Okayish experience here. Some things are good some things are not. If you wanna go cheap best place in Stillwater for you then.They only do the bare minimum repairs required. If you wanna have your car up and going at the highest level, this may not be the best place for you.

Excellent service. Very nice behavior. Reasonable price. Houston is a nice guy. I’ve been using their service since my time at OSU, for about 3 years. Very reliable service. Whereas Firestone or Stillwater auto gave me a $1500 estimation . Houston fixed that within $300. I couldn’t find any better service in Stillwater than them.

Cowboy cars has been my choice for the last 5 years and ronnie has been a great mechanic..

Brought a Mazda here that had some issues, they quoted me 1200$ for the transmission & shrugged their shoulders after it broke down .5 a mile from their shop. Fast forward a few monthsNow I drive a Mercury sable, which has ignition issues/pulley issues, so I take it back to where I bought it; only to find out later that they use this same shop.. which proceeded to pull my air conditioning compressor without replacing it. Guess it wasnt a big deal since my fiance wasnt 9 months pregnant back then but its a few hundred dollars I cant afford right now. Horrible shop, avoid at all costs. 0/10

If you want people who know what they are doing there is on one shop to call and its Cowboy Cars. So many shops these days just start changing parts until the problem is fixed, but not Cowboy Cars! They are experts at diagnosing your problem and thus saving you money. They are courteous and patient about explaining your problem and the options you should consider! I have used Cowboy Cars since 2005 with great results every single time. Thank you Ronnie and Houston for such great service!!!

Great Service, Ronnie and Huston very nice and hones people, i would say they are my best mechanic experience I’ve ever head, they earned my business, i wont go some place else in Stilwater, they are just great!

This is a repair shop that I can whole heartedly recommend. They are honest, timely, and have a work ethic not found in other Stillwater automotive repair shops. Ron, the owner, gives fast estimates and keeps the shop labor rate low compared to other shops. Houston and Brooks, the on-site mechanics, maybe young but they are knowledgeable, gifted mechanics that go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy, understand the diagnostic of the problem, and are will to explain what the repair process will be and how long it will take. It doesnt get better than here! Local people who are honest, dependable, and dont gouge out of towers (or anyone else) for money. Highly recommend!
