Horrible service. Internet is slow and goes out all the time. Try to call them and their phones are disconnected. And this is from a medical facility perspective. Stay away! Try somewhere else!!!
I am the President of ACTS, a local nonprofit, and while we were unable to open our physical office due to Covid 19, we still wanted to provide critical financial assistance to Bulloch County residents. That is where Chris Robinson and Todd von Waldner of Bulloch Solutions came to the rescue. They provided us with an app that allowed us to receive office calls on our cell phones. We were also able to make phone calls from within the app which protected our personal cell phone numbers from being displayed on clients phones. Chris and Todd helped us set up the app and were always available to help when we needed to make changes. Not only were we happy with the app, but the customer service provided by Todd and Chris was outstanding. I cannot thank them enough for both their technical assistance and prompt, friendly service. They provided us with a solution to continue to assist those in need while keeping at-risk volunteers safe.

For a state that loves to nickel and dime its people I didnt have high hopes HOWEVER this company is great my internet is fast with only 1 issue in over a year .... I was fully expecting them to charge me tons and make me wait until a weekday to fix my service! But they came out on a Saturday and the young man was fast and professional and they didnt charge me a dime!!! Thank you!!!
Horrible service! No WiFi connection all the time, they come out at least once a month to fix the issue which never seems to fix the issue! 100$ a month and no connection half the time! Seriously get your act together there’s no reason to have this many problems with service! Worst service I have ever had and Iv had xfinity! All my equipment has been replaced more times than I can remember 10 months of trash service!

My problem is not with their service. It is with their availability. If you work or are otherwise unavailable from 8 to 5 you are out of luck when it comes to adding channels or changing services. No evening or weekend hours except for technical support. No sales or business office support.
Everyone who assisted me at Bulloch Telephone was prompt, professional, and very pleasant. The technician who ultimately solved my Internet connection problem, Buddy Wise, was especially personable-and he got the job done fast! Great experience all around.

Absolutely great service! I have no complaints on my internet. I currently have the lowest speed package and we use the internet a pretty good bit streaming videos (sometimes multiple) and never have any interruptions. It doesnt even have to buffer. I cant imagine how fast the best package would be! I highly recommend them. Another plus is their great customer service and online account management. I have been a customer for 10+ years.

We have had service from Bulloch Telephone for almost 22 years and have been very pleased with our them . We recently made an upgrade to our cable and it really is a good upgrade . I had bulloch telephone for years. I was always frustrated because it would take forever for them to get back with you if you have a issue and they never been the most friendly of people. We moved recently and I called to have my service changed over and was told that someone would be in touch to set up a appointment. I waited 24 hours no call so I called back and the woman was rude said it dosent happen over night. Ok tired of the rudeness so I started researching other companies. Found northland and that they were cheaper and to me the service looked better. So I let it wait 2 more days still no call from bulloch. So I put in a order for northland to be installed 2 hours later they called to set up a appointment. I am done with bulloch telephone

After two years with Bulloch we have about had it. The last three months we have not been receiving our bills. The lady in billing said it was not their fault. Last month she said they would reverse the late charges. I thought that was very nice (she even said she knows my postman). I paid my bill less the late fee, and now I have a late charge she did not reverse. I call her back and now she says I cant reverse all of them. You have to pay for a phone every month whether you use it or not. Our neighbors are fed up too. They are about as bad as our current cable company. Stay away...

Quick response, knowledgeable tech. Even though there were no area wide outtages they looked for issues with our internet personally ( not like Comcast who will tell me to my face the internet is working when its not) and had a fix. Also told me about the fix so I knew to adjust my system settings accordingly

I have to agree with most of the post here, the employees seem like they just dont care, and it shows. They tell you one thing and do another. I feel like I am bothering them when I call. The technicians are great, the office staff not so much. Maybe if they hate their jobs so much or hate helping people I know plenty of other folks that would be thankful to have a job.
I have had their cable and internet for less than a month but I can tell you already this is the worse cable I have ever had. It cost over $200 a month but the internet speeds fluctuate so much it is unbelievable and that is just the start of it. My cable at least daily tell me the signal is not strong enough to broadcast. Now I’m trying to watch shows that I recorded to their”cloud” but it will not play. They do not offer true dvr boxes.Only positive thing I can say is that the people working there are very nice and friendly.

I’ve been with BTc for 4 years now and when I have an issue they are quick to send a tech out. I can’t remrber the tech’s name but he is so sweet and always fixes my issue and explains what the issue was at hand.
Blows every other ISP here out of the water. Internet is very reliable and you get what you pay for all the time. Also very responsive. Had internet issues (my fault not theirs) on Saturday and they already had a guy out here to fix it Sunday afternoon.

Fantastic service for both internet and TV with no issues on either. The one gig option is incredibly fast and does not lag or signifincatly slow down when we have all of our devices connected. Have had for alittle over a month after upgrading from Dish and Frontier.

These people must think they are the only gig in town. They are rude on the phone and useless in the office. No one person knows much about anything and has to get someone else to finish anything. Once we were set up we realized much of what they told wasnt (Free Install, Connection Speeds etc). After they installed the TV service only 1 of 3 of my TVs have a viewable signal, they rest are almost completely static and are literally unusable. Internet comes and goes, mostly goes. Called them more than few times over 1.5 month period and they said Technical support would come or call or both. Nothing has ever been done. I work and dont have time to call them a million times a day. I never in a million years thought I would miss Comcast. I can not say enough about how much I dislike Bulloch County Telephone Co. It is a mystery to me how they stay in business. I mainly use my cell phone for internet when I really need to do anything and we are switching to satellite for TV. Looking at the 1 positive review it is clear it must be some employee or some something similar.

