I got a dip manicure and spa pedicure there about a week ago. I normally have a good experience here, but not this last time. I spent $90 on my experience. My dip manicure started cracking 2 days later. I was so disappointed as I spent a lot of money on top of a nice tip. I went back to have that nail fixed by a different technician, which was nice and I appreciated. Then later that night, more of my manicure started cracking. It’s absolutely ridiculous. At this point, my nails have barely lasted one full week. For as much as I spent, this should have been done properly and more thoroughly. I don’t know if the person who did my nails was new or rushing to get done since it was later in the day. I’m really upset. I should not need to be getting my nails redone after a week. I don’t think I’ll be going back.

She takes her nail designs seriously and she made sure that she gave me the right design for the special occasion I had coming up. Such a great place. I tend to just get a pedicure and my eyebrows done with Yee. She is so friendly, down to earth and funny. Everything is clean, everyone is welcoming and I have never had a bad experience.

My tech was amazing. The salon is professional and extremely clean. All the staff wear uniforms. My only negative feedback is I went on my birthday and on checkout I asked receptionist if they had birthday specials. She said no but when I was handed my receipt it said signup for email and birthday promotions. Didnt notice until way after I left facility.

I had a great experience here! I am somewhat new to the area and typically go to Springfield Nails on Baltimore Pike, but they are closed on Tuesdays so I had to try somewhere new! I would recommend making an appointment because they’re definitely busy. However, they were able to squeeze me in as a walk-in. I worked with Yee who did such an amazing job. She put so much time and effort into both the manicure and the pedicure. I have never had a pedicure like that. She’s incredible and the whole staff is so sweet! 100% recommend them! I will be back :)

I read through all of the reviews, the good, middle and bad reviews, and I wanted to leave a positive review b/c Bamboo Spa is not like any other spa. I have never committed to one place for more than 6months bc along the way I felt like things changed that turned me off. Ive been going to Bamboo for almost +2 yrs. I would highly suggest meeting w/ a different stylist several times before settling with one as this may make your experience more meaningful.I was originally invited by a friend to try this place on a last minute nudge and I arrived with no appointment. The wait was well worth it. I had tried numerous stylists over my years of being a client. I would not like to go anywhere else b/c of the level of organization and professionalism. Having an appointment makes my experience more meaningful b/c this allows me to structure my day around my appointment, and we all know what frustrations can grow if you spend more than 10mins waiting (for anything). If I had to rank why I continue to remain a loyal customer, I would easily say making appointments for anyone or anything will remain a top 3! Also, another zinger is management or your staff will call you they hadnt seen you in a while or if there are last minute adjustments need to be made. This is an amazing feature of an establishment b/c they actively show they care about their customers.I can see how some people may have had a negative experience w/ staff BUT this is a high volume salon and not everyone will be 100% chipper, chances are we are catching that various spots of their day when professional pressures feel different. But I will reassure you that everyone who works there are genuinely nice and well intentioned. Each stylist from my opinion offers exceptional service.As of now, I am working with Yee or I should say Yee works with me. She is super talented and she is an amazing artist. She and I chatted briefly about how some clients prefer to be with one stylist while other clients will see everyone. I am currently booked through the rest of the year w/ her; she and I work well together. Plus, she has been truly understanding that my schedule can be brutal at the last minute but she helps me figure it out. Yee has been honest and professional, and her opinions have not been misleading when it comes to what she knows will look best for me. She remembered my name from a time we briefly worked together at another salon from several years back. I guess it was meant to be.I have also worked with Jennifer and La, both stylist have gone above and beyond their call of duty and I would recommend them to anyone who asks about Bamboo and their services. Jennifer and La are very sweet and up front w/ you about what theyre going to do and price point. Their work also is above basic expectations, they generally care about their craft. I would feel comfortable working with the stylist mentioned and working w/ others b/c my experiences has been really amazing up until now.I say you need to give it time w/ your stylist, allow them to get to know you and vise versa, this is why there are so many positive reviews. Ive seen a small number of stylists leave while many have stayed, this speaks volumes for management and upholding an ethical code of conduct. The salon is clean, smells great, your addressed by your first name, ambiance is calming, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming.

