I went to St. Lucie Customs to get a walmart stereo and pioneer speakers installed on my Crown Vic because the stock speakers stopped working. Menon was very quick and he worked on my car immediately at an affordable price. Now I have a working stereo, but I decided to keep my stock head unit, since it sounds better than the Walmart radio. Nobody beats Pioneer speakers, those sound good! I didnt even need an amp. Menon is a hard working person and he knows pretty much everything about cars, body, mechanical, electrical, wheels, ac, etc. Support local businesses like St. LUCIE CUSTOMS!
Absolutely the worst shop I have ever been to. If you are thinking about coming here, do yourself a favor and don’t. The owner/ operator is the most unprofessional man I have ever spoken too in my life. No one there knows what they are doing. I went there to have 4 tires mounted on my after market wheels. The kid in the shop turns the rim upside down on the machine to take the tire off and the clamp for the rim put scratches all over my rim. They denied it was there tire machine and they proceeded to do another one. This rim ended up scratched the exact same way. I spoke with the owner on the phone about getting my wheels painted, and I requested they painted all 4 since the two they scratched were gonna need painting and I didn’t want two different color wheels. He immediately becomes enraged acting like he was doing me a favor, but besides the point I decided he wasn’t worth the argument and settled with only painting two. I left my truck at his shop over night because I was told he was gonna bring my rims to the paint shop that night so they would be done that morning. The next morning I drove by and my truck didn’t move at all drove past again at 3:00 and it still didn’t move so I called the owner and asked how it was going. He said the wheels were at the shop drying after I had just drove by and saw my truck hadn’t been touched. He began making things up left and right saying the painters mom died and when I asked for the painters number he gave me a fake phone number. I asked if his painter was licensed and insured and he said no so I requested that I take my truck to a paint shop and they covered the cost. He started to laugh, then proceed to yell and shout like a temperamental little kid and call my rims trash and my truck a POS. To sum it up they scratched my rims and refused to pay for worst experience I have ever had with a shop. Don’t let them say “that was the old owners” because I guarantee you that no one at that shop knows anything about what they are doing.
Hands down one of the best places I’ve been too! respectful owner, amazing time, in and out with no problems and best prices I’ve seen around town. Highly recommend to anyone with car issues or wanting customization!
Loved going here. From now on all my cars needs will go through them. St Lucie customs broke down the whole process for my suspension, they were able to get my parts ordered and put on within 3 days, and this is for BCRacing coilovers that I was waiting 2 1/2 weeks for at another shop. They were fair on the price and so excited for my Dodge Dart who definitely gave them a challenge. I was able to ask any questions and they had every honest answer. I felt like I was a part of their team throughout the whole process. They were quick, knowledgeable, thorough, and made sure I left excited about my car. Thank you guys for boosting me up about my baby, I can’t wait to keep getting more work done. 👍🏻
Stay far away from these guys. They do not know what they are doing and you will end up with issues. I stopped by this shop on a Friday mourning around 9am. I asked the owner about how much would mounting four tires and alignment would be. From the get go he looked confused and he thought I needed him to find new tires. I already had the tires in back of the car. He says sure pull up the car and then starts taking my tires out the car and begins the work. I ask again how much, 25 a piece for mounting and balance. I thought that was a bit to much for 15 steel rims and everyday tires. I politely declined and said I cant do that and loaded my tires back in the car on the alignment rack. As Im pulling off he says Good luck finding a better price. That is the going rate and let me know who does better, As I say ok and back out he says well how much money do you have?. We agree on 15 each tire with 69.99 alignment.. I said as long as camber is involved I can do 130 for all..He gives the old line as long as it is adjustable But if you dont end up doing the alignment I will charge 25 a piece.4 mount, balance and 4 wheel alignment. This is all labor cost.He slowly begins working on my tires while being distracted at anything around him and we finally get on to the alignment 3 hours later. I notice the right rear tire has a sticky weight for balancing the rim. (have pictures).Sticky weights are typical used for aftermarket wheels. Steel rims have hammer on weights. Sticky of course are prone to fall off the rim but I was hoping they just cleaned the rims right and continued on with align. He tells me he cant do rear alignment because there is no camber bolt. Then some guy who walks in after greeting the owner. Says I need to replace my rear trailer arms because the bolt will not move. The owner agrees and moves on to a toe-and-go alignment. This man sticks around talking his ear up and showing how he aligns cars while the owner tells him I already did that.Im finally on my way around 1-2pm in the afternoon. But thats before I wait for him inside the waiting areas and he ask for the money. I asked for a receipt and he replys the printer does not work. I asked well how about a alignment print out. He says I do have that. He explained to come back for a paper receipt of the work done, I asked when that would be. He called the port st lucie shop and the people over there then say they can TXT me one. It was nothing but a what app recept for 130. I questioned if I could come back with the cam bolts installed to finish alignment he said ok and I was on my way.Not for long as I relies they did not give me my spare donut tire. Drive back and see my spare right by the alignment rack and I put it back in my car. Next day I noticed they did not put 2 valve stem caps on and they ended up using OLD USED hammer on weights hidden behind the hub caps.. They looked like the ones I already had on but just moved around. The Left rear tire was counter balanced. This is when they either forgot to take off a weight or just sent it with two weights opposing each other. I go back two days later Today around 3pm and ask for that left rear tire to be balanced right. He didnt want to fix the problem and said it balanced out right. I told him that is not how you balance a tire. Giving me used hammer on weights + no valve stems caps. + sticky weights on steel wheels is one thing. But I want my left rear tire balanced correctly.I ask when can this be done. He said he was busy.....Busy with one car in the back of the shop with another guy working there. No body inside the waiting room but later on he finally said pull it up to the bay.. They again put wrong weights the wheel I got balanced from them had another problem. They used a certain hammer on weight used for aluminum wheels. They dont fit on steel wheels as you can see. The hub cap is barely keeping it on. Now i have used. Sticky weights. And another wheel weight ready to fall off. For anyone thinking they fix there mistakes.. They just keep going.
