may contact my bank to reject the payment if the manager doesnt say something to make this right. What a waste of money and time today. Schedule your appointment at your own risk.

This is the 4th time we’ve waited in the parking lot top to be told they have to cancel. Appt time is 10am and we were noticed at 10:01am of the cancelled appt. we drove from vb to this location and this is ridiculous!

I’ve been to Massage Envy 3 times. And 2 out of those 3 times I made my way there and was told at check-in that my massage therapist wouldn’t be coming in and that I need to reschedule. They didn’t even call me before I drove there. I’m 35 weeks pregnant with a 15 month old at home and I work full time, so finding a time that works isn’t as simple as it once was. Can’t recommend Massage Envy and won’t be going back.

My go to spot. I treated my 16 year old daughter to a mommy-daughter session because of a stressful situation and it was exactly what WE needed. So... Tabitha is strong as hell😁 and Amber is funny, very light hearted. They will be my go-to from this point forward. Love this place!!

I just had the worst experience with Alisa and Candace at your location. I was yelled at and hung up on because they were frustrated with my questions. I have requested to speak with management and even asked for the number to the corporate office I was not allowed either. I was belittled and spoken to very harshly while listening to Alisa laugh at me while asking my question and stating through laughter that she is not answering anything else. I received a return all from Candace and explained to her that I have a wedding party of 14 that would like to purchase massages for as a gift but I wanted to try it out first. She then tells me that the pricing online will change tomorrow and that I will have to pay tomorrows price today. In my displeasure and inquiry as to why tomorrows pricing is effective today, she (Candace) in turns says to her coworkers I am about to hang up this phone. I am not talking to her anymore. She (candace) tells me that Alisa is frustrated will all of the customers questions about pricing. The call is ended and I receive another call from MAssage Envy and they hang up (now they are playing on my phone). I called back to inform whoever answered the phone which was Alisa to no call my phone again and I was hung up on. This is the worst customer service ever. I will not nor will I recommend this establishment to ANYONE. They need to start this day over and try it again with a fresh attitude. I anticipate the manager will never call me back and nothing will ever be done. But as for me This place will NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AND I WILL BE SURE TO SHARE THIS ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA SITES AS WELL

My son goes to college 4 hours away and had an appointment scheduled for a weekend that he would be home. Unfortunately, due to an emergency, that appointment had to be cancelled. Tasha went out of her way to find someone that would come in and complete the appt so that my son could get it done on the weekend that he was in town. Excellent customer service, thank you very much Tasha for going above and beyond! This location is where you want to be!

Past two visits have been started late due to computer problems one month and my Therapist the next month. I book times for a reason. I had an appointment for Tuesday but I just cant bring it to go. I cant sit in that room for over 20 mins. I arrive 10 early. Never gets started till at least quarter of the hour. They promised no more but it rattled me so much I would rather stop massages all together. Its too stressful rather than relaxful.

I made an appointment for my birthday actually the day before then that evening a storm hit knocked power out that night through the morning of my birthday so I call to reschedule but was told I’m charged 50% for canceling the day of which I couldn’t help and would be charged full price my next visit. I understand money has to be made but I also can’t stop gods work.

My husband got me a gift certificate which they told him would be good for 2 massages. It was not since they did not tell him they expected a $23 tip each time. My shoulder hurt after the massage and the staff is really snotty. Massage chair at Planet Fitness does a better job and costs way less.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. They flat out LIE about the terms of your contract and will tell you anything to get you to sign up for a membership. They lied not once, but twice. I asked three times if my contract was able to be cancelled at any time. They said yes. That is not true. Now Im stuck paying for services Ill never use. DO NOT TRUST THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I will be contacting the BBB in regards to this matter. BUYER BEWARE. I should have read some of the reviews before ever stepping foot in the door.

I 100% prefer this Massage Envy over the one in Newport News and Hampton. The staff is so much nicer to work with and does not rush you when making an appointment. They really take the time to fit you with a therapist that meets your needs.