After moving here from the Lehigh Valley a few months ago Ive been trying to find a nail salon that fit my needs... cleanliness, technique, shaping and especially a place thats punctual. Walking in they took my temperature A+... it is by appointment only which I like because you wont feel rushed or have to wait long periods of time. Everyone was dressed in uniform which was also a nice touch and the place was very clean and organized. I have been looking for a while and having gone to a place that was terrible Im so glad I found this! Im never looking back. Jenn V was amazing.

I’ve been going here for years. Love the service the environment is welcoming and they make sure you like the work they do. They are also really good with giving you suggestions. Sometimes I go in and don’t know what color I want and they always pick the perfect color for me. My nails always turn out great!

I’m very picky about my nails and salons.... I stumbled on to this place while getting my hair done and needing a last minute gel pedicure. My hair stylist recommended this place and I absolutely loved it!! Super relaxing, very clean, great ventilation, and I loved my nail tech. I came back a second time to get SNS done on my hands and my initial nail tech was busy but she connected me with another who was equally amazing. I can’t say enough good things about the bamboo spa! I highly recommend Simone and Jenny!!!

Loved it! Very accommodating and professional! Technicians were kind and friendly. Only con is during my massage and facial I could hear a bunch of people talking ... it did not make my Zen experience bad, it was just noticeable.

My wife and I went there for a perdicure. She had an outstanding person who took a lot of interest and time to take care of her. Unfortunately, for me, it was not the same experience. I had the impression that the person doing my pedicure was on a break and maybe asked to do my pedicure. She was definitely unhappy from start. She was unfriendly, rude, not gentle and rushed through the whole process. I started 15 minutes after my wife and finished 15 minutes earlier before she even had her toe nails painted. I was totally rushed through and she did a shabby job at it. I had never had a pedicure before, but Id never go back to the person that did my pedicure. There person who did my wifes was amazingly professional and really nice. In addition we were both charged the same, which makes no sense, since it took half the time to do mine and I did not have my toes painted.

First time and pleased! I asked for a new shape and Leanne nailed it. 😊 I walked in and we waited about 30 minutes. Appointments recommended for the weekend. Ria was also sweet to my grandmother, which I valued. All in all really good first experience.

I had an amazing visit today. I booked a facial and had an hour long appt with Christine. My face looks amazing, it was so relaxing, and she was awesome. I even got a massage which I didnt expect. It was so nice that I got a spa pedicure, and got Christine again! She is awesome! Will definitely be scheduling another appt with her soon.

The salon was clean and the staff was friendly. However, I went for a last minute Brazilian wax and do not like how they do body waxing. They are significantly behind in the game in that they still use stripes and they do not use seasonal wax to compliment skin. I felt that the was took longer than it should have because I was waxed in very small sections. Lastly, I was overcharged for the wax; I have been professionally waxed every 4 weeks for years and I did not have a lot of hair and was charged an extra $10 and I don’t know why. I still have hairs in essential places and the wax was painful. I do not recommend a Brazilian wax here. They may be better at their other services. Again nice salon and nice staff which is why I gave it 2 stars.

I previously reviewed this place with 5 stars, and now Im taking all of them back.Dont come here unless youre willing to pay more than the expected. I used to LOVE this place because their gel manicure is well done and lasts a couple of days until I tried the waxing and got REALLY hurt, the girl damaged my skill to a point where I came home bleeding and she overcharged me at the cashier because it was more work for her. I only saw how bad it was when i got home and couldnt even sit (because my private parts were hurt) It was a big charge difference because the regular price is 35 and I paid $90. Im only writing this here because I emailed the place and I never got a response. - With all this said, today i decided to return for my nails *because Im never going back there for wax again and if you dont want to be hurt, dont go!*I get there for my nails and I get overcharged again, if you read other comments you will see that they do this all the time, they charge you a different price at the cashier - without telling you beforehand. Anyways, the girl insisted on adding glitter to my nail and then charged more for it at the end. again without telling.I think the biggest problem is that they dont tell you when something is extra, you never know if the water will be on your bill at the end. Im never going back and Im sad because I like the nail job but Im not gonna be treated like a fool. Run away if you dont wanna go through the same!And to the business owner: train your staff to tell people when they are going to be charged extra for something, not everyone is prepared!!!

