Was not happy with my 5 year Olds hair cut asked it to be cut shorter and she only cut it alittle shorter on top and when he was done we waiter for ever on my 2 other boys to get their hair cuts they kept skipping over them because other people checked in online. I definitely wont be taking my 5 year old there anymore i will take him to great clips they do better with him. I was able to get in quickly and the stylist was friendly and did a good job cutting my hair. MVP is the way to go. If you havent tried it get it the next time you go.Only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because you cannot check in over the phone.

I just moved to Springfield, Ohio in October 2020. I have tried a few salons. They could not get my hair right. My grandson told me about Sports Clips on Bechtel Ave. I once again took a chance and allowed them to try and cut my hair. Brooke did an awesome job. She actually listened to what I wanted. Love her. Will not go anywhere else. I have finally found my girl. My youngest and the pickiest of my grandsons, liked it so much that he let Shannon cut his hair and he loves it. Thank You so much Ladies for helping us to keep looking sharp.

Place has excellent hair stylist. Each time Ive went here they did a wonderful Job. Brook was the lady who did mine the last time. Very friendly and did a great job!

I only come to this location and specifically request that Jackie styles my hair. Jackie is highly professional, punctual and diligent in her work. She is also always polite, kind and makes sure she’s attentive to the details of the client. She and the other staff make getting my hair cut an incredible experience every time I make an appointment.

I really wish i could rate this place a 0 THIS PLACE IS THE WORST ! i’d never trust anyone of these women besides jackie to do my hair .

Ive been going to Sport Clips for haircuts for probably a year now, and Ive never had a bad experience. I think Ive had all of the barbers cut my hair at least once, and not a single time has it come out looking bad.As long as you have a good idea of what you want your hair to look like, I can pretty much guarantee youll leave feeling great about your experience.

The ABSOLUTE worst hairstylist EVER!! Nobody in line except what appeared to be her elderly boyfriend she was trying to flirt with for 15 minutes. Basically turned down trying to help to get checked in in the rudest fashion. Complained and complained about being the only stylist on duty. The entire place was a wreck. Messes everywhere. Not to even mention not wearing a mask when we walked in. Horrible! Will never return to Sports Clips again.

I am a long time customer. I walked in and there was no one in the store i could see. I loudly called for someone twice and no one answered. I cleared my throat loudly and a lady instantly came out of the back room and rudely told me she could not cut my hair because i had a cough. I tried to explain i was making noise to get someones attention but she kicked me out. Lost me as a customer.

All year I have had Jackie and Tia cut my hair. They offer great professional services and offer wit and humor as they cut away. I always leave happy about my hair cut and happy when I leave. I am sure there is other great staff, and I cant speak to that because I have only used Jackie and Tia. Would recommend this location and any branch that Jackie leads.

Great atmosphere and good stylist

Very rude!!! As soon as I walked up with my four-year-old son it was abundantly clear that they didn’t want to deal with a child. I signed in online they kept me waiting out in the car with the timer at zero with no one else on the waitlist until I finally had to call. The lady who answered the phone was rude and short with me. I get in and the rudeness continues!! I had to walk out with my son and go to a different place after I wasted my time waiting on the waitlist.

Best place to get haircuts in town

Very poor service I was only customer in line and because I couldnt sign in online. I was refused service...there was clearly a sign in sheet at the door which I signed as was still refused service.Jackie did not offer to assist in any way.Brooke was amazing when I first came to this location and she was the reason for my return.

The lady at the front when I walked named Jackie, she was very rude and unprofessional. She also yelled at a new employee while I was getting my haircut the last time. She is very rude to her fellow employees and very rude the the customers. She shouldn’t be aloud to talk like she does in her place of worK and be rude to her fellow employees.

I luv this place. Jackie is amazing and I havent had a bad experience for my husband. This is the only place that gets his hair right. And they do a great job on my under cut!! The atmosphere is great and they dont act high and mighty. I highly recommend!

Everyone go see Brooke. She is amazing. She did a wonderful job on my hair and she did a great job on fiance beard. Stay away from Jackie though. She is in everyones business and sticking her nose In other peoples and putting her opinion in places where it was not asked. She really put me off when in was there.

I waited for over an hour to get my haircut. 4 stylists became available and were incapable of doing a skin fade. When it finally was my turn to get my haircut by this poor skilled barber, she put her friend in front of me and my wait shot up by another hour. Nobody spoke to me or told me the situation. Poor customer service, botched hairlines, and a general lack of care. The worst experience I’ve had with someone who works for tips I’ve ever had. Please don’t waste your money.

Been here many times to have my sons hair cut. Sometimes the wait is bit long; however, his hair has always looked great! They always do exactly what I ask them to do and if they say theyre done they ask me to check before finishing up. Im not afraid to say, Well, I think it should be a bit shorter on the top. (Example) Or any other comment/ question to ensure he gets the exact haircut him, and I, wanted/ expected. Theyve never hesitated to meet expectations and theyve never been rude.

Waited 40 minutes today as they only had 2 stylist cutting hair on a Saturday morning no big deal but when the 1st stylist finished and I was up she had to go fix what the young unskilled stylist messed up!! So no worries I was at least getting the good one out of the 2 but instead someone else walked in and the lady says theres my buddy I havent seen in forever come on back... umm yea let me grab my hat and get out of here because that lady isnt messing up my hair!! Never will I go to this place again!!!!

Brooke did a magnificent job on my haircut today. Haven’t had a cut in 90+ days.

I usually LOVE this place but my last stop way terrible the service was bad and the people working seemed like they had no clue what they were doing. I asked for a half inch off the top of my hair Ive been trying to grow it out for awhile and she cuts like 3 inches off.

Normally this place does a good enough job of cutting my hair. But today I went in asking for a fade on the sides, as it was getting to be long, and they ended up just buzzing the sides off and leaving me with a mushroom top. It was apparent that my hairdresser didnt know what they were doing, towards the end one of the other dressers even had to step in and do what she could to salvage the cut but at that point not much could be done. Very dissapointed and after this experience I dont see myself returning there anytime soon.

The person who cut my hair, cindra I think was her name, was great. Conversational will still having great attention to detail. I was very happy with how she asked for feedback to make sure the length was perfect and she did a wonderful job managing my thinking hair.

Waited 15 minutes past the quoted 40, then the women were rude and not at all patient. They told another customers wife to go change her infant child in the car because they didnt have changing tables for a reason. Then they refused to allow me on the floor with my husband to explain how he cuts his hair because they werent understanding. They expected me to yell from the waiting area. He was already in the middle of the cut or wed have left immediately.

Well its better than great clips not that, thatd be hard by any means sometimes they take a bit too long to service you and youre​ waiting for a while my biggest complaint is theyre not a good place for fades they dont have the right tools for fades or they just dont know how to do them.

Messed up my haircut last time I went in there so they offered me a free MVP upgrade so I came in got my haircut and they only dropped the price $5. There minimum tip button is $5 anyways so I really payed the same amount.
