Didnt tell me my prescriber no longer practiced with them until I called to make a new appointment. Im out of medication until I can go get a new prescriber. Thanks for putting me in an amazing situation.

Dr. McGavic really listens and helps direct your medication according to your specific needs and goals. I highly recommend him!!

The rudest office staff. Clearly has no experience talking kindly to humans let alone somebody struggling with crippling anxiety and depression. I would rather deal with my depleting mental health than speak to anybody in that office ever again. Avoid them like the plague. Your mental health deserves proper care, which you won’t find here.

I can’t believe I have to make an appointment for my psychiatrist which is hard enough to get in contact to have my medicine refilled this is ridiculous

Terrible office staff. Dr McGavic seems knowledgeable and competent but doesnt mind the scheduling mistakes made by staff and the inconvenience caused to his patients. Twice mistakes were made in scheduling, and the office staff and Dr. McGavic are unapologetic. The solution is to have the patient reschedule. Its very frustrating.

Unprofessional. Spoke to Debra numerous times and was hanged up on so many times by her. She wouldn’t provide her name over the phone the first time I called.Me: Hello what’s your name so I can address you properly?Debra: This is the office what can I do for youMe: Asked againDebra: Hangs upI guess she hates her job so much. Someone find her a new job.——————Calling Medical services for refills is even worse. You sit there on hold waiting for them to pick up then 30 minutes later they pick up the phone and hang up right after LOL.Other than that the doctors are good people.

Their team has been very helpful. They listen and do a great job of getting you back to a healthy life. My only complaint is the phone system, they have improved since you get the office now instead of the call center. I have been to few different places and this group has been the most helpful to me so far.

Love Dr McGavic! He is extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him.Would suggest getting additional help in the office. Maybe someone dedicated to answering phones and someone friendly to greet patients.

Friendly and professional.However, the experience feels like youre are working with a large corporation. The phones are always busy and I had trouble solving situations that were outside the staff and patientportals standard operating procedures.

The staff are very down to earth and have exceeded my expectations. I moved from a state that had excellent mental health standards. I see both a Psychiatrist and a Therapist at the Springhurst location. The only thing I would say may needs improvement is the one receptionist can take a while to get appointments scheduled and checking people in. I think it’s the computer system. She is knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this practice to my own family and friends.

No one answers the phone or responds to emails and voicemails.

What was the name of the person at the front desk? because I had a wonderful experience the young lady was just awesome to talk to Im bad with names so I couldnt put hers in the review. If anybody knows please tell me so can send both of them a thank you card they were very awesome

Im a new patient. Had a rocky start but things have smoothed out quickly. Great to have another Adult with whom to safely talk about stresses and changes Im facing.

There much better then center Stone and they actually listen to me and helped me out when I needed it

Terrible terrible terrible. I waited 2 weeks for my appointment only to not have one. I couldnt find the office and when I called for directions (twice) I was directed to different people in different office not even in Louisville who have no idea where it is. When I finally found it I was stuck behind the woman in front of me for 10 minutes because the receptionist was so ungodly slow and ran her card multiple times after being declined over and over. Finally I get to the desk and the receptionist told me I might not be seen because my appointment was only 5 mins away from starting and she said theres 40mins worth of paperwork. (Wtf?) Then handed me a tablet to fill out forms on. I finished it in 10mins and went to the hand back the tablet. The woman was on her cell phone and I had to wait another 5 mins for her to get off the phone and then 5 more minutes for her to enter whatever into her computer before she even took my tablet back. Then she answers another phone call on her cell phone. Then she proceeds to tell me its too late to get into my appointment and I have to reschedule, mind you theres still 35 minutes left of an hour appointment which couldve been almost a full hour if the receptionist could do her job properly. Then she doesnt even reschedule me! She hands me a damn business card to call in and go through their phone system ! Unbelievable. Absolutely terrible service. The worst I have ever experienced at any doctor of any kind. Simply astonishing. DO NOT GO HERE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS! If customer service is that poor I can only imagine how the doctors are. Needless to say I will never be going back here and I suggest that you look elsewhere as well.
