I ultimately decided to go with his suggestion and swap out my plastic check valve that was potentially compromised for an all metal design. Alex was of great assistance to us. He picked up the phone right away when we called. And picked up right away when we had questions about dismantling our damaged pump. We brought in the pump and 2 other pumps from storage. The two from storage he tested right in front of us and they worked fine - no B.S. story like some other mechanics might give you. This place is amazing. I needed a new motor for my pool. I took pictures of my old motor and went to the store. I was able to get a new motor at a great price. On top of that he went through the installation process with me, plus made sure I had all the right gaskets. Old motor came off and new one went on without a problem. Pool pump went bad over the weekend with guests ready to arrive. I saw that Myles Electric Pump & Motors had 210 Google reviews and a 5 star rating, so I decided to stop in. Alex provided the best customer service that Ive ever had in my 59 year life. I hadnt disassembled my pump completely, so he pulled the diffuser and impeller off, checked out my pump, told me exactly what parts I needed and why. He then put the new motor on his work bench, hooked it up and ran it for me so he could show me some fine points of the operation. He explained the whole reassembly process to me (Im a mechanic, but there were a couple of nuances with a pool pump). Alex seems to really love his job and helping people out. Alex is the best, the company I worked for before retiring uses Myles for years, and so when the motor to my lawn sprinkling system stopped working I first contacted the sprinkler co who told me they had to replace the motor and pump. It was less the two years old, I than west to Myles and asked about rebuilding the Motor. Alex explained to me how I could remove the motor and bring it in for service. In the process I discovered that one wire from the electric was disconnected and when connected worked fine. Thanks to Alexs encouragement and instructions I saved over $800.00, They are honest and helpful

Id give this place 6 stars if it was possible. My water pump was leaking through the center mechanical seal. I went and purchased the the parts and I got an hours worth of knowledge on exactly how to do the job from Alex. What a genuinely nice guy. Most people nowadays just wanna make a fast buck, I fixed my pump for $40, you just dont see people doing business like this anymore.

I found a problem with my AC unit. The compressor fan was running backwards. I had annual service inspection done on it 3 months ago. No one has touch the unit since. I thought the capacitor could be bad or worse the tech that serviced it wired it backwards. The service company wanted a lot of money to come back and look at it. I took the capacitor to Myles and Alex check it and said it was good. He was very helpful and with his knowledge and my pictures he said it was wired backwards. I changed the wires and now it it working. He saved me a lot of money. A very satisfied customer.

I can’t say enough about Alex at Myles electric. We own several rental properties and have used Myles over the years for our personal and business needs. Myles Electric has the best customer service around and the most awesome employee, Alex A. My pool pump motor burns out at 11:15 today, Saturday. I call Myles and Alex is super helpful. Of course they close at noon and I show up with my burnt motor and pump at 12:05. Alex waited on me to show up and proceeds to give me a course in pump maintenance including replacing my mechanical seal. Alex has the best temperament and knows everything about customer service.