The product and services are great but they are difficult to work with if you need to cancel

They called the day of my appointment, 3 hours before my appointment to be exact to cancel. If the customer doesnt call within 24 hrs to cancel they get penalized but if their staff does it all they do is call and say We can offer you another opening for tomorrow Im pissed cancelled other plans to get a 💆.

Called to cancel my membership just before I left on deployment. They refused to cancel me without a cancellation form. Im sorry, but Im not taking time away from my family on my last day at home to come fill out your unnnecessary form. Forcing someone to come to your office when they want to cancel is a gimic. This could easily be done online or over the phone. Its a good thing I left my wife with a power of attorney. Will not be renewing my membership when I return.

I finally got an appointment with them. Arrived early, but the appointment was in California. Lol! Im not sure how this happened but make sure if you request the appointment online and they call you, ask them where they are. I put in all my correct information on the website. Ruined my morning because I had made an appointment for my friend as well. Embarrassing.......

1.They never pick up the phone.2. Not sure if low on staff or just sick staff, but this location is best at canceling last minute. I traveled 1.30 hrs once a month to get a service and i would be advice it was canceled on my way there 3 times in a row.3. Just very rude, incompetent staff. They never get the info right.4. I cancelled for the top 3 reasons and i had 4 hrs left since they kept cancelling but never stoped charging. I used 2, and was not allowed to use my other 2 hrs with a value of 120usd because i waited too long!!!. Called about it and got the worse experience from the manager!!! Hate this location so much! Went to another massage envy and they said i dont know why they just didnt unexpire your hours, its so easy to doI still want my hours to use them somewhere else.

Do not enter into a contract with this company.....you will regret it......even loyal customers!

My husband asked to set up an appointment for me for a Friday, they didn’t write my name down right, they put it for Thursday, and even wrote the number down wrong. They wouldn’t give my husband back his money. They said just call us and we will schedule another appointment. They were rude and disrespectful do not use these people.

Moved away (3+ hours) called to cancel and was told I had to come in. Explained that I moved and asked if I could fax or email and told no I have to come in. Hung up stretching my head. So I called on April 1 and was to be billed April 5th, canceled credit card and received several calls that they couldnt run the credit card. Some how they were able to run the card I canceled with bank on 29 April. So now I have a credit so I make an appt with a Massage Envy 3 hours away for May 6th. I go in and Im told that Harbor View wants a credit card. I explained to the manager at the distant Massage Envy what is happening and that I want to cancel after I use the credit. She immediately called Harbourview and she to was perplexed as to why they wouldnt let me cancel back on April 1st if Im 3 hours away. Upset I told her I didnt want a massage because I wasnt gonna pay anymore money and I was not giving Harbor View a credit card #. She was empathic and offered to allow me to get a massage without charging me more money. Long story short I received an awesome massage and great customer service. Now back to Harbourview, I was a member for about 2 years so I was not under contract. I faithfully paid my bill every month and their cancellation process is horrible. I mean not allowing someone to cancel via fax or email is trouble. I wanted to cancel because I moved and didnt want to stay with Massage Envy because I found a place and person I liked better its that simple. After my experience at the distant location I will probably go back after I figure out where things land with Harborview.

I have been a member for a few years now and love it, however, I have recently had several problems with some of the locations. I booked a couples massage at this location one afternoon. After waiting 30 mins in the relaxation room into our appointment, I went back up to the front to tell them neither of our massage therapists came to get us. We were simply forgotten. The manager offered my boyfriend, who had never been there before, and I a free 45 min massage if we stayed. I told her no because we pay to have an hour massage and it was already 30 mins into our appointment and there would be no way we could get a 45 min massage since there was another appointment after us. They did not offer anything else. I was extremely disappointed in the massage therapists and how everything was handled, especially since no one made sure everyone was taken back on time.
