Great fries! Hot, crispy battered fries.We ordered the Bomber, Philly Beef, and a hamburger kids meal. The Bomber patty was cooked really well, thick, hot, and juicy. The Bomber meal was filling and could even be shared. Wed totally order it again.The Philly and kids meal were less impressive. The Philly lacked on ratio (too much bread, hardly any cheese), but the beef was cooked well. The burger in the kids meal was dry and the bun was too heavy for the size of the patty... but there were a TON of fries in the kids meal, so it was still a pretty good deal. Despite that, wed still go back, but just stick with burgers.Things to know:The restaurant is located inside the gas station convenience store. You order at the checkout counter.The price of burgers included friesTheres a small seating area located by the entrance doorPlan on waiting a few minutes for your meal. We had probably 6 people ahead of us and waited about 15 minutes.

Why is this not your favorite gas station? The dew is the best around. Fresh and tons of candy options here. Also try the grill. Get the student Special. A decent burger and the fries are amazing. I will definitely be making this a top stop whenever I am in the area

Nobody believes me when I tell them that we need to go to the gas station for lunch. But Jakes is one of the best places in town to get food. Their fries are crisped to perfection. Highly recommend.

Worst place ever if you want you food correct! Had to go back in 4 DIFFERENT times to get my food right. I get one of the easiest things you can order, cheese burger with ketchup and mayo only!! The cheese wasnt even melted at all when they did get the order right finally and the condiments were just slapped on there all over the side. On top of all of that the burger was cold!

The fries, tater tots, chips, SO good! The burgers are on the better end of average (In and Out or Wendys comparable). The sandwiches are a step up often (Malibu chicken, SO juicy!)

I love coming here!! Whether your just stopping to fuel up or grab a drink. They have a fountain drink special, a great little cafe, and an awesome super friendly staff! They also have some of the best fries around!

I heard a lot about this place and was eager to check it out. Im a little disappointed. The burger was good, and by far the best part, although not so good you cant get it elsewhere. But good, regardless. The fries were very bland and had no salt on them from what I could tell. The ranch... Was terrible. Honestly it had no flavor and hardly could tell what it was. Fry sauce was great though.This place has an endless selection (not even kidding) of drinks, and thats why we keep coming back. Jakes is a great location, and convenient, and a nice place to swing by.

Jakes Brookside is the best gas station in town. Amazing service, the best drinks around, foods amazing.. there’s so much more. All of the staff are amazing, I could sit there for hours just talking to them. 10/10 recommend checking them out!!

10/10 employees are amazing and always happy and make sure your laughing or smiling when you leave. Always have stocked up drinks and treats and the grill is amazing. I stop by there more than once a day and they always are on top of things.

Service for food is so very slow. It will take 20 minutes two shakes when not one other person is in the store. Last time my shake was pretty minimal on flavor. We decided to try them again. My mint Oreo shake had a puddle of green mint flavoring on the bottom of the Oreo shake. Never going back. Go to the Chevron down the street. Those are good shakes!

The customer service along with the new owner was excellent. the food, especially the shakes, are an amazing reason to stop. the employees are all attentive and eager to help any and all customers. i will definitely be returning here.

Use to be our favorite burger place but since the new owners, this place has gone downhill. The fries aren’t the same & their burgers they completely changed them into something cheap & gross. We won’t be coming back

I personally love this gas station/ restaurant. the workers are amazing and so nice everytime I come in. very grateful for the environment, and so grateful for there $1 drinks there. we love the store it always has all the yummy treats a want. and it’s right by my high school so I can always come and get my daily red bull’s and be to school in time. Burrito was like a salad. So it was kind of lame. the guy at the front register with glasses was not very personable and not easy to communicate. The chicken strips and fries were super good and only reason for the 3 stars.

No gloves were worn while sloping through my food. never again. especially right now with covid.

Ordered our food at 4:03pm. We finally got it at 4:40. It wasnt very busy, and took forever! The food is okay, but not worth the long wait. Several people came in who knew someone in the kitchen and got their food before us. Nice setup if you know someone that works there, but if youre a regular paying customer like us, except half decent food with an almost hour wait.

