Dr.Flue was very punctual even early! By the time I got there he was finished with his inspection! I plan to use him to clean my chimney soon!

I used Dr Flue on recommendations from other Reatlors for a personal flip project. A month and a half later, my chimney leaks all over the place and as best I can tell, all they did was slap their magnet on my metal insert to advertise. I told him exactly what I wanted done, he gave me an estimate, and what I asked for wasnt done.

I was recommended to use Dr Flue by my brother-in-law. I have never used a wood-burning chimney before, and they came in and inspected the chimney and also cleaned it! They did such an amazing job!!! John the owner and his work partner know exactly what they are doing. And on top of that they were both so very polite. I had a lot of questions being I was the first time wood burner, and they were able to answer every single question with great detail and in ways that I could understand exactly what they were talking about!I will definitely use them again and highly recommend Dr. Flue for any Chimney problems or cleanings!

Im a Realtor and good quality service and prompt timing is key. I always tell my clients when buying a home the home inspectors do not inspect wood fireplaces so if they actually plan on using their wood fireplace in the future to get an actual professional out there and Dr flue are great. Dr Flue and his team came out to my house for a routine cleaning and inspection of the chimney and they did a FABULOUS job! They are very professional, clean, and thorough! They didnt try to charge us for extras or sell us anything we didnt need. They gave us some great tips to help us take care of our fireplace and make sure we didnt damage it over time by using it incorrectly. EXCELLENT service!!! I would 100% recommend them!!

Great service, he did the inspections on our current home and the house we are moving into. We also had him fix some cracked mortar outside our house and it looks great!

This is not a honest way of doing business. I am glad that he could not find the time to come do the inspection and cleaning since I would not have ever been told that I needed to do more work and spend more money to bring my home up to code and safety standards3 years ago Dr. flue came out and gave me an estimate to replace the liner to my wood stove and rebuild my chimney. I thought at the time it was a good job and a fair price. the following year I could not get him to come out and inspect and clean my chimney, I got dates set up but then when it was time for him to show up i got a call with an excuse. Several time that season I got that same thing and finally he told me he did not have time to come do my inspection and cleaning. So of course I then had to try to find someone late in the season to come inspect and clean the chimney. That is when I found out that the the work did not meet safety standards or code. I have since then had to put out a considerable amount of money to get it brought up to code. I was given a flyer about the products that were supposedly used to reline my chimney and that is not the product that was actually used. A cheap imitation was what was used. The flyer states that it has a lifetime warranty for the product but since the flyer is for very different products, that means my lifetime guarantee is obsolete. .

Our chimney cap blew off and was damaged one windy night.We called ANOTHER company in town. They quoted us at $450-$600 for a custom replacement cap and parts [bolts?!?] plus over $100 to to install it. That seemed steep to me. Based solely on the one other review listed here at the time of me writing THIS one, we contacted Dr Flue. Dr Flue took our damaged cap, restored/repaired it, and had it installed for just shy of 1/3 the estimated total quote of the [better known?] competitor.Dr Flue has reasonable rates, is extremely courteous, obviously passionate about his job, flexible, and respectful. The experience of dealing with him was genuinely refreshing. This is only meant as a compliment - but Dr Flue is to chimney sweep services as Hank Hill was to propane and propane accessories!

These guys did a fantastic job today cleaning our stove and chimney. They both took time to explain the dos and donts of our stove insert. Highly professional, extremely nice and absolutely reasonable in price! Thank you again!

This is the second year we have used Dr. Flue for our chimneys. When we bought our house last year he gave us some pointers for safety with brush and our 4 spikey-ball trees, so that was helpful. When we called him back out today he remembered our house from last time and was very respectful of our dogs, even lifting the tools over the fence instead of leaving gate open for 10 seconds. Very good clean-up inside, as well. His services are beyond what we expected for the price so we will continue to use him as long as he stays doing it. Fiance urged me to mention his extremely pleasant demeanor but that is obvious from his actions with our dogs.

We had Dr flu out to give us an estimate on general fireplace and flu repairs. He not only found some problems the other companies did not but his prices were great and I could not have asked for more of a professional conduct.Just an update. We sold the house that John (Dr Flue) did the work on and in the home inspection, the inspector put in the report to the buyers Crazy nice flue liner Thanks again for your awesome work

Dr. Flue came to examine my flue, discovered the problem and offed to fix it or instruct me, turns out it was an easy fix and there was no charge.
