Very good, fast and reliable service. Have never had one problem. Way better then the other internet options out here.
Dont fall for it, supposedly some of the fastest wireless internet around. Really wish I would have looked into other options. High wind or rain knocks the internet out more than what is normally acceptable. Wish we would have done more research, PC Telcom has fiber optic in Fleming, will be switching soon.
I live maybe 5 minutes from town and we are over paying for speed we dont even get and the ping is terrible I do not recommend unless you can get fiber optic
Really poor service, nasty techs, pay for internet speed but actually get less than half. Canceled the television part because they cant keep the channels working.
Terrible service both with internet and customer service. We called twice in one day, the first person was saying how we have to reset it, and that didn’t work. Then we called again and was told the guy did an “upgrade”, which is ridiculous upgrades aren’t done until a customer calls to complain again and again, and shockingly it still didn’t work. We called again the next day and were told they don’t supply any equipment and again, customer service had no idea what they were talking about. Overpriced internet service that doesn’t even work well over half the time.
Awesome company. Fast internet.
Customer service sucks and it doesnt work more then it does actually work!
I live outside of Sterling and the options in terms of Internet are limited.I chose to go with KCI as they have some of the fastest advertised speeds available. The internet service is wireless and you shouldnt expect it to be trouble free, however here is a list of issues I have had with KCI that will cause me to choose an alternate provider once one is available.1. Installation was scheduled and I took time off of work only to receive a phone call that morning that the technician had an emergency and wouldnt be able to perform the install. I had to insist that they attempt to find someone else to install the hardware as I had already scheduled the day off and was expecting this to be completed. They sent two young gentlemen out to the house who seemed to have very little experience in setting up this hardware. After much time fiddling with the hardware and software it was apparently installed correctly.2. I, through troubleshooting my own network, determined that the hardware they provide utilizes its own firewall. I called on a Saturday morning and left a message for a tech to call me back. (They arent open on the weekend and a tech will only call you back in the morning. If you dont reach them by then you can expect to be without internet until Monday.) The tech called me back and I explained that I wanted them to bridge their device so that I could control the firewall settings and internet traffic on my own network. The tech said it was no problem and performed the bridge only to have the device drop off of the network completely. He then informed me that he couldnt do anything else and I would have to call on Monday. I called on Monday and they continued to work on it remotely until it was eventually fixed on Tuesday.3. I again lost internet connection on Friday afternoon so when I returned home from work to discover the issue the office was already closed. I called Saturday morning to attempt to talk to a tech and no call was ever returned. I was without internet the entire weekend. I then called Monday morning the lady said she would have a technician call me back. I received a call within the hour only to have the technician tell me to power cycle the router and power supply to the access point. I informed him I had already done that and he then advised me to ensure the POE Ethernet cable was full seated... I have some networking experience and am not a typical end user. His instructions were to check that when I arrived home tonight and if it still didnt work that I need to call in tomorrow and schedule a visit to the house so a tech could fix it. So another day without internet, another day off of work, and another very disappointing exchange with this Local Company. Its really no wonder that companies like this are put out of business by big organizations that come in and provide services because its not hard to provide a better service than this...Side note: Im paying 90 dollars per month for, 10M up and down, to have a reliable way to access my work remotely and be able to work from home. This does NOT perform as it should. This will be the last time that I use KCI regardless of location or type of internet provided and I will certainly be letting people I know exactly how this company operates.Edit 2017. We moved into Sterling and luckily had access to fiber optic. Thank God. The stability is so much better. And I get 40 both ways for 38 dollars... If the service goes down on a weekend your still out of luck. Rate 4 stars if you can get fiber optic.
Constant connection issues and disappointing customer service.
Great to work with!