First time there. My new place. Kelly did my eyelashes and they look fantastic. She took her time, made sure she knew exactly what I wanted. Excellent! Lillian, forgive spelling, did a beautiful job on my nails. Staff friendly, owners so nice. I will continue to recommend.

A friend recommended this place to me and I am so glad that I tried it out. I went with my mom and we had a great time. Jenny did my gel manicure and she did a wonderful job. My mom had a basic manicure by Jean and she could not have been happier. I am definitely coming back. This place was very clean and the staff was incredibly friendly.

Nice nail salon in Springfield. Ive been searching for a new salon and Im glad I found this spa. I got an organic spa pedicure with lemongrass oil and a regular manicure. Both were great and cost $52 altogether. I had a relaxing experience and my nail specialist was friendly. My hands and feet feel brand new! I plan to go again. Omg....the spa pedicure was amazing. I must have raved about it so much that my son gave me a gift card for Mothers Day! I came in later in the day without an appointment. The host squeezed me in and I was glad she did. The nail tech was really nice and did an excellent job on my pedicure. I couldnt believe the price I paid for the service. I am excited to go back.

My experiences at the Bamboo Spa have been top notch! After the death of my son earlier this year I have frequented the spa regularly to care for myself as I grieve. The spa itself is decorated in a way that relaxes you right from the start. The staff there have been wonderful! They truly care about both my emotional and physical self. The massages have left me refreshed and able to keep functioning. My manicures and pedicures have been the best I have had as well. They seem to last far longer than any previous places where I have received services. Please come check them out!

Yee is one of a kind, it is a privilege to have her work on you! She does the best lash extensions in the area, It is unbelievable how many compliments I get on them all of the time. She also does my manicures and pedicures and her talent is amazing. She knows my style, what I like and is always patient and eager to help me make my final decision on what to get. The quality of her work is unparalleled. She is friendly, professional and funny and I always look forward to seeing her. I have tried almost every nail salon in the Springfield area and I have to say Bamboo is the best. Ivy is the technician that I always request. She does the best pedicure and manicure and always has great ideas for designs. I usually doze off when she is doing my pedicure it is so relaxing. I suggest you make an appointment.

Update: Thank you for your follow and I would kindly to advise you to recheck your cameras. Your 4pm appointment arrived at 4:30pm with another customer both requesting the same nail tech. Therefore my 4:30 pm scheduled appointment was pushed back to 6:15 pm. As a business, if a customer has a scheduled appointment the business should not show Bias towards another customer. The business should notify the customer they are 30 minutes late for their appointment and offer another nail tech, then provide the service to your 4:30pm appointment that was on time. Excellent Customer Service should be a major part of any business.Walked in and request specific nail tech and was told you have to schedule and appointment even though walking are accepted. Two weeks later called and schedule and appointment with specific tech. I arrived 45 mins early to get a pedicure as a walking before my 4:30pm appointment. The was no one available and there was a long wait. I was notified by the tech that I requested that the appointment was scheduled by him but he did not notice the request. I told that there was a 4pm customer they just starting them and I would have to wait or get the pedicure while he waits on another customer. So another hour later the tech started my nails. This was a horrible experience with complete miscommunication from beginning to end.

Amazing Work....My permenate salon unless I move away from Philly

I really liked this nail salon/spa... For the most part, it seemed some what clean and technicians are very nice (reason for giving at least three stars). Many nail salons do not practice proper sanitation, especially with waxing as Ive seen in other salons double dip with the stick when eye brow waxing... I havent witness Bamboo do this. However, I am now reluctant to visit Bamboo nail salon again as I just learned the power dip is as unsanitary as the tools that are used (if not cleaned after each customer). Ive been getting powder dip for sometime at Bamboo and the technician typically dip my finger in the powder, when theyre actually suppose to pour it on. Also, I am never asked to wash my hands so multiple unclean fingers are dipped into the same powder. Thats disgusting. I thought something was off, so I did my research. Bamboo, I suggest you instruct your technicians to pour the powder dip on instead of dipping the finger in the powder. I think I am done with nail salons until I find one that thoroughly practices good hygiene.