Fries are fantastic. Always get quick service when we go in. New owner is friendly and the place seems a little cleaner and friendlier, though it was cool before, too. Did I mention the fries are great?

I don’t want to over compliment them as it’s just pretty basic but it’s a cool little place. I’m not originally from Utah and I went with a Co-worker who said I had to try it as it’s a local staple in Springville. I had a great time! The food was pretty good, the prices were decent and the staff is friendly. It has the nice small town everybody knows everybody type of feel. Give it a try if you are in the area and just want something quick to eat

If you are looking for FAST food this is not the place. It takes awhile. However, the French fries are really good here especially with the fry sauce. But you’ll have to wait awhile to get it. Customer service is hit and miss. The new owners seem friendly and have raised the bar as far as service because every time in the past the service here has been terrible. Menu suggestion would be: cheeseburger and fries (get extra sauce!) and a dole whip!

Good place other than DO NOT buy a fountain drink here. It will be flat. Guaranteed. They need to fix their soda machine but dont seem to care. Its been this way for several months.

If I could give less than one star, I would. The new owner of Jakes is always CLEARLY irritated with customers, is rude to his staff IN FRONT OF customers, and acts like youre stupid whenever you talk to him. He also will leave you sitting at the register half rung up to do something else because he cant bother with you.I also know FOR A FACT that he fired one of his employees without notice. Out of nowhere said employee stopped appearing on the schedule, and now when this person texts the owner, he wont respond to her texts. FIRING WITHOUT NOTICE IS ILLEGAL. I will NEVER go back to Jakes. I cannot support a company that disregards customers, and especially not one that breaks the law when it comes to their employees. No matter how good their fries are, how cheap their drinks are, or how good anything else is, I just cannot do it, and neither should you.

Grill fare and dole whips are pretty great. The Malibu chicken sandwich is our personal favorite. Ive never had an issue with customer service, but its understandable why others have. Totally worth a try, its good stuff.

Went through the drive through to get a double cheese burger which I’m looking at the menu is $4.39. I get to the window and they say you’re total is $6 (and some change I don’t remember). They wouldn’t honor the price that they have ADVERTISED and I was trapped in the drive through so I bought it anyway. I thing more shady then false advertising especially during Covid.

This is a great place to stop saw it on the gps and loved it. They have everything youd want to snack on and also they make fresh off the grill food.

Passive aggressive broad taking her sweet time giving me my change because I interrupted her conversation to ask for fuel then proceeds to break down my change as much as possible and throws it on the counter instead of handing it to me. This is your place if you want catty, old women wasting your time.

Awesome food and things for a gas station. The employee attitude is always absolutely horrible, rude, always argumentative for literally no reason. For years I was a once a day shopper for drinks and what not. Now I drive elsewhere. Every once in a while I stop in for convince quickly to realize the stuck up arrogant attitudes given to you literally if you dont speak a single word arent worth it.

This was my first time here buying a burger with my mom and this will also be my last. The boy that worked at the drive through was unfriendly. We only ordered a single burger and he made us wait and park on the side which I am normally cool with. But it literally took them 15 minutes and all the cars behind us have been served their food. Another kid yelled at us saying our burger is ready and it has been for awhile. Oh thanks would’ve been nice to know that a while back. We thought someone was going to bring it out to us? Bad customer service but the burger does make up for the experience. Next time I’ll just drive to Barry’s.

Bad consumer service. Bad attitude wanted my propane filled teen said he doesnt know and they were busy. Stripped some of the fitting out and when I said this will need to be payed for if indeed it is stripped. His reply was not by me. So needless to say no more business from me

This place was just a block from my house in Springville.I walk here often to get a quick meal or snack.

Give 5 stars for food and drinks. However not so great customer service during the mornings and day. Some of the people this place attracts not so great either. I have gone in at times waiting in line and there would be staff just standing behind the counter and not helping customers. Also they dont seem to have a strict dress code here and it can be unflattering.

Terrible service!! Called for a pick up order of a cheeseburger kid on the phone responds 10 minutes for my order. I show up in 15 minutes to figure out they havent even started and to top it off the girl grilling didnt have any other orders just simply terrible service.
