I found the 2 employees in the Sterling Verizon store to be the most pleasant and courteous sales persons I have encountered in quite some time. Luke, although a relatively new employee, was patient with ALL my questions and if he didnt know the answer... asked David... who did.David, has so much patience and treats people with respect they deserve, no matter their age. He takes WHATEVER time is needed with each customer. Waiting to be helped by these 2 was a very rewarding experience because I was able to observe some awesome customer assistance.Very well done David and Luke. I went in for an upgrade and Hannah was extremely helpful and professional throughout the process, she found the deal that made the most sense for me.

I wanted to go on the unlimited data plan so I stopped in my Verizon in Sterling,Illinois. Luckily for me I made contact with Justin. He was very helpful and patient. Over the past couple of months I’ve went into this location and there always only one employee. She’s not the friendliest and every time I go there she’s sitting down hiding behind her computer oh and every time I go in she’s got black yoga pants on 🤷🏼‍♀️ Strange dress code! I went in Saturday to do an upgrade and yet again one employee. She had a store full of people so the wait was long but she at least acknowledged me and every one else that came in after me and was very pleasant to talk too. She did have a hooded sweatshirt on but it was at least a Verizon one. The wait ended up being too long so I ended up going to the Corporate store which was so so service.

Had a great experience with josh today. Super helpful friendly to talk too. This will be my go to wireless store from now on!

I worked with all 4 employees (Hannah, Josh, Luke and David) they were all helpful and knowledgeable. They addressed every customer when they came in the store.

Hannah helped us out right before closing time. She was fantastic and helped us through many issues on an iOS update. Hopefully Verizon takes note of amazing reps like Hannah!

We switch our service provider to Verizon. When we walked into the Sterling office, unfortunately Hannah K was the lucky one that waited on us. She was very patient with us. We switch over 6 devices and added a line and she did a marvelous job as we had problem after problem.

The store was extremely busy and only one person working, her name is Amanda. She was so helpful getting me switched over from xfinity. She spent several hours helping me get my account number and pin all while helping other customers as they came in the store. She was friendly and helpful to everybody that came in the store not just me. I drove to this store because the customer service at the Dixon location is horrible if they cant sell you anything. This store is top notch!

The girl technician was well versed. She Had a lot of people waiting. In this regard, she was very patient and helpful. I believe Verizon should have more technicians available during the day and week. It takes a lot of time to even deal with one customer, let alone five to eight. She did a great job.

My mother in law and I went in to get new phones and came into a few issues along the way. Justin was there to help and it was the easiest experience that we’ve ever had!! He was very helpful and nice to talk to. I 10/10 recommended that you go to this store if you have any issues!

Great Service, no High Pressure Sales. I walked in, stated what I was looking for and got shown a couple models. Answered all questions and had me in and out in a quick manner.

We had a very nice guy Jose H he was very knowledgeable from the get go ! I was extremely impressed and also kept our bill the way I wanted it even know verizon is trying to get me to increase my data and such, he gets it that we have limited income help us get the best phone for our situation Thank you Jose !

Service was great and easy to set up a new phone. I was unaware you now have to pay for them to set up/transfer everything on your old phone to your new one. However, it was nice that my new phone is now already set up like my old one and I didn’t have to do anything besides login to all my apps. There was only one person working which is understandable for the times but it was very busy. She was not explaining phone plans the best either, she almost made it more confusing.

All the girls there are always so helpful and kind.

I had needed some help with information on cell phone plans and some clarification on my bill, and Blake helped me out a LOT. Not only did he help me with a plan change, but he also went over the bill with me to explain how everything worked. Completely recommend going to him for your needs! Overall, great service & a great store.

I used to go to the Verizon in Dixon, but the techs there are not the friendliness and the last time I went I was ignored. This prompted me to come to the Sterling location where I had the best experience yet. I was assisted by Eddie and he was very helpful. He did what he could to help you save money on your bill. He was also very friendly and patient even though he was very busy that night. If you live in the Sauk Valley area, I suggest going to this store and asking for Eddie.

I will never go back to this store. I waited 20 minutes for a young female employee to finish up with a customer. She finished up and then completely ignored me. She was more interested in reminiscing about high school with a friend of hers that was just hanging out in the store. I ended up walking out

I highly recommend going to this location and asking for Amanda. The store was extremely busy and she still went above and beyond with everyone she was interacting with. I hope the Verizon service is as awesome as the service I received from her was. I appreciate her offering all the services Verizon offers with out being so pushy. 👍

Needed a new phone with as few do-dads as possible. I was not pressured to buy more. The employee, Edward, was pleasant and very patient. He moved all of my data to the new phoneThe weather was crummy today so there were not many customers in the shop, so he was free to take all the time we needed.

This store is horrible. I have only had one person be kind to me there and I wont name her so that it wont cause her problems because I believe that low of them. I walked into their store looking for employment and was treated with the highest level of disrespect by their manager. Then my wife and I went there putting my experience behind us to give them our business. Not only did the woman that helped us argue with her us, she also spoke down to me about the device that we were bringing in as well as allowing me to walk out the door over a Sim fee. Letting a new line walk out the door over ten dollars is not acceptable in business. Not providing the customer with the plan information they are asking for is also not acceptable. Treating the customer like they are idiots because they know the amount of data they want is also unacceptable. It took me five minutes to walk out the door and go to Dixon. I spent ten minutes at the CORPORATE store and was treated like I was a valued customer. Do not provide business to this store. They are rude, do not value you as a customer, and are undeserving of your business. Should be zero stars but Google wont let me rank that low. TCC where Im from treats you with respect, however this store does not embody the values I have know this indirect to hold.

Friendly, but not competent enough. Stopped by to have an iPhone 6s enabled, but after waiting patiently for the two other customers and for the sales rep to figure out the company software (for a total wait of 25-30 minutes), she informed me that they did not have the correct sim cards in stock but would be receiving them in a few days. I will be in another state in two days, so I went to the Dixon location and they had everything working within 20 minutes.