What a fabulous place! This was my first visit, but it wont be my last. They accommodated me as a walk in for lash extensions, a gel manicure, and a pedicure; its also possible to make appointments. I was pampered and treated very well the entire time and by each member of their staff. The staff was unequivocally friendly, efficient, personable, and skilled. The prices are fair and there is a wide range of services available; it feels like a tranquil oasis off busy Baltimore Pike. Kelly, the aesthetician who gave me lash extensions, was knowledgeable and helpful as she explained my options and her recommendations; this was my first time with lash extensions, but after Kellys expert attention, Ill keep them filled or get them again for special occasions. I highly recommend The Bamboo Spa in Springfield PA.

I liked the massage that Melissa did, but signature facial was horrible!!! I did not see any change on my face even blackheads she did not take them off. The room is dirty, towels smell really bad 😱. Please change them or at least wash them coz they seem old and are used for every single person. I felt unsatisfied. It’s been the first and the last time in this spa

The pedi was all that. Jean was the tech and he gave a great massage on my legs and feet. The hot towels after he was finished set it off nicely. I will be back to see him.

Fantastic!! The gel nails are great and I was a walk in with my sister and they were very busy but we were seated in less that 30 minutes. The staff was great and the place was so clean and fabulous. I will definitely be back!

I asked the lady for powder but instead she put nail polish on my nails she also didn’t clip my nails shorter before she put the extension on them, the polish is chipping off, they look like absolute garbage. I called today and the lady who answered the phone said that she couldn’t do anything about it!!!!! I’m so annoyed like if I wanted to do nail polish I could do that at home!!! I highly don’t recommend this place 😡😡

I have been going to Bamboo since the day it opened and I would never go anywhere else. The staff is so friendly, accommodating, nice, and they are so CLEAN ! I always feel so relaxed after leaving and i get so many compliments on my nails. LOVE IT HERE !

I’ve been going to bamboo spa for about a year now and everyone here is so helpful and friendly! Linny does an excellent job on my nails every time! The entire staff if very friendly and accommodating, they even opened early once to work around my busy schedule! I bring my 6 year old granddaughter in to get her nails done and they spoil her and treat her just like a princess! I have had many sub par experiences at other salons and Bamboo Spa stands above the rest! I recommend them to all my friends! Be sure to make an appointment because they are always busy! I also love the convience of being able to book my appointment online!

I used the Bamboo Spa on various occasions and have never been let down by their professionalism and superb customer service. Even when I had an issue or problem the workers are willing to work with me to ensure that I could be happy. I will bring my business here in the future.

I have had the hardest time finding a nail salon I like when I moved to this area. Bamboo was one of the first ones I tried and after being disappointed everywhere else that was closer to my home I decided to come back here. I dont have a specific tech I prefer but so far I have been satisfied with the service each time.

And I knew from the moment when you walked in with that miserable look on your face that you were going to be somebody that wasnt happy either way. You sat there with daggers in your eyes towards me (innocent) and the staff which was very unnecessary considering this place is the nicest place that Ive ever been to and always accommodates you. They tried their best to make you happy which was never going to happen because you are a miserable human being.i even told my tech to have the other girl finish so you could be seen sooner. I walked out of there knowing you were going to give them trouble because i heard you giving them a hard time. Nothing or noone is perfect and they did not deserve that review.

I find if you go after 2PM on Saturday it is less crowded and better for walk-ins. Service is good and priced are reasonable

I have been going to this salon for 2+years and I always spent $80-$100, and on top of that I drive 1hr and a half to get here. Today I decided to bring my husband and the lack of professionalism was disgusting. The manger was just RUDE I will not do business with an establishments that forget quality customer service is KEY.

Mediocre service, store owner discriminated against me because I asked to have my lashes done while my 4 year old son was asleep in his reclining stroller/cot. Drove 30 minutes to get there and had informed them on the phone that my son would be with me.I find it very sad that being a mom of a special needs child I am not entitled to equal rights as people without a kid.The store owner, from China, came here to the USA and an equal opportunity was offered to him as if he was born American. Unfortunately he does not go by these laws in his shop. More close to communist China.Avoid this place.