1. My bill was somehow $200 when it should be $80. 2. I called to see if I could work out something the morning my payment was due (monday) because my truck was repoed on Friday. They said I needed to call before then to work something out. Well lady I didnt know I needed to work anything out until Friday at 430. By the time I got a ride home. You were closed. I do not like that under certian circumstances they wont shut off your service without having their net box which runs you a big bill then despite you dont get any service from them! Through a legal loophole it is legal to do this. I couldnt get the box in my situation thanks to domestic violence issues via an ex which the box was in his place. They didnt care. So now I got a huge bill that will take months to pay off! They also are too expensive. However, they have good staff and great working service to even rual areas.
Ive usually had good experiences with Bulloch Telephone, but I recently went about a month without work and got behind on some bills, my wifi being one. As soon as I got some money back to pay on my account (a Friday evening), they couldnt re-open the account because the business offices were closed. This means I have to go without wifi on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - the weekend before final exams. As a broke college student, Im sure you could imagine the stress associated with this.I spoke on the phone with numerous customer service representatives from the technical support line, the only people you can contact over the weekend, but none could help because they do only troubleshooting issues. I spent about 90 minutes on the phone trying to figure this out, so it was a very slow, stressful period of not knowing whether I could study for my finals or not - time that could have obviously been spent more productively; studying for finals, perhaps. If youre a broke college kid, dont rely on them for reliable internet service that can fix your problems 24/7. If your bill is paid past due on the weekend, dont expect internet until the next business day. If you always pay the bill on time, I will say, its good then.
I have phone, internet and now cable with them. I have a house full of kids with xbox, tablets and phones and the internet keeps up with them all. Every time I speak to office staff or installers they are very heloful and courteous. I just had the cable installed today. Hopefully it will be better than dish and direct tv. My bill always went up with them...
I just tried to call tech support for a simple question. The guy on that answered, I think he said his name was Ariel, had the sound of annoyance in his voice when he answered and the entire time I tried to talk to him until I just hung up because he got rude when I asked my question. I pay $200/month for internet and tv (dont use the phone Im forced to pay for) and have problems with my internet all the time and theres nothing special about the cable... you just plug the wire into the wall... and I pay that ridiculous amount. It sucks that I have to deal with the bs because no one else services my area.
Ive lived in many different places and never had internet cost so much for service that rarely ever works, very slow speeds if and when you can connect, customer service is terrible, have yet to speak to anyone that can fix any of the terrible service problems. Best advice Ive gotten from any employee was, turn it off, wait 10 minutes and turn it back on. Will definitely be dropping this crappy excuse for internet as soon as anything else is available. Dial up internet was faster and more reliable
Pros: The speed is fast and the prices are low for what youll recieve in return. The service is better than anything from frontier or northland.Cons: They dont have a working telephone number so any issues have to be dealt with in person which is inconvenient if you have classes or a day job. You have to pay for a phone line to receive internet service even if you have no use for it. Theyre pretty trigger happy when it comes to disconnecting your service.
We recently changed over to Bulloch Telephone and have not had the first issue!!! They has fast friendly service that you cant find with another provider in Statesboro!!!

Bad service over priced. Internet go out alot takes them 2 to 3 days just to fix it plus the internet runs slow supposed to be 100 looks like I only get 15 .Comcasth better on price and service just wish we could get Comcast out here instead of bulloch net
I have called repeatedly and no one ever answers the phone. My bill continually goes up and I hate the fact that we are made to get a landline phone to get internet service. It is a rip off. Frontline sucks and I am thinking about going back to Northland soon. Very frustrated with the situation.

My bill just went up 25 dollars a month without any notification or warning....they make u pay for a landline telephone in order to get internet service, and I dont even have the phone but my bill has just gone up 25 dollars...!!!! Never even heard of such a rediculous increase in my life.
Bulloch is telephone is AWFUL as far as customer service is concerned !!I called on 9/04/2014 to have my cable upgraded.The lady I spoke with told me that if it was not connected the same day, which probably wouldnt due to the time of the order, 3 p.m., then it would definitely be on today 9/5/2014. I also asked if the service men would have to come to my home and she said no, this could be taken care of in the service dept right there in their office. Well as of 4 p.m. I havent received my upgrade. I called the office, got transferred to the service/repair dept. and the young man told me they have no record of my work order. I then spoke with a lady in the front office & she told me that yes they do have to come to my home & there is no way it could be handled today.The employes are rude & obviously incompetent !!! I will be changing my phone, internet & cable very soon !!!!Tara Harrod

I was lied to at the desk when I opened the account. I was told I could have only internet at X price. My first bill was twice as much and included a phone line. I called to request the phone line to be cancelled and was told I cannot have internet with out the phone. Now I was stuck with a monthly bill twice as high as I was told it would be.I got behind on a bill, approx 5 days, never lost service. I was billed $25 disconnection fee on the internet and another $25 for the phone, even though the phone is not optional with the internet.Since I was stuck with this phone I guess I should use it. Oh, you want to call 2 miles down the road into Bryan County, thats long distance and cost extra.Then I lose service after I caught up on my bill. The told us that the problem was our router. My phone had no dial tone and was plugged directly into the wall. A call back two days later and they found it was on their side and fixed it quick.Bottom line, they lied to me and charged me for services they said I did not have to have. They run a racket if you get behind by various charges. They are quick to bill you but refuse to compensate you for services not rendered when they are at fault.
