I had spent countless dollars at other mechanics for the same rough idle/no power issue before I heard of shorts. Got it in to them and they were able to pin point the issue, fix it before within a couple days, and charge me less than half of what other mechanics had charged to not fix anything. Im driving a 97 chevrolet that runs like new thanks to Donny. 10/10 will only go to Shorts for any future repairs.

I only recently moved to stillwater and long behold my jeep threw a code and acted funny. Being a woman I absolutely hate going to automotive shops for reasons Im sure I dont have to explain.This place is the only shop Ive had a great experience with and quite frankly it was the lowest shop bill Ive ever had. I had a wheel bearing go out and he was able to read the code, get parts, and have it done in one day. He was very informative about what was going on, professional opinion, and very nice to deal with. He kept the bad wheel bearing for me to look at, and graciously answered all of my questions.

I have been taking my vehicles here for years and they do high quality work at fair prices. Another major reason I go here is because of integrity and honesty. I know unnecessary work will not be performed and I’m paying only for what I need.

Mechanics do an excellent job if repairing vehicles and explaining issues

It takes a while to get in because hes so busy, but I wont take my vehicle anywhere else. Hes honest, fair and knows what hes doing.

My wifes check engine light came on so I scanned it and checked the code and found it was a $20 part but since I work 80 hours a week I told her just to take it to a mechanic since it would be several days before I would have time to fix it and estimated with time and labor it would only be a $100 or so being that the part was so cheap. She brought it to Shorts and 2 weeks and $800 later the car still isnt fixed. I drove by there and saw the car wasnt even in the shop. After she called and complained the car was magically fixed that afternoon. Even after all that time and money he still had the guts to act like he did us a favor by doing it for that price.

This kid right here can do some truck fixin. I could find out why my battery was running dead and this kid had it tracked down in under a hour and had it fix. I will be going back.
